Pokemon Paradox: Trapped in The Game [Need more trainers!!! Accepting,barely Started}

Sam stood up and looked at Nick, “My name is Sam.” She greeted the boy before picking up an empty poke ball to use for Mudkip. She placed Mudkip’s poke ball, the D.V. and the Pokedex into her pocket. I think I’ll let Mudkip walk around with me., Sam thought before looking back at Nick. She sized him up and grinned. Don’t you usually have rivels in these games? I think I just found a strong rivel., she thought eager to capture more pokemon and waiting for him to ask he to a battle. After she would head out to the next town and start her journey. Let’s see…Mudkips start off with tackle/tail whip/bubble and water gun first I think. Or does it really matter what moves they know first sine I am actually in the game now? Oh well…I’ll find out soon enough. Mudkip was standing by her feet.

IC: Nick looked at the girl. "Well then Sam. You want to battle before you head out?" He said pulling out his pokeball. He hit the button and Eevee landed on the ground infront of him. He looked at his wrist. "My D.V. says your pokemon only knows tackle and growl. Thats too bad. Eevee knows tackle and Tailwhip." Nick locked eyes with Sam. His D.V. Beeped signaling the start of a pokemon battle. THe rules of the game said when two trainers lock eyes, a battle starts. The screen of the D.V. also had a helpful screen with the HP of each pokemon on it so the battle would get interesting. This was a game after all.

Sam grinned and took out Mudkip's pokeball,"Ok let's battle." Emily threw the pokeball up and Mudkip landed on ground before catching the pokeball again . She took out the D.V. and checked the HP levals of both pokemon. They were both full. Well, I guess that answers some of my questions.,Sam thought,We may be in the game but it's still just that. anouther pokemon game that's run like any of the others. The only difference being this time we really are trainers.

Nick smiled and told Eevee to use Tail whip and dodge as many attacks as possible. It would take skill for a normal pokemon to beat a water. Nick would not lose his first pokemon battle and he was determined. Eevee let out a small noise as she lept at Mudkip. Her tail bushed up and puffed as she spun around swinging the tail in Mudkip's face distracting her and making her defence fall. Now she waited to dodge her attack so she could retaliate with a tackle.

"Thank you." he said while accepting the Pokemon, Pokedex and PokeD.V. "So you must be Professor Oak." he also said shaking his hand with the Professor. "Well, I've gotta go and get those running shoes you said Red's mother has. Thanks again!" he said walking out of the lab. Now, the only problem I have now is how to get my memory back. he thought curiously walking to Red's house. "Hello, I believe you have a stock of Running Shoes for me." he said to the woman in the house, who he presumed to be Red's mother.

Red's mother nodded and pulled a pair of running shoes from her bag. Press B to use them. THe words were confusing, but they were in a game. The shoes made the wearer go a lot faster than regular but otherwise they couldn't run so the shoes were good for that.

 

Professor Oak sighed as he awaited the Pokemon that would be sent to his PC devices. He had several and the pokemon could go there if they needed some stretch time from the PC.

 

Eevee decided to Tackle now. She leapt through the air and began to go down hard on Mudkip.

Jason saw that a girl and a boy were talking, and he stuffed the items he received from Professor Oak in his pocket, not checking what Pokemon he got in that Pokeball. He walked up to them, and made out better that they were battling. He stopped, and crossed his arms, deciding to watch. They seem to really be going at it. This is an exciting battle, and it's quite entertaining to watch. But I need to worry about myself, and figure out some way to get back to my world. This is cool, but I really don't want to spend the rest of my life here...

Leonard took Chikorita's Poke-Ball and held it in his hand. "Go, Chikorita!" he smiled, as he looked at the trainers battling. He decided he needed to battle. He looked at the boy who just grabbed a Pokemon also, then at his D.V. It read Chikorita's current HP, ATK, DEF, SpATK, SpDEF, SP, and EVA. It also showed it's moves to be Tackle and Growl. Soon it was to learn Razor Leaf, but after three more opponents. Leonard stood there, staring at the trainer with The Treecko, and trying to intimidate him into a battle.

"Thank you." Dylan said as he accepted the shoes that Red's mom offered him. He walked back to the lab confused. He saw that his Pokedex had got seen pokemon to 10 and caught pokemon is one. "Professor, I was just wondering, where should I go now?" he said to the Professor. He then saw a book on the table and he picked it up. "Wow, Gyms... huh...." he said while reading the book. "So, the first Gym is in Pewter City.... Thanks!" he said to Oak. He looked around the lab and considered the option of staying there and making some friends. I might need them. Anyway, I should take my time. he thought suddenly. He approached the Trainer that was staring at him and said "What's your name?"

"My name is Leonard. What might yours..." he was interrupted by the sound of his Poke.D.V. It has said that since the eyes of two trainers had met, they must battle. "Um, Okay then, it looks like we have to battle. Go on Chikorita, you can do it!" The Poke.V.D. showed both Pokemon's health, seeing as the only Pokemon the other trainer had was a Treecko. "Alright, send out your Pokemon!" said Leonard, awaiting his opponent's Pokemon. He knew his opponent had a Treecko, he was just hiding it.

Sam didn't instruct Mudkip to do anything just yet. But once Evee got close enough,"Jump up and use tackle!" Mudkip jumped up into the air causing the Evee to miss her and look around slightly confused. Then Mudkip started heading for Evee and used tackle to hit the pokemon and slam her to the ground. Mudkip landed in front of Sam again. This is soooo much more fun then using he game controllers., Sam thought happily. "Not bad.", she laughed and looked at Nick grinning.

Eevee shook it's head. Nick decided to get Mudkip's defense lower before tackling. he never tackled right away, and with that Eevee bushed her tail up again and whipped Mudkip right in the face. With a scratch of her feet on the tile in the Lab she leaped into the air, hitting a lamp, and Tackling Mudkip to the ground. The attack was especially damaging since Mudkip's defense was low to begin with. Eevee got to her feet as almost half of Mudkip's HP went down.

Mudkip got up and Sam started to re-think her options. That's when it came to her. Sam wasn't thinking completly right. She finally pulled out the D.V. and looked at the discriptions for Tackle and Growl. According to the D.V. Growl lowerd the attack of the opponent pokemon. It wasn't really her typical style to use moves like Tail Whip or Growl or even Screech for that matter, But maybe at least untill Mudkip evolves to Marshtomp and learns some water-type moves I should start using Growl., she thought. "Mudkip use Growl.", she told the Mudkip. Mudkip imediaetly started to growl, although reather sweetly, at Evee. Sam checked the D.V. and nodded slightly. Growl was doing what it was ment to do and Evee's asttack was falling steadily. Maybe if I can use both Growl and my normal style of battling it would be better., she decited.

 

((I forget what Level Mudkip evolves to Marshstomp at and what level Marshstomp evolves into Swampert at. Do levels still matter?))

OoC: Kinda, goto Bulbapedia to check the levels. And you can sorta estimate when your mudkip should have enough experiance to level up or evolve...

 

IC: Eevee let it's sweet side come out and calmed down a bit. Something that growled that sweet couldn't do much harm. When Eevee atacked again she was more gentle. But mudkip couldn't take much more. Acording to the D.V. her HP was at about 25 percent. Eevee readied herself to dodge another tackle before she tail whipped again to get her attack power back to finish off Mudkip. Nick rubbed his chin trying to figure out if he should attack again or what. Growl wouldn't save this Mudkip because she would need more than growl to stop eevee from K.Oing her.

"OK! Treecko you're up!" he said before throwing his Pokeball up into the air and catching it when it came down. His Poke D.V. showed that Treecko knew Pound and Leer. "Alright, use Leer!" Dylan said while thinking up his next objective. When its Defense was lowered vastly, he commanded Treecko to use Leer and then Pound. Treecko jumped to Tackle the Chikorita and vastly lower its HP. Good, now a few more hits and then he'll be down. Dylan thought. "So what next, Leonard?" he said to the Trainer that was battling him.

"Chikorita, now use Growl to weaken the power of Treecko's Pound!" Leonard shouted. The Chikorita growled loudly and intimidatingly at the Treecko. Leonard's goal was to weaken the power of this Treecko's Pound attack, then quickly attempt a counter with a Tackle.Leonard was having so much fun that he almost forgot about his brother. The only thing he cared about right now was leveling up his Chikorita so that it could learn Razor Leaf.

OOC: Sorry, but I didn't even know what godmodding was since now.

 

IC: "You're good for a Trainer that hasn't been battling for a long time." he said. But so am I! he thought to himself. Treecko collided with the Chikorita and both their HP decreased at the same level. "Now use Leer again!!!" he said right after his Treecko got up after the collision. The Treecko vastly lowered its defense to gain a good advantage against a fellow Grass type. It's weird. I can't remember anything except how to battle. he thought curiously. "Anyway, what are you gonna do after this battle?" he asked Leonard.

OoC: Since Aura Lady isn't replying, Im going to say I won and continue.

 

Eevee Tackled Mudkip finishing off Her HP as Mudkip fell to the ground. Nick nodded and called Eevee to his heels. "Good Job Girl." He said patting her head. He left the Lab shortly after and went to begin his journey. Red's mom was extremely kind and gave him a pair of running shoes that he slipped on with ease. Eevee had to hold onto his backpack as to not get left behind as Nick zoomed through the grass. a pidgey flew infront of him and a battle began. "Okay Eevee let's take him down." Because Eevee won against Mudkip she had learned a new move, although Helping hand would do her no good, if Nick met a trainer he would travel with it would be a good move to know. Eevee Tailwhipped the mess out of Pidgey keeping sand out of her eyes before giving it one good tackle. Nick sprayed some Potion onto Eevee before zooming off towards Viridian City.

Sam returned the fainted Mudkip to her pokeball. She looked at the pokeball deep in thought before grinning and putting it away, "Guess we'll just have to work harder then." She walked towards the door to the lab waving at everyone that was left. "Thanks Proffesor Oak! See yeah!" With that she left the Lab and headed for the next town trying to avoid places wild pokemon were sure to be. First she would have to get Mudkip revived at a Poke Center and then she would go and buy a few pokeballs and potions from the Pokemon Mart. After that, she thought with a huge grin, It's time to really get this game going!

OoC: Sorry Auralady, you were taking too long. Sorry for making you lose, you'll get a rematch later when Mudkip Knows some better moves, I'll even evolve Eevee into the element that your pokemon Weakens Flareon, or something else Actually only leafeon would hurt Mudkip since jolteon can't hurt her since Mudkip is Ground. I might evolve her to that and then be upset.

 

IC: Red's mother looked at the girl walking by her house, she seemed to be straggling behind the other trainers that had already left almost half an hour before. "Excuse me, I have another pair of running shoes if you want them." Red's mother said with a warm smile. And your pokemon looks terrible, would you like to rest before you go on?" She asked.

 

Nick Skated into Viridian with Time to spare. There was a pokemon center, a few houses, and a gym. Nick's face brightened at the sight of that and he skipped the pokemon center and went to the Pokemart to buy items. He bought a few potions and some pokeballs before running to the Gym. With a wide smile he pulled on the doors. They didn't budge. Nick's face twisted in confusion. "Why are they closed?" He wondered. A man that was sitting off to the side looked at Nick. "That guy hasn't been here in ages." He said referring to the Gym Leader. Nick noticed a sign next to the door. "Gi---- The headstrong leader." It read, the name worn away. Nick smiled at the man and walked away, upset that he wouldn't get to challenge the leader there. "Young man there are 7 other gyms, in fact, there is one in pewter on the other side of Viridian forest." Nick thanked him and walked off towards the forest.

Sam looked at the kind women. She walked over, "That would be nice. Thank you." She thanked the women and put the pair of running shoes on before putting her old shoes in her backpack. Mudkip was still in her pokeball when Sam checked so she looked at the women. "A rest would be greatbefore we contine to the next town. By the way....what is the next town?", Sam asked her. As soon as she asked her question Sam rememberd something. The map was in her bag. She blushed slightly with embrassment.

Leonard then remembered this battle distracted him from his real goal, finding his brother. "Um, I have to find somebody else who got sucked into the game. His name is Peter, have you seen him?" Leonard asked, desperate to find his brother. "Whatever, Chikorita, use Growl!" "Chiiiiiiiiiiko!" it said, growling loudly, which lowered Treecko's attack by as much as Leer had lowered Chikorita's defense. "Now, use Tackle!" The little green Pokemon threw itself at Treecko.

OoC: from level 5 to 6, yea one trainer ould be good. You can also say you trained in Viridian city before getting to pewter city gym and your pokemon got to level nine about...

IC: Red's mother smiled and told her. "Welll after our little town of Pallet, is Viridian and than pewter."

 

Nick looked ahead at the route before the forest. There were several trees blocking paths out of the city but there was one route open. Pokemon Leaugue The sign read. Nick decided to go see what THAT was about. He stepped through some grass and before long a small monkey shaped pig faced pokemon jumped out in front of him. He pulled out his pokedex and pointed it at it. Mankey, the Pig-Monkey pokemon, further information upon capture. Nick sighed and let Eevee go. "Eevee use tail whip." She used it and Mankey got upset. He kicked Eevee who let out a cry. Her HP dropped to half. "No Eevee!" Nick yelled as eevee struggled to her feet. Mankey came in for another swipe but eevee doged it and tackled Mankey with all her might. Mankey's HP also dropped considerably. "C'mon Eevee, another Tail whip and we have him." She hit Mankey and he let his guard down. He threw out his arms in fury but Eevee doged it. She hit him hard in his side and he went down but didn't faint. With one hard kick Eevee flew a few feet back. "Eevee hang in there!" Nick called. She sighed. Nick threw a pokeball at Mankey who turned into red energy and was sucked into the ball. It hit the ground with a thump and it rocked back and forth. Once, Twice, It quivered as if it would open, and than it tilted one last time and Nick heard a click. He uncrossed his fingers and looked at it. eevee return." he said holding out the ball. She turned into energy and then soared into the ball. Nick pocketed it and then aproached Mankeys ball. He hesitated to pick it up. The dangerous fighting type seemed hostile even inside a pokeball. His pokedex beeped as it filed in an entry for Mankey. Nick picked it up and turned back toward the pokemon center, if it was that hard to fight a wild pokemon, Nick knew he definately wouldn't make it to the pokemon league, yet...

Sam got up and went downstairs the next morning. She had rested well and was ready to be on her way now. She took out Mudkip's pokeball and pressed the button letting out her partner. "Mudkip!", Mudkip said happily. Sam smiled. It was clear the little pokemon was fully rested and ready to head out. Sam looked at the women who had helped them, "Thanks so much for letting us rest here. We have to leave now though. Bye!" Sam ran out the front door with Mudkip right next to her. She suddenly realized her bag felt a little heavier then normal and checked quick. Pokeballs and potions were hidden along with the map. Sam took the empty pokeballs out and put them on her belt for easy access. As she walked in the tall grass an ember flew past missing her and Mudkip by inches. She spun. Vulpix! A wild female Vulpix! She took out the D.V. Vulpix, the fox pokemon. More information comming later.... She put the D.V. away in her pocket again. The Vulpix fired another Ember attack at Mudkip. Remembering what she learned from her battle with Nick, "Mudkip jump away and use Growl and fast!" Mudkip managed to doge the attack and executed a great Growl. The Vulpix's attck. began to fall. "Great now keep doging and using Growl Mudkip!", Sam orderd hyped up now. Mudkip did untill Sam saw the wild pokemon's attack could go no lower. "Tackle!" Mudkip slammed into the Vulpix who was sent skidding on the ground. Some of the HP succefully drained. Sam took out an empty pokeball from her belt and tossed it at the fallen Vulpix. It made contact and shook. Finally it dinged and stoped. Sam grinned widely and went to pick it up. "We did it Mudkip! We got Vulpix and,", she looked back at the D.V. According to it Mudkip should learn Water Gun nexted. Also the Vulpix knew Quick Attack, Ember and Tail Whip. Awsome!, Sam thought.

"Treecko, dodge it!" he shouted, while thinking about what Leonard had said about his brother. "I lost my memory after finding myself here, so here's the deal. After this battle, I'll help you find your brother, but you must help me get my memory back." he said while figuring out a different strategy. "Next, I'll battle with speed! Treecko, use Pound to injure that Chikorita!" he said fiercely as Treecko jumped at the enemy Pokemon. Come on, work! I have to win, otherwise I'll be branded as a loser, for the time being anyway. he thought, hoping desperately that they would find their destiny as Trainers.
