He easily dodged the opposition's attack, jumping closer to Faith. Xander quickly relaxed, as he left the mech, dropped onto the ground, and had Reflect hide Lunar Eclipse away. Slowly, softly stepping towards Faith, he went on his knees. "I deeply apologize. Please forgive me." He requested, as Reflect introduced Xander and himself to Lucas, even while he was there, since it disn't seem like something Xander was willing to do. "I thought you were in danger..." He stood up, going in to hug her tightly.

Lucas fell to the ground behind Faith. "Ugh...... Huh." Lucas responded confused about the situation. "Yumi flew next to Faith and Sugar. "Hi! Thanks for protecting Lucas!" Yumi exclaimed as she flew back to Lucas and helped him up as Xander stopped his mech and came to the ground. "Th-thanks. And nice to meet you Reflect." Lucas then turned his attention to Xander. "Hey what's your problem?! Do you just attack people randomly?!" Lucas asked angrily as he was about to activate his mech. "If you wanna fight then I'll give you one! But don't attack someone like that, you coward!!!" Lucas yelled.

Faith blushed but smiled at Xander, "It's fine, but just make sure that we don't attack possible allys in the future." She then turned to Lucas, "Please forgive him. He's very protective of me, and it wasn't anything personal he just went on his first instinct." Faith bowed to Lucus. "We've very sorry for the misunderstanding, please don't be mad." Sugar looked from me, then to Lucus before following me.

 

"Sorry, sorry."

Still hugging Faith, Xander focused on Lucas, forgetting to pay attention to his insult; something Xander does quite well. Reflect flew besides Xander, cleaning some dirt off Xander's body. "Thank you very much." He thanked Reflect. He forgot that he was holding Faith tightly between his arms, so he softly loosened his grip. "If I may be honest, I would not mind staying in this position. He smiled, resisting the blush, as Reflect moved closer to, and began analyzing Yumi.

Lucas crossed his arms and pouted like a little kid. "Humph........ The nerve of some people......" Lucas said. Yumi then appeared on Lucas' head. "Aw c'mon Lucas, don't pout! Xander was just protecting Faith." Yumi explained. "So what?! Are you on his side too?!" Lucas exclaimed angrily. "(Man, just my luck......)" Lucas thought to himself. "He then tried to walk away from the scene, but Yumi pulled him back. "Lucas don't act like a little kid." Yumi said. "I'm not acting! I mean I'm not a kid!!!" Lucas yelled at Yumi.

Faith giggled at Yumi and Lucus. "Yumi, you act like his mother." Faith smiled, but then asked Lucus, "Are you also trapped here from hacking into the game? It seems like that's how a lot of us are getting back here." She said pointing to Xander then herself. "How long have you been here already, and have you met any other players?"

 

Faith was trying to see if there were more players out here, besides the three standing here, and the two a little further away. It would be best if they tried to get the just of how many people are here, because if she was right about that boy down there, then not all of the players here may be allys. Sugar sat on Faith's shoulder swinging her legs, waiting for Lucas to answer the barrage of questions.

Lucas then calmed down a little bit to answer Faith's questions. "Yes, as a matter of fact." Lucas explained as he continued to crossed his arms and pout. "However, I don't remember much of the details of how I got here. All I remember was passing out, and that's it." Lucas then pointed towards Jason and Ian. "Those two were the first that I met, other than that, you two were the next." Lucas explained. Yumi then pinched Lucas' cheeks. "Aw c'mon, turn that frown upside down!" Yumi exclaimed. "Ah! I'm not a play thing!!!" Lucas angrily yelled.

Xander stopped hugging her, but definitely was completely against stopping. Actually, while he was trying to stop hugging her, he asked her if she would hug him back, receiving a small punt to the face from Reflect. "Faith, I believe it would be best for our safety if we either began walking, or decided to rest here, for the night. Reflect had one last camping kit Xander bought while the game was free. After saying what he had to say, he waa whispering "Please hug me..." over and over again, but very quietly.

Gilbert had E.E. watch for anything from the boy, and instead focussed on the new arrivals. There was a girl there, along with one rather protective guy, until the second guy showed up, at which point the first brought out his mech - which seemed rather familiar to Gilbert.

 

"Is that?" he muttered, looking at the mech. It seemed like one he recognised from the first time he played, but he couldn't place it, and he was distracted by what the three were now talking about, so he left the identity of the machine aside. So these three are also stuck here, like I am, and I wouldn't be surprised if that other boy is as well. And that guy motioned over there, so there may be more.

[Aesirson]

"My name is Renegade!" Justin yelled up to Gilbert, who was still stationed inside "her" mech. "So you are one of those rare creatures that people call 'girls on the internet'?" Justin smiled maliciously.

"The DNA readings tell me that it's actually a boy in a woman's body." Yokai's voice said, coming from inside Tengu

"Heh!" Justin smiled even more. "So you're one of those unsure persons, huh? You will be an easy victim then!"

He jumped into the air and the cockpit of Tengu opened up so that Justin landed inside it. His voice, in chorus with Yokai's then echoed across the field.

"Say your final words, for I will rip your tongue, along with your abillity to speak out of your throat!"

I wonder, Gilbert mused, bringing his attention back to the boy, which he sees as my weakness; the fact that I have a woman's body, or the fact that my mind and my body aren't the same. Maybe the latter would be a weakness - if piloting mecha was something I'd ever done with in the real world. He quickly pushed a few buttons, and although it wasn't possible to tell, the lance had begun to vibrate rapidly and Uther's wheels had dropped into place.

 

"It is not wise to assume things, Renegade-boy," the voice echoed out. The lance dropped as the mech's other arm came up, bringing the shield with it. The woman in the cockpit gave a smirk. Your move.

((Actually, Renegade/Justin thinks that Gilber is "unsure" since he's playing as a woman while he's a boy IRL.))

 

"I'll make quick work of you!" The both voices said in a chorus. ((While Justin speaks through Tengu's loudspeaker his voice sounds as if it's mixed with Yokai's voice.))

 

"Yokai! Activate the Shadow Deflector!" Justin smirked as Tengu was embraced in a shadowy aura.

 

Tengu then jumped into the air and readied it's "TENGU KICK!"

"Geez now what?" Ian got up and walked to where all the commotion was. There were two people. A girl and a man. He blushed when he saw the girl. "So who are you two." He put his hands in his pockets and tried to look decent. Clause flew up to him. "Clause does that guy give you the same feeling?" Luckily he could talk to Clause through his mind so as not to disturb any peace. "I'm trying to get a reading but I'm not really getting anything other than their names." "Weird..." "So Xander and Faith right? Nice to meet ya. My name is BlazeAwayez, otherwise known as Ian." "Clause." Data flashed across Clause's eyes as he said his name. "Sorry I'm still kinda out of it since I was trapped here." He rubs his hair awkwardly.

[Time Psyduck]

Gilbert flicked the speakers off. "E.E., give him some missiles to deal with."

 

"Understood," the pink hemisphere flashed. Instantly the shield parted and two small missiles burst from it, each curving around to strike the Tengu from opposite sides. The moment the missiles were launched, the shield clamped shut once again, and the Uther backed up, seeming to skid along the ground as it rolled on hidden wheels.

 

"Ready the smoke launchers," Gilbert continued. Your kick shouldn't come this far. You have a lot of confidence, probably because you don't realise who you're up against. So, what will your ego make you do now, boy?

[Aesirson]

Tengu was hit from two sides and Justin was shaken by the hit, but he was too overconfident to care about it.

 

"Hah! The Shadow Deflector absorbs most shock damage that the Tengu would take, so there's no use!" Justin grinned again. "Yokai! Ready the Void Dive!"

 

Tengu changed it stance, still in mid-air, to a diving state with it's fist pointing forward. The shadowy aura then turned into a meteorite form adn the mech dived at a tremendous speed towards Uther.

 

"Take this, imbecile!" Justin recklessly yelled.

 

"One of the missiles seems to have hit a weak spot." Yokai's voice was heard through the cockpit.

 

"I don't care! This idiot will be killed!"

 

((And with these madman words I'll log off for the (Scandinavian) night. See you tomorrow.))

"That thing's fast," Gilbert noted, as the Tengu began to close rapidly. He wouldn't have been able to call for the smoke launchers, had E.E., now panicking, not already cloaked the Uther in grey smoke. Gilbert forced his mech sideways, spinning it around in the same movement, as the other mech rushed into the smoke. He has a very aggressive style, he mused, ramming the lance forward into the smoke at the point where the Tengu should have, had it not changed course, been. And that shielding system isn't bad either. But, Renegade-boy, how adaptable are you?

Faith was going to reply, but she heard Xander whispering "Please hug me", so before she forgot she turned around and gave him a quick hug. "Happy now?"She smiled at her friend, before turning to the new kid that came.

 

She smiled at Ian. "My name is Faith, but my user name is Cherry. Ill respond to either one. She," Faith motioned to her A.I, "Is Sugar. That's Xander, and his A.I Reflect."

 

"I'm glad to see that we're not alone here. When I woke up I thought fo sure I was the only one willing to hack into the game. Guess I was wrong." She noticed the two mechs a good distance away had begun fighting. "Hm...Do you guys think we should move? I wouldn't want the fight to travel this way and we get caught in the crosshairs."

Xander hugged her back, smiling. A few moments later, his A.I. forcefully pushed him away, whispering to Xander that he should give her some room. Xander agreed, and back off about a foot. "Hello." Xander and Reflect both greeted Ian at the same time. "How are you?" They both asked in unison, once again. Right after, he looked towards the two fighting mechs, and felt it was probably better to get away. "I would feel better if we went another way. Keeping us safe is of the highest priority in this situation, and I do not want you being injuredin any way." He whispered in Faith's ear, as Reflect was eavesdropping.

"Oh hello Xander." He smiled. Although that quickly faded when he heard a large boom behind him. "What the-" Ian turned to see two mechs fighting. "Oh good a show." He smiled. He's been itching for a fight ever since he got here. He wondered if he could kill the two over there making all that noise. "Actually a fight doesn't seem that bad. We need to test out how to do this with our hands and not on a keyboard. Then again some of us might be used to it already but I just got here." He walked around a bit more stretching his legs. He looked at the group. "Well? Lucas c'mon I know you'd want to." Clause looked at the battle going on ahead of them. "They're not that far away. I've just calculated that they're heading straight for us." Ian smiled. Finally he get to be in some action. He told Clause to spawn the mech. The cube appeared and out of it formed his mech. "Well, there it is. Zeta." He was proud of building a mech that suited him so well. He climbed in the pilot seat, propped his feet, and waited for his groups answer.

As Lucas tried to chase after Yumi, he stopped and noticed Ian was here. "Huh, Ian, it's you. I guess Jason hasn't come over yet huh?" Lucas said jokingly. "Guess you already met Faith and Xander, and their A.I.s as well." Lucas said as he turned his attention towards Xander. "Don't accidentally fall near Faith or Xander over there might try and take your head off." Lucas said angrily. Yumi then jumped back on to Lucas' head and point to the direction of two mechs fighting. "Hey Lucas! Over there, look!!!" Yumi exclaimed. "Huh, those are two mechs fighting." Lucas said to himself. He then heard what Faith said about the two mechs. "Hmm, maybe we should move out of the way." Lucas responded. Lucas thurned to Faith and noticed Xander whispering in her ear. "(What the?! This guy is really something.)" Lucas irritatingly thought to himself. Lucas turned his attention to Ian who was asking for a sparring match. "I would, but I think Jason will be mad that I started sparring with you and didn't finish the spar with him." Lucas explained.

Faith smiled gratefully at Xander fighting the urge to blush. "I know." She replied right before Ian called out his Mech, apparently wanting to spar, but Lucas said smething about Jason would be mad if he spared Ian. She looked at the mech, observing it Sugar doing the same. To be honest Faith almost forgot about the tiny A.I on her shoulders as she had been quiet uncharacteristicly long.

 

Faith only shrugged, then turning to look back at the fighting Mechs. "They're pretty good...The pilots and the mechs I mean." She looked at the one that shouted "Tengu kick", "That Tengu mech is very fast. Faster than you would expect from an average mech. The other one is very resourceful, his reaction time is a bit slower than the other but not noticebly. It's obvious to tell which one is new to piloting the mech from inside the game." She analyzed with a calculating look on her face. She wasn't talking to anyone, intending to whisper it to herself...But she does have a tendency to talk louder than she is meaning too at times.

Xander continued watching the two that were fighting. It looked a bit like an even match. Turning around towards the same field that nobody was, he quietly called for Reflect. "What is it?" Xander stepped a few feet from the group, and into the field. "I'm going to need Eclipse, but we'll have to call upon him alone. We're going to leave for a bit." Reflect didn't mind leaving the group. "Whatever you wish." Reflect and Xander began walking away to the field, not turning back. By now, though, they were dozens of meters from the group.

"Hey where is Xander going?" Ian pointed to the man and his A.I. walking away. He had natural eagle eyes in the real world and the game. That Tengu was extremely fast. Nothing his mech couldn't handle. Zeta could exert massive amounts of speed if it is charged adequately. Each burst lasted about ten minutes with twenty five minute intervals. This causes the mech to overheat at times causing the charge times to be a bit shorter. He hated himself for not knowing how to make the mech absorb the heat inside itself. He watched more as the Tengu fought the other. Now it looked as if it would never end. "Looks like the climax will never come." He sighed and fiddled with the holoscreen. Clause flew up to Ian and sat on his shoulder. "If you really want to fight, why not just a little?" "You'd really ask me that?" He looked on inpatient as ever.

Tengu had been able to dodge the lance and landed next to Uther instead.

"You're a tricky one." The mech entered a stance that brought minds to karate.

 

"Make it ready, Yokai." Justin said to Yokai so that it couldn't be heard in the loudspeaker. He was grinning.

 

"Is it necessary?" Yokai's voice was still emotionless.

 

"I don't think so, but we will have to be on the sure side, he's a potential opponent." Justin looked at Uther.

I want that mech's head, even if I'll be forced to take it by force!

Tengu then did a quick move and grabbed one of the dead mechs' leg and then, with a tremendous power, used the mech as a mace and started attacking Uther with it.

 

"Take this, girl!" Justin was laughing maniacly again.

Gilbert forced the shield up to take the blows from the improvised weapon. He's good - a bit violent, but good.

 

"This isn't good for the arm unit," E.E. warned, worry in her voice, "put up the barrier. We need the energy shield to keep this up," she added, almost pleading in what was very much panic.

 

"I think we'll keep that for later," Gilbert replied, drawing the lance back, "I have a better idea." The Uther's Lance shot forward, straight into the Tengu's torso.
