I've only played Fusion and I loved it. If I remember correctly there's is an Alien Copy of you that you get to kill.

That's correct. That is known as the SA-X. It is merely pieces of Samus's Power Suit that were infected by the X parasites. It caused the explosion within the space station - and by the time you got close to the end of the game, you found out there were about TEN of them on board! Sucks that the thing was mimicing you at full power - including that wonderful Ice Beam. (Still didn't quite get how Samus could use the Ice Beam in the end when it was explained that your genetic makeup would reject the Ice Beam due to the effect of the Metroid vaccine)

Because she absorbed a Core-X, therefore intergrating without rejecting it

Works for me. Wonder if it would have any long-term effects. Of course, we all know that Samus loses all latent abilities at the start of each game somehow. At least it made sense why in each of the Metroid Prime games.

Recently, I beat Metroid Prime on my Trilogy disc. Soon, I'll be starting MP2. I'm not a huge Metroid guy, but I can say that it's a great series.

I like that they did all the MP games like MP3. The controls are just so much better.

 

MP2 is pretty rough. Having to switch between Aether and Dark Aether can get annoying.

Agreed. I couldn't actually get into MP for the GameCube because the controls just didn't suit me.

Same here. They felt very klunky. I LOVE how the Wii made you feel like you're actually in the suit moving around. The controls were perfect (although turning around is still meh).

 

Now if only this would happen for a Doom game.

I've never been that into the Metroid series, but it is a great one. I got Super on the VC and that was amazing. I also have Prime 1, 3 and Trilogy. I beat Prime and finished the first world of 3. As for Trilogy I only started 1.

 

Yea, I need to work on those two, which is something I'm planning on doing once school ends.

I love the Metroid Prime series. I am on MP2 but I still am stuck in the Torvus Bog (I couldn't find a save area). Shadow Commandos can be annoying without the proper equipment.
