Lucas got off of the whale and ran quickly into the city. His face showed overflowing excitement, but as he got into the city, Lucas saw empty streets. "Huh, what happened to this place?" Lucas asked himself in disbelief. A man about the age of 42 walked over to Lucas. "Hey kid, what are you doing here?" the man asked. "Huh, I'm here looking for something. Umm, what happened to this place? Where are all the festivity usually going on in this city. This city is suppose to be a live and festive place." Lucas asked, still in disbelief.

"Oh that, you see, this city has gone through what was known as the Soladad Rebellion, or more likely the Ten Days' Massacre." the man stated.

"Ten Days' Massacre?!"

"Yes, this place used to be the beautiful 'Floating Gem of the West' but one day during a huge earthquake, a giant landmass converted beneath this city, making it an island. Soon tourists stopped visiting here, and then the Shine Army came to take this place and use it for an army base. They stated that this city has lost its attraction. The people who lived here then started to revolt because of the fact that they'll be homeless. The corrupt commanders of the Shine Army then commanded their armies to kill every single person in this city. No one was spared, men, women, children, no one. Some like me were lucky to survive, but....... Well I've said enough. This city, one day it will return to its original state when the Shine Army is defeated by a group of people with crescent marks. That's what the Moon Goddess told us......" the man explained.

"I see.... thank you......" Lucas then ran towards the flying whale.

Trent swam through the hole. He couldn't believe what he saw. It was Aquatis City. The city was mostly in rubble, but seven temple managed to survive. Three temples sat parallel from another three. At the very north was the tallest temple. On that temple was a bright tiny light. Trent was sure it was the crystal. He swam towards it in excitement. As he swam closer, it got brighter and brighter. Finally, Trent could see the Crystal Crescent in full view. Slowly, he stretched his arms out to get it. When he touched it, a bright flash blinded him for a minute.

Ceodore just finished walking the entire city, and was about to walk back, when he noticed Lucas at the corner of his eye. "Hey, Lucas! Where are you going?!" he shouted as he ran up to his friend. Ceodore grabbed Lucas's arm, making him stop. "Lucas, you've gotta see something! Where's Trent and Britney? Oh nevermind, I'm too excited! Come look!" he said as if he was a two-year old boy who had just eaten a years worth of candy. Ceodore dragged Lucas to the center of the city where the pedestal lay. "Go, read what it says at the bottom."

Ceodore looked around, and saw a man in a shop. He ran up to the counter, out of breath already. "Huh-huh-hey, do you know what happened to the statue over there?"

The man looked at Ceodore, then the pedestal, then back.

"Well, truthfully, I don't know. That statue was gone ages ago."

"Oh, too bad then."

"But, I do know of a rumor to its fate. See, around a million years ago, the Moon Goddess told all her faithful cities, including Soladad, that her 'Warriors of the Moon' would come in their time of need. But, eventually, the War of Dissidia was upon most of Cristal, and the citizens gave up hope. Angry at the goddess, they tore down the statues. However, 12 years later, when the war ended, she reassured them, somehow, I forgot how. They wanted to restore the statues, but they forgot what the warriors looked like, and the original statues were lost."

"Wow. So, tell me. Do you remember what cities were there statues?"

"I only remember a few. There was Solidad, Arcemeis and Torrentia if they ever existed, Shine City, and Lunaria. Those are the only one's I can remember, sorry."

"Torrentia? Lunaria?"

"Yea, Torrentia is a city similar to the one that supposedly sank nearby. But it was built underwater, for merpeople. Lunaria isn't really a city, but it's supposedly where the goddess lives..."

Lucas stared closely at the faded words. Lucas was able to read some of the words, but the rest of the text was in an ancient language. Lucas then stood up from the ground and headed towards Ceodore. "Ceodore, we might be onto something here, we should tell Trent and Britney!" Lucas exclaimed as he motioned his hands in an excited manner. "There might be a chance we can make Cristal a great place again. However, who do you think these Moon Warriors are? And also, it seems as though some of the cities the man mentioned are part of our dreams....... we need to head for Galdavan City, 'The City of Scholars'. There's a huge library there called the Grand Library of the Ancient, we'll probably find some details on this matter." Lucas explained

The white flash slowly disappeared. Trent was no longer at Aquatis City. He didn't know where he was. He stood on a a road made of many gray-colored bricks. The road only went one way, forward. Surrounding the road was a bunch of trees. Trent can barely see it, but it was there. At the very end of the road was the Crystal Crescent. In front of him was a scroll. He picked it up and read:

The Crystal Crescent awaits.

Before it is held, it must prove that the true warrior is the beholder.

A trial is set for whoever is here.

May the true warrior prevail.

A test? So that's what all these trees are for, but what's the challenge? It's just an empty road, or is it?

<<@ygoblaze:just what I wuz thinking>>

"I feel so giddy! Hehehe. Trent and Britney will be so excited! Owait." Ceodore talked excitedly. He turned to the man. "Do me a favor and remind me I'm using Lucas's powers to speed up."

"Uh, okay?" the man responded. Ceodore grabbed Lucas's arm and took his power. Then, he forgot what he was doing. "Hey, kid, youre using Lucas's powers to speed up."

"I am?" He said wonderingly. He tested it by making a small ball of air. "Oh, okay, thanks! C'mon Lucas, lets go!" He said. He hasnt been this excited since he was a kid. He barely remembers anything about being a kid, but he remembers such a time. He started running, using Lucas's control over air to boost his speed. He got to the beach in only a few seconds. But he only saw Britney and the boy Terra.

"Uhh, where's Trent?"

OOC: @Atman, great minds think alike ^_^

IC: As Ceodore ran off towards the beach, Lucas was stretching his legs and arms. "Man, I haven't sky surf in such a long time, I think it's time I took up that hobby again." Lucas stated as he bounced up into the air. Just then, a huge wind current gather at Lucas' feet, helping Lucas to stand in mid-air. Lucas then looked down at the man. "Hey thanks pops!" Lucas stated as he rushed away. After a few moments later, Lucas arrived at the beach where Ceodore, Britney, and Terra was at. Lucas released the wind currents and gently fell to the ground, landing on his feet. "Huh, hey what happened to Trent?" Lucas asked curiously as he looked around him. "Don't tell me he went sightseeing, not that there's anything to sightsee in the first place." Lucas stated.

Ceodore didnt worry too much about Trent; he was more than capable of taking care of himself. That's when Ceodore noticed his encyclopedia. "Hmm, I wonder..." He grabs the book and flips to 'Moon W-', and finds a short article entitled 'Moon Warriors':

The Moon Warriors [or Warriors of the Moon] are a group of 'saviours' chosen by the Moon Goddess to rescue Cristal from times of crises. Little is known of the Warriors personally. However, they are claimed to have powerful magical abilities. Natives once built statues to the Warriors, images given by prophets, but they lost faith and destroyed them. The names of some Warriors, given by pedestals, are as follows:

  • Trent
  • Lucas
  • Britney
  • Terra
  • Jane
  • Ceodore
  • Hyena
  • Tinka
  • Sideway
  • Arthur
  • Ray

With this, Ceodore said, "Holy F***. Lucas! Britney! Terra! Come look at this!!'"

Lucas quickly ran over and looked at Ceodore's encyclopedia. In the encyclopedia, Lucas saw a list of names, some of them unfamiliar to him, and some made him almost speechless with surprise. "What the?! Look at the first four names and the sixth one! There's Trent, Lucas, Britney, Terra, and Ceodore! How the heck are our names in there?!" Lucas was confused and curious at the same time. He stared at the names with awe and amazement. "Some of these names are unfamiliar, and this page is also ripped in half. Could that mean there be more?!" Then Lucas started to doubt the encyclopedia. "Wait a minute, this is your encyclopedia so how do we know you didn't write these names as a prank, and even if they are real, then it's probably coincidence........" Lucas stated.

Trent stepped forward to test the road. Just as he thought. The whole road was packed with hidden traps. This is going to be easy. I could just make a bridge over the road with the trees. He soon found out that it wasn't so easy. Even with his bridge built, traps still appeared. He dodged flying arrows, avoided spewing acid, and deflected poison darts. He was halfway to the end, but he was burned out. He barely had anymore energy left. Trent hadn't realized how hungry he was. He looked at the trees to see if they had any fruit. Unfortunately, all of the trees were fruitless. What am I going to do?

"First, this is Trent's book," Ceodore started, "Second, you saw one of the pedestals! Grr! If only there was a statue in tact, then we could see it!"

At this point, there is a scream within the city. Ceodore rushes in, leaving the other's behind. When he gets to the center of the city, he sees a small crowd surrounding the pedestal. When Ceodore pushes through the crowd, he sees the pedestal glowing a shiny silver light aiming upward. It looks as if the statue is regenerating...

Cuore is frightened stiff, the fight is still ensuing (spell?). She decides to go hide somewhere until the fighting stops. She finds a tree nearby that seems to be hollow, so she crawls under the roots and....falls?

Lucas ran into the middle of the town and saw Ceodore staring at the statue. "Huh? How did that statue get rebuild so quickly?" Lucas asked as he walked towards Ceodore. "Huh, that's strange. I guess that is Trent's encyclopedia. But I still think something's fishy. I mean if that was in Trent's encyclopedia the whole time, wouldn't you think he noticed?" Lucas stated in a logical tone of voice. "It's just rather odd that we're finding this now. Unless somehow it just magically appeared in the encyclopedia of course." Lucas stated while staring at Ceodore.

Trent facepalmed. Idiot! Somehow, this never came up to his mind. Why doesn't he just step out of the road? He made the trees move away, and went out of the road. He froze, waiting to see if anything was going to happen. Nothing. He took another step, and waited again. Nothing. Trent made his way around the road and all the way to the crystal. It was too easy. Maybe cheating would have some kind of penalty. One way to find out... Trent grabbed the Crystal Crescent, and the bright flash exploded again.

The white flash disappeared, and Trent found himself standing on a pedestal. His face turned red as he looked at a large crowd looking at him.

Lucas then stared at the pedestal of the statue because of a bright light. Then the light disappeared, leaving Trent in its wake. "Huh, what the heck?! It's Trent!" Lucas exclaimed loudly. He then looked at Ceodore with disbelief. "How the heck'd that happened?!" Lucas asked confusely as he motioned his hands in a confused manner. Lucas then ran up to Trent and hold his shoulder. "Hey Trent! Are you okay?! Hello?! Yo Trent?!" Lucas said as he waved his hand in front of Trent's red face.

Art, now with a long sword, cut into the squad thus killing some of them before running away, inclining for Ray to come with him. He ducked into a tree, soon producing two fluffy wings. His dagger was back in his blouse, and he had some wax on the wings, with two holes in his clothes by the shoulderblades. Ray knew what he was doing and cut two holes of his own, wincing as hot wax hit his skin. "These go straight up - Pull the strings when we're up..." Art trailed off as he slowing acsended into the air. Ray soon followed. The most likely place the whale went to was still was still far off, so Art figured they should visit a series of the cities as they rose. It would slow them down, but hopefully they could catch up with them.

Britney ran over to Trent and Lucas and patted Trent on the back . "OH MY GOD TRENT THAT WAS THE MOST AWESOMEST THING THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE" . Britney yelled happily until she noticed that everyone was staring at her for living. "HI PEOPLE WHATS UP" . Britney yelled happily as someone threw an empty can of soda at her. "Ok who threw that cause when i find out im gunna shove this can down their F****N THROAT AND THEn THEIR GUNNA HAVE TO PULL IT OUT THEIR...." . Britney yelled loudly as she covered her mouth at the last second.

Lucas stop me from cursing out the city of people . Britney said in a very panicky voice to Lucas through her mind, she just waved casually at the people and began jumping up and down really really fast. "My momma used to say, when in doubt, jump up and down until someone tries to do inappropriate things to you" . Britney said in a quiet whisper as she continued to jump up and down.

Art eventually fell behind due to not being able to find the direction, but Ray could follow the sun. He seemed attuned to the light as he rose high above Art. Ray frowned when he saw a giant wooden boat, floating through the sky with a two giant metal wings, which, upon closer inspection held houses and markets, so the ship was like a giant island. The two landed gracefully on the wings, instantly blending in, though Ray hid in the shadows to hide his crescent mark. One book caught Art's eye. It was a dusty tome with strange runes inscribed on the cover, but with a crystal crescent illustrated underneath it. Ray followed his gaze and whispered to him. "Legends of the Crescents..."

Art studied the activities of the residents, and soon found the currency used, and soon forged his own. He bought the book and gave it to Ray, who began translating it.

From statues and others of the 'Crescent Warriors', we have found the names of these warriors...

Ray's jaw dropped when he read some of the last names. "James, Arthur..."

Cuore landed on a floor. It was a hideout! In a tree! Still scared, however, she takes incredibly caution. Suddenly, her mark glows brightly. She feels as if something is moving from her mind, like a wall. She starts remembering a little. <>

A woman is speaking to her. "Cuore, it is important that you let them know."

"Okay, I will." Cuore says in response.

"Okay. The first one is called Trent." An image of Trent appears...

"Ahhh!" Cuore screams, out of the memory. The mark stops glowing. She starts to cry and collapses. "What's happening...?"

"What's wrong, Trent?" Ceodore said wonderingly. "Come on, lets get back to the whale." He gently grabs Trent's arm and gets him and Lucas off the pedestal. Suddenly, the pedestal bursts with a blinding light, making Ceodore stumble a little. He turns around to see something appear on top of the pedestal, but it's too bright to tell. The light fades, and the group looks at a magnificent looking statue of Trent.

Lucas quickly grabbed Britney and attempted to calm her down. "Hehe, alright Britney, people are staring......." Lucas stated to Britney in an embarrassed tone of voice. Lucas then turned his attention towards the people staring at the group. "Alright people, nothing to see here. Just move along, hehe." Lucas stated while still holding onto Britney. "Britney, you shouldn't go all berserk like that......" Lucas stated in a whisper near Britney's ear. Lucas then turned around and face the statue, seeing what appears to be an older version of Trent. "Huh?! What the?! That looks like Trent!"

Britney has stopped bouncing and looked at the Trent statue. "Lucas....did you do anything to make Trent turn into an older statue of himself so he would be out of the picture and you would be out of the picture" . Britney asked in a questioning tone as she looked at the people still looking at her and the statue. "Can i please kill these people.........like now" . Britney asked Lucas as she began cracking her knuckles and walking closer to the crowd.

Lucas turned extremely nervous and scared when Britney asked about killing the people. Lucas then ran in front of her and hold onto her hands. "Hehe, uh Britney, I don't think that's such a good idea, so let's not do anything to harm them ok?" Lucas stated nervously as he tried to put on a brave smile. "(Geez, I hope Britney doesn't try and kill me first. By the look of her face, she seems really irratated......)" Lucas thought to himself. "Oh, and of course I didn't do anything to the statue. I don't have magical building powers or something." Lucas stated in an attempt to distract Britney from the people staring at her.

Trent was too focused on the Crystal Crescent to notice the statue that had grown. He couldn't believe it. What kind of trial lets you cheat? Maybe this is a fake Crystal Crescent. Then he remembered what the old monkey told him. "The simplest things are often the truest," Trent said. It was then that he turned around to see an older version of himself. This whole thing was just odd. The moon goddess is real...

"Come on guys. We better find our whale."

As Trent was leaving to find the whale, Lucas grabbed Britney's arm and pulled her away from the crowd of people. "(Good thing Trent decided to leave, or else I wouldn't know what to do if Britney.......)" Lucas thought to himself as he turned around to face Britney. He saw Britney was still irritated by the crowd so Lucas gave a friendly smile. "Hehe, don't worry about them Britney, they've lost their families because of the Shine Army, and you know there are crescent-marked people working for the Shine Army, so they just think we're woking for them. Let's just get out here alright?" Lucas reassured Britney as he started to walk forward, pulling Britney along.

After getting over the shock, the duo got two pairs of news wings before rising, knowing the whale's destination at last. The new wings were made of a sleek, glowing metal, extremely agile as they cut into the sky, wind whipping into their eyes. Ray's eyes darted around continually as he searched for the city in the sky. Seeing a beach, they landed and detached their wings, pressing down on the limbs until they slowly shrunk, soon turning into the size of a small envelope. They tucked their wings inside their clothes as they approached the whale, which was sleeping.

Deciding to search furthur into the area, Ray and Art went into the more populated area, finding a large crowd surrounding a statue. Two people were ducking out of the crowd, and Ray saw that Art had his hands clenched, gripping his marked hand. Ray realised his eye was also feeling strange, and he slowly drifted away from the area... Away....

Ray was bowing down before a shining figure standing in front of a glowing crystal. It was shaped as a giant crescent. Ray was dressed in fine clothes, with ornate white robes and a shining bow in his left hand. Behind him was a group of others, all bowing...

Ray stumbled backwards, slightly put off by the strange vision. It seemed so real... He remembered, he had seen something like this when he had aided Art. Ray frowned before approaching the others. He shifted hair out of his good eye, his mark half obscured.

Ceodore couldn't stop looking at the statue. It was actually quite amazing, and very detailed. But he knew he had to go. He turned and bumped into the woman again. "Oh, I'm sorry, again."

"It's ok." The woman said as she left. Ceodore began remembering what she said. And decided to stay a little longer. He went back to looking at the statue, and noticed that the text on the pedestal was now completely legible: 'TRENT --- Per lemma, Dea dat suus fides ut orbis terrarum ---' (at that point, the text circled back to 'TRENT'). "Hmm, I wonder what that means..." Ceodore said. He got up and looked back to his friends walking away. "HEY GUYS, COME BACK!" he yelled, when he noticed something. Another crescent mark, half exposed on someones forehead.
