Set 7 is starting when the tournament is finished, and me and Sea made a strict rule: "NO ARCHETYPE SUPPORT OR NEW ARCHETYPES."

Set 8 will have minimal support for archetype, and only 1 new archetype, which is mostly techable cards.

What set 7 needs is some more generic cards. We have the themes (whether that be archetype or Type/Attribute decks). We have the support. But to make more flexibility in making decks we need generic cards that can tie decktypes together, etc, creating combos. And to be honest the last 2 sets have been Archetype MADNESS and we need to balance out the card pool some more. Cause that's the fun in making decks, is discovering combos.

This also goes for monsters, too. We have whatever type/attribute support we want but we need more options on what to use it on.

And you've all heard my lecture on S/T not being too generic that every single deck will run it.

@ Tomtekorv - they probably won't be "staples" like you're used to in the TCG, but they will be versatile, generic, will make a lot of decks MUCH more playable, and will definately not be crap commons. Also the only 2 Level 11 monsters we have are Chaos Creator and Harmony Mech OT-K

Speaking of crap commons, for reasons i cannot explain right now (*wink wink*), we're going to need some. I hope you all didn't forget about that "surprise" I promised way back when.
