Duel Academy - Rise of the Wicked Gods (Started/No Longer Accepting)

Matthias tossed and turned, trying to get to sleep. It had only been ten minutes and he knew he had no chance of joining the slumber.Well, nothing could possibly happen at night. I should... how could I not think of that before? He got out of bed and rummaged through his bags. His standard Duel Disk, his extra cards...Ah, here they are. Matthias pulled out a box of matches and a vial slightly larger than a test tube. So. The strongest lighter fluid this side of anything? Let's test it. He stuffed both in his pocket and, checking for patrols (As he often had to.) he silently crept outside and sprinted across the campus in no particular direction. He came to a building that was sizeable enough, but if he recalled he might kill somebody torching it. He decided to go to the other side of the building and move around to look for more potential targets. But as he got toward the back of the building he heard a girls voice. "Hey," she said. He didn't stick around to potentially get caught. He charged back toward the front of the building. Being in the dark most of the time and his unusual love of vegetables have given hiis excellent vision, and he spotted a boy squatted down in the bushes. Another person sneaking out? Wonder what he's up to. He crept, almost completely soundlessly toward the boy and said in a whisper. " 'Sup? We allowed to be out here or somethin'?"

Darren was sitting on the rock when he heard a boy talk to him. Well, it was about time he got some interaction. Darren was bored out of his mind. "I should hope so, since there's a duel going on right there." Darren pointed at the duel not too far ahead. "By the way, I'm Darren. Nice to meet you!" Darren held out his hand and smiled at the boy. "I haven't really gotten to meet anyone here, so I'm glad that you came over. By the way, I just got here to Duel Academy, and it seems great! Though... not much has happened. I wonder when I'll get a chance to show off my skills."

Jack was still screaming running around in circles "AAAAAAAAAAAAH! Why am I screaming!? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! This is weird! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! This makes no sense! AAAAAAAAAAAAH! I hope I don't wake anyone up! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Weird! AAAAAAAAH! I can't stop! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Somebody knock me unconscious! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Brendan grinned. 'I'll activate monster reborn. Revive Airbellum. Now I'll summon Kirigato. Synchro Summon! Go, X-Saber Urbellum! Take out his defensive monster! Go.'

Dante drew his card, cringing as his Aidoxe died, and was not surprised to see another new card. The Wicked Avatar. Huh. 'I'll activate Gateway From Heaven. Now we can all revive any number of dead monsters who are below level 5. I revive Drone Summoner. Now I'll use his ability to bring out two drone tokens.'

'I revive Kirigato and Airbellum.' Brendan muttered.

'Avatar, Take down Urbellum. Mist Wurm, attack Forza's defensive monster.' 3600/2300/3500

Dante groaned, woke up, walked over to Jack, and whacked him on the head with his duel disk. Hard.

'SHUT UP!' He yelled. Then he went back to bed, muttering about stupid idiots.

 

'So.' Nikki said, sizing up Violet. 'You really want to get into the Ra dorm? No matter what? Because I can get you in there.'

 

 

The Wicked Avatar has appeared. The downfall of humanity has taken shape.

Violet regarded Nikki with a curious but guarded expression. "I do what to get into Ra, and I am willing to do just about anything." She thought for a while, "What's the catch though. And why would you help me? What could you possibly be getting out of this, because I don't see any benifit for you."

 

"You don't even know me..." Violet added as an after thought.

Damian sat upright on his bed, sensing a disturbance. The third Wicked God had appeared. But where? Where?

'Don't I?' Nikki asked, then she took off her Ra Yellow jacket. 'I have no use for this anymore.' She tossed it to Violet. 'Challenge Andrew. He's worthless in battle. Promo Duels are about once a month. That's stupid. Take the jacket, say you beat me in a duel, and then beat Andrew. You've beaten a Ra, Andrew, have a jacket, mine, and it'll save you a month of time, until the next Promo duels. So it's fair. One day's time. A teacher won't like it, but it follows every rule.'

Zack had tryed to fall asleep again, but it was no use. Zack put on his yellow jacket and his nice black gens and walked outside. He noticed the sky looked a bit different. Zack didn't really care though. As Zack walked down the path he heard a conversion behide the Yellow Girl's Dorm. He walked over by the dorm. As he listened to the conversion more clearer he heard Violet's voice. What is Violet doing there? Zack thought as he turned back to the Yellow Dorm so that he didn't do something he would regret doing.

Violet caught the jacket at the last second, completely taken off guard at Nikki's idea. "B-b-but...Are you sure this is ok? I mean...How ca you not want to be a Ra anymore?" Violet was sutterly confused by Nikki's actions. What she said seemed to fit, but it still confused her on why she would go out of her way to help her. Violet shook her head. Maybe I should just take what's given to me...How many times will something like this actually happen to someone...

OoC : Is that duel going on at the time we are at? Why'd you mess every thing up with the timelapse strat?! Oh well.... assuming Remanants knows what he's talking about.

Why does everything feel different? Why is everyone awake? I'd better go see.... agh, what was his name? He glanced over by the duel before speaking. "This is my first night here. Feels wierd. Don't you think?" He shook Darren's hand and went on without giving him a chance to answer. "My name's Matthias by the way." Then he exposed the box of matches and fluid. "Any building empty right now?"

ooc: The duel is going on earlier that afternoon. Everything else is midnight. And I messed everything up because I wanted to get on with the plotline. But the duel wasn't over, so I set up a temporary time lapse. Once the duel ends, we'll move on to midnight, and then tomorrow.

IC: Nikki smiled, as Violet looked at the Ra jacket in her hands. 'Who needs Ra?' She said, still smiling. She waved her hand, like a magician would when pulling a rabbit out of a hat, and revealed an Obelisk Blue jacket. 'Beat Dante.' She said. 'No reason to keep the Yellow jacket now.' She grinned and turned away, waving over her shoulder as she strode off, shrugging on her Obelisk Blue jacket.

 

Damian stood up. He had been thinking for hours, trying to figure out where the Wicked Gods were. He had the Dreadroot, and he knew that the Eraser was somewhere in the Yellow dorms. But the Avatar... He could only sense that it was somewhere near the Obelisk dorm. It was a weak signal, but still something. He stood up, strapped on his Obsidian Plated Duel Disk, and walked out of the Slifer's Dorm.

Forza watched as his Ironzen and lil' succubus were revieved. "Welcome back guys." He turned his attention to mist wurm as it attacked his wall of illusion. "No need to explain what happens now do I? My monster's effect takes care of mist wurm and my bottomless shifting sands takes its final kill." Forza drew a card as bottomless shifting sands killed the monster with the highest attack points before being destroyed. I only have four cards in my hand during my standby phase so thats to be expected. Though I did finally manage to draw a mizuoni.

 

"I'll activate burning land! This'll speed things up cause now during our standby phase we recieve 500 damage to our life points. Good thing mine passed already huh? Then I'll tribut my Lil' succubus to summon Mizuoni warrior!

Jack got knocked out by Dante, a few minutes later he woke up "Phew, at least I'm not screaming anymore." Jack said before standing up, he then decided to wander around a little bit, just enjoy the night....... before he got sent back to his dorm, he wandered around all the dorms, ignoring anything that was going on, just enjoying the sights "I don't know how long it's been since Iv'e been on a night time walk before."

Zack had stepped foot in his Dorm room and layed on his bed. He took off his new Yellow Jacket and it put on a hanger. Then he put his PJ's on. Zack opened his Macbook's screen and went on MSN to talk to his friends back home. But none of them were online. Zack turned off the computer and tried to go to sleep one more time. It didn't seem to be happening today. He had to much on his mind. Zack started to try to clear his mind so he could sleep.

In a split-second Matthias had remembered Damion's name. He has something to do with.... whatever's going on! I know he's lying to me. To a degree. He left Darrion without even a good-bye and sprinted towards the Slifer dorm. He had left his matches behind in his haste, but he still had the fluid, that was good, he had more matches.Out of breath, he made it back to the Slifer dorm. Wow. Never noticed this place was so rundown. Looks like my house.

Cal watched in horror as these events went on. He saw the Ra Yellow girl take off her jacket and put on a blue, giving the yellow to the Slifer. As she started walking away, he knew he had to do something. But what? He sat there for a few seconds, wondering, then decided. He would have to duel this girl. Besides, he wanted to prove her wrong anyway. Standing up, he walked out of the bushes. "I suppose you don't want that little transaction reported?" he said coolly to the old Ra Yellow girl. "Because it's going to take you a hard-fought duel to shut my mouth. I'm sure you could get in so much trouble. Sneaking out at night, lying about what color you are, tsk tsk!" Cal shook his head. "So bring it. Now. Or I'll go report you to the Vice Principal." He pulled out his duel disk, and put in his Ghost Heroes. "Time to duel!" he said.

Dante shook his head slowly. 'The Wicked Avatar negates and destroys all spell and traps of yours for two turns after I summon it. Bottomless Shifting Sands is negated, and Burning Land is destroyed.'

Brendan grimaced as his life points decreased further. 3600/500/3500 'I'll summon XX-Saber Aerin. [1400/1500] Now, take down Ironzen!' 3600/500/3100 'And when Aerin attacks, he can switch a monster's battle position and attack once more. Take down Mizouni Warrior!'

'My go.' Dante grinned. Now this card I know how to use. 'I activate my spell card Soul Switch! Now I can send one card from my hand, such as Bill, the Indestructable Wall, and revive a monster of the same level. Rise, Water Slayer of the Abyss! [2300/3200] Now if I just normal summon The Calculator MK-2...[4800/0] Synchro Summon! Calculator MK-2 and Water Slayer, form another copy of The Forbidden Aidoxe! Back and kicking.' [3600/3200] 'Avatar, fry Aerin. Aidoxe, direct attack Forza!' [5000/3200]

Damian looked around Duel Academy, his red jacket flapping in the weak wind, a glossy black feather stuck behind his right ear. Damian was aware of every student running around in the dark. But he, he felt comfortable in it. More so than daylight. He turned his eyes to the landing dock, where a supply boat was stopping. Several workers climbed out, and began unloading new cards for the card shop and some spare beams of wood to repair the broken beam in the Ra Boys' dorm. They unloaded letters from home to give to students the next morning, some more jackets, since the amount of students was just growing and growing and growing. They had some trouble with five large, extremely heavy containers, which none of them seemed to know what they held. But Damian knew. And so as the workers began unloading regulation duel disks for new students, Damian marvelled at how well his partners had managed to get onto this island unnoticed. The Wicked Gods will be ours, if they can even get workers to carry them onto the island personally. Damian smiled maliciously in the blackness of night.

 

'Don't eavesdrop.' Nikki said in her lilting voice, turning around on her heel. She drew five cards from her deck. 'I begin this by summoning a defense position monster and setting three cards facedown. End turn.' He has no way to get through Karin. So I'll just set down that card, just in case.

Cal looked at his six cards and smirked. "Never set three spell or traps on the first turn. Heavy Storm!" A huge wind blew up on the battle field, shattering the three face-down cards. "That leaves you open to me," Cal laughed. "I summon Ghost Hero Ranto!"

Once during the duel, you may Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position from the Graveyard. If you do, this card’s ATK is reduced to 0, and when this card is destroyed, remove it from play. This card cannot be used for a Synchro or Fusion Summon or Tributed for a Tribute Summon on the turn it was Special Summoned from the Graveyard. This card gains 300 ATK for every other Ghost Hero monster you control.

 

"Since I control no other Ghost Heroes, he's still only got 1800 attack. But no worries. I activate the field spell Graveyard!

Once per turn, when a "Ghost Hero" monster you control's effect is activated that reduces its attack or defense points to 0, you can pay 1000 Life Points to negate that effect.

 

The field turned into a graveyard, littered with bones and tombstones. "Finally, to end my turn, I set 2 cards facedown. Your move." Cal turned to the once-Slifer. "You'd better get out of here or you'll get caught, and I'd suggest not wearing that jacket." He turned back to the duel.

Nikki smiled. 'I summon another defensive monster. Now I'll activate the spell card Apep's Wrath. This wipes out every face up monster, and hits you for 100 damage for every non Apep's Reign card that got killed. Say goodbye to Ranto. End turn.' Nikki ran her eyes over the cards on the field, and they came to rest on one particular card in her graveyard. Apep's Blessing. She scowled; that card had won her many duels, including her battle against Dante. But she still had one ace-in-the-hole. Nikki looked at the card in her hand. Soon as I play this, it's endgame for sure. She thought solemnly.

((Hello. I was recently accepted as the Academy's first teacher.))

 

A seaplane skimmed over the waves as it prepared to dock at the Academy.

"You sure you'll be alright, ma'am?" The pilot asked. "I may be receiving direct orders from I2, but this is incredibly unorthodox."

"Trust me. I will be just fine." The woman sitting in the passenger seat replied as she grabbed her briefcase and luggage. The seaplane pulled up to the dock, and a well-endowed woman with hair that changed color depending on the light hopped out.

"Wow! I can't believe I finally made it to Duel Academy!" The woman declared as she ran down the pier to the rest of the island, forgetting her things.

"I wonder where everybody is..." She wondered as she walked down the road towards the main building.

Jack was walking around the outside of the main building, he saw someone heading his way, he just ignored them, he sat down against the wall and stared into the night time sky "I can't sleep after that long of a nap........" Jack said to himself, not caring who heard him "(I wonder how things will turn for me..........)" Jack thought closing his eyes to feel the wind on his face "..................."

'Hello. You must be our new Slifer Red Advisor, Miss...' Mr. Toshibo glanced down at some papers he was holding. 'Hitokuchi. Allow me to show you where the Slifer dorms are.' He started walking towards the Red dorms, saying, 'Please excuse any impoliteness from the other dorms, there has been a fued going on between the dorms for years.' He stopped at the Slifer Girls' Dorm. 'Here you are.' He said, holding the door open for her. 'I'll leave you to get settled. But please be as quiet as possible, most of the students should be sleeping by now. Your plane seems to have run a bit late.' He turned and walked outside, towards the Ra dorms, of which he was the advisor.

 

 

Blade got out of the large crate he was stowed away in first. He tossed his large knife into the air, before catching it skillfully by the tip and getting to work on the others' boxes. Zelkiax got out next, followed by Titin, Shade, and Mace. Blade shoved his knife into a pocket on his black coat, and then turned to Damian.

'Nice place.' Mace, a thickly built, short 15-year-old muttered.

'I don't care about that.' Damian snapped. 'Every single Wicked God is here. And I've got one of them.' He pulled out The Wicked Dreadroot, and the others all gasped at the coldness that seemed to emanate from it.

'So where's the others?' Titin, a giant of a man, rumbled. 'You said they were all here.'

'They are.' Zelkiax, a tall, skeletal boy, about 16, grinned. 'Can't you sense them? The Ra boy's dorm, and the Obelisk dorms.'

[Ace Daimon]

"Thank you, sir, but please, call me 'Hime'. Everyone does. And I can't wait to start in the morning!" She bowed, and as he left, she motioned for the porters who were carrying her belongings to come with her, and be quiet. They were, until one of them tripped on a loose board, and caused a very large crate to fall to the ground, making a very loud crashing noise and possibly awakening several students.

Shade, a thin 15-year-old boy who looked desperately in need of a good meal, rolled his eyes. 'I think we can all sense them. Just because Titin is, doesn't mean we're all too stupid to figure out where they are.' His voice was weak and raspy. 'And I think we also know that The Avatar is going to be harder to find. However,' At this he smiled. 'We know where to start looking.'

'Yes.' Zelkiax nodded. 'The Wicked Avatar is the only one that has been used in a duel so far. So naturally, we find the victim. Who lost the duel because of The Wicked Avatar?'

Mace paused for a moment before saying, 'Brendan.'

Damian nodded. 'Brendan was an Obelisk Blue who was in a three-way battle with another Blue named Dante and a red student. But Dante's the one we need. He won by using Avatar. So naturally, we find Dante, we find The Avatar.'

Violet was still surprised by the revelation of the Ra-Well Obelisk blue in front of her. As she was about to reply some kid in Slifer come out of the bushes demanding to duel Nikki, or he would tell about our little transaction. She opted to stay quiet as they dueled each other. After a while she turned to Nikki and said, "Andrew is the one you said beat right?" Once it was confermed she turned to the eevsdropper and winked, "Sorry, but this only happens once. Good luck in your duel, cause you're gonna need it." She said then ran off back to her dorm.

Jack pulled out one card "..... Thank you....." then he put it back, he wandered around, looking for someone to duel "(Dad...... I'll make you proud......)" Jack thought, "Heh.............. when will I get challenged to a promotional duel? I really want to get to Obelisk Blue.... uuuuuuuuuh............. I just really want to duel with the deck that dad gave me..........." Jack said to himself....... always thinking about Obelisk Blue.
