Lucas was surprised at Justin's power. "(Wow, illusions, that's pretty awesome........)" Lucas thought to himself as he rose up again and faced Britney. "(Wow Britney, your brother's power is really cool, and it should make things easier when we reach Shine City, hehe.)" Lucas stated towards Britney in his thoughts as he gave a warming and confident smile. Lucas then turned to Trent and stared closely at the crystal Trent was holding in his hand. "(I wonder what's that about? Since Trent woke up, he had that in his hand....... I wonder how he got it?)" Lucas thought to himself as he continued to stare at the crystal.

Ray and Art had fallen off from the whale's sudden departure, but Art was then hovering and was unfazed. The two headed over to where Trent was, and Art decided to shove Justin. "Illusions don't work after that state of mind is broken." Ray whispered as Art pulled out a bag of something metal.

"How about these, old man?" He asked, Ray slyly reaching into his clothes for a throwing knife.

Terra after wondering for quite a while felt tired and soon took a drink out of his bag and drank it without thinking. "(Oh know this is bad I drank it I really drank it, well hopefully it wasn't poison I do feel kinda weird but i should find the others maybe 1 of them is a doctor.)" Terra began to rush looking for the rest of the group and eventually found them at the docks. "Um, hey sorry about getting lost but are any of you doctors or poison experts or something like that." "(This is bad, this is bad, this is bad.)"

Justin stumbled over a little and the illusion was completely over, now the man had seen the reality of everything and had figured out by then that they were Crescent Marked. "YOU IDIOTS, NOW WERE ALL SCREWED" . Britney yelled loudly as she slapped Art across the face. If their was anyone you never wanted to mess with, it was Britney. "AND DONT MESS WITH MY BROTHER EVER AGAIN OR NEXT TIME I WILL KILL YOU" . Britney yelled threateningly as she slapped Art across the face again. Justin had stopped stumbling around and had grabbed Britney and hald her tightly so she couldn't slap Art again.

Art stumbled back, but Ray had prepared for this and he let his knife loose, and it stabbed into the man's stomach, causing him to nearly fall of the dock. Ray held him on the dock for a moment before turning to the others, his knife back in his hand. "Illusions are all going to be shattered, as will all states of mind." He said sollemnly, flexing his wings one last time.

Art was clutching his cheeck, the bag still in his hand.

"I don't really see the point of hiding it all, only Ray here has a visible mark, yours are all covered by clothing." Art muttured, floating up with Ray. "We'll follow the boat, get outta here before he - If he comes 'round."

Trent watched as Ray kill a man. Killing an innocent man? Really? Well I guess I'll have to do and see things that I've never done or seen before. Still, he thought it was inhumane.

"Come one guys. There's the dead man's boat."

Trent walked to the green colored boat. It wasn't that big, but it was big enough for the group to fit. He stepped in took a seat.

"Uh...Does anyone know how to sail a boat?"

Gawain looked at the two newcomers (Marsuvees Black and yugiohblaze)and walked out of the building right past them, "I have no time to waste on those who aren't involved." Once outside he then noticed that there were more armed men exiting a rather shody looking building and coming at him, *That must be where the Crescents they're torturing are being held.* Gawain didn't hesitate, he charged right at the men and this time used the Whip at a lower intensity and whipped the men to the sides and he barged into the building to find himself in a storeroom with an open passage down to lower levels.

Two more men ran up the steps towards Gawain who simply held out his hand in the doorway and used his poison claws, liquefying the two men and some of the ceiling and walls of the passage. Gawain stepped over the poisonous liquid and continued down the passage, not giving the men's deaths a second thought.

Lucas was shocked by what had just happened. Lucas then turned towards Ray. "HEY WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT YA IDIOT!!!!" Lucas yelled furiously. "HAVEN"T IT OCCURED TO YOU THAT YOU AN SIMPLY KNOCK HIM OUT???!!! DAMN IT!!!!" Lucas yelled as he tried to calm himself down. Lucas walked away angrily. "What the hell?! Stupid idiots!!! We're suppose to be the good guys!!!" Lucas exclaimed to himself. He turned back towards Trent, Britney, and Justin, ignoring Art and Ray. "Well since they killed him already, we might as well rob him of the boat. He won't need it where he's going." Lucas stated as he got onto the boat. Trent then asked the group who can sail the boat. "I can use my wind power to push and steer this boat." Lucas stated.

-Meanwhile-

After Gawain had left to head towards a building nearby, Gauge then stared at Jesse with intentful eyes. "Tsch........." Gauge sneered as he ran towards Gawain's direction. He noticed Gawain turned two men into some typed of liquid and quickly got angered. "What the hell is the matter with this guy?!" Gauge yelled as he ran inside the building and punched the ground near Gawain, creating a massive tremor. "Why are you killing innocent civilians?!" Gauge questioned angrily as he stared at Gawain with furious eyes.

Gawain stopped in his tracks at the man's comment about innocent civilians. *Although he is human like them he doesn't know what they're doing? Then he must be a traveler...... but he doesn't fear my power like most humans do.... is it possible that he's a Crescent too? No, he wouldn't be questioning my actions if he was.* Gawain turned and looked the man in the eyes, "You're too naive, these men are innocent of nothing, follow me down this tunnel and I'll show you the atrocities they've committed. They're nothing more than dirt that tortures Crescents for their own personal enjoyment. Now keep out of my way HUMAN or you'll suffer the same fate as them." He turned his back on the man and continued down the tunnel.

After a few minutes of going down the stairs deep into the tunnel the first of the screams reached Gawain. *So my information was correct. Now, if it's completely correct then there should be a small room full of 4 guards five feet to the left of the bottom of the staircase with the door of the room facing right past the staricase so they can see anyone who comes down it.* Gawain paused in his thoughts for a moment as a scream of excruciating pain burst out, making Gawain flinch and then steel himself, *I must not let the screams make me act rashly, I must keep control. As the guards come out of the room and come at me, I'll kill them and move on to the torture chambers, and end the lives of those torturers without hesitation.*

As Gawain explained the situation and continued to walk down the path, Gauge was confused. "Human? Well of course I'm a human, what's he?" Gauge asked himself in confusion as he followed Gawain down the path. As they got near a room downstairs, horrible screams can be heard. "(What the hell was that?! I gotta do something!!!!)" Gauge thought to himself as he noticed Gawain flinching and then calmed himself down. "(What's wrong with him?! Well, I guess something would be wrong with you if you too heard that scream.)" Gauge thought to himself as he regain his composture. The right part of his chest then began to shine brightly in a crimson color. Gauge then smashed through the wall and headed towards the guards. "You're dead punks!!!!" Gauge exclaimed as he ran towards them. They tried to fired light arrows at him, but they all shattered as soon as they reached him. Gauge made his way over and punched one of the guards with enough force to send him flying into the other guards, knocking them out. Gauge then ran towards the hostages and untied them. "Hey are you guys alright?" Gauge asked worryingly.

Ceodore was a little....disturbed.... at what had just happened. To so coldly kill an innoceny man. They must've drawn plenty of blood. Ceodore saw the boat and got an idea. "Hey, guys, this boat is fine and all, but we don't even know where Galdavan City is. Ima go back into Soladad and see if I can find an overworld map." Ceodore ran into the city. After looking around for a while, he found what he was looking for: the overworld map and a compass. When he walked back he saw Trent and Lucas getting into the boat. "Hey guys! I got the map! I'll be the navigator!" he said as he jumped into the boat. He checks the map and compass. "Galdavan City is....THAT WAY!" he shouted as he pointed to a random direction. "Oh wait...um...I mean THAT WAY!" he said again as he pointed out to sea.

The storm had finally passed, and Cuore decided to go out and explore. Having regained most of her memory, she now knows her next move. She needs to find a way to Ceodore and the others. After walking around for a while, she found herself on the outskirts of an.....unpleasant....looking city: Darklight City.

Jesse had followed Gawain, and kept being stalled before he would reach him. He thought, He projected his thoughts into Gawain's mind from about 50 yards behind. He snapped in their mental link. At that moment, the fear hit him. He might be in danger of this man, if he WAS actually killing people with a Crescent Mark. He quivered beyond the mental link.

Gawain looked at the man who he now knew was a Crescent, "Well it looks like I mistook you for a non-crescent. But you should know, those ones you untied are just the ones who have yet to be processed by these people." Gawain looked to one of the hostages and gestured for him to stand up, "I want you to take the guards weapons and guard the tunnel until I get back, then I'll take you all to a safe place." When the 'hostage heard the words 'safe place' he visibly relaxed and nodded. Gawain looked to the man who'd freed the hostages, "My name is Gawain, I don't know or care much for your name. I would ask you to stay with these people and help them protect themselves from the guards who with undoubtably come down here after us, or go down the hall on my right where there will be prisoners laying in their cells waiting for their turn to be tortured. I will go on ahead and free the prisoners from their torturers and then it will be up to you to decide if you will come with us."

With that Gawain turned and headed down the dark hallway on their left where the screams were obviously coming from. *These prisoners are Crescents who don't possess the more powerful abilities and are no more powerful than humans. But that other man, he is a Crescent with power and the ability to defend himself, although he is a bit haggard and lacks finesse. After I free these Crescents I'll take them to the valley and Virgil will take care of them.* Then suddenly he heard a voice in his head which was annoyed that he was killing people and said he'd have to kill him. Gawain hoped that the person who'd spoken to him in his mind was still listening, *Obviously, just the fact that you can speak to me through your mind means that you're a Crescent. If so, then why do you want me to stop killing those who are torturing our kind! I will kill any and all who harm Crescents, I will protect them! So come after me if you wish, and in doing so you will see the results of these non-crescent's actions, since it is seen in the scars of these Crescents who are their prisoners!*

Gawain continued down the hall until he came to one large room, inside it were 7 Crescents, each being tortured by one or more non-crescents. Gawain did as he'd told himself before, he didn't hesitate. He charged the first two torturers and cut them in half with his Whip of Light, then he swung the Whip and controlled it so that it wove around the room piercing the chest of each and every torturer, except one who decided to try to strike Gawain with his tool of torture. But Gawain easily dodged him and stabbed his left hand through the man's chest, before casting the now lifeless body aside. Gawain then went around to free each of the tortured Crescents from their bonds.

JEsse got to work. He thought it calmly as he caught up to Gawain. "Name's Jesse." He said aloud, "I'm an iron smith. And you are?" He inquired his new companion's name. He followed as Gawain proceeded to slaughter the torturers. It turned his stomach to see such a sight, but he knew Gawain had good intentions. "Surely there is a better- less bloody- way, right? Violence is not the solution to anything!" He yelled the last part at Gawain.

Gauge was surprise at Gawain for knowing what a crescent was. He was also irritated about Gawain's attitude. "Hey! Shut your f***ing mouth!" Gauge yelled as he followed Gawain. Just then, Jesse ran up to Gawain and completely ignored Gauge who was just behind him. "Hey! I'm still back here!!!!" Gauge yelled out in anger. After Gawain killed the guards and freed the prisoners, Gauge simply knew that Gawain was a crescent. "So you're a crescent too huh? Well that's good....." Gauge stated in relief. He then focused towards Jesse. "Whataya talking about? These people deserve what they got! They're torturing people!!!! By the way, are you a crescent too?!" Gauge asked.

Jesse looked at Gauge with the look of horror still on his face. "I'm not fond of blood and death. For anyone. So I feel there is a better choice than wholesale slaughter!!!" He continued the speech in Gauge's mind. As he ceased Telepathy, he walked out of the room, overcome by it, and using his mind to push the bodies away. "Seriously, I've no wish to see those bodies. Didspose of them, f you will. Now, what are your names?"

"(So he has psychic powers huh? That'll come in handy, hehe!)" Gauge thought to himself as they continued out of the door. "The name's Gauge! Man, these people sure are messed up to be torturing crescents like this! Damn it! What has this world come too?!" Gauge yelled in anger. "And how the hell we're suppose to expose of them?! I don't have no goddamn fire abilities, geez!" Gauge explained as he put his hands into his pockets. "By the way, what's your name Mr. Psychic?" Gauge asked in curiousity.

"Let's sail away..." Trent whispered.

Trent let go of the rope that tied the boat to the dock. The boat started to move. He walked towards the top end of the boat. I'm not going to say, "I'm the king of the world!" Who would do that? He looked at the sea. It was refreshing, yet scary. Trent didn't know how to swim. Although the sight of seaweeds made him feel better. He can use his plant manipulating powers to somehow save him from drowning.

He looked back the others on the boat. He felt as if they were family now. He never had a family. His past was kind of a blur. It had always bothered him that he didn't know his past. All he remembered was his parents leaving him on a stump of a dead tree. Part of him wanted to think that his parents were evil and abandoned him. The other part says that his parents did this to save him. "Family..." Trent whispered.

Tinka stepped with determination. He would fly even If it killed him. He wouldn't just let his powers go to waste. He wanted out, he wanted to be part of something that would make a difference. This crecent was given to him for a reason, and whatever that was, Tinka would just have to find out for himself and deal with it for now. What if there were more than just him and Sideway. He still had to find them. C'mon sideway, pick up your feet HE sent as a command and Sideway felt as though it was his own thought and had to do so. Tinka made a face. They had to find others, they had been walking for so long by now.

Gawain looked at Gauge and Jesse, "My name is Gawain, and these people aren't rare, this is the fifth town I've found that harms Crescents. The truth is they fear Crescents and their powers, so they capture some and break them down, in an attempt to scare others away, and to attract other more powerful Crescents so that they can try to kill the. What I do is simple, I go into each town that I get information about, search for and free any and all Crescents I can find, and in the meantime, kill anyone who tries to stop me from getting to them or who is harming them. Then I lead the Crescents to my valley where they can live peacefully and safely without ever having to worry about the rest of the world."

As soon as he finished Gawain froze, *Dammit! I let my guard down and mentioned the valley! If they're traitors to their own kind then I just gave away a serious piece of information about where the largest gathering of Crescents is. It doesn't matter that no one can get to them the fact is that they'd have two pieces of the puzzle: the fact that it's a valley, and that it is somehow completely protected.* Gawain started walking again until he came back to where he'd left the hostages, who Gauge had freed, guarding the tunnel back to the surface. He placed his hand on the man whom he'd asked to lead the others and told him to help the tortured ones to stand and walk, "Help them to follow, I will lead and eliminate all those who get in the way, then I will lead you to safety." The man nodded his understanding and had the other ex-hostages help him to help the tortured prisoners. Then the man looked back at Gawain and nod that they were ready.

Lucas formed a strong wind current that pushed the boat towards the direction of Galdavan City. Lucas was worry about the condition that Soladad was in right now. As the boat traveled further into the ocean, Lucas looked back one more time at Soladad. "(This is the brutallity of the Shine Army and its emperor......... Don't worry, I'll do whatever it takes to make Cristal better......)" Lucas thought to himself as he turned back and noticed Trent whispering the word "Family". "(Family...... that's right...... my dad...... he's still out there somewhere, I have to find him, one way or another......)" Lucas thought to himself. "At least we don't have to worry about Galdavan City being empty. After all, that place is important to the Shine Army. So we can relax...... I guess what we should do is go to the library there and learn all the information we need. Then we should try to find a way to get to Arcemeis." Lucas explained.

-Meanwhile-

"Tsch, whatever....." Gauge stated as he followed the group back to the first torture room. As the man Gauge saved from before helped the other prisoners to walk, Gauge was merely thinking what his next move should be. "Hey, if guys really want all of the torturing and bloodshed to stop. We should head for Shine City and defeat the Shine Army and its Emperor. That way, we could make Cristal a place of peace again! Whataya think?" Gauge asked.

Ceodore stopped pointing and sat down at the back of the boat to relax. Something, someone, the Goddess, Cuore, Trent, our friends, I don't even f*cking know but something is guiding us. I can feel it. Destiny is at hand. Ceodore saw Trent mouth the word family. ...Family?... Ceodore looked around. He hadn't really thought about it before, but it was true. He started thinking of these people as his brothers and sisters. Well, in this case, sister. ....family..........I will protect them at all costs. Even Cuore...

Terra was on the boat sweating ans appearing to be having a pretty bad nightmare.

"(In the dream he was being chased be an animal, one that was big, it was mean, and it was coming after him and worst of all he didn't have his crescent mark or his powers. Terra ran through some old docks that he recognized but he couldn't place were he'd seen them before, he was trying to get away from the beast or to try to find some weapon, but couldn't succeed in either.)"

In the real world Terra began to change form his hands began to grow claws and fangs began to grow from his teeth.

"(Eventually Terra couldn't get away and the beast pounced on him its fangs diving into his neck he felt like his life was about to end. But then he felt the erg to live not to let this thing take him and when that happened the full moon shone from behind the beast, and then the beast began to wince in pain as an arrow flew from the moon and struck it.)"

Suddenly Terra woke up from his dream with a scream, though the claws and fangs were gone his eyes now looking like they do in my bio pic. "Huff, Huff, Huff, that really sucked..."

Ray, despite the accusations of killing someone, was still normal as ever. He had been trained to assassinate, but yet he had never killed anyone. From his bow he had gained extreme accuracy, and he should have avoided the arteries...

Only he had been put off. The man's life was a gamble to Ray, a gamble that didn't matter in the end.

Art had seen enough blood in his life and was unfazed as he soared behind the boat. These wings were amazing, carefully crafted, not one that had been conjured. He flew onto the boat and sat down, regaining his breath before trying to create some food.

The two of them had never shared close bonds with anyone before.

The crescent marks brought him together with the others, but Art knew that Ray wasn't happy. If there was one thing he hated, it was death. Due to the mark he had been put off and could have killed the man who owned the boat. If one of the other marked ones were to die...

Trent saw Terra's transformation. He thought it had something to do with his crescent mark, but then he saw an empty vial of potion. Trent quickly grabbed his encyclopedia and flipped to the potions page. Sure enough, it was there. Terra had drank a Lycanthrope Potion.

"That's bad...Terra, you're going to need to learn control yourself. While in werewolf form, you have no memory of us. You're probably going to want to kill us while you're in werewolf form.

"Look, the sun is setting. It's a full moon night, so everybody get ready for a werewolf attack."
