Akira
I don't have an HD tv so I decided to order a cable that converts HDMI to VGA so I can run it through my PC monitor (which should then be able to play in 720p because the screen itself goes up to 1440X900). However, my monitor doesn't have built in speakers and I'm wondering if a device like this would work with the PS3 and allow me to hook up my Sony speaker system with standard audio jack, or if the process would be a little more complicated. All feedback appreciated =)
Cyber Altair
I think they might work. I need one of those myself XD
Poseidon©
Yes, it will work, since I sometimes use it on a trip or whatever. However, I would rather play on my huge 55 inch Sony Bravia HDTV with HDMI.
Akira
Well I got the cable and I haven't been able to make it work, despite the ad stating that it works with devices "such as PS3". May have to claim back mah monies.
