Barret 50.cal is not so good even with fmj stopping power pro its not a one shot to the chest at all.

 

I think the intervention with fmj is best for quick scopes and hard scopes. The Intervention has a cool sound. Great accuracy and you can pull up the scope fast. Godly with a silencer and heartbeat monitor.

 

The WA2000 is good, but quite a bit of recoil. The smallest sniper but packs a good punch! Not as accurate as the intervention but looks more like a larger p90 to me.

 

The M21 is the BEST sniper rifle in MW2. Just as good as the intervention imo. I like both guns so its up to you which one you pick! Choose one of these 2 and you won't go far wrong.

Quick rundown, Barret and Inter are called One shot kill snipers while the WA2000 and M21 are called 2 shot kills (1 shot if it's a headshot)

 

NOW I prefer the Barret because it's unlocked early, quick firing rate and a great accuracy plus it doesn't cover much of the screen. The FMJ doesn't increase the damage, that increase in the meter? Just to symbolize increased bullet penetration.

 

Intervention is also good but reloading it is a hassle as well as it's bulky.

i prefer the .50 caliber sniper over all the other snipers.

 

i have used the WA2000 and it is ok...it just doesnt have the strength and sound of a real sniper

 

that goes with the intervention as well. Intervention is relatively as strong as the .50 caliber but it is not practical. if you see 3 snipers looking at you and you cant afford to take your eyes off the scope, i would go with the .50 caliber because you dont have to take your eyes of the scope.

 

If you dont take your eyes off the scope while using the intervention you will get disoriented because it does like a circular motion after you shoot

 

here is my sniper class if you want to know...

Primary: Barrett .50 Caliber Sniper

Secondary: P2000 or akimbo raffica (or single)

Equipment: Claymore

Secondary grenade: Flash (stops riot shields)

Perk 1: Sleight of hand

Perk 2: Stopping Power (you need this for sure)

Perk 3: Ninja or Sitrep (ninja so you dont appear on those dang heartbeat sensors or sitrep pro so you can hear the enemy before they arrive)

Intervention pwns in accuracy, while .50 is a bit easy to use, so i consider it slightly noobish. I won't talk 'bout the Walther and M21 since they're just noobish fu**** things with automatic fire. SUX
