Rise of the Crescents [Accepting/Started]

As Lucas heard Ceodore yell for them to come back, Lucas let go of Britney's hand and quickly ran over. "Huh?! What?! What is it?!" Lucas asked in confusion. He then noticed the word 'TRENT' on the statue and Lucas fell back with shock. "What the?! Why is Trent's name on that statue?!" Lucas asked as he stood up and regain his composture. He walked closer to the statue and looked at Trent's name and the other words that appears to be an ancient language. "Well that sure is odd....... Why would this statue look like an older version of Trent and have the same name too?" Lucas asked himself in confusion. During that time, Lucas' eyes had never left the statue's sight.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

Near the remote mountain village of Klavashire, during a huge rainstorm, a young boy was taking refuge withing a dark, cold cave. The boy was soaking wet, and appeared extremely weak. His eyes were lifeless, and his face showed a certain hint of sorrow. As the rain began to lighten, the young boy looked up towards the sky. "Ugh......... Damn it....... I'm too weak to go on like this........" the boy stated as he collapse to the hard, cold floor of the cave. Outside a group of people can be seen carrying him away, towards the mountain village.

[Twig]

Trent looked back. The statue was magnificent. He then looked at the Crystal Crescent in his hand. He's suppose to do something, but what? He then saw a man with a crescent mark on his eye. Another one, great. He walked over to them, hoping that they were nice, unlike that crazy girl.

 

"Hey. Who are you guys?"

 

After this, we're going to Galdavan. Their next goal will be finding that "mythical" flying city. What was again? Arcemeis?

Britney ran over to the statue and has gasped when she saw 'Trent' on the statue. "WOW now thats just magnificent like seriously now thats just amazing" . Britney said in total awe as a sudden boy came up behind her and tapped her on the shoulder. Britney gasped and turned around and stared at the boy, she was in total shock. "Justin" . Britney asked as she reached forward and touched Justin's face. "Britney, its me" . Justin said happily as Britney began breaking down into tears, Justin had just gave her a hug and they just stood their, frozen in that moment of time.

Lucas noticed Britney hugging a young boy about Lucas' age. The two seemed really happy. "(Huh, I wonder who that is?)" Lucas thought curiously to himself. "(Could he be related to Britney?)" Lucas then walked over to the two. "Hehe, sorry to interrupt you guys in your moment, but hi there I'm Lucas, nice to meet ya." Lucas stated.

 

"Are you guys related to each other or something?" Lucas asked in curiosity as he gave a friendly smile. Lucas then noticed a man with a crescent mark on his face. "Huh, who's he?" Lucas asked himself.

Britney had wiped away all her tears and looked at Lucas happily. "Lucas this is my Brother, Justin, I haven't seen him since i ran away from my family a couple years ago and now he's just here" . Britney said happily as Justin just nodded at whatever Britney said. "You dont know what i've been doing to find you, i've searched almost every city by the ocean since you like the ocean and i've searched some cities underwater but i haven't found you anywhere so then i got a ride here and now i've found you" . Justin said while Britney listened, wanting to hear everything that Justin had said.

Lucas gave a big smile as he turned back towards Britney and Justin. "Hehe, well it's nice to meet ya Justin!" Lucas exclaimed energetically as he placed both of his hands behind his head. Lucas then reopened his eyes and looked at Britney. "Wow Britney, I sure do admire your tenacity, hehe!" Lucas stated while giving her a smile.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

In the quaint mountain village of Klavashire, inside a small straw hut, the boy woke up. He felt much better than the other time he was concious. He was now wearing dry clothes instead of the soaking wet clothes he had before. The boy then stretched his arms and gave a loud yawn. "{YAWN!!!!} Man, that was a good sleep." the boy said to himself, not aware of his surroundings at all.

OoC: HEy, I think we should meet the others soon, even though I haven't been reading what they write it would be cool for all of us to get together...

 

IC: Tinka tried to get his body stable but his telekenisis was far too weak in his unconcious form. His eyes began to flutter as they bumped and slid over the forest gound and Tinka could almost taste conciousness. He coughed and with a suprised jerk toppled to the ground knocking Sideway over. "Sorry." He said weakly trying to push himself off of the ground. He was happy that his psychic abilities also helped him gain conciousness fasterthan normal people and he got to his knees and stood up. "Sorry for all the trouble...I should wait until we are somewhere safe before I pass out huh?" He said. he could sense movement in one direction. "I think there is a road somewhere that way." He said pointing in the direction they had been heading. He said it rather weakly and he closed his mouth and stood up straighter. Let's get going. He thought to Sideway.

[Kaisu]

Ray saw Trent and went to greet him. "I'm James, this here is Arthur." He introduced to him, indicating to Art. Art decided to unglove his hand, holding it up to show his mark before placing his glove back on. He held his hand out to shake. Ray recognised Trent from the whale, but wasn't sure as it was from a distance.

 

"You were on that flying whale, right?" He inquired.

Cuore exited the hideout. She didn't know what to do next. There was no one around, and she had nowhere to go. She walked around aimlessly until she reached a cave lined with crystals. With interest, she walked in. Then her mark glowed again, and she had the same feeling as before.

 

"His name is Ceodore. (an image of Ceodore appears) He is very kindhearted. But, he doesn't remember his past. Don't tell him it was you..."

 

Cuore's mark stops glowing. She is slowly regaining her memory. It starts to rain, so she decides to stay in Crystal Cavern for the night.

Ceodore listens to his friends' conversations. After a while, he decides to go look around the city one last time. After a few minutes, he finds a bookstore. !!! Maybe there'll be translation books! He enters, and immediately sees what he's looking for. An English to Lunarian Translation Book. Lunarian? Oh! Lunaria! He pays for the book and rushes for the statue. He translates.

 

"Hey guys! Look at this!" he shouts, getting really excited, because of what it says:

 

With them, the Goddess gives her faith to the world.

OOC: Umm, I think it's suppose to be Lunarian to English, not the other way around, also make English as Cristalian because the characters are not in America or any other places that speaks English

 

IC: Lucas after hearing Ceodore's translation, quickly ran over and looked at the book. "Whoa, that's what it saids." Lucas stated with amazement as he looked at the translation. He then noticed the book itself was rather old. "Huh, man, this book is REALLY old....... This probably dated back before the Great War even started....." Lucas stated.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

The boy then finally noticed his surroundings. He was confused but didn't seem nervous about his situation. "Where am I?" the boy asked himself. Just then, a young woman about the age of twenty-two walked inside the hut. She was carrying a basket of clothes. As she set the basket down, she looked towards the bed and noticed the boy was awake. "Huh, oh my, you're awake." the woman said as she walked over to the boy. "Huh, what the? Hey where am I? And how long was I asleep?" the boy asked. "Oh, you were asleep for five days, and you're in Klavashire Village." the woman stated. "Five days huh? That rain sure put me out." the boy stated while he looked at his left hand.

"Wow. You're awake." Sideway blinked as Tinka got up and moved off, "Very fast, Unbelievably fast." He stood up and checked himself including the blade. Despite the fact that it couldn't be broken, not by something as simple as a fall. He heard Tinka's pushed in thoughts and looked up at the other boy. Sideways eyes followed the line of Tinka's arm and nodded.

"Good. If theres a road then in all likleyhood we can buy our way away from the city." He took a couple of steps forwards then stopped, "Or someone may sell us out to the soldiers... Guess theres no way to tell until we get there."

Britney and Justin both looked over at the book, Not surprised at the translation or even fazed by it. "Well who knows, maybe this book is right or it could be out-dated, like maybe they figured out another translation for it and it means something totally different" . Britney said calmly as Justin just stared at the translation, his face crunching at trying to find any other translation for it. "Well this is hard to understand" . Justin quietly whispered to himself as he began to quietly translate it through his mind. You look like your trying to do a puzzle.......you cant do puzzles . Britney told Justin through her mind, Justin gasped and looked around wildly until he laughed at Britney.

"Hm..." Ceodore begins, "Well, honestly, I think we've spent enough time here. I think its time we get back to the whale." He takes the book from Justin. "By the way, its nice to meet you three." Ceodore starts walking back to the beach where the whale awaits loyally for it's masters. When he arrived, he got on the whale, and started looking through the translation book, until he discovered something. Well, he thought, maybe this is one secret that should remain such, for now. If we discover every secret to our destiny here, it may give them cause never to leave until the end.

 

Ceodore suddenly realized how tired he was, and decided to lay back and take a quick nap...

[Kaisu]

Ray and Art had decided to turn back, and they were frantically shaking their wings when some people got onto the whale. Ray glanced towards Art, who nodded. The two made their way to the whale, jumping up and landing beside Ceodore. He scanned the book before shaking him awake, or at least trying, holding an arrow in the other hand as he loaded it, just in case he had to counter Ceodore.

 

Art was flexing his wings on the whale, mouthing hurry it up before taking a few test jumps.

Terra looked around confused in the city. "Oh boy I space out for a while and I end up completely lost, well that's my luck." As Terra began walking around looking for the rest of his group he comes across a street peddler that hands him a strange potion. "Whats this??" After Terra said this the peddler disappeared. "Well that was just odd." As Terra continued walking he looked at the potion wondering what it was, and found himself mesmerized by it for a second almost drinking it before stopping himself and putting it in his bag so he wouldn't be tempted to drink it again. "This could be trouble."

The woman then sat on the bed and felt the boy's temperature. "Huh, everything seems alright. I'm a pretty surprised though. I mean you were out in the rain for so long. Anyways, I'm Laura, nice to meet you." Laura stated. "I'm Gauge....." "Gauge huh? That's a pretty interesting name. Well c'mon Gauge, I want to show you the people who saved your life." Laura stated as she helped Gauge out of the bed and then headed outside. "Hey Reg, Lowel, Rune, he's awake!" Laura exclaimed while pointing to Gauge. The three men quickly ran over.

 

"Hey, you're awake! That's great! How are ya feeling?" Reg asked.

 

"I'm fine......." Gauge responded.

 

"Oh by the way, his name is Gauge." Laura stated.

 

"Gauge huh? I'm Lowel." Lowel stated while pointing his thumb at himself and giving a confident smile.

 

Just then, a group of Shine Soldiers was seen coming towards the village. "Damn it, Shine Soldiers..... They came for me....." Gauge stated. "What? Uh-oh, hurry Gauge hide." Rune said as he pointed to the hut. Gauge quickly made his way inside. The Shine Soldiers then approach Laura, Reg, Lowel, and Rune. "We're looking for this boy. Where is he?" one of the Shine Soldier asked demandingly as he showed them a poster of Gauge. "We don't know pal." Reg responded. "Don't play dumb! We seen you people carrying him here yesterday! Maybe you need a little convincing!" the Shine Soldier yelled as he slapped Laura. Then Gauge quickly ran out.

 

"Hey!!! You want me, here I am!!! So come get me you pieces of trash!!!" Gauge yelled. "It's him! Get him!" The Shine Soldier yelled as the group started to fire arrows at him. As they made impact, the arrows simply shattered. "Heh, is that all ya got?!" Gauge exclaimed as he ran towards them. As he got to the Shine Soldiers, Gauge punched one in the stomach and that sent him flying away. Gauge then quickly defeated the others by smashing the ground, causing a hole to formed in which the Shine Soldiers fell to their demise. "Gauge are you alright?!" Laura asked as she ran to him. "Don't worry about me....... This place won't be safe with me around, I have to go......" Gauge explained.

 

As the scene continues, Gauge walked away from the village. The others were waving goodbye to him. "Thank you........ Gauge.........." Laura whispered.

Ceodore was dreaming. He was in pitch black darkness. "Dammit! That's it. I'm never sleeping again..."

 

Suddenly, a figure materialized in front of him. It was a little girl.

 

"Oh, hello." Ceodore said. "What's your name?"

 

"Me?" the girl said, "my name is Cuore."

 

"C-c--cuore?" Ceodore said in surprise. The name that haunted him since he first heard it. It belonged to this little girl. Suddenly a voice rang through the darkness.

 

Your destinies are intertwined. One of you must choose.

 

Two shining crystal crescents fell from the sky, stopping just above Cuore's eye-level. They both are equidistant from the pair, so that neither one was closer to someone.

 

One of you will help save the world. One crystal started to shine. And...must kill the other to do so. The other crystal shattered.

 

"What?!" Ceodore and Cuore said simultaneously. They both looked at each other; Ceodore with surprise, Cuore with fear.

 

"Where are you now?" Ceodore said.

 

"Um..I'm at some cave filled with crystals." Cuore said in fear.

 

Ceodore started fading into light. "No. I won't let anything happen to you," he said as he faded away. Cuore remained, scared. Suddenly, she woke up, screaming. It was still raining. She got up and went to the cave's entrance, still under the roof so she wouldn't get wet. Her memory was coming back. She remembered where she came from, and learned the ultimate truth.

 

"No... you have to."

Ceodore woke up, startled. He was scared, but he started to reassure himself that this time, it was only a dream. He saw Arthur looking at him. "What?"

[-Genesis-]

 

Gawain was standing near the mountain gate and looked out over the hidden valley created with his blood. *It will be a while before I see this place again, but Virgil will keep everything under control, after all, no one can enter or leave without my blood.* With that thought in mind Gawain went to the gate and walked through it. Once on the other side all it looked like was a simple cave wall, Gawain adjusted his sword's placement in his sash and walked out of the cave, and stood on the side of the Hadron Mountain Range.

 

An hour later Gawain walked into a nearby town called Malfur, they were quite good friends with Gawain and accepted Crescents easily. The people knew that Gawain had hidden a society of Crescents in the mountains, but respected him greatly none the less, they were allies and in the early beginnings of the society's existence would share their crops and such with the society through Gawain, and since the society had grown enough to take care of itself, the society was now repaying the townspeople with their own services. Gawain looked at this and knew that this was how things should be, Crescents and non-crescents living together in harmony, but he wished that the hidden valley was unnecessary and that Crescents could go anywhere without worrying about the hatred that many outsiders held for Crescents. Gawain went directly to the center of town to see Derik, but found that he was out of town. accepting it he told Derik's wife that he was leaving the valley for a while and that they would keep in contact by the society's hawks which we imbued with his blood so they could pass through the barrier before he left.

 

A few days later Gawain walked into another town, this one was called Seratoph, he'd never been there before, but had heard rumors of them capturing and torturing Crescents and decided to go and find out if it was true, if it was he planned to end that. As he walked into the town he knew immediately that he wasn't welcome as the residents were looking at him with dark looks a few with even evily glad looks. At this point Gawain was low on food and water and needed some to last until he reached the next town, so he went into the main building and up to the counter, "I'm just passing through and need to purchase some food and water to last until the next town, how much will it cost me?" But the bartender shook his head, "We don't serve your kind here, so just leave before we have a problem." Gawain noticed the man glance over at something behind him and then heard chairs moving and people walk towards him. Gawain simply shook his head, "I guess it's too much to ask to not have a problem." With that he turned around to face 7 men wielding various weapons, Gawain glared at them, "This your last chance, back off or suffer the consequences." The men looked at each other and laughed, then one who seemed to be acting as the leader spoke, "We've been at this a long time, we're not afraid of whatever you can do, we've faced more intimidating Crescents than you." The leader lifted his sword and charged at Gawain. In an instant the whole scene changed, Gawain was now standing calmly holding the leader up by his throat and the man's sword lay broken in two on the ground beneath him. Gawain looked the man in the eye and spoke, "Now I know that you have multiple Crescents imprisoned here somewhere, tell me and you'll live." The man sneered at Gawain and instead spat in his face. Gawain instantly grabbed a pouch off the counter behind him and blocked the spit, then he snapped the man's neck and tossed his body aside, where it smashed two tables. Gawain looked at the remaining six men holding weapons who looked at him in shock. Then he swung his right hand and spun, a whip made of light swung out and cut the remaining six to pieces and destroyed the counter behind him. Those remaining in the room looked on the dead body of the first man and upon the bloody remains of the other six in shock and then suddenly burst out screaming, running out of the place.

Jesse walked into a new town, having left his old town. He had been unable to get a new glove, and had only a bandage over the mark on his hand. HE was still wounded from his accident, as it'd only been a few days. As he waltzed down the street, he saw a fleeing Hoodlum, and wondered what was going on. He moved into where the hoodlum had fled from, and saw slashed tables, and a man standing in there. Gawain. "Oi, what are you doing?" He asked, noticing the dead bodies. "Well, you scared off a hoodlum. Now, who are you?"

OOC: Mind if a form a group with you guys?

 

IC: Gauge made his way into a town nearby the mountain village. Gauge had a hungry look on his face. "Aw man....... maybe I should've asked for food first before I left........ DAMN IT!!!!!!!" Gauge yelled loudly due to his hunger. He then quiet back down and made his way to where dead bodies were lying on the ground and two people were standing. "What the hell?! Did those guys kill those people?! What the hell is the matter with those two?! Going around and killing people as if they were gods. Damn punks! I oughta teach 'em a lesson!" Gauge exclaimed as he walked closer to the two. Without hesitation, he made his way over and stared at the two with resentful eyes. "What the hell are you two think your doing?!" Gauge asked in an angry tone.

"Come on guys. We have to go."

 

Trent walked as he talked(coughrhymecough). He then sprinted to where the whale was. The flying whale was gone. Damn.

 

"Uh, I think we're going have to take a different route. Anyone know where we can find a boat? I'll go ask that guy."

 

Trent waved his hand to the innocent looking man.

 

"Hey mister. Do you know a place where we can get a boat?"

 

"I have a boat. I'll give it to you, but you have to give something else."

 

"Sure, anything you want."

 

"I want that shiny thing in your hand."

 

Of all the things he could have chosen, he chose this. Damn.

Britney and Justin both walked next to Trent and stopped when they heard what the man had said. "Britney, this is where my crescent power thing comes into action, tell Trent that but through his mind that im gunna make him think he got the crystal in his hand" . Justin quietly whispered to Britney who just nodded at his response. Trent don't worry, dont give him the shiny thing, Justin's got this totally handle, he's gotta crescent mark and his power is something about illusions or something. Britney told Trent through their minds as Justin closed his eyes and began to focus at the Crystal and the man. The illusion began forming around the man, making it seem that Trent gave the man the crystal, but in reality, he didnt give him anything.

Lucas quickly ran over to Trent, Britney, and Justin. He heard about what the man wanted in exchange for a boat. "(Man, this guy sure is greedy...... Well actually, in this kind of living condition, I don't blame him........)" Lucas thought to himself as he slow his pace and finally made it to Trent, Britney, and Justin. Just then, Justin used his powers to cause the man to believe that Trent had just handed him the crystal. "(Huh, what the heck?! Justin has powers too?! Well I guess our team just keeps growing and growing huh? That's good if we want to defeat the Shine Army and its Emperor.)" Lucas thought to himself. He then crouched down to Justin's height. "Hey Justin, good job on whatever you just did to him." Lucas whispered.

Justin completely ignored Lucas as he was too busy trying to keep the illusion going, cause if he does even stray away from the illusion for just one moment, it will be gone and the man will have figured that their crescent marks and they would be swarmed by Shine Soldiers. Lucas he's trying to keep this illusion going so that guy won't figure out he got nothing, and the illusion is pretty nice if i might add, its so cool to read minds i love it . Britney told Lucas in their minds as Justin had the entire illusion layed and it was playing out calmly and cooly.
