Rise of the Crescents [Accepting/Started]

WEREWOLF, man can we just kill the guy and throw him into the ocean and get outta here before he kills us or somethin........WOW this potion looks yum to drink . Britney thought to herself as she picked up the potion, unknowingly and coincidentally it was not Lycanthrope potion, but something else that she had no clue what it was. "Justin, lets drink this potion and see whats happens" . Britney whispered to him quietly as she took a huge drink out of the potion, leaving Justin to drink the rest and when it was all gone they brought it to Trent. "Hey Trent whats this potion do" . Britney asked curiously as she waited for Trent to look.

[Twig]

"Why would you drink a random mysterious potion?! Are you crazy?! The bottle name is...here it is. It's called Forvella. Let me see what it says in the encyclopedia."

 

Trent flipped through the pages, looking for the name of the bottle.

 

"Uhh...I can't seem to find it. We'll just have to wait to see what it does."

 

Trent became worried. What if Britney turned into some kind of huge monster that would make the boat tip over?

"Yep, im crazy and just incase something really bad happens to me...........so i might've gave some to Justin first to see if he dies so i can say bye to you people before i die" . Britney said in a casual but freaked out voice, she was waiting for Trent to do some crazy plant thing and then throw her off the boat to her death. "Listen i know you should get mad at me and should throw me off the boat so if you are tell me so i can do it myself" . Britney said as she backed onto an edge of the boat, about to jump off.

[-Genesis-]

Gawain turned to Gauge, "No, I will not go back there until I have mastered my inner demon. Then and only then will I go there, otherwise I will turn the city to rubble, leaving nothing behind." Gawain turned back to the tunnel and started up it at a slow enough pace that the ex-hostages could help the tortured prisoners and still keep up. As they neared the top of the tunnel Gawain stopped them and crept up to the entrance on his own and with a quick glance saw that there was no one in the room at the top of the tunnel, but that there were about 20 armed men outside the building waiting for them. He crept back down and gestured for Gauge and Jesse to come up with him and for the former hostages and prisoners to wait where they were.

Ceodore grabs Britney to prevent her from jumping. "Oh calm down, Britney, you're not gonna die." he said is a casual voice. In truth, Ceodore was also worried. He saw a statue of Trent, Cuore, and himself, but not of Britney. Though her name is in Trent's encyclopedia, Britney is a common name, so it could be someone else. Ceodore looked on as Britney and Justin began to glow, then suddenly disappear. However, Ceodore could still feel Britney's arm. "Awesome! It was an invisibility potion!" Ceodore sees a hatch on the floor. He opens it, and sees more Forvella potions. "Hey look! There's more!"

Lucas was asleep during the potion incident, however, his powers were still active as the boat moved along the ocean. Lucas, once again, appeared at Arcemeis. "Back here again huh? Might as well look around before I wake up again." Lucas said to himself as he started to wander into an open field. The grass and flowers were being blown by the cool wind, suggesting that Arcemeis is still moving on its own. "Man, this sure is relaxing......" Lucas said to himself as he relaxed his muscles and closed his eyes. When he opened his eyes, Lucas was awake on the boat where he saw Ceodore taking out a bunch of potions from a hatch. "Huh, where did you get all of those? They're potions aren't they?" Lucas asked in curiousity.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

"Inner demon?" Gauge said to himself as Gawain left. He then looked over to see Gawain motioned his hands for Gauge and Jesse to come. "Huh, c'mon Jesse, let's go." Gauge stated as he quickly and carefully ran over to where Gawain was. Gauge then noticed the armed men outside. "Wow, there's a lot of them. But who gives a crap, I just annhilate them!" Gauge exclaimed.

[Barian Warlord]

As the full moon rose Terra's Crescent mark began to glow then he began to change, though not how everyone thought he would. First a black mist came from under his jacket and pants consuming his hands and feet, it soon dissipated and Terra had claws that's fur mixed with his cloths (Don't want to have to get new cloths every time.) Then his canine teeth had elongated a small amount giving him a small set of fangs on the top and bottom rows of his teeth. Finally on his head grew a pair of wolf ears and above his butt grew a tail, all the fur was the same color as his hair. "Wow, I guess that dream must have helped me out."

[Blake]

Jesse had followed his companions and had just seen the guards. He thought, to himself rather than telepathically. "So, what's our move?" Jesse asked, praying to the goddess it would not be anything involving wholesale slaughter. He looked out at the men. "Should I... lure them away? Make them think they heard an announcement of some sort from a superior? They are just lower class, no need to kill them."

[-Genesis-]

Gawain looked at Jesses and Gauge, "If you don't want me to kill them then create some form of distraction, but it would have to be in person and you may have to be violent, but not lethal. In my experience with villages like these they have one leader and other than what he says their plan is to kill any Crescent who tries to oppose them, and seeing as their leader was the first person I killed in this town they have no real plans or ideas except attack to kill." Gawain looked back towards the men waiting for them outside and then turned to Jesse, "You seeme to be the only one against simply killing them, so I'll give you three minutes to come up with a plan to distract them so that I can get these people out of here. Know also that if any of them get past your distraction and get too close to those Crescents I'll kill them with out hesitation. If after three minutes are up you don't have a plan I'm going to kill them all. Your time starts now." Gawain leaned back against the wall behind him and watched Jesse waiting for him to speak.

After hearing Gawain's proposal to Jesse to come up with a non-violent plan, Gauge simply fell to the ground and crossed his hands. "Damn it, and I was about to beat the living crap out of them. Their weapons won't even penertrate me, they'll just simply bounce off. But if I attack them, I will forget about knocking them out. If they're lucky like the ones in the first torture room, then maybe they will not recieve a death punch, but I seriously doubt that." Gauge explained. "Fine Jesse, go ahead and think of a plan. Hopefully your plan succeeds, because I'm really not that fond of killing that much either." Gauge stated as he leaned back against the wall and closed his eyes.

[Kaisu]

Ray had seen what Art was doing, and soon he had a bleeding turkey in his hands. "Look out guys!" He shouted as a flaming arrow plunged into the dead animal, and Art slowly let the meat roast before smothering the fire. "Anyone hungry?" He offered, cutting up a couple peices. The meat was slightly burnt, and Art's gloves were somewhat burnt as well. He ate a peice before handing to the nearest person, while Ray maintained a watch overhead.

Sideway picked up the pace without really noticing it and shouted back to Tinka as he pulled away.

"C'mon Tinka. Pick your feet up." Sideway checked the words he had just used. They weren't something that he would normally use, but they just popped into his head. He looked ahead trying to make out how far they were from the road, it shouldn't be too far. Then a thought came into Sideway's head.

Where the hell am I going to go? Ever since he had left the safety of his family estate Sideway had lived on his own in Shine city. And now he was leaving Shine city as a fugitive and he was travelling with someone. He clenched his fist as he thought about it and felt a small surge of energy collect in it. His powers were slowly regenerating. Which meant it was coming closer to night.

[Twig]

Trent watched as Terra turned into a werewolf. He got ready by raising the seaweed under the sea to the boat's level. If Terra can't control himself, then Trent will just have to control him.

 

"Justing and Britney? Can I get a little help?"

 

He looked around, but they were no where to be seen. Did that potion make them disintegrate? Did it teleport them? Or did it make them invisible?

 

He looked back at Terra. No matter, there's still Lucas and Ceodore.

Darren waited in the trees, the leaves casting a shadow across his body. He stood there, his knees bent so that his hands were also on the tree. Look at them. Holding all of those people captive. It's about time somebody showed them a thing or two, Darren thought to himself. He jumped down from the tree, landing silently in the darkness. He placed his hand on the ground, and focused his energy. Darren grabbed his fingers into the earth, and pulled up. A standing skeleton came out. Because it was linked to him by his energy, Darren was able to command it mentally. He told it to go straight up to the guards. The skeleton followed his master's orders, and walked towards the guards. They were surprised, and scared at first. Then they attacked the skeleton, and it was stabbed through the rib cage. Luckily, the weapons did not actually hit any bones, and were trapped inside the skeletons ribs. He grabbed their hands, and Darren jumped up from behind the skeleton. He used his power to make bones from the skeleton wrap around the two guards that were standing at the entrance and they were then trapped. Darren made sure to knock them both out so they wouldn't shout for help. He then snuck in the village, and saw a group of people not too far away. Who are they? And what are they doing here? Well whoever they are, if they plan on stopping me, than they have another thing coming. Darren hid in the shadows of the village, making sure not to be seen.

[Blake]

Jesse stood still for a moment, pondering what to do. He snapped outside of his mind, much to his embarrassment. "Uuuh, ignore that..." He said, before using his mind. He yelled at the men mentally, He watched the group get up, look around, and spread out, only one man coming their way. Jesse stepped back a few steps, and closed his eyes, shifting his telepathy to Gawain and Gauge. He almost gagged.

Gawain nodded at Jesse's voice in his mind and then stopped, after thinking for a moment he came to a decision, *I just hope he doesn't make me regret this.* Then Gawain turned and looked at the pained look on Jesse's face and took a deep breath, "Go deal with him yourself. You don't want me to kill him then he's your responsibility. But know that if he calls for help or brings more of them down on us I will not be merciful....... I WILL kill them all." With that he called the ex-prisoners u and led them out and past the man who stayed behind, *He may want to deal with the man quickly, because I do not make idle threats.*

Gauge simply opened one of his eyes at Gawain's decision. He then continued to close his eyes again. "Tsch, whatever you guys decide to do, make it fast before any other guards arrive. I'm reluctant to, but if I must, I will also kill every last one of 'em." Gauge stated casually. "Wait a minute, if ya want me to, I can throw like a small rock or something. It would be enough force to knock him out cold, but not enough to kill him. Maybe give him a concusion too, but never know until ya try. Of course that's only if you want me to." Gauge explained.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

Lucas was completely shocked when he saw Terra turning into a werewolf. "AHH!!!!! What the hell is going on???!!!" Lucas yelled as the wind pusing the boat disappeared. "That's not good!!!! You guys, help me restrain him or something!!!!" Lucas exclaimed as he stood up on the boat and wind began to form on his hands.

[Crystal Remnants]

Darren was hiding, but got bored watching the group. They aren't doing much... I'll just take down the rest of the guards. Darren ran out of the shadows, skillfully taking down the guards. They all went after him, but he dodged and flipped, using dead bones to take out the guards without killing them. Unfortunately there were many of the guards. Darren was able to handle them, but he had to pull back. He allowed the guards to follow him into a narrow alley way, allowing him to take them down 1-by-1 without using his powers. There were still some guards at the cage, but not many.

[Barian Warlord]

"...I think its done, um well I was kind of expecting more." Terra finished transforming, he wasn't a full werewolf but he did have beast characteristics. He had wolf ears and tail, claws fused into his sleeves and pants small fangs and changed eyes. "Well I guess I want to eat steak but besides that I'm pretty okay." The Crescent Mark on Terra's face continues to glow, and he got up and looked out at the moons reflection on the water taking a deep breath remembering his home that he left behind.

[Twig]

Trent lowered his guard. Terra had not fully transformed meaning he still had a lot of control over his body. He then had an idea. He used the seaweed under the water to trap fishes. He then made the seaweed hand the fishes to him. He grabbed the slippery wet fishes and handed them to Terra.

 

"I hope you like fish. You'll have to eat this to keep your hunger for meat low."

 

Trent then went to sit in a place where he could keep watch on Terra. For the next few hours, nothing much happened. He caught fish, ate them, and slept. When he woke up, he saw land. They were close to Galdavan City.

Lucas was relieved when he found out Terra still has control over himself. "Whew...... Oh man, you had me there for a second Terra. I thought we were gonna have to tie you down or something." Lucas stated as he fell back onto the boat. "Man Terra, what did you do to yourself, geez......" Lucas asked as he continued to push the boat along. Trent quickly went to sleep and after a few hours of nonstop sailing, they were finally close to land. Lucas seemed relatively fine, even though he used his wind powers for a prolonged time. Trent then awoken to see land. "So you're awake huh? Well finally, hehe." Lucas stated jokingly as they finally reach a nearby port. "Well, we're finally on the Avaren Peninsula where Galdavan is located. Let's go everybody!!!" Lucas exclaimed energetically. Other people at the port was constantly staring at Terra and mumbling to their families and friends.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

Gauge noticed someone beating up the guards and stood up from the ground. "Hey you guys, c'mon! Let's see what's happening!" Gauge exclaimed as he motioned his hand for Gawain and Jesse to get up.

[Twig]

Trent stopped off the boat and let out a breath of freedom. Being in water so long was odd. It was a lot different than his usual environment, Wonder Woods.

 

He saw a man nearby and decided to ask for directions.

 

"Hey, mister, do you know where the library is?"

 

"Why yes, little boy, the library-Oh my! You have a crescent mark!"

 

I guess they don't like crescent marks around here.

 

"You need to come over to my place. I have to get every bit of information about crescent marks."

 

Oh, he just wants to get some information.

 

"No thanks. We're just here to find the library."

 

"Did you say 'we'?" the man asked.

Lucas ran over to Trent and the man. "Hey Trent let's go!" Lucas exclaimed as he ran pass Trent and the man. The gates of the city were nearby. After a few seconds of running, Lucas finally reached the city. "Wow, Galdavan sure is big and bustling!" Lucas exclaimed as he looked around. Galdavan is a rustic city with plenty of that old city charm. It had brick houses, marble stone libraries and museums, and beautiful shops. Train stations were always busy, carrying a huge number of passengers. "Wow, this is one of the few places with these trains. Trains are a relatively new invention, and Galdavan already have five of them running." Lucas stated while he continues to gaze in awe. Everywhere you look you could see people dressed in very formal clothing walking the streets. Beautiful black stone lamps could be seen on every street corner and at the far side of the city, the mayor's office and the Grand Library of the Ancient is packed with people from different places, coming to seek knowledge. Lucas turned back and waved to the group. "Hey you guys! Hurry up!" Lucas exclaimed in excitement.

[Twig]

As Trent walked down the gray-bricked road, he noticed a lot of people were staring at them. They weren't staring at them in a bad way. In fact, they looked excited. Did we look funny? One man walked up to Trent and said, "Hey! How would you like to get payed just for doing random stuff?" Another man said, "Want to be part of an experiment?" They all seemed to want him to be a science experiment. That's right. This is the city of scholars. They probably want to know everything about the crescent marks.

Lucas smiled at Trent when he was approached by all of these people. "Hehe, Trent, looks like you're pretty popular huh?" Lucas stated as he continued to gave a wide smile. Then a couple of people began to observe Lucas, even holding up his arms and legs, and checking his ears, eyes, and other body parts. "So this is a crescent-marked person huh? Interesting, their physical appearance is just like that of a human." one young scientist stated. "No duh, I am a human." "Huh really? Interesting....." "Yes very, would you like to do some testing young lad?" "No, I'm good, but maybe Trent over there is more comfortable." Lucas stated as he pointed to Trent. The people surrounding Lucas then went over to Trent, making the group suurounding him even bigger. "Sorry Trent, hehe......" Lucas said nervously as he quietly slipped away from the incoming group of people.
