Rise of the Crescents [Accepting/Started]

Tinka blinked and looked up. "Whoa, you can do that." he asked touching his nose. He was fine and his brain didn't hurt anymore. In fact he felt alot better. He stood up and rose off the ground. He could control his powers alot better now that his headache was gone. "Thanks." He said touching down. Then he looked at the new river. "I wonder where that is going to flow to..." Tinka said looking over. Tinka knealt down. He trapped Jane in her body in a sort of sleeplike paralysis. She was still concious but she couldn't move. Tinka connected Coure's midn to his and Jane's so she could search with Tinka. Okay, who was that and what happened just now? He asked telepathically, who is Razor and why did you try to kill coure?

[Twig]

More Shine Soldiers appeared. Trent dropped the flowers to the ground. He then put his hands out as if he was commanding an army to attack. The vines of the flowers started rapidly growing. Some went after Shine Soldiers. Some went after the odd beast. The flower lady stopped, surprised by what she was seeing. She then felt the need to help. She brought out more of her flowers.

 

"Thanks," Trent said.

 

Scientists no longer were bothered by the monster. They were too busy taking notes on how my powers work. More scientists moved towards me.

 

"Back away! I might accidentally hurt you!" Trent shouted.

 

The scientists didn't listen.

Ceodore saw the scientist were starting to crowd around Trent. So he used the last few seconds with Lucas's powers to blow them back out of the barrier. "Hey, Trent! I have an idea! First, lets get rid of these Soldiers." Ceodord used the last of Lucas's powers to blow some of the Soldiers into the air so they would fall to their deaths. When Lucas's powers had left his system, he then decided to use some portals. He pointed to the top of a tall building that was not destroyed yet and made a blue portal. He then pointed to underneath a soldier and made an orange portal (you can get an idea of what happened). He continued this tactic...

 

--Meanwhile--

 

Cuore tried to see if Jane would respond, but she didnt. So, she made use of the link and projected herself into Jane's subconscious...

[Altαir]

"Hmmm..." Aurora looked intently at the water. Maybe if she dipped her whole self in...

 

She took a breathing sigh, as if she knew what was going to happen next. She looked around the place again, but now with more amazement and curiosity, noting the small patch of trees across the water from her, and also noting the somewhat small plattform in the middle of the lake. She figured that it was important, or it wouldn't be there. Being that it was important, there might be barriers, shields meant maybe to hurt something more powerful than she was, meaning insta-death for her. She had to be careful, nothing here felt right.

 

She then looked back, and a thought struck her mind when she saw the undisturbed grass behind her.

 

"This place has been untouched..." she whispered sofly, a secret to be held in no one's ear, "This place has never been visited... or is it made to look that way?" She knew she treaded on that patch of grass coming to the water, and it should still be a little messed up. But it was perfectly fine, just as she found it before treading on it.

 

"Where am I?" she somewhat yelled only to herself. And her answer was complete silence, followed by a shight push straight into the water. Too stunned, she didn't say a word as she fell face-first into the water and blacked out, but only for a second.

 

Next thing she knew she was in what she knew as a city.

OOC: Umm, actually you guys those were Galdavan's Soldiers that just protected that city. They weren't against any crescents and actually were very accepting of them, so don't kill them off, they were trying to help. And if the Shine Soldiers are different soldiers than the ones mentioned, then kill them off.

 

IC: Lucas continued his rampage throughout the city streets inside the barrier. After Lucas had finished destroying every building within the barrier, he turned his attention towards the the numerous people gathered around the barrier. "RAWR!!!!!!!!" Lucas roared again as the ground below him shook furiously. Lucas then held out his left hand. The sword that Lucas threw at Ceodore started to shook from the ground as black wind covered it. It then flew back to Lucas' hand. Lucas looked around wildly as he charged up a massive wind orb attack from his mouth and blast it towards the barrier, making a whole into it. The soldiers were quick and was able to repair the barrier. "Please crescent heroes, please help our city! You're the only people who can stop this monster!" a Galdavan Soldier yelled out.

[-Genesis-]

Gawain nodded, "I'm sorry about hurting you....... OH DAMN!" Gawain suddenly yelled at Gauge, "Take your shirt off now!" He could see the smoke coming from behind Gauge, *The acidic saliva of the demon, Gauge landed in it because it had already burned mostly it had a slower effect, but if it gets to Gauge's skin......" Without waiting for Gauge to act Gawain grabbed Gauge's shirt and tore it off his back and threw it away. It landed on the ground a few feet away and just after it landed on the ground the acidic remains finished burning through the shirt and began burning the grass beneath it. Gawain fell back against the tree behind him and looked at Gauge, "I'm sorry, but I didn't want to hurt you any more than I already have..... also did you inhale any of the toxic fumes?"

OOC: Eh, no problem at all

 

IC: Gauge watched as his clothes disinergrated before his eyes. "WHAT THE HELL???!!! THAT WAS ACID???!!!" Gauge yelled out as he held his arm out which was covered in the acidic saliva. It appeared that the saliva had no affect on his skin or flesh at all. "What?! Well, it doesn't appeared to have any affect on me." Gauge stated as he wiped the saliva against a nearby tree, which started to sizzle. "Yuck......" Gauge then stared at Gawain. "And I did inhale some weird gas thingy, I felt a little bit tingly afterwards but that's about it. The acid might not be able to harm me maybe because of my skin. Let me tell you, my skin is probably the toughest thing you'll ever find. (Well, that is if you don't attack me with water.)" Gauge thought to himself.

Sideway was enjoying the destruction that the creature was creating. He could never get enough of Shine Soldiers being beaten up, but he was standing well back just in case. The beast was being very thorough in its rampage. In fact when it had finished the tallest things inside the barrier were a couple of pieces of big rubble. Sideway was chuckling to himself when it shot a ball of something from its mouth at the barrier between it and the people.

 

It was starting to get out of hand, so Sideway took a step forwards just incase he needed to help anyone nearby. As he closed the gap between himself and the hole, a group of Shine Soldiers fixed it and stood in front of him. It was all he could do not to hit them in the backs and knock them out. But he realised they weren't wearing the insignia of Shine.

 

A realisation came over Sideway, they weren't Shine Soldiers. Galdavan must have its own private defence force, which meant only one thing. People were being killed and he did nothing to stop it. He was in his own little world, thinking of everything he could have done to help, when he finally heard the shout. How did they know he was marked? The couldn't which only meant that there were more crescent marked people within the city. He ran towards teh guard who had shouted.

 

"I have an ability, a Crescent Mark," He said firmly, "What do you want me to do? Also you said heroes, there are more of us in the city?"

Ceodore, while 'getting rid' of some Shine Soldiers, was hit in the back with a light arrow. Ignoring the pain, he turned to see a Shine Soldier smirking. Ceodore ran up to the guy and grabbed the soldier by the neck and sucked out his health, the intense pain killing him. Ceodore wondered why he was holding a dead dude, and just let him go. He continued his portal tactic, until saw someone he did not recognize come into the barrier. He walked towards him to get him out, but then heard him say he had a crescent mark. He ran for the boy, hearing him ask if there were more crescent marked. Ceodore spun the dude around, and pulled his (Ceodore's) glove off to show him the mark. "I need your help. What's your power??"

Sideway was shocked by the sudden appearence of another kid. He was pulled round and immediatley had a hand in his face. Sideway craned his neck backwards away from the extended appendage and looked at the Crescent Mark carefully.

 

"It's complicated. I have the ability to control shadows into doing whatever I want, I can tell them to become solid or to push a hole through one into another for speed." Sideway told the new boy, "Theres only one problem with it though, my powers are weaker during the day and if the shadows that I'm using aren't very deep then they're harder to use."

 

He took a step back and looked at the boy, "Who are you? What help do you need?"

[Altαir]

Aurora woke up to find herself in a semi-destroyed city. It was beautiful at first, whoever seemed to be destroying the buildings made good art out of it. She could lie down there forever, absorbing the sounds of destruction, the smell of burning, the sight of utter chaos. She had only seen this once in her life, and it wasn't as acute, as effective as this. She needed this chaos, something she has been lacking her whole life.

 

Again, she might've stayed there, but what shocked her back into sense was the dome above her head. Why was she in a transluscent dome? What did she do? She cursed portals, for they got her into this mess, and prayed to some higher being that she would experience no more portals for the day. Her day was being practically ruined by them.

 

Aurora got up, and examined her area. Yes, she was in a dome, something of a barrier. Was it to keep something out? Or in? Her questions were quickly answered when she saw that same figure from before in that vision, as she called it. Why was this pertinent to her? Who cares if a city is destroyed, as long as she isn't touched, she was fine. But, as of course, her day had to shift into exitement, now she was trapped in a dome with some freak destroying buildings and causing a comotion.

 

"What a day..." she moaned. She really didn't know how to react to this figure, for she hasn't really experienced fear before. She was more curious than anything, as to how something like this would'e gotten into the city without any Shine Soldiers stopping it at the border. Did it originate inside? Is that why there's a barrier around it? Is it really that dangerous?

 

She looked at it, hoping it wouldn't spot her. Her crescent mark flashed around her iris, and she saw something odd in its chest, a power radiating evil aura. It was spreading across his body, seemingly taking it over. All she could read were blank thoughts- this thing was either dead of thought, or stupid enough to think of nothing. Either way, it was dangerous. But how could she stop something like that?

"My name's Ceodore. Thanks for helping. For now, can you please help us 'get rid' of more Shine Soldiers. We need them out of the way to help Lucas." Ceodore turned away from the new guy, and continued to send soldiers through the portal. This is actually kinda fun. Hehe. One of the soldiers that was smart enough to grab the edge of the portal that appeared below him, but the double gravity got the best of him and he fell off the tower just like the rest of them. Ceodore was about to open another portal, but he realized the person he was pointing below was a girl. Another one?? He walked over to her. "Hey, listen, you can't be here, it's too dangerous..."

[Kaisu]

Ray grunted before charging through the Spell Ring. He changed his plans and refastened the net to an arrow, aming it at Lucas. He shot at him and the net closed. Ray knew it wasn't going to hold for long....

 

He needed a backup plan. He and Art flew through the barrior, momentarily fazed. A knife plunged into the back of a Shine Soldier as they landed, Art drawing his sword as they closed in on a small squad.

Lucas stared at a particular building with interest. The building had a poster of Keva Island, the island that used to be Lucas' home. This poster was dated as ten years ago, long before the disaster that hit the island. His eyes began to show sadness as he gave a small growling-like noise. At that moment, the arrow that was fired by Ray headed towards Lucas with great haste. As the arrow got near him, Lucas simply grabbed the arrow with one hand while still paying attention to the poster. Lucas then completely crushed the arrow with little effort and turned his attention back to the others at the scene. "RAWR!!!!!!!!"

 

Lucas roared out as he crouched on all four limbs. He then opened his mouth towards the sky. A gigantic wind orb began to form at his mouth and Lucas unleashed it with immense force onto the barrier. It caused quite a shockwave as it was released, and as the orb made contact with the barrier, it completely decimated it while also creating a large cloud of smoke. Lucas' pupils shined brightly within the cloud of smoke as he disappeared and reappeared in the middle of the group of Galdavan Soldiers. "I-it's him!!!!" the Galdavan Soldiers began to fire light arrows at Lucas, all of them shattering as soon as they hit him. Lucas then slashed his sword across the group, decapitating all of the soldiers as the smoke cleared up.

[Altαir]

"Oh, me?" Aurora said, dazed by what she just did. She looked up as who adressed her, a boy. A sudden thought crossed her mind, like she was forgetting something, but she quickly flushed that down.

 

"Oh, I'm just... enjoying the scenery. And please, don't send me through a portal like you did to others, I've experienced enough portals for one day." Aurora grunted. This boy was obviously tied with the strange figure she saw. And that black aura... it wasn't natural. Was he the cause, or is he trying to help? These thoughts raced through her mind.

 

In the corner of her eye, Aurora could see two other figures in action. They also were attacking Shine Soldiers with these magical powers of theirs. What were these people doing?

[Twig]

Trent made all the vines charge after the monster while it glared at a poster. He made the vines swirl around the ferocious monster, but a strong force pushed the vines away. These flowers aren't strong enough. Their vines and stems are too weak. I guess it's time to use my back-up seeds. Trent pulled out a Redwood tree seed. Redwood trees were strong and can grow as large as 280 feet and as wide as twenty-nine feet.

 

Trent threw the seed to an area near the monster. He clasped his hands together, and focused on the seed. The seed immediately started to grow rapidly.

Lucas roared loudly as Redwood trees started to grow and surround him. "RAWR!!!!!!" In another flash, Lucas reappeared outside of the trees. He stared at the trees intently as they continued to grow. Lucas then held his hand outwards as black wind began to engulfed his hand. With quick speed, Lucas jabbed at one of the growing trees, making quite an indention into it, but not destroying it. Lucas' eyes widened as he was confused by what has just occured. "RAWR!!!!!!" Lucas charged up a wind orb and blast it towards the trees destroying the top parts of them, however, they continued to grow. Lucas, with another flash, appeared in front of Trent, staring him with eerie eyes as his sword was engulfed by the winds. Lucas then slashed his sword towards Trent, if this make contact, Trent would sustain quite devastating amounts of damage.

Ceodore looked to Lucas, then the others, then the girl. "Listen, you gotta get out of here right now. You can get really hurt." Ceodore rushes away to try and help the others. Almost all of the Shine Soldiers are either on the floor or in a pile next to the tower. "Guys! I have a plan! First, we need to restrain Lucas." Ceodore rushed to Trent. "Hey can I borrow something thanks." he said without caring what Trent did, as he stole his powers. But something went awry(spelling?) with the consequence. Ceodore forgot what was happened. But not only that. He forgot where he was, who these people were. He even forgot his name. His crescent mark suddenly flashed, and he remembered. "Woah...that was weird..." he said. After a brief moment of thought, he suddenly jumped back as Lucas appeared in front of Trent and swung his sword. Scared and a little impuslive, Ceodore jumped in front of Trent and took the blow. He starts bleeding, and falls unconscious.....

As Lucas' sword neared Trent, Ceodore jumped into the way and was struck with the sword. Ceodore fell to the ground, bleeding, and soon became unconcious. Lucas' sword dripped with blood as he looked upon Ceodore. Lucas' eyes showed no remorse or no emotions at all towards Ceodore. After a few seconds, Lucas' eyes widened as he continued to stare at Ceodore's body. "Ce..... Ceo..... Ceodore........" Lucas muttered as he looked up at Trent. "Tr..... Tre..... nt....." Lucas muttered to Trent, his eyes showing signs of sadness. Lucas then jumped back quite a distance as he began to hold onto his head. "RAWR!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" Lucas roared and yelled due to the immense pain he was feeling. The black sphere on his chest begun to dissipate as pieces of it fell to the ground and shattered. Lucas' left eye became its normal appearance again with the black liquid-like substance also disappearing from his left side. "{Panting}" Lucas then stared at Trent again with the same eerie look from before. "RAWR!!!!!!!"

[Altαir]

Aurora looks blankly at what just happened. She was absorbing too much at a time, it went too fast for her. She then saw the black orb chipping away, small pieces. She instantly knew what to do. She decided to wait there, wait for the whole orb to come out. She then decided to pick it up at that moment and examine it, because she knew it was tied to something probably even more deadly. So she waited and watched.

OoC: I was hoping Twig would post. I wanted to see his reaction.

 

IC: Ceodore was unconscious, havinv a vision. He was at Crystal Cavern. But something was wrong. The sky was dark green. The crystals were dull. There was a sinister presence about. He was shivering, with a giant headache. The area seemed....glitchy, like the air twitched with fear. Suddenly, a deep, evil voice rang through the air.

 

What a noble gesture. Guarding your friend from a fatal attack.

 

"Wh-who's th-there?"

 

It's a shame you acted out of impulse. Not even realizing what you guarded him for...

 

"Tell me who you are!! Reveal yourself, coward!"

 

SILENCE, MORTAL!! The area suddenly seemed to explode. The environment was replaced with towering walls of fire. A huge, shadowy figure walked in from the flames. Ceodore couldnt quite make out what his face looked like. But the rest of his body was clear. He looked like a daemon. Long tail, wings, huge horns. His skin was a mix of normal peachish skin tone, and red, especially around his neck. He had four arms, which creeped Ceodore out. His eyes glowed with a yellow intensity.

 

"...'mortal'? Then..you're a......"

[Altαir]

Aurora sensed the evil dream in the air before she could even see it, well, at least the seal which blocked the vision. Immediately, as if she knew what to do, she projected happy thoughts from Ceodore's life into his mind, attempting to dispel the vision. But it only harmlessly bounced of the seal. Whatever was in there was purely evil, and didn't want anything in. She tried breaking the seal with her own sword, stabbing around Ceodore's head, trying to find a weakness, but only caused small insignificant scratches, barely a dent of progress. It was hopeless, and Aurora could only hope Ceodore came out the same...

 

She then noticed how weird she must've looked stabing around Ceodore's head. Aurora quickly sheathed the slim sword.

"Yes..a deity..." the god said, stretching his wings. "Do you want to be... enlightened?" the god held out his hand. In it, appeared a floating black crystal shaped like an 8. Ceodore was reluctant to even get near it. But tempation was getting the best of him, and he touched the crystal. Suddenly, the environment dissolved. It turned into some kind of throne room. The emperor of Cristal was sitting down, with a familiar woman standing in front of him....

 

"L--L-Luna?! (the woman from Soladad & Galdavan's Library)" Ceodore yelled, but no one heard. He couldnt move. He could only listen to Luna and the emperor's conversation.

 

"This is your last chance. You can avoid this fight." Luna said. Luna doesnt seem like the type to fight, Ceodore thought.

 

"No, Luna. I wont stop. I promise you I will get those crystals, whether you like it or not. I have Chaos helping me." the emperor said.

 

"Fine then. Your destiny is set."

 

"Wh-what destiny?"

 

Luna fades away. The other god appeared.

 

"Chaos, did you get to them, yet??" the emperor demanded. Surprisingly, Chaos knelt down to him.

 

"I've taken the mind of one already. They seem to be prone to loss of consciousness. It should be easy. But, their wills are strong. It may ta--"

 

"I don't need excuses!" the emperor yelled with total disrespect. "I need at least 7 of those so-called 'warriors' to fall under my control, or I wont be able to rule. You need to hurry!"

 

"Yes, sire." Chaos said. Suddenly, the scene turned back to the walls of fire. The emperor disappeared, but Chaos remained. He stood up and looked to Ceodore.

 

"If Luna is using you to fight, maybe I can, too." he said.

 

"What?? But, why does the emperor need crystals? Why are you obeying him? And why was Lun-----no...." Ceodore said, realizing a deep and shocking truth.

 

"Yes," Chaos said. "Luna is the Goddess of the Moon, disguised to you as a normal human..."

OOC: Atman, are you sure it's really your job to be naming the Moon Goddess and this so call evil force called Chaos (Final Fantasy) in this RP? Shouldn't you have Twig do it or at least get his permission?

 

IC: Inside a dark void-like world, Lucas was standing alone. Everywhere Lucas looked, he saw nothing. Everything was pitch black, Lucas felt overwhelming feelings of sorrow and hatred in his chest. "My heart...... I feel pain......" Lucas stated as he held his jacket in the middle of his chest. "These so called friends of yours Lucas....... do you really think they're really your friends at all?" a voice asked eerily. "Huh? Who's there......" Lucas asked as he turned around. "Trent...... he's using you for his own selfish needs. Ceodore...... he was hiding things from you wasn't he? Now if he's really your friend, wouldn't he told you too? Instead of that Trent? Art and Ray...... they haven't been here for long, can you really trust them? Britney and Justin..... their ways are evil, hehe...... Terra..... he's the greedy one wasn't he? Everybody is against you in some way Lucas......." the voice explained.

Trent was trying everything he could to hold the monster down. Even the redwood trees wouldn't do the job. Ceodore had tried to use his powers, but he fainted instead. And he said they needed to restrain Lucas?! What? Where was Lucas anyways. The monster was right in front of him. That's odd... The black liquid that surrounded the monster was slowly dripping off. He then saw an eye. It looked familiar, but Trent couldn't think why it was familiar. He moved the branches of the redwood, pushing the monster away.
