Legend Zero

Sam appeared near a group of other kids, and they were also near another kid. He heard what they were saying, but barely, so he made his way closer.

"Those who wish to change the world, step forward now!" Said the kid on his own. A few of the other kids agreed and stepped forwards without asking anything. As Sam reached the group one of the others asked the question that was on Sam's mind.

"Yeh he makes a good point," Sam said, finally noticing that he held something in his hand. Two things actually. He looked down at his hands, one held the strange things from before that had destroyed his laptop, and in the other he had what looked like a strange white and green phone.

"Also, who actually are you?"

As the group of kids began to follow his lead Azoth smiled with confidence in his assignment. He lowers his hand and walks a few feet forward, creating distance. Without turning around he begins his explination...

"My name is Azoth Stern, a resident of this world." Now turning he releases a sigh trying to find the right words.

"This world is known as the Digital World. Created entirly by computers and their networks with each other. Do not take it lightly, creatures called Digimon, short for digital monsters, roam this place. You have all been brought because you believe in not just changing but saving the Human World, your world!"

With the conclusion of his speech he smiles proudly. "Any questions?"

Yeah, actually I have a few," said a girl that looked about 8 years old, "What is with the strange symbols? Or how about these watch like things?" she said holding up her pitch black digivice, "Or maybe you could explain how we got here? Or possibly what is with these eggs or what ever they are?" she asked pointing out the eggs that she seen, Or how about you explain what these Digimon things are that you are talking about?" she finished

"Hadn't really planned this part out." Azoth remarks with a light chuckle.

He slowly takes a seat on the grass and pulls out his digivice, still gleaming in the sumlight.

"This here is a digivice, it allows humans and access to digimon. With this and are individual digi-egg, which is the other thing, we are capable of becoming digimon oursleves. Be warned that when you turn into a digimon it is irreversable until the reason they where created it resolved." Azoth pauses waiting for the others to process the new realazation.

Thomas just froze after that Statement about becoming digimon and sat down on the Grass. he was fine about becoming one but being possably Irrerversable just put him to be in a state of worryness. His digivice then made another strange sound. After a quick pause and some glances from the other children he Took a look at it. The arrow app had removed itself and replaced by was the strange Symbol apon his digi-egg and below it 5 Coundowns set in 12 Hours intervals; All running down.

"Azoth, I think what you just said is beggining to Happen..." he worryed as he though he knew what his digivice was showing to him.

OOC: If its ok Legend can the digivice be like a minature I-pad designed to be as well a normal Digivice?

As the timers popped up on the remaining digivices Azoth continues on...

"Those timers represent the time limit you all have. If you do not become digimon before it hits zero then you will return to the Human World and another will be chosen."

Azoth runs his hand through his hair as the wind picks up.

"I won't tell you how to become digimon until I feel you are ready. If you choose to stay then follow me, someone ran off instead of staying, and we have work to do."

Azoth begins to slowly stroll across the field towards the massive forest ahead.

joey was kinda stuned by what azoth had said. the change is inreversable untill the reason it was created is fullfilled. he looked down at his digivice and saw the timer on it slowly counting down.

this doesnt give me alot of options but i have no choice i have to change the world or i could lose everything that i love.

"just one more question why did we get these symbols or better yet what does each mean." joey asked as he followed azoth

He stood there quietly for a moment before sighing as he walked off with them. "I guess I have no choice." He said quietly as he kept a good distance from the others. As he did so he analized everyone else trying to see what he could find out quickly. He saw everyone's face and quickly thought to himself. I guess each of them has been pulled into this world the same as I. He crossed his arms walking carefully this time, obviously trying to not fall over, as he did so he noticed a strange symbol on his digivice. "Hm.. This seems wierd."

He kept behind them at a distance trying to gather his thoughts before going back to looking at them. He kept to himself thinknig quietly as he walked along the small path.

Sam stood looking at the digivice in his hand. The timer was counting down, everyone else was leaving. He took a glance at the group growing smaller, then he looked back at his digivice. Shaking his head, Sam turned and walked the other way, leaving the group of kids to get further away. The sight of his digivice pulled his eyes back down again and he stoped where he was.

"This isn't real. This can't be real... Can it?" He said to himself, thinking things over "Argh! Fine. Fine I'll do it!" He said shaking his head and turning around. The group had gotten smaller. "For crying out... Wait up!" He shouted as he began to run to catch up.

Zac looked at the counter on his digivice, but then remembered the glowing symbol. It seemed to remind of duty and responsibility, something he always used to take seriousl, but he did drop off the duty part. 'If we're going to do this, then I'll be the first to test this human-to-digimon transformation. It would be better this way for me to try it out first, just so this system isn't exactly faulty and possibly fatal' he announced boldly.

OoC: Sorry I haven't posted, I'll continue now.

"Ugh..." Haaris said as he rubbed his head. Haaris look around to find he was no longer in his home, but in an open meadow. "Where am I?" Haaris kept thinking to himself as he continues to walk forward. After walking north for a good while Haaris had just about given up hope. He was so confused all he could remember was standing on his balcony then waking up in this field.

"Huh!?" Haaris was so relieved to see a group of children around his age in the distance. The group was apparently being led by a messing white haired boy. Haaris ran towards the group until he was standing withing a foot of the leader.

"Hey, I'm Haaris, do you know where we are?" Haaris moaned as he tried to regain his breathing from the running he just did.

Noticing the new arrival Azoth begins to fill Haaris in on everything he said to the others. When he concluded the group was deep in the forest, walking on a narrow dirt path.

"Now to your question..." He says turning towards Zac.

"The system is full-proof, trust me the guys who gave me these aren't exactly those to mess up. As for you going first, again its all up to how things work out." He ends with putting his hands behind his head.

He held up his digi-egg with the symbol facing Azoth. "What are these? What are the Symbols on these things?" He had a few questions wanting to get these out of the way before they moved on. He stood there quietly so he could hear the answer to his question, but his mind soon began to wander. This place... it feels.. familiar..... Like.. home. He stood there with these thoughts in the back of his mind, but his main focus on Azoth.

Sighing heavily due to the amount of question Azoth tries to find an understanding tone. Without stopping the group's movement.

"They are your crest. Crest of a certain characteristic that you excel at, each crest gives its holder a different power. I'll eleborate later when I feel you need to know, also I'll tell you what crest you have when you take the risk to become a digimon."

With that Azoth stops immediately and raises his hand, like an army officer, to signify a halt.

"Well this sucks..." He whispers.

He stood there in front of Azoth looking him dead in the eyes. "We were destined to be here correct? Don't you think we should be told now so we can understand our duty?" His face shown nothing about concern for the others. As he did so his crest started to glow brighter. "If we don't know what we are doing... how can we understand what is going on?"

He crossed his arms as his crest grew brighter and as the light grew his digivice began to react. "If anyone of these kids gets hurt it will all be on you and I for one will not stand for this at all." The both the Crest and the screen on his digivice began to glow bright red.

Watching the crest glow Azoth pays no attention to the irritating boy. Quickly without hesitation Azoth trips and takes down Eli covering his mouth to prevent a scream. The sudden motion causes the digivice and crest glows to cease. With a sense of urgency in his voice Azoth speaks softly.

"When I hold up my hand you don't talk, got it? It is my job to make sure you and the others are safe so do as I tell you, no matter how little it is. Your little bravery act might just cost someone their life so try and understand the pressures I have to deal with."

He raises himself off the ground, dusting himself off and running his hand through his hair still speaking with a feable voice.

"As for destiny I would use that term loosely, due to the fact that with the amount of people in your world some are bound to have similar qualities. Now if you mind keeping quiet we need to keep moving while trying to avoid whatever is out there."

He looks around cautiously and is startled by a sudden rush of birds, leaving tree tops, from behind the group. Azoth starts to walk in the opposite direction.

He stood up dusting himself off quickly. He turned his attention to the forest after hearing a rumbling sound. As he noticed this he said to himself mentally. This place is dangerous and that kid... he is hiding something. He closed his eyes listening quietly to the sounds around him. His eyes opened and he began to walk towards the group of kids.

His thoughts raced as he followed them from the back. Destiny is something to take loosely? Hmph. He followed them a a decent distance and grabbed his digivice looking at it. "I see..." He remember the fact that the crest and digivice were reacting to his emotions. "That's how he change."

"so tell me this" joey said as he started following azoth."do we even have a chance here if we cant change into our digimon form. could you at least tell us that much." joey said his crest still dull save a small sliver of light glowing on it. he looked down at the egg and the digivice. it was a scary thought what if they couldnt transform.what happens if i cant do this and it was just by chance i was chosen. he thought. he then shook his head.no i have to keep hoping that i will be ok. other wise i cant change what is needed.

Now picking up the pace to a jog, Azoth pushes tree limbs and leaves out of his way. The heat of the forest beating heavily on the kids; Azoth wipes a good amount of sweat from his forhead with his wrist.

"Well, of worst comes to worst I'll tell Zac the key to his transformation and in which direction to head. He seems the most mature so he'd take the lead while I hold it off."

He stops in a small open pocket to try and find his bearings.

"I'm not a big fan of sacrificing myself but if it needs to be done there isn't much I can do is there?"

After a few minutes he takes a look around and notices more birds escaping the green sea of trees for the sky. With that he continues on through the forest.

"Then why are you here with us, if you dont want to be here so much, it makes no sense to me, and will you tell if we stand a chance of survival here if we dont change in to these digimon things? If you arent going 5to tell us I vote we all hold you down and beat the crap out of you until you tell us, so are you going to tell us without getting beat up? Because I think we have the right to know what are chances of survival here are!" said the very mature and mean sounding 8 year old Miori

Azoth slows his pace to pat the young girl's head, with a chuckle.

"I've been deemed as expendable, worthless, trash in a sense. So beating me up or even killing me won't be seen as a problem."

He reveils his digivice attached to his loose fitting belt.

"I was just like you once, a human suppose to transform. However, I'm unable to activate my crest because quiet frankly I don't believe in it. As for digimon, wait till you see them I wouldn't be surprised if one of you fainted."

As the group reaches the edge of the forest they see a massive raised mountain with an ancient city located on its flat top. Azoth takes a seat and breathes heavily, closing his eyes to take a break.

He stood there closing his eyes. "We get dragged here... Most of us against our will, you say we could be replaced, and now you say you can't even do it. What is your problem?!" He yelled at the young man glaring down at him. "Either we are destined to do this, you are hiding something important, or you are lying to us." He crossed his arms obviously still angered from what had happened to the others. "You say you are useless, well right now you are being useless. Tell us what to expect in this world so we know what to do."

(Sorry if i'm being rough rply. ^^)

Zac smiled at being called 'the most mature', considering he was, if he followed agewise. He seemed to be the oldest here after all. Finally getting to the mountain cliff and their rest-stop. It was a breath-taking sight of an ancient city. This harmony was broken by Eli's crass speech. 'Hey cut it out, we're all in this together so there isn't any point in making him feel any worse about himself' he scolded.

Guest Merciful Idiot

Silver, pausing to catch his breath, then prepared to say something. "If there is such a thing as Destiny, this is definitely not it. If a child was first-born to a king, then his destiny would be no doubt to become the next King, or err....Queen. But in this case, anyone could have been chosen, so this first part of the adventure is definitely not destiny. Anyway....." He paused for a moment and turned towards the ancient city.

"Who or what lived here?" He asked. "If this world is different from ours, then I'm seriously confuzzled."
