Rise of the Crescents [Accepting/Started]

Trent heard Britney's call and even an echo, which meant she was close.

 

"Britney, where are you? I need to ask you something."

 

He'll have to find Sean, Lucas, Britney, and that girl. If the they don't like his plan, then he'll have to search other crescent-marked people elsewhere. Those Shine Soldiers won't get away with everything they have done. It's time for the rise of the crescents.

Everyone must read this!:

The war has become more intense. More and more rebels are appearing, that means there's two times the number of Shine Soldiers, but the Shine Army also reveals new weapons and secrets. The real war has begun.

"Of course you can Trent, Tell me anything that you want cause im all eyes and ears for you" . Britney said as she leaned next to a tree that was near Trent. And im also listening through my mind so that way i wont forget either way so if i do forget i will remember it cause im talking with my mind so what you say will be in my mind and i wont forget it so whatever . Britney said though her mind and she sat down, leaning her back against a tree trunk with her legs outstretched.

Sideway closed his eyes as he realised that the fall would probably finish him.Maybe my skills aren't the best? He thought to himself, but felt something grab his wrist. It slowed his fall, but unfortunatley didn't stop him. Then, suddenly he heard a loud splash, followed by a feeling of close water surrounding him. Then he heard a second splash and the cold water shocked him into opening his eyes.

There was another person in the water with him, and alot of Shine Soldiers gathering above them on the wall.

"No one knows I have a cresent mark," said Mango; she had followed Trent to the den once she had collected her mangos - she had been gone moments before Jane had found the tree - and was now cuddling them like it was a child. "I've got what you might say is a peculiar power; you saw for yourself what I could do." Or did you?

 

The attack had happened next, and Mango had been confused as to what had happened. When she next became aware of her surroundings, she was ... definately somewhere. She could vaguely see Trent, and stumbled her way over. "Woah, what happened? And what's your name?"

*After the battle*

 

"My name is Trent. What's your name? I don't see much crescent-marked around here, but recently, I've been meeting more and more. You're the third person I met who has a crescent-mark."

 

*Fast-forward to current time*

 

"Britney, I'm planning to help out in the war, but I need some help. Can you get the others to come?"

 

He didn't really have a big, straightforward plan. Killing a bunch of soldiers wasn't going to satisfy him. So, he planned to invade Shine City, the capital of Cristal. It was a crazy plan, but maybe it's crazy enough to work. They won't expect a little kid to suddenly cause mass chaos, would they?

Lucas was traveling to where Trent was. When he arrived, he saw both Trent and Britney. "Huh, hey you guys!" Lucas exclaimed as he ran over to them. "So what are you guys talking about?" Lucas asked.

 

"Lucas then turned around and started to look at the bushes. He then turned around again. "Sorry you guys, I was checking to see if any Shine Soldiers were hiding to attempt a sneak attack. So anyways, what's going on?" Lucas asked curiously.

"Shoot" Tinka said. Good thing I snagged this. THere was a pop and sizle and steam burst out from around him. "Hey, do you have any weapons?" He asked as he pulled out a staff. It shifted into a sort of blaster but it looked wooden, It was also on fire. Tinka shot a few blasts. "We have to get out of here." He said. He read the minds of a guard and told him to hit the guy next to him. Without resisting he hit him in the back. The other guys turned on the one Tinka was sending thoughts to as a huge fireball exploded on the edge. Tinka looked at the other guy. "Whats your power?" He asked the boy he saved. Shadow MAnipulation. Tinka got from him. Cool, so he needs shadows, I can do that. THe weapon in his hand shot a fireball that cast shadows under the guards feet.

Sidway didn't believe it. That fall should've killed him, or at the very least severly injured him. And yet here he was in the water, with his only injuries being the pierced shoulder from the ALS. The kid that had saved him somewhow, was fighting the Shine soldiers up above them with some sort of energy weapon. He heard the kids question.

"My power? How do you know..." But he trailed off as he saw the kid shot a bolt of shadow at the guards. Sideway looked at the sky, the sun was too bright for him to do any real damage, so he simply pushed them away form the edge.

"Quick. This way!" He shouted to the kid as he swam away into the weak shadow of a tree. It wasn't that dark, but it should be deep enough for them to get away if he pulled them both through it. The kid came with him and Sideway grabbed his arm, using his shadow power to take them through the trees to the other side, safe from the Shine Soldiers.

OoC: you don't really need darkness for there to be shadows, shadows apppear when light is blocked not when it is absent, so there should be shadows there, depending on the placement of the sun, but whatever i wont argue. and that was borderline godmodding maybe Tinka didn't want to go with you... Oh and thats a typo, i meant to say it cast shadows not shot them.

 

IC: Tinka was flabbergasted. THey had just traveled through a tree. How? Tinka sent as a thought. Tinka understood and stopped asking as the answer flew through Sideway's mind. Name he sent again. Sideway, cool name. He thought to himself. "The Names Tinka, and maybe you already guessed, well you were close..." Tinka stated as fact. "...to figuring out that I am a telepath. I stopped your fall with telekenisis which is my secondary ability." Tinka spoke out loud for the first time since they got out of the water. He felt dizzy but tried to stand up straight. The water had jostled him out of unconsiousness but he still needed to rest. "So do you live around here?" Tinka asked out loud since he was too tired to pry the information from Sideway's head.

Name/Age/Gender: Ceodore (pronounced: sē`-ō-dōr)/17/Male

[spoiler=[b]Appearance:[/b]]

 

Personality: Loner and protective, yet very kind-hearted. He would try to keep from making contact with anyone, but if someone's life was in danger (except for a hunter's, of course) he would save them. He is also very forgiving.

Bio: He has incredibly little memory of his past life; however, it is coming back slowly. What he does know is that he was born in a shining city (which he believes to be Shine City) to an incredibly beautiful woman. Sometime when he was 13, he touched a young girl, and she died almost instantly. After this moment, he remembers nothing. He eventually was able to take control of his powers, though, and he currently lives in a Cavern lined completely with Crystals (appropriately named Crystal Cavern) deep within a forest.

Power: He has the power to steal the health, the abilities (and, for people marked, their powers temporarily) of any living organism. Although, the more he uses this power, the more of his memory is erased. The cresent mark is located on the palm of his hand (fortunately covered by the glove).

[spoiler=[b]RP example:[/b]] Ceodore left the cavern early in the morning, as usual, to go find food. He started walking, when suddenly, a small monkey plopped down in front of him. It looked so cute to him...

 

...and useful.

 

Ceodore gently picked up the monkey. His hands started to glow. The monkey shrieked and ran off, scared.

 

Where the heck did that monkey come from? Ceodore thought to himself. Just then, his arms became slightly longer, and he grew a tail. Ooh I see what I did...

 

Ceodore jumped up to one of the many trees around him, grabbed on to one of the higher branches with his tail, and started to pick fruit. That's when he saw a dragon landing in a clearing not far from where he was.

 

Hmmm... I wonder...

This whole revenge thing was easier said than done. He still didn't have a thorough plan, but he thought he'll think of one soon. He just needs to get to Shine City, but the capital city is from here. I know! When Trent was nine, he met some friendly animals. They looked like dogs, but with a lot more hair. There were also bigger than most dogs. Furbeasts, the name of the animals, were friendly creatures who had let Trent ride on them. Maybe if he could find them again, but he hasn't seen a furbeast since last month.

 

"Britney, I need you to do one more thing..."

"A war? Huh, interesting. Of course I'll join! Those Shine Soldiers deserve it! Most of us never harmed anyone, but because of some individuals that commited crimes, we are now labeled criminals as well! That just ticks me off!!!!" Lucas exclaimed angrily. "And about the Furbeasts. They are gentle creatures, but we better watch out for Arkolves." Arkolves are large wolf-like creatures that hunt in packs at night. They usually will eat anything they can get the large jaws on.

 

"Also, getting to Shine City is not a walk in the park either. There's a huge desert in the middle of the path towards the city. We should probably stop at some other major cities closeby for equipment." Lucas proclaimed.

[Twig]

"Let's hope we could find Furbeasts. Or maybe a Flying Whale, but that's pushing it. Darklight City is nearby. We have to be careful though. There's more soldiers in cities than there is in the woods. Wait, I don't have any money? How are we going to buy equipment?"

 

Trent was glad Lucas decided to join. Now if only the others will join. And he still has to work out the plan when they reach Shine City. Shine City probably has a Shine Soldier at every corner. It's gonna take more than a few kids to cause damage, let alone mass chaos. There must be something that breaks unbreakable glass.

[Clair]

Jane was walking, not really knowing where she was going. All she knew was that there were trees and lush forest surrounding her.

 

Using her whip to slash through the bramble, she stumbled onto a dirt path. Grabbing at a tree, Jane froze mid-step.

 

There, in front of her, was a small group of people, all excitedly talking over something. Jane clearly saw a crescent mark upon one of them. Nervously, she looked at her shoulder.

 

I thought I was the only one who had this thing.

 

She hid behind a large oak and watched the motley crew retreat away from her, towards a city that seemed to radiate darkness.

 

Darklight City. Jane's hometown.

Ceodore decides its time to go explore the area around Crystal Cavern. After a few hours of exploring, he comes across something he could have never guessed to see.

 

People.

 

Ceodore quickly climbs up the tree next to him. He look down to see a small group of people talking. They are not dressed like soldiers... he thinks to himself. Realizing he might be seen, he is about to jump down and run, until he sees a chamelion. He grabs it and his hands start to glow.

 

Unfortunately, Ceodore forgets what he is hiding from, but quickly remembers by looking down. He then camouflages himself with the scenery.

 

He looks down, waiting to see what the strange people do next....

Britney turned to the oak tree that Jane was hiding behind. "Guys someone's behind that tree, i can feel their mind" . Britney said as she took one step forward towards the tree. Come outta the tree and i promise we wont kill you, we just wanna know if your friend or foe cause if your foe we will kill you and i will laugh so please just come out and we promise we wont hurt you.... or at least they won't . Britney thought calmly in an enchanting voice into Jane's mind. She took another step forward so if Jane decided to attack Britney could get at her first.

[Clair]

Jane felt a strange fuzziness enter her mind as the girl approached.

 

She has telekinetic powers as well?

 

She giggled softly. She liked this game that the new stranger had decided to play, and decided to play along.

 

Jane silently answered the girl through her mind, her mark and eyes shining an eerie blue.

 

Do you like killing too, Britney?

 

I always kill for fun... we have so much in common!

 

EDIT: I don't wanna be fired at, Atman.

 

There's no soldiers yet, so stop godmodding.

The girl can read minds? Ceodore thought to himself. Oh, maybe if I stop thinking..

 

Ceodore remained quiet, listening intently on their conversation...

 

EDIT: Ceodore is in the tree above Jane, that Twig is controlling.

Trent had heard a giggle. Britney was right. Someone was behind a tree. A Shine Soldier? A spy? Who could it be? There was only one way to find out. If someone really was there, they would be trapped. Slowly and quietly, he made the branches around the person longer. He was careful not to make it noticeable. Once the branches are long enough, I can make it constrict the person around the tree.

 

Just a few more inches...

 

The branch was ready to tie the person up around the tree.

 

This will only hurt for a second.

Seeing as Britney wasn't responding, Jane quickly grew bored of their game. Her eyes fading back to normal, she turned around at a small creaking noise, and saw the branches of the tree she was standing under grow longer, as if to pluck her off the ground or grab her. Letting out another giggle, Jane gazed up at the tree, slowly backing away into the brush again.

 

Naughty, naughty tree...

 

Focusing her mind-bending powers on the tree, she snapped her fingers, the mark on her shoulder glowing fiercely.

 

With a snap of Jane's fingers, the trunk of the tree started to crack, and the whole arboreal structure began to topple downwards toward the crew.

 

Letting out a laugh, Jane stumbled back into the brush, where she fell over exhausted.

 

Stupid Mark tiring me out... that's no fun...

As Lucas was talking to Trent, Britney yelled out that she had found someone. Just then, Lucas heard a giggle from a female voice. "Huh, what the heck?! Hey who's there?!" Lucas yelled demandingly. "Whoever's there better come out of hiding!" Lucas exclaimed as he gripped his sword handle. A gust of wind then starting to cover Lucas' blade and then rotated quickly. "(Whoever's there, I have to be ready for anything. Hope is not a Shine Soldier....... or worse............)" Lucas thought to himself as he became increasingly nervous.

Ceodore screams, as he starts to fall out of the tree. He falls on the ground hard, spraining his arm; the tree landing just next to him. He quickly grabs the tree. His hands start to glow. He sucks out what little health the tree had left. The sprain heals.

WHy yes i do love killing in-fact its a very fun pastime and who knows you just might be my very next victim . Britney thought to Jane with a very innocent tone to her voice. She had just easily walked out of the path of the falling tree and smirked happily at Jane as she saw Jane on the ground. "Now this makes it very interesting" . Britney hissed with joy as she leaned next to Jane. Look who's my next victim, it looks like you so bye bye . Britney thought to Jane in a joyous and happy tone, Like a child opening gifts on christmas.

Jane looked blearily up at Britney, her eyes twinkling under the setting sun.

 

Using the last of her crescent powers, she once again connected to Britney's mind.

 

You remind me of myself! She giggled, and an evil look came over her eyes, sadism clouding her pale skin.

 

I'm so glad you like to kill, Britney! She paused for a second, looking over at Ceodore on the ground, with a disdained look upon her face.

 

Do you like boys, Britney?

Personally, I hate all of them. They remind me of my father...

 

She spat in the direction of Ceodore and Trent and smiled up at Britney.

 

Go ahead, and kill the only other girl you know with a crescent mark, then.
