Duel Academy - Rise of the Wicked Gods (Started/No Longer Accepting)

"Awesome!" Zack said as he entered the room. "This is such a nice room!" Zack dropped his bags in the room. "Alright Violet lets go back and get the rest." Zack went out to the path to the Red Dorm with Violet. As they were walking asked something I think Violet wouldn't be very happy to answer. "Violet. Do you have a crush on me?" Zack said as he blushed. As they got closer he was wondering if she was going to answer the question, but he just decided to just to wait and see.

ooc: Awkwardness!

IC: Brendan nodded (He is an NCP, otherwise he would have an app, a different dorm, and he'd swear less, so therefore I can control him), and said, 'Help me own this worthless Slifer.'

Dante grinned and drew the first five cards from his deck, and was amazed at what he had drawn. Cumulative Fighter, Quick Swarm, Catatonic Pulse, Drone Summoner, Bill the Indestructable Wall? Where's all the Mokey Mokeys? He shook his head to himself, and began his turn.

'I'll summon a defense position monster and set two cards facedown. End turn.' And just now to start my turn I draw Suicidal Victory, what the heck is going on here? I've never heard of any of these cards, and they're all hugely powerful. A horrible thought struck him. Am I using... Joe Bob's deck?

Violet blushed and started fumbling over her words. "Well...um I-well um..." She bit her lip wondering if she should tell him the truth. "...W-well do you...like me?..." She mumbled not sure if he could hear her. She could barely hear herself, and was looking every where else but at Zack. Violet had long since stopped walking back to his old room, quite shocked and embarressed at his question.

OCG: Awkward...

IC: "Come Violet just from what you just did from that question I'd say you do like me. But I'd have to say I like you to." Zack and Violet had just gotten to the Red Dorm. "Alright lets get the last of my stuff. I'll take the Fridge and you take any other bags there are." Zack walked into the room and picked up the Fridge and waited for Violet to pick up the bags. As he did he took out an apple and toke a bite out of it.

ooc: More Awkwardness! I should have Joe Bob show up and ruin everything...

 

IC: It makes sense. Joe Bob is supposedly an incredibly powerful duelist, when he actually dueled. People said that the only duel he ever fought in was the battle with the previous headmaster, when he was put in charge. According to the people who were there, he used incredibly powerful cards, which few people had ever seen otherwise. Like Catatonic Pulse. That Ra student Phil had one. But nobody else had ever seen one other than that. He may as well have used nothing but the strongest, and rarest, cards in the game. Another thought struck Dante. He had put some of the Mokey Mokey cards aside, so the deck would fit in his duel disk. He looked through the pile of leftovers, and was amazed to see that there wasn't a single Mokey Mokey. Just Synchros and Fusions. Stardust Dragon, Armory Arm, The Forbidden Aidoxe, Blue Eyes Cyber Shine Dragon, Ultimate End Chimeratech Dragon, Cosmic Fortress Gol'Gar, Dragon Master Knight, Crystal Golem, Ocean Demon Archfiend, Ojama Lord, Astral Space Dragon, Cursed Necromancer, Chaos Lord Dracoknight - Envoy of Terror, and Photon Warrior were just a few. Dante had left about a half of the cards outside, in what was now his Extra Deck, meaning that he had about as many Fusions and Synchros as cards in his deck.

"Well since you know...I do like you...A lot actually." She said still not looking at him, and grabbed the last few bags in the room. Once she had the bags she and Zack made there way back to the Ra dorms. "What made you ask me a question like that?..." She couldn't help but wonder since it was kind of a random question. As they continued walking she kept glancing at Zack waiting for him to say something.

Jack arrived at the academy "... Duel Academy....." Jack said to himself as he entered the main building to get his dorm jacket, dorm info, what dorm color he was in "That that and that, ect ect" Jack said while opening the doors to the academy "(Blah blah blah ect ect..... yiu guys........ I know you'll be standing by me the whole time............ thank you.)" Jack thought holding up five specific Synchro monsters.....

"I don't know. . . It kind of seemed oveus. But the only reason I asked you to help is because I really like you." Zack answered with a red face. The fridge wasn't helping ether. It was so heavy. As they walked Zack stepped on some weird goop. "Ew!! That looks so gross. How am I going to get this off!" Zack dried to get some it off, but it was stuck to his shoe. Zack was getting so tired moving the fridge and dropped it. "Ugg I'm so tired."

Jack got out of the main building "Ok, yellow, I can work with that................. even though I was HOPING for blue because I'm related to champions................. I guess you can't rely EVERYTHING on who you know or are related to.... even though I thought that it also went by who you know or are related to...... oh well." Jack said walking in a random direction "I wonder where I'm going.... HAHA!" Jack laughed.

Mr. Toshibo followed Jack. 'You're in Ra dorm. I'll show you where it is.' He led Jack down to the Ra dorms, passing Violet and Zack, who seemed to be in a fairly awkward moment. Mr. Toshibo hurried along, before showing Jack his room. Coincidentially, the room was going to be shared with Phil and Andrew. Phil and Greg were chatting inside it at the moment though, Greg still certain that Zack should be still in Red. Phil was trying to argue against him.

 

Nikki sat down, leaning against a tree outside the girls' Ra dorm. She looked thorugh her deck, then looked through it again, making sure that every card was in place, especially Apep, Daemon Lord of Chaos. That card had won her hundreds of duels.

Violet stopped next by Zack. "Maybe we should rest for a while." She fixed the strap of the bags she was carring. "I would offer to help you but I wouldn't be able to lift it at all." She shrugged waiting for Zack to feel up to walking again. "You don't have to answer....Ok I want you to answer it...But," She paused blushing, "Were does that leave us?..."

After hearing what Mr. Toshibo said behind him Jack gasped "Oops, hope you didn't hear that." Jack said scratching the back of his head while following him "(Yikes..... if he DID hear me, that would be embarrassing....... not so good on my first day.......... I hope the people here are nice... even if I end up being merciless in a duel.)" Jack thought "........." "(I hope they don't mind if I have those cards..... what am I thinking? Sure they won't.)"

'Hope I didn't hear what?' Mr. Toshibo asked with mock suspicion. 'Are you plotting somthing both illegal, dangerous, and hypothetically impossible? Like that last statement of mine? Anyway, here's your dorm room. Phil, I got a new roommate for you.' He left.

'Hey.' Phil held out a hand. 'I'm Phil, this is Greg.'

Greg grunted incoherently, still in a bad mood.

'And I will be your dorm-mate for this evening. Well, actually, hopefully a bit longer than that.' Phil grinned, then turned back to Greg. 'And anyway, Greg, as I told you, Catatonic Pulse is an extremely overpowered card.'

'So if you aren't going to use it, why run it in your deck?' Greg asked moodily.

Phil smiled. 'Because if I put it anywhere else, I can't keep track of it. Seriously, some girl offered me a hundred bucks for it just the other day. Think what people would do to get it? I'm keeping the card.' He turned back to Jack, realizing that he probably had no clue what they were talking about.

'Greg here thinks I should have beat a Slifer kid named Zack, because I had lucked out and drawn some cheap card. I let him win, 'cuz if I can't win by skill, why should I win by luck?'

'He beat you by luck!!' Greg exploded.

"Jack, Jack Fudo, heir of champions!" Jack said shaking his hand "That I have no idea how multiple champions got into my bloodline! HAHAHA!" Jack said laughing "Sorry if I'm bragging though." then he turned to Mr. Toshibo "Nothing....." "(Phew... he didn't hear my complaining about being in Ra yellow when I'm related to champions........)" Jack thought "......." Jack sat on the bunk that he figured that was his and set seven Synchro monsters in front of him, the spirits of them appeared in front of him "(You guys have been standing by me my whole life...... thank you...)" Jack thought "Well, heir of CHAMPION related to the rest Yusei is really the only champion in a grandfather, father son ect you get the point right?"

OCG: Really awkward start.

IC: "I don't know we could kiss. . . Anyway I'm ready to keep going." Zack blushed as he picked up his mini fridge. He started walking into the Yellow Dorm to his room which appeared he had no room buddy's. Zack dropped the mini fridge at the side of the room and continued his apple. "Well thats all the stuff. . ." Zack sat on the bed and thought about the promotion duel. That promo duel was awesome! To bad Violet is still a red. . . Hey maybe he could ask her to challenge him and he would let her win to become a Ra! But that would be pretty hard.

Forza looked from one opponent to the other. I honestly didn't expect this. A three way duel. Weird. I've heard of four ways but not three ways. If we had one more it could have been a two on two. Not that this isn't enough. Oh well, time to have some fun "Ok, I'll draw!" Forza said as he drew a card and added it to his hand. Hmm, not bad. Not bad at all. "I think I'll follow the fine example you've shown us! I'll set a monster in face down defense position and another two face downs behind it. Your turn brendon." Forza paused for a moment as his thought process whirled its little gears at maximum speed. He turned to his other opponent. "I don't know your name. I like to know who I'm dueling, you know? So, what's your name? Mine's Lake, Forza Lake"

 

(ooc: I just realised that my timezone's about 12 to 14 hours ahead of most of you. Groans)

She blushed at what he sugested but didn't say anything about it, and followed after him towards the yellow dorms. Once there she put his bags down with the rest of his stuff. "Hey Zack, I'm gonna-" She paused when she realized that he wasn't listening, and instead being deep in thought.

 

She smiled, "Hey, whatcha thinking about?" She thought for a bit, "If it's about me still being in Slifer, don't worry about it. I'll get in eventually...It'll just take some time thats all." She shrugged, "Now, how about that duel you wanted?"

 

Violet walked to the door, "Put on your new jacket, and I'll see you outside for that duel. That is if you don't mind losing your first battle as a Ra." Violet winked before leaving.

After Jack was finished talking to the spirits, he edited his deck, after that he decided to go outside for a minute, he walked outside and sat on the first few steps of the Ra dorms "(Dad....... I'll make you proud!)" Jack thought while staring into the sky, then he decided to lay down on the grass and stare into the sky "....... I'll make you proud......" Jack said out loud, closing his eyes "(I will........ I will......)" Jack thought.

Zack put on his Ra Yellow Jacket and went outside to meet Violet. "Alright I'll take the first turn." Zack said as he drew 5 cards from the top of his deck. Oooooo. Unlocked Stone Cage. That card will surely suppress her. "Alright I play the spell card Unlocked Stone Cage! This card allows me to Special Summon 3 monsters from my hand or deck. So I'll Special Summon Monster Lock, Spell Lock, and Trap Lock. That all has a price of 6000 Life Points though(Zack's LP: 2000|Violet's LP: 8000). Anyways all you can do now is special summon monsters. That'll end my turn. And you know even if we might be boyfriend girlfriend I will not let you win."

Jack got walked over by Zack (Jack was right by the stair case), then he saw that a duel was going on between a Slifer and a Ra, he sat up "Wow, I never knew that I could look flat when I lay down in the grass! HAHAHA!" then Jack turned to the Ra student "You walked all over me when you came outside.......... ow........" "(Man........ I hope he didn't MEAN to do that........... that would be horrid....)" Jack thought.

[Huh?]

Cal woke up. Sure, it was three in the afternoon, but that was just how Cal worked. He slept through the day, and did most of his living at night. Just like his cards. Dueling at night made him feel like his cards were more usable, since ghosts don't normally like daylight. He felt more alive at night. Cal rolled out of bed and fell onto the floor. "Oof," he thought, then pushed himself up. Still groggy, he looked around at his unusually tidy, at least for most people, room, trying to get the bearing of his surroundings. After a minute, he remembered where he was. He sighed, then put on his clean yellow jacket, and put his deck in his belt. His cards wouldn't like dueling in this sun, so he decided just to watch some duels. Blinking when the sun reached his eyes, he exited his dorm. Because of the blinking, he almost ran over a Slifer student laying down in the doorway. Stumbling, he said, "You might want to watch where you lay down. Lots of other Ra's that I know will step on you on purpose. Just a warning." He looked around through the afternoon sunlight and saw a Slifer and a Ra dueling each other. "Looks like fun," he thought, and walked towards the duelists.

IC: Brendon grinned. 'You're going down, Slifer Slacker! I summon X-Saber Airbellum! Now I'll equip him with Big Bang Shot and Sword of Sparkles. Airbellum, attack Dante's defensive.'

Dante raised an eyebrow. 'You've hit Drone Summoner. His ability prevents him from being destroyed when he's attacked if facedown. Name's Dante Brimston.'

Brendan shrugged. 'Big Bang Shot still pierces through for 400 damage!'

Dante-3600 Brendan-4000 Forza-4000

'Now you have to discard a card.' He smiled.

'Ok then. I'll toss out Cummulative Fighter. Now It's my turn.' Dante drew a card from his deck, and his eyes widened. He had only seen this card once before. 'I activate Drone Summoner's ability to summon two drone tokens. Now I'll tribute both of them to summon Water Slayer of the Abyss! Synchro Summon!' The warrior, holding a translucent blue sword, turned into eight shining stars, before reforming into eight rings of light, which surrounded his Drone Summoner. 'Rise, The Forbidden Aidoxe!' A form appeared, that looked strangely similiar to Exodia [2300/4800]. 'Now, attack! His ability lets him take out every monster at once!'

Brendon took a step back as his X-Saber monster was destroyed. Then Aidoxe turned to Forza's defensive monster, as his attack score increased by 2000.

OOC: OMG Sooooo srry I took so long, things have been crazy. Anyways, I'll try to figure out what's going on, so here it goes.

 

IC: Darren walked off the boat, his open yellow jacket flapping in the breeze. He smiled as he marveled at the amazing Duel Academy. Darren had only his backpack and duel disk as he got on the island. He looked down at his desk, and spoke so no one could hear him. "Well guys... we're here. I guess the first few things we should do is get settled in. Then we better make some new friends. Finding that card can wait till later." Darren smiled as he said this. He jogged to the yellow dorm, and walked into his room. Darren set down his backpack on the far side of the room, and took only his deck and duel disk as he headed outside. Even though Darren was new to Duel Academy, he had found out everything he needed to know about getting adjusted. "Time to go find out what's going on," Darren thought to himself. Darren walked outside, and found a duel going on between two boys. Darren walked over to watch silently, as to not disturb the duelists. He made sure to stand back enough to try and not bother the two focused boys. "Heh... this should be interesting."

IC: Tim sat down, dejected. He had lost two Promotional duels in a row. That sucked.

 

Aiden and Griffyn were having a close duel.

'I flip up my facedown Topaz Tiger. Attack Alien Shocktrooper!' Aiden grimaced as he lost another 100 life points. Aiden-2600 Griffyn-4900

'My go. I'll tribute Cobalt Eagle for Cosmic Horror - Gang'iel. Now I'll use his ability to put a second A counter on Sapphire Pegasus. And I'll have my Corruption Cell A pop one on Tiger. Now, Alien Hunter, take out Pegasus.' 2600/4500 'And using his ability, attack the Tiger as well.' 2600/4200 'Gang'iel, direct attack!'

'Not so fast. My Rainbow Ruins lets me half the damage, because of all my crystals in the spell and trap card zone.' Griffyn grinned. You ain't gettin' rid of me that easily, Slifer. 2600/2900

Jack had been thinking about how his first day had been going "(Heh, only about two hours and I already want a promotional duel to get into Obelisk Blue......... aww well, just better enjoy my time, I'll just wait until I'm challenged to a promotional duel, I don't want to sound desperate to get into Obelisk Blue................. even if I am.)" Jack thought while still watching the duel "Heh..." "HAHAHA!" Jack just started bursting out laughing for no reason.
