By the way, Discord Matron is not OP'd because:

 

1. Your opponent would have to be stupid enough to attack it for it to destroy them.

2. It can't declare an attack, so it relies on your opponent being stupid.

3. It can easily be destroyed by field-nukers or cards that say "Destroy all monsters your opponent controls".

 

|Bursting Counter|[Trap Card (Continuous)]

Activate only when 2 or more cards you control are destroyed by a card effect. Negate the effect of that card and destroy it. You can then Special Summon 1 Level 7 or lower Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck, ignoring the summoning conditions. It's effect(s) are negated while this card is face-up on the field.

|Troll Under the Bridge|[Counter Trap Card]

Activate only when your opponent declares an attack and the attack target's ATK is lower than the attacking monster's. Destroy all cards on the field and Special Summon 1 "Troll Token" [Level 7 DARK Fiend-Type ATK/2100 DEF/1100]. End the Battle Phase and skip your next Battle Phase.

This breaks non-synchro mirrors. since theres only 2 Level-5 or higher non-synchros in the archtype, this just throws salt into the wounds of the opponent as is, despite skipping the battle phase, you end up with troll token, mirrors in the grave, plus some mirrors can discard the cards instead, ultimatly making non-synchro/synchro mirrors broken even further

Well He said it in alot nicer terms than I would have and also the instent win requires 5 Trap Monsters with Different Names.

It's a real surprise that no one has actually suggested this yet - if Mirrors are so broken then why don't we fix them with rewrites or the banhammer?

Ghostmyth - That earth deck looks nice. Only thing is we will have to replace Twin Double Crossers for something, but other than that is perfect.

 

Insert Name Here - Thanks, but your Mirrors are like Tier 1 right now, sorry it can't be a Starter deck.

 

Alfred-Kun - I stand by my words Discord Matron IS OP'd, and your first 2 points aren't my point, the point is that you have a wall that cannot be attacked. Of course the destroy effect doesn't matter, but not even Piercing/Position changing effects will work against it. Also (Thankfully) we have few field-nukes in the game. I have a personal hatred of Field Nukes as it discourages building field control. Any Field Nukes in the CCG will have to be either situational or costly.

 

Bursting Counter - Eh, a "Weaker" Starlight Road? This seems much stronger than it.

 

Troll Under the Bridge - I described my hatred for Field Nukes. AND this one gives you a powerful token too. Also Ridiculously easy to activate. I don't see why LeoMence likes it because I think it is too powerful.

 

WereLord - Oh, ok. But I still think it's OP'd.

Even though the effect is negated, ill have a level 7 2900 DEF. Plus once the trap is destroyed, i can proceed to add mirrors to my hand like Fiend [loloop any1]

 

Im just pointing out the broke stuff i seen you make which actually helps my mirrors, even though youre against them [and i am aswell, which is why i wanted to re-edit the mirrors, but Leo wont let me]

 

EDIT Sea: I also got the Shadow LV deck, will you accept that one?
