As Dremius was summoned to the field, Kay gave a confident smile. "Not so fast there Dreamius! I activate my face-down card! Automatic Laser! When you summoned Dremius, whose ATK is more than 1000, I can reveal one Iron Core of the Koa'ki Meiru to destroy your monster! Sorry Dreamius, but it looks like you'll have to think of another strategy at the moment! And at my next turn, I'll introduce you to my Rooklord!" Kay exclaimed with enjoyment and confidence. "(Hehe, I'm really enjoying this duel! And I can tell that Dreamius has more tricks up his sleeve than that! I better be careful.)" Kay thought to himself.

"I'm guessing that you haven't been paying attention to his effect, heh. Because Automatic Laser is a Spell/Trap, I can negate it's activation! And because of that, Iridescent Sanctuary gains one counter! So far, there are 2 counters!" Dremius grinned at him. "After all, Dremius pretty much reveals the entire nature of my entire deck! It's pretty much pointless to destroy with card effects! Rooklord isn't going to have an as easy time as you once thought, now!" Dremius laughed merrily.

'I've never been beaten in two turns before.' Andrew said, laughing at the memory.

Nikki smiled. 'I've never beaten somebody so pathetic as to lose in two turns.'

Andrew laughed. 'I almost had you.'

'No chance.' Nikki said under her breath.

'Hey!' Andrew exclaimed, shoving Nikki.

'You do know you were doomed, right?' Nikki asked, pushing him back.

'Yup.' Andrew nodded sagely. 'And that is why I never duel you anymore. I mean, the first few thousand times, it was fine. Then-'

'And then you learned that I never lose.' Nikki finished with a laugh. Andrew nodded, as Aiden walked up to them, a grave expression on his face.

 

 

 

Joe Bob opened his eyes, and stood up from his tea party with a rock, a duel disk, and Mr. Fluffums, a stuffed cat.

'I'm sorry, Mr. Fluffums, but I have to go.' Joe Bob told the cat. Then he turned and began walking back to his office, leaving a tea party on the roof of the Obelisk Dorms.

IC: Jack took the damage "UGH!" Jack fell down, when he got back up, smoke was flowing off him "I activate my trap card!" Jack declared while moving his hand to the face-down on his right as it lifted up "Stardust Revival! With this trap whenever I take damage from a direct attack I can Special Summon Stardust Dragon or a Synchro monster with Stardust Dragon as a Synchro Mateial monster!" Jack explained "So I Special Summon! Stardust Dragon!" Jack yelled as Stardust Dragon returned to his side of the field.

'It's not good.' Aiden told Nikki and Andrew simply. 'The people in the Infirmary. None of the medicines seem to work on this coma, whatever it is.'

'They can't be saved.' Nikki said simply, as her smiled vanished once again. 'There's no hope for them now. Everybody you tried to save... Titin, Agatha, Dominic, Mace, Blade, Zephyr, Shade, Maria, Wayne, they're all gone. And they aren't coming back. Ever.'

Andrew nodded, as Aiden turned and began running back to the infirmary. 'So that leaves who?

Nikki ihnaled and began reeling off names that meant nothing to him.

'Daniel. Lyn, Damian, and Richard. Zelkiax and Mark.' Nikki sighed. 'So few survive the Wicked Gods.'

'Wait, what!?' Andrew asked, alarmed. 'The Wicked Gods? What do you know about the Wicked Gods?'

Gaspard looked off into space and said..."ohhh great. They're here." Alexis looked where he was looking and asked "who?" Gaspard replied "everyone. The gods, wicked gods and the mystical gods. Alexis looked at Gaspard and said "and we have the supreme soldiers now which is great." Gaspard looked at her and said "Well, we still have some other Soldiers to find. After all, there are are Zeus, Poseidon, Prometheus, Hades, Gaia, and Helios to find. Alexis nodded and she asked Soldier of Strategic War- Athena to come out and she did. Athena looked at her and said "What do you require young one?" Alexis stood firm and said "We need to find the other Supreme Soldiers, where are they?" Athena glared at her and said "They will all come on certain nights and appear in your army. On a night of thunder and water. Poseidon and Zeus will appear. On a hot day when the ground is cooked. Helios and Gaia will appear. And on the day when you have found the others. Hades and Prometheus will appear and challenge you."

 

Alexis nodded and said "Yes Athena. I thank you for your advice." Athena went back into the deck.

Gaspard looked at Alexis and said "Well she is the Soldier of Strategic War. Summon Soldier of Thunder and Shining Water. Alexis looked at him with surprise and said "oh, I get it. and we can get these all in one day, yes?" Gaspard nodded. Pikachu and Aqua appeared out of the deck. Gaspard said "do your thing. Soldier of Thunder shot lightning into the sky and it began storming. Soldier of Shining Water shot water into the sky and it began raining. Alexis's deck glowed. Alexis said "alright back in." Gaspard sent out Soldier of Molten Rock- Iroh and Soldier of Shrouding Earth- Terra. Terra made the sky grow dark and Iroh made the ground hard and hot. Alexis's deck glowed. Alexis said "alright guys back in." Alexis's deck glowed bright brining everything back to normal. A glowing door appeared and Alexis walked through.

Nikki smiled weakly. 'Everything. Daniel was my brother. That means I had a whole family I knew nothing about. We got split up in a fire when I was born. Daniel and Richard escaped. So did I, but we never came across each other. The Wicked Gods caused that fire. They're evil, Andrew. Pure evil. If they'll do that...'

'Burn down your house.' Andrew supplied. 'Killed your mother, and left you...'

'To die.' Nikki finished, before turning to look at Daniel's face, so peaceful looking now that he no longer had anything to worry about. Is death truly the only way to escape this madness? Nikki asked herself. Is losing a spirit duel truly such a bad thing, with so many evils in the living world? Is dying?

 

Maria groaned and sat up slowly on the bed, clutching her head.

'Wh-what happened?' She asked the students who were crowding around her with amazed expressions on their faces.

'Where am I?'

Aiden knealt down beside the bed.

'You're in the Infirmary. Do you remember what happened?'

Maria groaned. 'I dueled somebody. A boy.'

'What colour jacket?' Aiden asked gently.

Maria shook her head weakly. 'Not a student. Daddy called him R-' She caught her breath, and began swaying, her eyes closed.

'Get water!' Aiden commanded another student, who nodded and ran off. He turned back to Maria.

'Are you okay?' He asked her gently, patting her on the back.

Maria shook her head, gagging slightly at the taste of bile in her mouth.

'It's okay, it's okay.' He began repeating as Maria gradually stopped swaying. She opened her eyes weakly, but determinedly.

'Ravax.'

And then she blacked out.

"Hehe, pretty good move there Dreamius! Let's see if I can try anything to stop you." Kay stated as he drew his card. "Guess my plan backfired on me, well let's try this! I'll activate Heavy Storm to clear the field of any speels and traps! Next up, I'll summon my Koa'ki Meiru Speeder in attack mode! But that's not all folks, I'll then play Double Summon! Now I like to introduce you to my friend, Koa'ki Meiru Rooklord! And thanks to Rooklord's special effect, I can summon him with one Koa'ki Meiru tribute!" As Speeder disappeared from the field, Rooklord rose up in its place, towering over Dremius and Dreamius. "And wait, there's more, when Rooklord is summoned, I can destroy up to two cards on the field, and I choose to destroy your Dremius, and since my Rooklord is neither a spell or trap, your monster's effect is invalid my friend!" Rooklord turned towards Kay. "Hey Kay, is it time to attack?" "Oh right, since your field is rendered empty, Rooklord attack him directly, but be gentle!" "No problem." Rooklored then swung his fist at Dreamius.

Dremius smiled. "Hold on there, Kay! I activate the effect of my Iridescent Sanctuary by removing one counter! I negate your Rookwood's effect! As for your Heavy Storm, I activate 'Divine Embrace'! It negates the activation of a card effect that destroys one or more cards in my Spell or Trap Zones! Also, Iridescent Sanctuary now has 2 counters once more, because of 'Divine Embrace's' second effect!" Oh, my! I just very nearly made it out of that one! That's two times I saved my Dremius! I have to be on my guard for anything else he might do!

"It's my turn, huh? First thing's first, I'd like you to meet, once more, Dream Hero - Kiuren, the Dragon of Dreams!" A turquoise colored baby dragon appeared and snapped it's jaws playfully at Rookwood. "Next, I use "A Friend from the Past" to bring back Dremius! I Synchro Summon Dremius and Kiuren to bring out... Dream Hero - Kiuren, the Sacred Dragon!" Three silver rings and four green orbs appeared out of nowhere. Both Kiuren and Dremius jumped through the rings and they faded away. The rings came together and there was a blinding light! After the light disappeared, an enormous dragon the size of a small house appeared in their place. "After this, I activate Shining Soul Burst! It increases the ATK of a LIGHT Synchro Monster by 600 until the End Phase! Attack Rookwood!

Jack stated "I equip Silver Wing to Stardust Dragon! Now I activate Release Restraint Wave! I destroy my Equip Spell to destroy all Spell and Trap cards on your side of the field!" Jack explained as all of non-Alex's Spell and Trap cards got destroyed "Now I equip Shooting Star Bow - Ceal to Shooting Star Dragon! Now by decreasing Shooting Star Dragon's attack points by 1000! He can attack directly this turn! Now I activate Shooting Star Dragon's special ability! Now I reveal the top five cards of my deck! And Shooting Star Dragon can attack equal to as many Tuner monsters are in those five cards!" Jack explained as he placed his right hand on the top of his deck "(I bet it all on these five cards..... If I miss two of them, it's all over! I only need four.)" Jack thought as he saw his friends and family in his head "(These draws..... also have part of the the fate of the world in them..... part of the fate of the world rests on my shoulders....)" Jack thought before opening his eyes "First card! Tuner monster: Junk Synchron! Second card! Tuner monster: Effect Veiler! Third Card! Tuner monster: Nitro Syncron! Fourth card! Tuner monster: Turbo Synchron! Fifth card! Tuner monster: Hyper Synchron!" Jack declared as Shooting Star Dragon split in five dragons in different colors "Go! Shooting Star Dragon! End this duel with Shooting Star Flare!" the damage from Shooting Star Dragon's attack made a crater that stretched out to Jack's feet, the dust and smoke that was flying around was heading in all directions. Shooting Star Dragon flew into the air and shined brightly for the whole island to see.

'But the question is,' Nikki said after a time, 'What do you know of the Wicked Gods?'

Andrew looked taken aback. 'I, uh, nothing.'

Nikki glanced at him. 'Tell me.'

'Nothing!' Andrew promised.

'Tell me.' Nikki said again, more forceful this time.

Andrew sighed. 'Fine.'

'It's wasn't much at first. Just a dream. You know how dreams are really random like that? Well, this person was saying... certain things... and then I was dueling this guy, and he... became... The Wicked Dreadroot. At that time, I didn't know who that was. But now I do. So we were dueling, and then he defeated me, and I woke up in the hospital. I didn't know how I got there. My parents were there, and the doctor was talking about a major concussion.'

"Why? What's so important that I'm here?" Zack said as confusion flooded his mind. "Where's Joe Bob? I'm helping Violet take her stuff to her new Ra yellow room. But we don't know which room she's in." Zack said walking up to the woman. "What's so important that you have to tell me? I mean I can't stand around all day!" Zack said clearly into the woman's ear. He walked back and fourth.

ooc: Robyn isn't a woman... She's probably about Septimus' age, and he's younger than most students...

IC: Robyn glared at him coldly.

'-here.' She finished, as Joe Bob took in the four people in his office. His eyes focused on Septimus.

'Eventually I figured it out;' Andrew continued. 'I had been dueling a friend of mine, and then I tripped and fell or something and hit my head against the ground. Hard. So then he rushed me to the hospital. When I finally got home, I tried to figure out everything I could about the Wicked Dreadroot. I learned its abilities, its weaknesses, everything about it. I learned about the other two Wicked Gods, and eventually I learned everything about them, too. Then I found this website...'

Nikki frowned slightly. 'Order of the wickeds'

'Bingo.' Andrew said with a grimace. 'And then I learned way more than I was looking for...'

Alexis stepped inside the door and she appeared in "Soldier's Temple" The Supreme Soldiers were sitting in chairs. Zeus looked at her and said "Behold, one of the sacred deulist." Poseidon looked at her and yelled "This is nonsense. She is a mere child. There is no way the Chaos and Infinity approved of her!" Hades replied "Well she got them somehow. And cool down Poseidon. You've seen her skills." Poseidon pouted and gave an angry look at Alexis. Gaia looked at Poseidon and said "shut your mouth this instant. And by the looks she has a card spirit following her. It's also living. how interesting." Prometheus thought and said "He must be her lover. I sense an old friend in that spirit." Athena replied "He is the Supreme King reincarnated." Helios said "Well this is interesting. She also emits the aura of a spirit as well." Athena said "She is the Spirit Maiden. She is the princess of course."

They all looked at Alexis with inspection. Zeus asked "Who are we going to have duel them?" Athena stood up and said "I will. I am the Soldier of Strategic War after all. Hades also stood up and said "I am the Soldier of Death."

Zeus said it is decided. both of you will will duel Hades and Athena. Hades looked at Gaspard and said "I'm your opponent Gaspard. The underworld is looking for a new Reaper. how bout it?" Gaspard replied "No!"

Athena walked up to Alexis and said "Let us shake hands and we'll see who is the better general." Alexis nodded and said "I'll try my hardest."

Violet didn't know what was going on. Zack was talking to some girl about meeting her in the shadow realm. The shadow realm....That's the place Zack was at when his body was taken over by that evil duel spirit. I wonder who this girl is...She's giving me a weird feeling. Violet thought eyeing the girl closely. Then Joe Bob, who they had been looking for, appeared right in front of us. He apparently knew this girl. "This is weird...."

The man was impressed by what he had just seen Jack do "(Hmmm I can't take him on myself...... I'll have to gather more than just one other.....)" the man thought before looking ti the sky at Shooting Star Dragon and then back at Jack. As the dust cleared "Jack Fudo..... You may be strong but the Supreme Order will show you no mercy like this weakling." the man explained while pointing at the non-Alex who just got fried by Shooting Star Dragon "You may hold the power of the Accel Synchro and the Majestic Synchros. But there are forces far more stronger than us and his pathetic order. Forces stronger than the Machine Emperors, forces stronger than the Earthbound Immortals. This, is all that I may tell you." the man explained as a rift appeared behind him, he turned around "Until we meet again.... Jack Fudo." the man stated before disappearing in the rift.

'I have Ravax because I am strong, and you were too weak a host!' She sneered.

'You learned everything.' Nikki breathed. Andrew nodded.

'I learned everything.'

'Then teach me.' Nikki begged. 'Because nobody's bothered to tell me anything about all of this. I heard of Spirit Duels and Wicked Gods, but I don't know what those mean. I don't understand what's going on. Tell me everything.'

Andrew exhaled quietly.

'The Wicked Gods are a set of powerful cards. Level-twelve dark fiends. Each require three tributes, and each has its own powerful ability. The Wicked Avatar has attack points always just above the strongest other monster, and negates spells and traps for-'

Tim sprinted up to them.

'Aiden wants to know,' He gasped, 'Who's the little girl?'

'Maria.' Nikki said slowly. I don't like where this is going...

A grin split Tim's face. 'Then Maria's okay.'

"Not so fast there! I play my Negate Attack to stop your attack!" Kay then saw Dreamius ending his turn by placing two face-down cards onto his duel disk. "My turn! I'll activate Dimension Draw! By paying 1000 LP and by removing a number of cards from play, I can draw cards equal to the number of cards I removed from play from my graveyard! And I remove all seven cards to draw seven cards!" Kay drew seven cards and looked closely at them. "Alright, first up I'll summon my Koa'ki Meiru Negater in attack mode, as long as Negater is on the field, all card effects on the field are negated except for this card's effect. So that means other than Negater, all other cards' effects are useless. And now I'll attack your Kiuren with my Rooklord!" Rooklord swung his fist at Kiuren with immense force.

The one I choose, is Dream Hero - Kiuren, the Dragon of Dreams!" Once more, the familiar dragon appeared and snapped it's jaws and growled in anger of being destroyed. "I'll use once more, a face-down 'A Friend from the Past' to bring back Dremius! After that, I Special Summon, 'Dream Hero - The Iridescent Dragon of Hope' in Defense Position, by tributing monsters that can be used to Synchro Summon Kiuren, the Sacred Dragon and removing from play a 'Dream Hero - Kiuren, the Sacred Dragon' my graveyard!" An golaith dragon, colored the same way as Kiuren, 3 times bigger than Kiuren, the Sacred Dragon had appeared out of the ground and roared menacingly. "This is my ace card in this deck! Now, I activate 'Whirlwind of Fortune' to remove from play Dremius and Kiuren, which were tributed this turn to draw 2 cards!" He took two cards from the stack on his duel disk and added it to his hand. He smirked confidently and placed one face-down. "Turn End!"

'Not important, come on!' Tim led Nikki and Andrew to the Infirmary, where the amazed students were looking at Maria, who was sitting up and trying to recount the events that had happened to Aiden.

'And so then, we came to Duel Academy,' She was saying, 'so we could pick up my friend, Lyn. She wanted to go home.'

Nikki was impressed at how well such a young girl, who had just woken up from a coma, was lying.

'And because her mommy and daddy were busy, we got to go instead. And since daddy didn't want grandma to stay alone, she came, too. But then when we got here there were these bad people, who Lyn said were going to hurt us, and then...' Maria trailed off, as she caught sight of Nikki.

Zeus Stood up and said "The rules of the duel are .You may only attack the person you have been chosen to go against unless your teammate has fallen. You may support your teammate though. All life points will be 50,000.

Gaspard smirked and said "Alright, my move. I play Cyber Stein and activate his effect to special summon Cyber End Dragon. Now I equip him with 2 megamorphs. He has a total of 16,000 attack points now. Now I play pot of greed. Now I set 3 face downs and end my turn.

Hades thought for a moment and said "I play the Cheerful Coffin and send 3 Dark Magicians to my grave. Now I remove them from play to special summon Dark Armed Dragon.

Gaspard said "quick play spell activate. Limiter removal. Cyber End Dragon's attack is now 32,000. Next I chain it with Ring of Destruction along with Barrel Behind the Door. Cyber End Dragon was destroyed and Hades lost 64,000 life points.

Hades stepped backwards and went back to his chair.

Now I play Symbols of duty and select Myself as the target. Now I attack Gaspard directly.
