Nikki glanced at Jack strangely, then turned her eyes back on the duel.

 

Griffyn drew his card, and looked fairly pleased. 'First of all, I'll activate Rainbow Ruins's ability to let me draw another card, since I have four crystal spells. Also, don't forget that Gem Flash Energy hits you for 1200 damage, for the same reason.' 1400/2900 'Now, I'll summon Crystal Beast, Amethyst Cat. Direct attack for 600 damage! I'll use Emerald Tortoise's ability to swap her into defense mode' 800/2900 'I'll finish my turn by replacing Gem Flash Energy with Crystal Beacon, and special summon Ruby Carbuncle from my deck. Using her ability, I can bring all possible Crystals from the spell zone to the monster zone. Sapphire Pegasus, Topaz Tiger, Cobalt Eagle, rise, in defense mode!' Three Crystal Beasts rose up to join the Cat and Carbuncle, making a long wall seperating Aiden's monsters from Griffyn, including a large Emerald behind them, in Griffyn's spell and trap card zone.

Violet grinned drawing her cards, "My thoughts exactly Zack." She looked at her cards happy for a bette hand than her first duel. "Well, then since I can't normal summon anything you got me in quite of a bind."

 

"I don't plan on losing two duels in one day so you better get ready. I'm going to use the spell card, Puppeteer's Workshop. When I have no monsters on the field I can specil any puppet type with less than 1000 attack points fro either my hand, graveyard, or deck!" Violet took a card from her deck, "So I'll be playing my Poison Puppet(500/700)."

 

"Thanks to his special effect he can attack you directly!" She waited until the attack was done. " I then put him in defence mode. Next I play the trap Puppet Repair." She smirked, "You'll see what this does soon. I now place one card face down any end my turn."

"Now I do that again with my other two Graverobbers!" The arena disappeared. "Wha-" Then Crystal saw her deck, well, where her deck was anyway. I ran out of cards! The people around them started to laugh.

Cal stared at the guy who he had almost tripped over, who was laughing. Who the heck was this guy? And what was he doing? He had heard the girl in the duel call the boy he had fallen over "Zack." Slowly Cal backed away, going over to watch the duel. "I don't want anything to do with him!" Cal thought. "Now, let's see. Wow, that life point difference is significant! That girl must be pretty good." He looked at the events of the duel that had happened so far. "Hmmm.... She's using a Puppetteer deck. Looks pretty good, not good enough to beat the GHs, though. And he's using some kind of water deck." Interestedly, he watched to see what would happen next.

"Uggg" Zack drew 1 card. "Now I summon Attack Lock! I'm sure you know what this does. Anyway I play Lightning Vortex and Heavy Storm. Now that all 4 of my monsters have 2000 attack points I'll attack with them all for the game. Besides you cheated on that turn anyway. You weren't allowed to play spell or traps and you couldn't normal summon monsters." (Violet's LP: 0|Zack's LP: 1500) Now that thats done I got my first win as a Ra Yellow.

Also, replace the word ignored with negated.

IC: Brendon grimaced. Typically, they're both going after me. 'I summon X-Saber, Kirigato! [1700/200] Now I'll equip him with Junk Barrage! I set a card facedown, and attack Ironzen! You may be protected from the battle damage, but Junk Barrage still hits you for 500 points. End turn.'

Now I'll flip up my facedown Half-Tune! This turns Water slayer down to level four, but he can be used for two Synchro Summons! Synchro summon! Water Slayer with Drone summoner, and one Drone Token! Rise, Mist Wurm!' A huge worm appeared on the arena, spouting mist everywhere. 'Using his ability, I'll send Kirigato back to your hand. Now, Synchro summon! Water Slayer and Fusiliar Dragon! Rise, The Forbidden Aidoxe!' [3600/4200] Dante smiled, noting that both their fields were empty. 'Direct attack! Take out... Brendan.'

 

'Not so fast! I flip up Call of the Haunted, to revive Airbellum in defemse mode. Take the hit!' Brendan had survived, but Aidoxe gained even more attack points. [5200/4200] 3600/2700/3500

 

'Congratulations.' Nikki said dryly. 'When're you planning on your first loss?'

 

Tim smiled, realizing he had won. 'I'm a ra yellow!' He exclaimed, before running off to his dorm to pack up his stuff.

Violet blinked as once again she lost a duel, and this time in only two turns. Thats when she remember what he said, "What do you mean I cheated!? I didn-" It then hit her, "Oh that's right. You're darn trap and spell lock." She scratched the back of her head laughing nervously, "I completely forgot about that."

 

Vioe crossed her arms, "I really need to find a duelest that I can actually beat one of these days. But as my dad always said, you can win without knowing defeat."

'Yes you can.' Nikki said, walking past her. 'Think about it. Ever heard the term unbeatable? Well,' She lowered her voice, so that only Violet could hear her. 'Meet me behind the Ra yellow Girls' dorm tonight.' She winked at Violet, and walked off, leaving Violet to think about what she had just said.

 

Aiden grinned. 'I like a challenge. Feel free to give me one anytime now.' This prompted several cheers from some of the Reds who were watching.

'Go! Planet Pollutant Virus! Clean out every last Crystal!' The assortment of beasts on Griffyn's field turned into their signifying crystal, and Emerald Tortoise was sent to the graveyard to make room for the surge of spell cards. 'I summon Alien Mars! Direct attack!'

Griffyn grimaced as his life points decreased yet again. 800/1900 'Now, Cosmic Horror, direct attack!' Aiden yelled, sure that he had won. But there was one thing he hadn't counted on.

'I use Rainbow Ruins! Half my damage!' Griffyn still took damage. Lots of damage. But he had survived. 800/600 'My move! I draw a second card, and then use Rainbow Ruins to summon Topaz Tiger. Take out Alien Mars!' 500/600 'Hey, wait. That should have killed you! Alien Mars only has 1000 points! You're cheating!'

 

Damian paused, certain that another Wicked God had appeared. He turned and walked off, trying to sense where it was, as anybody with proper training could. But... He thought maliciously, Only I've been sent here to find them. The others can come here to keep the others busy, but I'm here to get them. In fact, the other boats should be arriving by tomorrow.

Violet followed the female Ra's movements until she couldn't see her any more. That was that Nikki girl that Tim had dueled earlier this morning. Her frow furrowed in confusion. Unbeatable?...There's no way anyone could be unbeatable in a duel. She thought. Even the best duelest has someone out there that's better than them. She continue to think about what Nikki said and had decided then and there that she would be sneaking out of her dorms tonight. "Can't say I'm not curious." She muttered that part to herself. "Hope I don't get caught..."

OOC: Can't believe I missed that... Replace all the Zach's in my post with Jack's.

 

Cal's almost supersonic hearing had picked up everything the Slifer and Ra girl had said to each other. "Behind the Ra girls' tonight, eh? Unbeatable? I'll show her unbeatable. After all, ghosts work better at night," he thought to himself. "As soon as she's done dueling that girl, I'll jump in and demand my own duel. I'll know her strategy, and she'll lose. Unbeatable, huh!" Cal walked away. As easygoing as he was, he hated hearing someone think they were perfect, or "unbeatable." Cal went to go take another nap, to ready himself for his duel that night. Besides, it was too bright right now for anything, anyway.

Aiden smiled serenely. 'Not quite. See, Planet Pollutant Virus infects all your monsters with a deadly alien sickness. A virus can hang around in the air for a long time, even after it's killed all its victims. Granted, it's not as strong after the initial epidemic, but it's still strong enough to give every monster that you summon an A counter, which will drop it by 300 points when it's battling an Alien. Plus, Alien Mars will negate your ability, which empowers Tiger by 400 points. I'm not cheating, you're just not listening. Now then, my move.' He drew his card, and smiled. 'I activate Otherworld, the A Zone! That means that everybody's weakened when fighting aliens, not to mention that your Rainbow Ruins are destroyed! Gang'iel, destroy Topaz Tiger. Endgame.'

Griffyn fell to his knees, as the holograms disappeared. Aiden walked up to him. 'Good game.' He held out his hand. Griffyn shook off an impulse to insult the Ex-Slifer student, and shook his hand. Aiden left to find Mr. Toshibo, to tell him about his victory.

"Ahhh... A nice clean victory." Zack said as he stepped into his room. Zack locked the room. Zack couldn't stop thinking about Violet though. Its like he was getting feelings for her. Zack had never really had a girlfriend ether though, so he needed to keep her happy. Zack went to sleep so he could get some shut eye. But he seemed to have some troubles falling asleep. So he grabbed a "Pop Tart" from his cooler and turned on the TV as he ate his "Pop Tart".

Jack lied down, then he got walked on by Zack...... again "UGH! I'd better move out of the way of the stairs.... unless I want to get stepped on again." Jack said before moving in the middle of where the duel was, then Jack fell asleep "Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......." Jack snored, dreaming of what it'd be like to be in Obelisk Blue "Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.... I summon Stardust Synchron.... Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..." Jack muttered in his sleep.

Damian nodded, and shrugged on his new Slifer Red jacket. Mr. Toshibo offered to show him where the Slifer Dorms were, but Damian shook his head.

'I know where it is.' He turned and walked back to the Red Boys' Dorm, the newest Slifer Student. When he entered his assigned room, he was surprised to see a 15-year-old boy sitting on the bed.

'And you are?' Damian asked Matthias coldly, as he placed his bag and duel disk, complete with his BlackWing deck, on the empty bed. Get a position on your opponent's team, and they have no way to protect themselves. Especially since I've already got Dreadroot.

Matthias glanced up at Damian as he entered the room. He regarded the question and thought he senced a welcome from somebody who didn't want to welcome him. "Matthias Rynos," he said. "Just got here. Who are you?" He smiled at the finish of his sentence, back home he could get ten people to snicker just by saying that. This wasn't home. He'd have to make his own rep here.

Damian glanced at him coldly, as he shuffled his deck and ran his eyes over his new dorm room. 'Shaadler. Damian Shaadler.' He shook a stray strand of blond hair off of his face, and it slowly fluttered down to the floor. The strange thing was, his hair was black. But Matthias had no chance to wonder about this, because Damian had already placed his deck in his pocket, and began unpacking his black bags, which lay on his new bed next to his black, obsidian-plated duel disk. Mainly black clothes. A thin black feather, for some reason. More black clothes. A leather jacket. A small black deck box, holding who knows what.

Matthias had always had a compelling force to know as little about somebody as possible. So, naturally, he didn't ask anymore questions. Until he thought about it. Hm. Wonder what's up with this guy. He looks like his uncle just died. Wow, he's looking at me like I should die. He thought that being in this situation, he could deviate from his normal procedure and inquire further. Getting up, he said, "Something the matter? Or do you just hate newcomers?" That's when he noticed everything Damian was messing with was black. Woah. Goth if I ever saw it. He took a quick glance down at his own bags,which he put on the floor after he came in, he had nothing to do then. But the only reason he came here was to get into trouble, and duel a little bit, so what better place to start than a conversation?

'No. Nothing's the matter. Nothing at all.' He said coldly, before flipping open the lid on the deck box at an angle so that Matthias had no way of seeing the card inside. The Wicked Dreadroot. First of the gods. Damian had it kept in an old card sleeve, on the back of which was written, in spidery writing, "The Wicked Dreadroot has revealed itself. The downfall of life has taken root." Damian grinned, and snapped the box closed, before replacing it in his bag.

Dante lay down on his bed, thinking about all that had gone on over the day. He had used Joe Bob's deck! That had never been done before. But before he knew it, Dante was asleep.

Dante was still sleeping at midnight, as Nikki snuck out of her dorm to meet with Violet.

Nikki eased open the door that led to her dormroom. If anybody caught her, it was over. Not that she couldn't conjure up a lie to get her out of trouble. But still, it was best not to get caught.

At midnight, Matthias was still thinking about the conversation he had with Damion. It just stuck at the back of his mind and he didn't know why. For some reason he couldn't accept that it was a strange goth kid he talked to. Something's up. Tomorrow. Tomorrow I'll question around. He lay staring at the ceiling, before turning and trying to go to sleep.Why do I think he's trying to hide something? He's just a normal kid... No. No he's not. He rolled around and tried to sleep. But he couldn't, he realized there would be no way to sleep at all.

After the duel with Zack, Violet quickly went bak to her dorm toget ready for tonight with Nikki. She was both worried, and curious at what Nikki could want with her. Violet sighed, laying down in her dorm that she didn't share with anyone. Before she knew it her eyes closed for a much needed nap.

"Crap!" Violet whispered after seeing the time. She was going to be late, and she hoped Nikki didn't mind if she was late. She hadn't ment to sleep that long, but apparently she was more tired than she realized.

 

Violet carefully looked around making sure there wasn't any teacher patrolling or anything. Soon she made it to the back of the girl's dorm for Ra yellow. There she saw Nikki and walked up to her. "Hey."

Jack woke up "Huh?" Jack sat up "OMFG!" What time is it! I hope I don't wake anybody up! Why am I yelling?!" Jack yelled, screaming his head off while running in circles "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Why am I screaming!? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Weird! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Why am I doing this?! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Way to weird for me! AAAAAAAAH!"

Forza placed his hand on his deck and then drew a card. This is getting out of hand. I better activate it now. Its not very likely that It'll reach me. "I'll activate my face down, bottomless shifting sand! Now at the end of my opponents turn the monster with the highest attack points is detroyed! Then I'll set a monster in defense mode. I'm not drawing any of my mizuonis! I miss their screeching when I summon them. First duel since I got back and I cant even draw my favourite cards! After this duel, I'm editing my deck. My babies deserve some action!

Cal tossed and turned in his sleep, dreaming. HE was on a blank island, surrounded by pitch-black waves. It was totally dark, yet he could somehow still see. His eight Ghost Heroes were surrounding him, defending him from something he could barely make out. Or, somethings. He could see the outline of a huge monster-like creature, the shape of a dragon, and the figure of a glowing orb. As he watched, the three creatures disintegrated three of the ghosts into dust, only to see them rise again from the ground. Cal smiled in his sleep. "Ghosts don't stay dead!" he thought. Just then, the three opposing creatures seemed to merge together into one huge monster. The monster raised its head, a glowing ball of energy forming in its mouth...then Cal woke up. "What was that?" he thought, then rolled over and went back to sleep.

Cal woke up again about midnight, ready for what was ahead. He jumped out of bed, and picked up his Ghost Heroes, looking at them for a second. "Thank you," he thought, "thank you for defending me against...whatever that was." He looked at them for another moment, then stuck them in his belt. "Time to have some fun!" he said out loud, then walked out of his dorm.

 

He snuck out of the boys' Ra Yellow dorm, not too hard since nobody was awake, then walked down to the girls' dorm. When he got behind it, he saw that the 2 girls were already there. He hid behind a bush, making no sound, like the ghosts he used in battle. He settled down, ready to watch the duel.

[Crystal Remnants]

Darren was fast asleep in his room. He slept peacefully, for everything was calm around him. Suddenly, he woke up. Darren sat up straight in bed, rubbing his tired eyes. Uggghhh... what's going on? Darren thought to himself. I must have woken up in the middle of the night. Well, no use going back to sleep. Darren got his duel disk and deck, and walked outside. He noticed a duel going on, but ignored it. Darren already watched a duel earlier. He didn't need to stand on the sidelines AGAIN, especially since he hadn't really met anyone yet. At this time of night though, he was sure that nothing important could be going on. Darren decided to keep walking, looking for something to do. Darren got bored, and decided to take a break. He saw a three-way duel going on, and decided to sit on a large rock nearby. Well... if I'm not gonna get anything done, might as well relax and watch this duel. Darren watched, still disappointed by the lack of excitement on what was supposed to be the greatest place for duelists to be!
