Rise of the Crescents [Accepting/Started]

"AAH YOU MOTHER F*****!" Ceodore screamed as the ferral girl dug her claws into him. He grabed onto her, trying to push her off, but to no avail. He heard her high pitched voice grow more deafening. He wasn't used to this much noise. Britney's powers had already faded out of his body, but maybe...

 

"Don't feed the Hyena? Well, too bad! She need a taste of her own medicine!" Ceodore grabbed the girls arms tightly and began to suck out her health and powers. Soon he felt the pain in his shoulder go away. However, he suddenly had the uncontrollable urge to laugh. As he began laughing, he could feel his voice growing higher and stronger. Soon he was able to push the girl back with her own sound-controlling ability. But with such a strong power, his ability to use it faded quickly. Soon, Ceodore barely even remembers finding the girl.

 

"Ugh...my head hurts...." He sees the girl again. "Oh my gosh! Are you ok? What happened?"

[Twig]

Trent sat down, looked at all the commotion, and face palmed. This is harder than I thought. He hoped they would at least kill some Shine Soldiers before killing each other.

 

"Everybody, stop!"

 

No one seemed to hear him. What did that old monkey tell him again? Action speaks louder than words? Yes, that's it.

 

"It's sleeping time guys," Trent whispered.

 

He got the Nightrose Flower out of his pocket and made it grow and grow. The sleeping gas from the humongous flower started spewing out. Trent was first to fall down sleep. Nighty night everyone.

[Clair]

Jane watched, amused, as her toy ran away from her. Fine. I'll allow you some freedom, she thought, licking her lips.

 

Suddenly, she noticed the disheveled girl splayed out on the ground. She was giggling like a hyena. Ceodore was looking at her in shock. Jane grinned. She reminds me of myself...

 

Walking over, Jane helped Hyena to her feet.

 

"What are you doing here?" she whispered softly into her ear. "It seems you laugh at the world, just like me..."

 

Noticing their supposed "leader" was asleep, Jane smirked again.

 

Maybe I can find Lucas in peace, later...

[Twig]

Trent was at Aquatis City in his dream again. He saw again the ancient temples in rubble and the shining crescent mark. Maybe I can find clues to where Aquatis City really is.

 

Trent tried to swim up to the surface, but something was blocking him. A huge landmass was above Aquatis City. Maybe that's why it's been lost. Explorers look for Aquatis City in seas and ocean, but it's actually underground.

 

But wait. Where was all the light coming from? He looked left to right and saw it. The land mass that covered Aquatis City didn't go on forever. It was an island. Aquatis City is under a floating island. Where a city has risen, a city has fallen. Trent finally had an idea to where Aquatis City is.

As the Nightrose came closer and closer to Lucas, Lucas calmed down and used his wind power to blew the Nightrose away from him. "Whew, well that's a close one." Lucas said to himself. He then looked over and noticed that Trent has fallen asleep. "Huh, well I guess you fell asleep with your own powers huh?" Lucas stated jokingly. Lucas then jumped up out of surprise and looked around to see if the other girl was still there. "Gah, huh, where is she?" Lucas asked confusely. "Oh well, at least now things can be peaceful again......." Lucas stated as he walked over and picked up a Nightrose. "I should probably get some sleep as well." Lucas then sniffed the Nightrose and fell down on the soft grass.

"WHAT BUT I JUST WOKE UP FROM A BAD DREAM I DONT WANNA SLEEP AGAIN" . Britney screamed angrily as she began backing up slowly until she was cornered into a wall. She attempted to not breath in the noxious gas from the Nightrose Flower but her attempts were worthless against the gas all around her. She finally took in one large breath and was stumbling from drowsiness already. "Im gunna kill you Trent" . Britney managed to choke out before she had passed out onto the ground snooring loudly.

Ceodore felt the urge to get the girl (Jane, but he forgot by using Hyena's powers) away from this new girl, but he couldn't. He just felt sooo tired....

 

Nighty Night everyone...

 

Ceodore is in pitch black darkness. Something tells him this isn't going to be like everyone else's dreams. Suddenly, a bright crescent appears in the dark sky. A soft voice fades in.

 

Ceodore , vos postulo iuvo suus. Ut is adveho , is mos teneo nusquam. Vos postulo protego suus.

 

"Huh, who's there?" Ceodore shouted. He was nervous, but unafraid.

 

Is vereor solitas.

Is vereor res pessum ire.

Is vereor res non diligo.

Is vereor res per nusquam.

 

Vos postulo protego lemma totus. singulariter Cuore.

 

"I don't understand! Hey!"

 

Ceodore can't wake up. He is left in the darkness. Suddenly, there is a different feel to the air around him. He is back in the city in the air. But something draws his attention to below it. He heads for the edge and looks down. There is an island.

 

"Wow!!!" Ceodore says in amazement of the beauty. For some reason, he looks up, and can faintly see a floating circle. "What could that be?"

[Barian Warlord]

Terra groggily woke up after being hit with the sleep cloud for no apparent reason. "Ugh, well that was an odd nap." Terra looked around seeing that a few people had already woken up. "SO, what are we doing, things get kinda crazy with you guys huh, so... whats the plan again are we finding some legendary item or something, this is just kinda confusing, wild girl, seductive girl, girl who keeps falling asleep, you guys just come with a bunch of crazy girls don't you." Terra got up and checked his equipment to make sure he wasn't mugged."

[Kaisu]

Arthur was still trying to get some wood when James returned. Shaking his head so hair covered one eye, he looked to Arthur, who was hacking at a tree with an axe. It would be awkward moving with two hard items against the back of one's arm, but James had been like this for years and he elegantly walked over to Arthur. His red gloves were ripping, with splinters flying from his terrible skill.

 

"Art, don't hack like that." James scolded, taking the axe out of Arthur's hands. Placing a hand on his forhead, he was disgusted at the sweat that had formed. Taking a quick drink out of the small bottle in his dagger, he walked away, waving.

 

"Well, I'm going to go wash, later, Ray." Art sang as he turned and walked away.

Lucas was fast asleep, his face looked like an innocent child. Soon Lucas woke up, he was back at the ancient civilization. "Here again.........." Lucas stated as he stood up from the ground and started to wander the city streets. "Man, this place seems more deserted than Keva Island after that storm hit. These buildings are so old......." Lucas said to himself as he looked around him. Temples after temples could be seen everywhere. Lucas was showing definite signs of curiosity as he jumped across a small stream. He stopped for a minute and wondered to himself why would there be a stream on a city in the sky. "Huh, well isn't that just the strangest thing........ Well, maybe not.........." Lucas said to himself as he continued to wander around aimlessly.

"Right..." Sideway said pulling his blade carefully. "Very well, whatever you say." He said bowing slightly and giving a sweep of his free arm. If there was only two then Sideway could probably have taken them easily, but he didn't want to risk it not without even a little bit of his power and that wouldn't recharge properly till it came to night. He began to follow Tinka, but his senses just wouldn't let him settle even with a telepath nearby.

"Remember to keep your mind open when using your power, listen to what your senses have to say," Sideway said, "That should work right? I've only ever met one psychic crescent marked before, he said that's how he used his powers."

[Naimo]

Hyena let go of Ceodore, and then heard Twig. For a split second, she paused, then suddenly broke into wild, insane, raucious laughter that frighteningly almost paralleled a hyena's laughter. In fact, she was in such a heavy fit of laughter she had collapsed onto the floor, rolling around on the grass and dirt, muddy tears of illogical happiness streaking down her face. Her mouth was so wide, it was almost like a snake had just opened its jaw. More interestingly though, her laughter was sending sonic soundwaves, irritating everyone's ears, even Mango's, and she was still some distance from them. However, her laughter was cut short as she felt a sharp pain shoot through her. When it was over though, Hyena was looking extremely mad, more saliva drooling from her teeth and onto the grass below.

 

She was staring at Ceodore with wild eyes, her hands closing into fists as she began to see him as one gigantic carcass, ready for her to dig her teeth into and rip off as much meat as she could. Slowly, she licked her lips and teeth, moving her tongue with inhuman flexibility. However, she quickly got over it; no, now wasn't the right time.

 

"Hyena never sleeps," she said half-hissing, half-normally as she began to prowl around on all fours. "I will keep guard." She suddenly stopped and sat like a hyena, remaining incredibly still for the next few minutes, before she used her right foot to scratch her suddenly itchy ear. And so she remained, sitting, scratching, sniffing and drooling, though thankfully not disturbing anyone.

Meanwhile, at Crystal Cavern...

 

A glowing crescent appears in the ground in front of the entrance. A young girl of about ten, wearing a green dress with green hair, is teleported above the crescent, and it fades away. The girl grabs her head and goes into a fetal position, having a massive headache. She begins to cry, having no memory of where she was or of what she must do...

 

A Shine Soldier approaches. He sees the girl crying, but cares very little. "Hey, this area is off li--" He sees her crescent mark. A huge, elegant C-shape on her forehead. Without hesitation, the soldier pulls out his ALS and starts firing. The girl screams, and starts running.

[Clair]

Jane looked over at the new girl with the torn dress with interest. She seems like me when I was just a bit younger... only a bit more wild. Jane grinned and took a seat next from Hyena, pale legs crossed on the grass.

 

She liked her already. Maybe Hyena and her could make this trip a little more exciting...

 

Jane leaned over and whispered in Hyena's ear, careful not to disturb anybody sleeping.

 

"Why did you follow the crescent group?" she asked, with interest.

[Twig]

Trent woke up. Terra was awake. Meanwhile, Ceodore, Britney, and Lucas were still sleeping. The girl who liked Lucas and the other crazy girl was gone which is good news. He decided he didn't need every crescent marked people he found. Some were just too...crazy.

 

"Hey guys! Wake up! I know where we're going!"

 

Trent grabbed his whistle and blew in it as hard as he could, but no sound came out. It was because the sound wave was so deep, nobody, but whales, could hear.

 

Trent sat down, looked at the sky, and waited for a flying whale to come.

Still in his dream, Ceodore walks around the city in the sky. The city, he could tell, was centuries old. However, it looks so modern. After walking around, he reached the center of the city, where a statue of a beautiful girl lay, broken. The pedistal was still intact, and was inscribed with barely readable print. "C--c-uore?"

 

...singulariter Cuore. The voice still rang in his head, eerie and mysterious.

 

Wake up, guys Trent's voice echoed through the air. Ceodore woke up...

Meanwhile, halfway between Crystal Cavern and our heroes...

 

The girl kept on running, finally able to escape the soldier. Out of breath, she decided to rest in a hollow tree <>. After a few minutes of rest, she hears something out of the ordinary. She looks up, and sees a flying whale. "Wow!" the girl said, despite her fear. She had a strong urge to follow it...

[Twig]

After a few minutes, Trent finally saw a head of a flying whale. It worked! It really worked! Now, how does he tame it again? Oh right, the whistle. Trent clapped his hand once. Then, all the trees at an are fell down. Then, he blew in his whistle in a way that the whale would hear a calming tune. The whale started to lower itself in the space Trent had made.

 

"Come one guys. The Flying Whale is ready."

[Barian Warlord]

Terra looked up first to Trent then to the flying Whale. "...I can't believe that worked, and what are we going to do with a flying whale." "(WHAT IS GOING ON, who rides a flying whale and what are we going to do with it, this makes no sense but I will say this this looks like its going to be a lot of fun.)" "So do we just clime up it or is there something we have to do first, and shouldn't we wake the others up first." Terra stood up and dusted himself off.

Lucas suddenly woke up from his dream and saw Trent and Terra. "Huh, is that a flying whale?!" Lucas exclaimed, showing surprise on his face. He then stood up and went over to the flying whale. "Whoa, this thing is humongous!!!!" Lucas stated as he tried to climb on. After awhile of falling down, Lucas finally got onto the whale. "{Panting} Well that was more work than I expected......" Lucas said tiredly. "Alright then, shouldn't we wake the others up? I'm already on so someone else has to go, I'm not gonna waste more energy." Lucas proclaimed as he tried to adjust his body.

Ceodore wakes up and stands. "Ugh... headache again." He sees the flying whale, then looks to his sleeping friend. "Hey, Trent, do I pick up Britney?" Easy answer. Ceodore didnt wait as he picked up Britney. Oh, gosh, she's heavy he thought, as he brought her to the whale's back.

 

"Umm, Trent, I should tell you something..." Ceodore said, just before he started talking about his dream...

Cuore walked further and finally reached the landing site. She looked on in wonder, and fear. She saw all the crescent marked people, and felt something wierd. Her crescent mark glowed, and, in response, so did everyone else's. Her face was bright enough for the others to see...

[Twig]

Everyone was ready to go. Just to make sure, Trent asked them once more.

 

"Ready guys? Okay."

 

Trent blew on the whistle again. Seconds later, the colossal whale started rising. Then, it reached it's highest point. He saw Wonder Woods in a whole new way. He laughed as he saw Shine Soldiers looking up in surprise. Kids were riding on a Flying Whale. One soldier attempted to shoot us, but we were too high up.

 

"I should probably tell you guys where we're going. We're going to Solidad City, the city that floats on the sea."

[Kaisu]

Art heard the rustle of leaves and he glanced to the side from a tree, as his clothes were again clean, and he saw the colossal whale rising. His jaw fell as he saw several kids around his age riding on it. Ray had seen the same thing and shut one eye, pulling out an arrow to help his sight. The whale was giant but slow, but it's size still made it's rise higher as Art created a white telescope, which he used to gaze at the strange transport.

 

"Reckon we should try catch up to them? I think we could use some wings and catch up..." Art suggested as Ray stood behind him.

 

"No... Head for Shine City. I don't think we should follow them..." Ray replied, but by then they had been fired at by a Shine Soldier, and sighing, they climbed down.

[Jakeronijo]

Tinka pondered this. HE closed his eyes and let his senses take over. He could sense everything around him. Every tree, rock, and person. It was like a sixth sense. They all had their own aura and Tinka could bend that. Though Sideway was behind him, Tinka could sense him as well his aura was stronger than everything else. Tinka pulled at it telepathically. Sideway jerked forward. Then Tinka pulled upward and Sideway floated off the ground. His telepathy held onto the aura within. It was like an extra arm that reached out and picked up anything. Tinka opened his eyes and looked at sideway a few feet off the ground. Tinka smiled as blood began to leak from his nose. Suddenly there was pain in his head and he collapsed to the ground letting Sideway fall as Tinka fell unconcious.

"Oookay then!" Sideway shouted in surprise as he floated in the air. It felt like a hand had softly gripped his soul and pulled at it. He was very confused by the whole thing, at least he was until Tinka turned round. "Oh I see. Very good." He said, and just as he was about to clap he felt the hold on him disappear and he began to fall. Luckily his years in Shine had taught him many things such as the perfect way to jump out of a window and land on your feet without hurting yourself. He looked up and saw that Tinka had collapsed to the floor.

"Hey you okay?" Sideway asked as he shot forward to his side. The kid had a nose bleed, a pretty bad one and he was unconcious. He placed his blade back through his belt and knelt down next to Tinka.

"hmm. Thats probably my fault. Shouldn't have told you what a someone who'd mastered their powers said." Shaking his head Sideway heard a crack as if someone was pushing through the trees. He listened carefully and heard someone shout in the distance.

"That can't be a good thing!"

Cuore looked up as the whale flew away. She had the intense sensation that she needed to follow it. Just then, an arrow of light shot past her head. She turned around to see Shine Soldiers, all pointing their ALSs at her. Startled, she began to run.

 

After a few minutes of running, a shot finally hit her in the arm. She fell down in pain. She looked up and saw two boys getting out of a tree, being fired at by more soldiers. She got up and ran to them. "Please! Help me!" She yelled as she grabbed one of the boys in fear.
