(updated)a easy way to make unique animated holos.

step 1: open up gimp.

step 2: open a holo onto the card, resize it (shift+t) to 244x248 and position it over the cards picture.

step 3: go to "filters", go to "distorts", select "iwarp" select "Deform mode" check "shrink" go to "deform radius" put to max, select "deform amount" put to max, check "bilinear", check "adaptive supersample" select "max depth" put to max, select "threshold" put to max.

step: at the top click "animate" check "animate", select "number of frames", put to 100, check "reverse", check "ping-pong".

step 4: warp it however you want.

step 5: click "OK", wait until it warps all 100 frames.

step 6: go to "file" select "save as", save as a "GIF" image, after clicking "save" the window will stop responding DO NOT CLOSE IT! when a window pops up check "save as animation", when another window pops up check "interlace" and click "save" and your done.
