Rise of the Crescents [Accepting/Started]

In Galdavan City, Lucas was getting ready to kill Trent. Trent then used the branches to push Lucas back. Lucas didn't moved out of the way, instead, Lucas stand there as the branches got closer to him. As they made impact, the branches were able to move Lucas back quite a distance before they were blown completely away by a strong wind current. The wind current of course was not a natural one due to its black coloring. Lucas quickly disappeared and reappeared in front of Trent again as he swung his sword towards Trent with great speed.

 

Inside the void, Lucas was feeling confused and even more hatred began to build up inside of him. However, Lucas realized something. "You're wrong......" "What?" "They're not against me, they're my friends, more than that, they're my family." "Family? Don't make me laugh Lucas, they're using you." "No, I made my own decision to join them, and it's because I felt lonely. But they gave me a place where I can feel involve. So that's why I'm not listening to you anymore." Lucas stated.

 

Outside, Lucas' sword made his way closer to Trent, but then it suddenly stopped. A voice then was let out of Lucas. "Trent..... the black sphere on my chest...... destroy it now....." Lucas muttered as he tried to keep himself from killing Trent.

[Twig]

Trent was confused. How did the monster know his name? And why did it stop killing him? He body didn't move for a second, but he did what the monster told him. He made a branch shoot straight for sphere. As the branch moved close, it's tip shaped into a cone, making the peak a sharp point. The branch stopped abruptly when it broke the dark sphere. Trent didn't know what to say, do, or think. What was going to happen? What has been happening? What has happened? He stood, not moving a muscle.

As the black sphere was destroyed, Lucas stumbled backwards slowly as his eyes widened. He then let out a huge scream. "AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!" With that, Lucas' other eye became normal as well as with the black liquid also disappearing. His long hair receded into its regular appearance as well as the rest of Lucas. Lucas' face now seemed tired, but he had a sincere smile as he fell face first onto the surface. The smile was still on Lucas' face as he was unconcious.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

At the main headquarters of the Shine Army in Shine City. A commander was walking through the halls of the base. He was the commander of the Shine Navy and has just gotten back from Soladad City where he was investigating the appearances of crescent-marked people. He had a nametag that said Commander Sarz. He was carrying a huge cutlass on his right waist. The right side of his chest showed veins and arteries surrounding something that wasn't visible due to his clothing.

 

OOC: He's not the one who's going to appear at Arcemeis.

Ray pulled his knife out of the soldier's chest before throwing it onto the ground. A quick arrow aimed at another Shine Soldier sent the Spell Ring down, removing the barrier. The two flew to Lucas. "So, Rawr, where you been" Art joked as Ray gazed around.

 

"We should get out of here before the Shine Soldiers come back..." Ray muttured. He looked down at Ceodore. There were several scratches on his forehead, and someone was nearby.

Perrin /21 / Male

 

Appearence:

Perrin is 6'2". he has gold colored eyes, jet black hair with strips of crimson (one side covers left half of the face the right half spiked 3"), Normally wears a charcoal grayshirt under a unbuttoned black jacket (with collar that reachs his chin), black jeans, Leather boots. He usually wears leather bracers on his hands/wrists. His right eye tends to twitch when he feels annoyed. He usually carries several throwing knives with him at all times. He also carries a 5" long Dagger, and a 6" long Khukuri. His Crescent mark is located to over his left eye.

 

Personality:

Perrin is a silent stealthy person. He tends to "mask" his real emotions around other people. At times he is kind, at other times he is cruel and unrelenting. He is intelligent, and usually quickly notices another person's weakness. He is not easily tricked or fooled.

 

Bio:

Perrin has no idea what his life was like before the war. He suffers form amnesia. Perrin searchs for answers about his past and who he really is. He constantly travels never staying in the same village for more than a month.

 

Power:

Perrin has the ability to blend in and control the shadows around him. He can turn the darkness into powerful apparitions, or even into powerful blasts of energy. There is however a slight drawback to his abilities. The longer he uses his powers, the harder it is for him to control them. If he uses them for too long, his primitive instincts take over him and he strikes out at everything around him until he faints from exhaustion. when he wakes he has no memory of what happened after he lost control.

Aurora glanced at the fragments of the now broken black sphere. Maybe the others didn't see, but it still emitted that evil glow, the deadly feeling. She ran up and scooped up the pieces, but still had her eye on Ceodore, waiting for him to reawaken. The pieces, when picked up by Aurora, instantly turned white, and seeped into her skin on her hand. She didn't feel anything wrong happening to her, so she decided to keep it there. It seeped all the way in this time, until the pieces were now part of her. Aurora wiggled her fingers to make sure they were still under her control, and pointed at Ceodore.

 

"Please, get him to safety. He is having a nightmare of sorts, and should not be disturbed." Aurora muttered silently. She didn't know everyone else didn't see what she saw, so she said it casually, as if nothing was wrong.

Ray watched the girl/boy(Not sure =\) pick up the peices.

 

"Right... Art?" He called, and Art frowned for a moment, thinking. He soon closed his eyes, imagining a large pegasus.

 

"So, who exactly are you?" Ray questioned, trying not to reach inside his cloak like he always did. It was a habit he had to break. He spun around, his cloak loose and falling to the ground with silver, iron and wood hitting the ground as a wave of black liquid flew out of Art's hands. His gloves burnt away and his skin, white and wrinkled, began to grow hot and cold at the same time. Art drew his sword, wincing at his skin's sudden exposure as he began to sketch a box around the acid with his marked hand. The mark's mellow aura flowed into his sword. Ray grunted as his and his wings tried to support the fainted Ceodore. The acid was burning away into the ground, drawing out more of itself. It reflected no light, a strange substance that could eat away at anything.

 

"Run!" Ray screamed, losing his mind for the first time.

Sideway shook his head at everything. The soldiers shouldn't be killed or beaten in this situation, if they had weapons then they could have helped. These people were crazy the one he talked to, Ceodore, jumped in front of the monster and was dieing another created useless trees that couldn't stop the creature. Of course that was until a branch snapped into the chest of the thing.

 

As Sideway watched the creature changed its body became less beastly and more human. Until it changed into a boy and fell to the ground.

 

"OKAY WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED?" He shouted to the others.

[Kaisu]

Ray, slinging Lucas onto his back, reached for an arrow, loading it as he aimed at a rectile Art was drawing with his sword. It was shining a bright white, cutting through the acid as Ray's arrow shot out, the acid folding over it, leaving some remains. They grew as well. Art was hacking away at it until he decided he should get the crescents out of the area for now.

 

"Get out of here!" Art shouted as he and Ray supported Lucas's limp body together. "And don't touch that stuff!" They hovered as a spring burst out of the ground.

 

I.... I couldn't do it...

 

Why couldn't I have perished it? I had always done it before... Whenever Art made a mistake... Why!?

IC: Lucas awoke in Arcemeis again, in the same garden field as before. "Huh? I'm back here again..... What happened to that black void, and that voice..... it sounded sorta like my voice..... {Sigh} Things just keep getting more complicated as we move along...." Lucas stated to himself as he stood up from the ground and began to look around the area. The wind currents were blowing peacefully again. Lucas was glad that he wasn't inside that void, but he was also curious about it. The feeling of sorrow and hatred were now gone from Lucas' heart. He felt normal again. Lucas closed his eyes to try and remember what had happened when he was still awake, but all he remembered was that black orb.

 

"Could that have something to do with the void? It's likely....." Lucas stated. As he opened his eyes, he saw what appears to be giant white bipedal sloths roaming the field slowly, picking up and eating grass. "Huh? What the heck are those things?" Lucas wondered as he continued to watch their actions. One of them turned to Lucas and yawned, opening its wide mouth and showing large fangs. As it closed its mouth it slowly blinked and turned its attention back to the grass.

Ceodore was trying to wrap his mind around what Chaos said unsuccessfully. He couldn't believe it. Luna was the Goddess of the Moon. Ceodore started making sense of everything, except one thing. "Chaos, what are you doing in this war?"

 

Suddenly, the area began to shake as if a tremor was occuring. The flames were turning blue. Chaos grabbed his head in pain. "What's happening?!" Ceodore screamed, when Luna's voice echoed through the air. Licentia lemma unus!

 

"Nusquam!" Chaos said in responce. Suddenly, Chaos caught fire, and disappeared. The area faded to black, and Ceodore found himself at the city in the sky like in his previous visions.

 

"Here again?" he said, as he walked around. He went back to Cuore's broken statue. It kinda does look like her, except older. "So, this is where Cuore finds her crystal..." he said.

 

"I wonder if she sees where to find mine..."

Gawain looked at Gauge oddly, "I guess your skin is tough, because that should have burnt right through you.... then again it's effect was worn down a bit as it had been sitting around before you landed in it. I just hope you never get caught in my demon's teeth. His teeth can even cut itself." Gawain relaxed and looked at the sky, "The truth is that I'm taking you all home.....home..... it's good to ba able to say that word again....." A smile appeared on Gawain's face as he looked at the sky.

Trent was surprised to see the monster "melt" away. He was even more surprised to see Lucas inside of what once was the monster. He started shaking his body, trying to wake him up.

 

"Wake up Lucas! What happened?!"

 

It was no use. Lucas was unconscious. He looked around. The damage he had done was tremendous. People were starting to come out of their hiding places. Then, a crowd formed around him and Lucas.

 

"Back away! Back away!" the soldiers shouted. They broke up the crowd, and put Trent's hands in handcuffs.

 

"Hey! What are you doing?!" Trent shouted.

 

"Relax, kid. You have some questions to answer. I'm going to say sorry in advance," the soldier said.

 

"Wait what?"

 

The soldier took out some kind of tube with a sharp needle and poked him with it. It hurt, but soon, he felt drowsy.

Gauge stared at Gawain as he looked up into the sky. "Home......." Gauge said quietly as he tried to remember his childhood yet nothing comes to mind. "I've never known my home......." Gauge stared up at the sky as well. "Home...... that's a word I rarely use......." Gauge's face showed a confident smile as he looked at Gawain. "Yeah, that sounds good. Let's go home....." Gauge stated with a smile.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

As the sloth continued to eat the grass, Lucas walked towards them cautiously. "I wonder what these things are? They look awesome though, especially their big fangs hehe!" Lucas stated happily as he watched them slowly eat. The sloths didn't seem to mind Lucas at all, instead, some of them even came up to Lucas and sniff his hands and body, looking for grass. "Hehe, uh sorry, I don't have any food." Lucas stated.

[spoiler=Cuore's Half: Part 1]Cuore made the connection with Tinka and Jane, but something was wrong. Instead of being in Jane's mind, she was in some sort of temple. "Where am I?" She explored a little, and found that there was no one around. Whoever was here, though, really worshipped the Goddess of the Moon. Looking for an exit, she found a huge wooden double doors. She opened it and...fell??? She quickly grabbed the floor of the floating temple. There was no floor anywhere outside the temple. The entire outside was pretty dark, except for the night sky and the moon... but... it looked weird. It was blue-er and with some green spots, and a few clou---"

 

"CRISTAL?!?!?!?!?!?!?" Cuore screamed, shocked that she was off the planet. Thinking logically, she looked down, and found the building, not floating, but at the edge of a high wall, part of a crater. She was on the moon. She pulls herself up and explores again. She then realizes, that no one actually lived here. It was completely devoid of signs of life. Upon further inspection, she finds a pedastal missing a statue. On the pedastal is the name "Ceodore".

 

[spoiler=Ceodore's Half: Part 1]Ceodore walked around the city a little more. He still doesnt know the name of the city. He decides to see if he can leave. After searching a few buildings, he finds another book, similar to Trent's portal book. He opens it, and a huge blue/red dragon with wings flies out of it. "Oh my gawd." Ceodore says, frozen in fear. The dragon turned around, and roared at him coersively (spelling?). Ceodore doesn't knows what to do. So he runs.

 

After running for about a minute, he realizes he wasn't being followed. He cautiously walks back. The dragon is simply floating there, staring at Ceodore. Ceodore slowly walks to the book which he dropped. He picks it up and reads:

 

Adversus Vires or more commonly known as the Coldfire Dragon

 

-Controls either Fire or Ice, depending on dominant skin hue.

-Can change power and skin color at will.

-Is very loyal to the summoner.

 

Ceodore looks back up to the dragon. Its skin was red with a hint of blue. It is still staring at him, hovering. "Uhh.." he said to the beast "...let me ride you?" The dragon lands, walks (or crawls? technically?) over to it's master, and kneels low enough for Ceodore to get on...

 

[Jakeronijo]

Tinka stood behind a pedestal near Ceodore's statue, or at least where it was. Cuore looked confused. He hid looking at everything she was looking at. He didn't know if he should say anything or stay hidden. He was just as confused as she was. There was a strong wind that almost knocked Tinka off balance. But he kept his footing.

 

Alex flew low along the banks of the laughing creek in the wavering woods. the wind always made the trees shiver a bit more when he was around. the shine shoulders had died down a bit since a telepath had been through here, and for that, Alex was thankful. He hated to hurt people if it could be helped and so he flew on, looking for more crescents.
