Jane shut her eyes and tried to block out all thoughts of her father. The pain of her past memories was driving her crazy, but yet, she liked the feeling. Running through the woods towards Darklight, she let out a happy sigh, loving every minute of the frenzied action. Her main goal tonight: Destroy Darklight City, her birthplace and her hell. Glancing down at her crescent mark, Jane knew she could do it.

 

Moving her lithe body through the woods like a tigress, Jane saw the dimly lit confines of Darklight City through the treeline. It was time.

 

Unable to control her glee, Jane let out a chilling laugh, throwing her head back, her mark glowing furiously.

She was fast, but Trent saw her. It was the same girl they had met. She was running towards Darklight City.

 

"What is she doing?" Trent whispered, not letting anyone else here. He didn't bother telling the others of what he saw. He thought it was unimportant.

 

Finally, Trent exited Wonder Woods. His eyes closed shut in response to the bright light. For years, he had spent his life under the shade of the tall towering trees. This was a new world.

Ceodore followed the trio cautiously, as they were approaching Darklight City, thousands of questions were flying through his head.

 

...why were they here where are they headed what did they want are they good or bad where did they come from...

 

Finally, he managed to grab one...

 

"Uh.. what are you guys going to Darklight City for?"

[Clair]

Finally, Jane was at the border of Darklight City. She looked around, as if disappointed at the city's dreariness, and streaked off towards the main city hall building, the oak stryucture she had known since childhood. The wood was molding, and Jane simply had to knock the door in, startling the little secretary, who was reading yellowed paperwork by candlelight. Before the lady could react, Jane dashed past her, going up creaky wooden stairs to the mayor's office. It was time for her to have some fun.

 

She knocked politely on the door, and the mayor answered promptly, his bleary eyes staring up at her. Before the startled mayor had a chance to react, Jane closed the door and grabbed his face, making him stare into her icy eyes, which were glowing along with her crescent mark.

 

The mayor's eyes started to glow bright blue, like Jane's. She had complete control.

 

"I want you..." she whispered in her new mind-controlled lackey's ear, "... to make sure no one leaves the city..." She grinned. "Also, order your Shine Soldiers to attack anybody entering or leaving Darklight. It's mine now, and I don't want anybody interfering."

 

She sat down behind the mayor's desk, her legs crossed, as the mayor walked shakily toward his city-wide speaker, under her control.

 

"Attention! The city is now in lockdown mode! No one may leave! Available Shine Soldiers, attack without mercy those who try to enter or leave the city! Repeat..."

 

Jane giggled. Playtime.

 

Her eyes drooped alarmingly, and she groaned. Stupid crescent...

 

She would have to release control of her new toy very soon.

Lucas noticed a figure jumping through the tree line, however, Lucas was not able to see the figure closely enough. "(I wonder what was that just now?)" Lucas thought to himself. He then noticed Trent walking out of Wonder Woods, Lucas quickly followed. "Well, I guess it's time to head out huh?" Lucas asked while staring at the shining stars above. "Beautiful....... isn't it......." Lucas then remembered his home on Keva Island and how everynight he would gazed at the stars. Lucas had never losed sight of finding his father.

He knew they would find themselves in trouble, but he didn't know it would be now.

 

A deafening alarm got everybody in the city to close their ears. Immediately, Shine Soldiers surrounded them.

 

"Something tells me that the girl has something to do with this," Trent said grinning. "If she wants fun, let her have fun."

 

He grabbed all the seeds in his pocket, threw them up in the air, and made them grow to a full grown tree. The trees fell down and acted as a shield. Then, Trent made the leaves from the trees break off and form a tornado like swirl. The tornado of leaves was shredding the Shine Soldiers, but it wasn't enough to kill them.

 

"We need to get out of here. Change of plans: Don't die."

 

Suddenly, an arrow beam burnt threw a tree, but fortunately, it only caught his his hair. Trent used his already burnt hand to get the fire off his hair.

As the tree covered both Trent and Lucas, Lucas use his wind power to maneuver his body out of the bottom of the roots and into the open. As the arrow then hit Trent, Lucas took out his sword and leaped onto the tree, then Lucas leaped towards a Shine Soldier, cutting him and knocking him out.

 

Lucas use this opportunity to blow the leaves off of the tree to create a diversion. "Trent are you alright? We better defeat these soldiers, if not, then we have to escape from them." Lucas proclaimed.

Ceodore stepped back and allowed the others to act. He wasn't good at fighting unless he used his power, but he wasnt sure if using it on his 'friends' was such a good idea. Thats when he saw a light beam burn through Trent's hair. Ceodore knew he had to act.

 

"Trent, um, can I try my powers on you?"

[Clair]

Jane's eyes were closing, so she quickly snapped her fingers.

 

The mayor's neck snapped with her motions, and he fell to the floor with a thud. Jane awoke with new purpose as she lifted her control over the newly created cadaver. Spitting on his face, Jane giggled, sitting the mayor up at his desk as if nothing had happened. A little joke for visitors...

 

She casually took a glance out the cracked window and did a double take. She saw the two boys from the forest earlier, slicing through legions of Shine Soldiers. Jane laughed and sat down on the sill. She was having a good time.

 

There's nothing like a good show... she thought, enjoying the chaos unfolding below her.

"Sure Ceodore, why not? I'm alright Lucas. It just...fried my hair."

 

Trent made more leaves grow and sent them out flying. It was like a blizzard, except the snow were leaves. Then, he saw reinforcements coming. There was at least fifty more soldiers. We're not going to live through this unless...

 

Trent only used this once, and it was an accident. He had discovered a super power of his. He liked to call it Frenzy Plant. He can make any plant life grow huge monstrous vines, but it had a catch. After using it, Trent would faint and sleep for twelve hours. The vines lived forever unless you managed to cut off the bottom of the vine, which was as hard as a rock. It's the only way...

 

Trent clasped his hands together.

 

"Sero of ira vadum orior oriri ortus pro meus eyes," Trent muttered. It was required for him to chant this for the spell to work.

 

The monstrous vines begin rise. Many soldiers started running away. He knew he would kill someone. It was going to be his first murder.

 

The last thing Trent saw before he fainted was a girl watching them through a window.

 

Trent grinned and fell down to the ground. Ceodore, I hope you know what you're doing...

Ceodore knelt down to Trent and lightly touched his hand...

 

"Sorry, but this might sting a little..."

 

Ceodore's hands started to glow. He could feel Trent's energy flowing into him. After a few seconds, Ceodore got up and looked around, having forgotten what happened. He remembered asking Trent for using his power, but thats it. A light arrow just missed Ceodores head. Then he remembered...

 

Trent's spell only killed a few soldiers, but pushed back the rest of them. Ceodore saw the huge vines and got an idea.

 

Ceodore used Trent's powers to twist the vines around the remaining soldiers. After all were trapped he had the vines raise them high enough so that they wont be able to escape without falling to death.

 

Ceodore then felt a little faint. He hadnt used that much power in......ever.

 

Ceodore collapses...

I'll only post on a computer from now on, just, please don't get too far ahead without me, I like to be a part of the action. ;D

Jane looked out the window, laughing childishly. Those two boys were so weak, but yet they had managed to cause enormous carnage and destruction around them. She cackled at the sight of hundreds of dead Shine Soldiers, collapsed roofs under vines, and blood upon the dusty walks where Trent and Ceodere lay.

 

They were certainly good at destroying things, she mused. Maybe they would become her new best friends?

 

Skipping out of the office, leaving the body of the Mayor behind, Jane bumped into the old secretary, who seemed surprised.

 

"Hello, may I-"

 

Before the clerk could finish, Jane shoved her up against the wall, her hands wrapped viciously around her throat. Within seconds, the woman lay dead in her arms. Jane smiled in cold satisfaction. She laid the woman flat on her reception desk

 

I have other friends to play with...

 

She blew a kiss to the dead secretary as she pushed open the city hall doors.

After both Trent and Ceodore collapsed, Lucas was left to fight off another batch of ten Shine Soldiers. "C'mon! Really you guys!" Lucas exclaimed as he looked at both Trent and Ceodore. "Alright then, guess I'll have to do this myself!" Lucas yelled as he leaped up into the air. The wind circling around his blade became even larger and faster. The Shine Soldiers fired a barrage of arrows all at once towards Lucas. "Here I go!!!!" Lucas yelled as he slash his sword forward, causing a medium-size tornado to form that finished off the rest of the Shine Soldiers. Lucas then fell back down to the ground and ran over to Trent and Ceodore. "Ah, c'mon you guys wake up!" Lucas exclaimed. Lucas then covered his hands with wind and started to lightly slapped both of them. "Sorry about this you guys." Lucas said.

Sorry I've been gone so long. Im going to have to read all the otherposts eventually but for now im just going to post

 

IC: Tinka nodded in understanding. "Well then what do we do till then. We should probably get out of here. I need to train. My abilities are relatively weak and I can't even fly myself, much less bpth opf us anywhere, we almost died out there in the water because I'm so weak. Tinka mentally kicked himself in the head, and that can heart if you have Psychic abilities. He sat on the ground and looked ahead. I need to find the extent of these abilities. He unwilllingly projected to all around him mentally, so much that squirrels lost their footing hearing his thoughts. There was a few boulders up ahead and Tinka focused. HE could lift small rocks. He put out his hand and three rose and twireled around in the air as if being juggled.

Sideway stood up and replaced his shirt and coat, putting the sewing kit back into his pocket.

"Definatley, half an hour can go pretty fast." He told Tinka. Pulling a little bit of slack from his belt he put the crystal blade through it to the hilt. He heard the kid speak and turned his head, but the boys lips weren't moving. "Your power doesn't seem that weak, you just need to learn how to harness it." He saw the stones moving in the air.

"Yeh I reckon that you've got alot of potential, but for now lets get moving. Put as much space between us and those soldiers. The question now though is where do we go?"

[Clair]

Jane pushed down the rotting door and looked over to the post-battle scene. To her delight, she saw the crescent-marked boy she had kissed earlier. She then noticed him standing over two of his fallen comrades. Giggling, Jane ran over to the scene.

 

She would have Lucas all to herself now... Yes... he would be her new toy.

 

Catching Lucas's eye, she winked and started towards him, her hair blowing in the dusty breeze of Darklight.

As Lucas continued to try and wake Trent and Ceodore up, the girl who kissed him earlier appeared and walked towards him. "C'mon you guys, get up!" Lucas yelled loudly to try to wake them up, he then noticed the girl walking towards him, so he stood up from the ground. "Huh, hey it's you." Lucas said surprisingly. "You're that girl from earlier. Uh, what are you doing here? It's dangerous here, you can get hurt." Lucas explained concerningly. "Oh right, can you help me wake my friends up." Lucas said as he kneeled down again, taking his attention away from her.

[Clair]

Jane licked her lips. He looked so much better up close....

 

Upon hearing his plea, she grabbed his arm and yanked him roughly to his feet, pulling him into a tight hug.

 

"Shhh. We don't need to worry about them, now do we? And you don't need to worry about Shine Soldiers. They don't stand a chance against me, and I'll protect you."

 

"You should come with me, Lucas..." she hissed, her bright blue eyes flashing. She kissed his neck and giggled, slowly tugging him away from those other boys.

Lucas was growing more concern about Trent and Ceodore. "(Damn it! If I can't wake them up and then more Shine Soldiers arrive, then I'm done for....... I won't be able to protect them and fight at the same time....... And there's also this girl, I can't let anybody get hurt!)" Lucas concerningly thought to himself. The girl then pulled him up from his feet and into a tight hug. Lucas began to blush, and at the same time confused about what's happening. "(Uh, wha-what is she doing?)" Lucas thought to himself as her bright blue eyes flashed before him in a way that resembles gems shining brilliantly. Lucas then felt paralyzed. "(Ugh....... what's happening to me.......... Trent, Ceodore.......... I can't leave them here........ but I can't move my body.....)" Lucas thought to himself as he was being pulled away.

[Twig]

Trent woke up, in the middle of Wonder Woods. Oh, it's this dream again. He wasn't really awake, but he was awake in his dream.

 

Trent has had this dream countless times. It was an odd dream. It was nighttime in this dream, and the stars twinkled brightly. He was surrounded by tall trees that blocked him from going anywhere. All he could do was walk around the circle. Trent has always wondered why he kept getting this dream. He tried moving the trees away, but he was powerless in this dream. He didn't have his crescent mark.

 

Trent sat down, waiting for this dream to end. He hoped nothing bad happened while he was asleep.

[Clair]

Jane giggled as she dragged her new toy around the corner. They were going to have some fun now...

 

Tugging Lucas into a dark alleyway, Jane stood her new toy upright against the wall and kissed him deeply. Backing away, eyes flashing furiously, she whispered playfully in his ear.

 

"Hey, Lucas... wanna play my favorite game?"

 

She turned him around, making him look at the unconcious Trent and Caedor.

 

"My favorite game is called Betrayal..." She giggled and pushed Lucas towards his friends.

 

"It's easy. Just kill someone you like."

 

She blew a kiss at him from the darkness of the alleyway, urging him onwards with her blue eyes.

"(Ugh........... I've gotta move my body.........)" Lucas thought to himself as he was dragged into a dark alleyway. "(This girl........ can she control me?)" Lucas thought as he tried desperately to move his body but to no avail. The girl then leaned Lucas against the wall a kissed him deeply. "(Wha-what is she doing?)" Lucas thought surprisingly. She then whispered into Lucas' ear a game she would like to play. "(What?! Betrayal?!)" Lucas thought as she pushed him towards Trent and Ceodore. The girl then explained her game, and Lucas' eyes flashed with shock. "(Why is she doing this?! I have to move........ MY BODY!!!!)" Lucas thought as he was able to slowly move his arms and legs. The way Lucas was moving, seemed like he was under intense pressure.

[Twig]

Trent looked at the night sky. It was beautiful. The sparkling stars, the dark blue background, the shining crescent...Wait what? Shining crescent? That wasn't there before...

 

Suddenly, Trent's right shoulder started hurting. Then, it started glowing brightly. It was just like when he was ten...He's getting a crescent mark in his dream. In a few minutes, the bright flashing and the immense pain went away. Trent looked at his right shoulder. Sure enough, it was there. The brightly glowing crescent mark.

 

Wait, then this means...I can move the trees.

 

Trent stood up, both excited and scared of what he'll find behind the trees.

[Clair]

Jane glared at Lucas. Why wasn't he doing what she told him to do? Disobidient brat...

 

"What's the matter, Lucas? Don't you want to play with me?" she crooned innocently, her bright eyes still glowing.

 

"Come on, just one round?"

 

Sneering, Jane jabbed her finger in the direction of Lucas, intending to push him forward painfully. That would give her new toy some extra motivation...

 

Suddenly, she was struggling to stay awake. Mantaining her focus on Lucas, she groaned disappointedly. It was almost time for her game to end.

"AHHHH!!!!!!!!" Lucas yelled out as his body moved painfully in the opposite direction of where Lucas was heading. "Ugh......... damn it........" Lucas was in serious pain, his body felt like it was being impaled by knives. "Ugh.......... C'mon wind, help me HERE!!!!" Lucas yelled loudly as a small ball of wind formed in the atmosphere and launched towards the girl. "(Ugh.......... whatever she wants me to do, I cannot let her! I won't let her hurt my friends!!!)" Lucas thought to himself as he was still struggling on the floor.
