Matthias was slowly grasping the pain he was made to endure. He saw one of them who had helped him up run off, somebody had said his name, but he was in a frenzy then. Wait, the other was already gone too, and the one that, he thought he heard call first was the last one here. He noticed the worried glances she cast him. I must really look terrible... Why do I have to be so helpless! He then remembered the fluid he was going to use to burn one of the buildings... and didn't feel the familiar bulge in his pocket. Did I land on it? No, my pocket isn't wet, and my leg isn't hurting there, the glass would have went into it. I must have dropped it on the way down. His face was twisted in pain, and he was trying madly to control it, for fear of looking weak. "This hurts." Was all he could mutter.

"Hey..Uh Matthias right. Well you'd never guess what had happened to me earlier. I dueled twice in one day and lost both of my promo duels. Can you believe that? Then I was taken pitty on by this Ra, and I can't really let you know what had happened but yeah. Also that guy, Aiden, yeah he was one of the guys I lost against." Violet then started rambling about anything that came to her mind. She was trying tojust talk, to keep his mind off of the pain, but with how his face portraied the pain he was in, she figured it wasn't working.

Matthias took in most of what Violet was saying, it didn't lessen the pain, but it gave him something else. These people here actually want to help me? That seems odd. Back home, if a kid was better than you, you hated him, and you plotted to destroy him. Even while pretending to not want to. My only real friends were non-duelists, or others who I never challenged to a competition. Matthias actually liked this so much he almost managed a smile. But the pain clouded back. Okay, this is getting worse, where's all that help they were talking about! He knew one solid thing about getting hurt, if somebody does it to you, your mad at them. But if you do it by accident, your mad at yourself. He wasn't screaming at himself just then. Startled, and completely ingorning the intense pain he had, he sat up and checked his Slifer jacket pocket. He pulled out his deck and started leafing through it. No! So that's what happened. Somebody just jacked me! Then, spilling his cards everywhere, he jerked back down. The pain comes in waves, how great.

Aiden ran into the Arena, telling every Ra student he could find. Phil, Greg, Frank, Daniel, Andrew. He ran up the stairs to Joe Bob's office, where he found Joe Bob talking with Zack, who was for some reason holding two Mokey Mokey cards. There was a stack of cards on the desk. It was upside down, but Aiden could only see the bottom card. Mokey Mokey. He ignored it.

'Principal Joe Bob, it's Matthias. He broke his leg. Come quick.' He gasped, having sprinted all the way there. Joe Bob promptly fell out the window. Aiden, shaking his head, turned and started to run out, before slipping on another Mokey Mokey. Cursing, he stood up, and ran out.

 

 

Griffyn ran up to Nikki and Cal, gasping for breath. 'Matthias. He broke... his leg... Come quick!' He turned and ran back. Nikki glanced at Cal, smiling slightly. 'I guess we'll have to do this again some time.' She said with a wink, before running after Griffyn.

 

 

'Good job, Dom.' Lyn said, as they walked hand-in-hand towards their new dorm, Slifer Red. Dominic nodded, smiling. If it weren't for the Wicked Gods, he realized that he would have been perfectly happy at that moment. Which shows just how impossible it is to know the future.

 

'I summon Vorse Raider. Now, take down Iron Chain Coil!' 3200/4000 'End turn.'

'My move then.' Blade grinned. 'I activate monster reborn! Revive Chain Coil. Now go, Iron Chain Snake! Ability activate, to weaken Vorse Raider by 800 points. Chain Coil, attack! But first, ability activate! 300 point boost! Now take him down!'

3200/3700 'And Chain Snake takes out the top four cards from your deck. Poison Chain, wipe out another one!'

Violet sighed and opted to just stay quiet. She stood up, having been previously kneeling next to Matthias, and looked around. "Where are they? They've been gone for a while." She mumbled looking back down at Matthias, as he began looking through his cards blocking out the pain for as long as he could. She turned back around looking through the darkness, hoping that Aiden and that other guy was on their way back with some help.

Aiden led the group of Ra students, along with Mr. Toshibo, to Violet and Matthias. Griffyn, followed by Nikki, arrived moments later. Mr. Toshibo instantly knealt down next to Matthias. He pulled out a small bottle of liquid that he had grabbed hurriedly when Aiden had told him about Matthias. Nobody knew what it was. But Mr. Toshibo uncapped it and poured some of it into Matthias' mouth.

'Painkiller.' He muttered to the surrounding students, sitting back to wait for it to kick in. 'Soon as it starts working I'll take you back to the infirmary. Don't worry, Matthias, you'll be fine.'

A young boy, maybe twelve years old, walked to the front of the group of Ras who were hanging back, not sure what to do. 'The Wicked Gods did this to him.' He breathed, before vanishing into the group of Ra students.

 

 

'I summon-'

'You can't.' Shade grinned. 'Ojama Trio clogs up your field, and Ground Collapse limits you to three monsters. You're powerless!' He drew a card. 'I tribute Grave Protector to summon Horus the Black Flame Dragon, Level 6! Take down that Ojama! Now I'll use his ability to grow two levels! Horus Level 8, rise! This cancels any hope you might have of using Spell cards.' 4000/3700

 

'Hayabusa Knight, [1000/1000] Attack his defensive!' Mace's foe cried out, to no avail.

'Nimble Momonga. I summon two more in defense mode!'

His foe took a step back, but quickly regained his composure. 'Hayabusa Knight, double attack!'

Mace drew a card, as his life points increased further. 'Time to play.' 6000/4000

Matthias felt the liquid get poured down his throat. He was alright with taking some painkiller juice. Just great. First night here and I get horribly injured. Then he saw the Ra Yellow boy, and he heard what he said. Nobody else seemed to notice. Then he remembered his suspicions about having gotten pushed, and how he was robbed. A momentary force on his back as he was bounding down the hill. Then he remembered the fall, his leg was only the first to go, he landed awkwardly on it first, then a small rock has sliced his arm, his elbow, knuckles, and knees were just hard landings. He was unconcious before the final hit to the ground. But it started with just a force, or maybe it was a push.

She sighed relieved as she heard hurried footsteps coming her way. In order not to get ran into, she moved away from Matthias just as Mr. Toshibo came forward kneeling down, and gave Matthias some painkillers. She noticed that there were even more Ra's behind Mr. Toshiba, but quickly dismissed it when she kneeled down to help Matthias pick up his deck. I'm glad they got here when they did. Matthias didn't look like he would be able to stand the pain for much longer.

Candice got up to play her turn, but then she noticed that her vision was a bit blurry. She took off her glasses, and she could see perfectly. She also looked down to see that her outfit was starting to change from her Slifer Red uniform into a skimpy clownish parody of the costume, and her body was becoming paler and more buxom as well. She looked over at the Clown Princess and was stunned to hear a small voice in her head tell her that the Clown Princess was her mistress. "What is happening to me?!?" She cried out in fear.

[Ace Daimon]

The Clown Princess observed Candice's changes and replied. "That is the nature of this duel. Every time you lose Life Points, your ba merges with your ka, creating something in between Duel Monster and human. You will be able to look human to other humans, but to Duel Monster Spirits, you will appear as a Clown Warrior. also, whenever I summon your card, you will fall unconscious, and you will become the summoned monster until the end of the duel. Is that clear?"

[The White Wolf]

"Right! Huh! My cards! UGH!" Jack yelled before searching the cards on the desk until he got his cards back, putting the Mokey Mokeys in their places before running out....... looking for the boy that handed him Uria, he searched high and low, well low because Slifer was taking the skies "Ugh! WHERE IS HE!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Jack yelled to the sky "(This kid is impossible to find!!!! Where could he be!?)" Jack thought.

Matthias could feel the painkiller take effect immediately. He felt almost as if he could walk again, it was that strong. Well, looks like he didn't poison me. He then took in the fact that he wouldn't be able to walk for a while, if ever. And that a whole cloud of students, mostly Ra Yellow, were crowded behind Mr. Toshibo. Well, that gets me the label of 'Clumbsy Oaf'. He thought about how he fell, and about the two things stolen from him: The Vial of Lighter Fluid, and his best card. He also thought about the Ra who said something about Wicked Gods. He'd heard of them, but what were they? "Alright," He said to Mr. Toshibo. "I'm good. That poison worked."

[Princess Judai]

"Alright, my turn!" Candice declared. "I can now Special Summon Unicorn Familiar, and now I can Special Summon both Monoceros and Different Dimension Unicorn Knight!"

The little imp returned, but was followed by the giant beast of burden and a blue knight-like monster. (0 ATK) (1000 ATK) (1800 ATK)

"Now I will Tune my Familiar with Monoceros!"

Familiar roared, and became 2 rings, while Monoceros charged into the rings, becoming 3 stars.

"Synchro Summon! Thunder Unicorn!"

The array exploded as a blue and yellow electricity-themed unicorn strode out. (2200 ATK)

"Now I activate my Unicorn's effect, decreasing the ATK of your Rukia by 1000!"

Thunder Unicorn sent out a lightning bolt that shocked the Clown Warrior, lowering her ATK (1900 ATK -> 900 ATK)

"Thunder Unicorn, attack Rukia!"

Thunder Unicorn charged at the Clown Warrior, ready to skewer her with its horn.

[Ace Daimon]

"One of the great things about my Sango is that her effect can activate during either player's turn, which I will now do." The Clown Princess stated as Thunder Unicorn charged at Rukia.

Sango hurled her boomerang at Thunder Unicorn, scaring the poor Synchro Monster off and changing it to Defense Position, while Rukia ducked underneath the boomerang, changing her position as well. (1800 DEF) (900 DEF) Ami also powered up from the increased number of Defense Position monsters. (1900 DEF -> 2100 DEF)

"Anything else?" The Clown Princess asked.

[Princess Judai]

Candice sighed, realizing her impending doom, but accepting it. She knew that she was going to be beaten by this mysterious Duel Monster Spirit, and become one herself, but she wasn't afraid of it. In fact, she was a bit excited. The loud voice in her head that told her what to do to not be noticed was being replaced by the voice from earlier and liked the prospect of being a Clown Warrior. She even thought it might be...fun. "I end my turn."

Monsters: Thunder Unicorn (1800 DEF), D.D. Unicorn Knight (1800 ATK)

Mr. Toshibo laughed. 'Poison? Not quite. Come on.' He helped Matthias up, and brought him to the infirmary, where he was laid down on a bed.

'I'll be back as soon as I can.' He said, before leaving. Moments later, the young boy walked in. 'The Wicked Gods are strong. Do you see that now, Matthias?'

 

 

'I summon Marauding Captain. Special summon Command Knight! Now, take down Solar Flare Dragon!'

"Not quite.' Titin grinned, before flipping up his facedown card. Negate Attack. 'My move. I summon a second Solar Flare Dragon, and activate Backfire. Now, I set a facedown card and end turn.'

'Go, Tuned Warrior. Synchro Summon! Marauding Captain and Tuned Warrior, summon Gaia Knight, the Force of Earth! Take down Solar Flare Dragon!'

Titin laughed. 'You can't. Solar Flare Dragon can't be attacked if there's another fire monster. My turn. I activate Minor Goblin Official. End turn.'

'Celtic Guardian, destroy Skeletal Trooper!' Demanded Zelkiax's foe.

'Try me.' Zelkiax grinned. 'Activate Midnight Shades! 1000 point power boost! Counter strike!' 4000/3500

'Now it's my move. Skeletal Trooper, attack. Hades, end this duel.' 4000/0 Zelkiax allowed himself to be led away to get his Yellow Jacket.

[Ace Daimon]

"My turn, and I draw. It's a good thing that I drew an extra card when Sango activated her effect, because I'm about to do it again."

Sango spun her boomerang around, and it caused D.D. Unicorn Knight to go into Defense Mode while Rukia stood back up again. (900 DEF) (1900 ATK)

"Now I draw another card, and I Special Summon Clown Warriors Rei and Kagome!"

A firey girl in a similar outfit to Ami and a girl in a green and red version of Sango's outfit jumped out of Toon World and landed on the field. (1800 ATK) (1500 ATK)

"Rei has the reverse effect of Ami, gaining ATK based on the number of Attack Position monsters on the field."

Fire engulfed the Clown Warrior as her ATK rose. (1800 ATK -> 2200 ATK)

"While Kagome can attack directly if at least 2 of my opponent's monsters are in the same Battle Position."

Kagome cocked a bow with a heart-shaped arrowhead, and fired it at Candice. (Candice: 800 LP) Candice gained even more clownish features, including gloves and a rubber nose.

"Now Rei, finish her off by attacking D.D. Unicorn Knight!"

Rei punched the Knight, but the flames also hit Candice. (Candice: 0 LP)

"I forgot Rei's second effect." The Clown Princess explained as Candice finished her transformation. "She can deal damage even if the monster is in Defense Position." The other 5 Clown Warriors walked over and surrounded their new sister as the Clown Princess watched Candice intently.

[The White Wolf]

Jack and Slifer have searched all but one place... "Ok Slife, let's try the infirmary next." "Right!". A few minutes later: "AHA! Found you!" Jack yelled at the boy "Joe Bob wants to see you!" Jack yelled pointing at the boy "No escape, WE have you blocked! That's right! WE! Me and Slifer the Sky Dragon! Now, do we do this the easy way or the hard way?" "(No escape! He's coming whether he likes it or not!)" Jack thought.

[Princess Judai]

Candice noticed the changes, and wanted for a split-second for them to stop, but she dismissed the idea. Her body, which used to be somewhat meek and average, was now svelte and sexy. Her blonde hair was now flowing behind her, but it had red streaks in it. Her Slifer Red uniform now consisted of the band and the front section, a red and white bow with a blue gem on the front covering her breasts, and the skirt, along with red and white striped stockings. She got up, rubbing her head, until she found a broadsword next to her, as well as a card.

 

Clown Warrior - Candice

If "Toon World" is face-up on your side of the field, this card gains the following effects: You can Special Summon this monster from your hand. Whenever you activate the effect of a face-up "Clown Warrior" monster on your side of the field. other than this card, that changes the Battle Position of at last 1 monster on the field, change the Battle Position of 1 face-up monster on the field. You can only have 1 face-up "Clown Warrior - Candice" on your side of the field.

Cal scowled as Nikki walked away. "Oh, we'll finish it sometime," he called after her. "And you're lucky that I won't report you until we do." He followed after the boy, until the got to the injured boy, only to see that he was standing up. "I thought you said he was injured," he said to the boy who he had followed. "He looks fine to me." Cal looked at the boy who had been injured, and said, "What happened? Did you run into a rock or something? And why are you looking fine now? I'm very confused. Can you explain?" Cal stood there waiting for the answers to his many questions, tapping his foot. He was a very impatient person.

Violet waited until she was sure that Matthias would be ok. She then slowly backed away trying to get back to the dorms with out being stopped....Again. The longer she stayed out the more of a risk it is that someone would find out about her little transaction. Just as she was out of sight, that boy who was evesdropping came into the picture. Violet couldn't hold in the sigh of reliefe as he seemed not to have noticed her. "Man, this has been one busy night." She mumbled as she made her way back to the female Slifer dorms.

 

"So all I gotta do tomorrow, is tell Andrew that I beat Nikki...Beat him in a duel, and then I'm in Ra." Violet smiled, "Perfect!!"

 

"Oops." She said as she quickly covered her mouth with her hands, while walking up the worn out wooden stairs of the Slyfer dorm to her room.

@Huh? - You posted that after I left (I'm assuming you mean me). And getting helped up doesn't mean I'm fine.

Matthias was very glad for the painkiller he had been given as he was helped to the infirmary. When the boy walked in he remembered him instantly. What had he said earlier? Something about the... um... the. Then the boy said, "The Wicked Gods are strong. Do you see that now, Matthias?" Matthias was puzzled by two things. First, this whole Wicked Gods thing. And second, that his name was known by this kid. Unless he had just assumed that was his name when somebody said it, maybe while he was still lying there. "Okay. What does that even start to mean? I don't get it."

The boy turned to Jack. 'What does your headmaster want to see me for? He already knows anything I could tell him.' He glanced at Matthias. 'You don't have to understand it. In fact, it's better that you don't. But understand this.' He took three steps back, so he was now pressed against the wall opposite Jack. 'The Wicked Gods are stronger than any of you could ever imagine. Families have been torn apart, and lives have been ruined. If it's gotten so bad that the Order needs to be brought to light once again, that the Emisarries have shown themselves. Then maybe even I can't fix this.' He leaned back, and fell through the wall, leaving a single card behind on the floor. Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder.

 

'I summon Gene-Warped Werewolf. Take down Goblin Attack Squad. Now I'll play Confounding Confetti, and tribute Werewolf to wipe ten cards out of your deck. Only 17 cards left. I'll end my turn to take down another one with Poison Chain.'

'I draw. Activate Pot of Greed. Now I summon a defensive monster and end my turn.' Blade's opponent was having trouble against his deck destruction cards.

'Iron Chain Coil, ability activate! Boost your attack points to 1900. Now then, I'll set a defensive monster and use another confounding confetti card to wipe out 9 more cards from your deck. Go.'

'Ha! I flip up Goblin Elite Attack Force, and summon Giant Orc. Attack your defensive!'

Blade grinned. 'You've hit the Needle Worm. That'll wipe out the remaining cards in your deck.' 1200/3700 'Endgame.'

 

 

Nikki sat down on a bench in front of the Obelisk Dorms, watching everybody who came and went with her flickering, intense eyes. Something wasn't right. She could feel it.

Jack picked up the card "Heh..... another Sacred Beast..... does Joe Bob need this? I'll keep it until I know for sure......" Jack thought out loud "I'll get that kid later...... I just hope Slifer can see him escaping....." "There! I'd better stop him!" Slifer yelled while flying in front of the kid "*ROOOOOOAR!*" Slifer roared in the kids face "(That should give Jack enough time to get out here......)" Slifer thought.

[Corvidae]

He raised an eyebrow at Slifer. 'Don't think you can stop me that easily. In fact...' With a thoughtful expression, the boy made a strange gesture with both hands, and the duel spirit of Slifer vanished, reappearing miles away. 'We can't have you messing around with Fate, now can we?' He asked himself, before walking along through the forest. 'Though come to think of it, these people will never give me peace. Especially since I'm too young to be a student. So...' He made the same gesture, and seemed to grow several years in the space of a single second. 'There.' He said, his voice suddenly deeper, almost unrecognizeable. 'That should keep them out of the way.' He looked down at his body, as an Obelisk Blue jacket appeared slung over his shoulder. He smiled, and began putting the Blue jacket on. 'There.' He looked around. 'Completely unrecognizeable.' He turned and began walking towards the Arena building. He needed to have a little chat with Joe Bob.

 

Daniel paused, his eyes closed. He let his mind's eye wander, as he was trained to do. The Wicked Dreadroot was not on the island. The Avatar was in Joe Bob's office, and the Eraser... That was in the Ra dorms. But... near the Arena, there was a presence... a powerful, forboding presence that he could not quite place. Daniel shrugged. When you don't know what something is, you check it out.

 

 

'But now there's room for a monster!' Shade's foe felt a glimmer of hope. 'I summon Tuned Magician, and I'll use double summon to gemini summon him. Synchro summon!'

'Keep dreaming.' Shade cut him off. 'Horus, wipe out Double Summon. Now I set a defensive monster. Horus, take out his magician.' 4000/2500

 

'I set another monster and two facedowns. End.' Mace grinned.

"I'll have Hayabusa knight take down your last Nimble Momonga, and then your defensive monster.' Mace nodded approvingly. 'Man eater bug! My turn. I flip up Solemn Wishes, and use Tremendous Fire. Now I end my turn by setting another monster.'

'I guess I'll summon a monster in defense mode.' Titin's challenger sighed. He had no chance. 'I end my turn!' Titin declared. 4000/0
