Yes it was. I also finished up the two monsters.

 

|Deity of Everlasting Light|1|WROD|Fairy/Effect|Light|10||3000|2800|This monster cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This monster can only be Special Summoned from the hand or Graveyard by removing from play 3 LIGHT monsters in your Graveyard. This card gains 200 ATK for each LIGHT monster in the Graveyard. Once per turn, you can return 1 LIGHT monster that has been removed from play into your Graveyard. When your opponent activates the effect of a Spell, Trap, or Monster that targets a monster you control, you can remove from play 1 LIGHT monster from your Graveyard to negate the activation of the card and destroy it.|

Once per turn, you can send 1 DARK monster from your Deck to the Graveyard. When your opponent activates the effect of a Spell, Trap, or Monster that targets a monster in either Graveyard, you can remove from play 1 DARK monster from your Graveyard to negate the activation of the card and remove from play that card and the targeted card.|

They seem pretty balanced to me.. except they aren't really equal. Deity of Everlasting Light can protect itself and other LIGHTs by removing a monster in the graveyard, also being able to return it to the graveyard in the next turn for some reusablility. Deity of Returning Darkness however can only lock the grave, but I guess that might be useful if your opponent is trying to use Egg of Regeneration or something.

 

Thing is this CCG doesn't have much destruction, so these might be hard to get rid of with the SS from the graveyard. I'm trying to decide whether I want that to be taken out.

Not unless if we add RFPing monsters in the next set. Wouldn't you agree?

To you after you said the monsters will be hard to destroy. I think that if we are going to focus on Light and Dark here, we should also focus on RFPing as well (Since Light and Dark do better with RFPing).

When a Fiend-Type monster is sent from the field to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon this card into face-up Defense Position. This card cannot change battle positions.

Power Adopter

Spellcaster/EARTH/Lv5/2000/2300

When this card is summoned select 1 monster on the field. This card gains the selected monster’s name and effect(s). When this card is destroyed, destroy the selected monster.

 

Sneaky Shapeshifter

Warrior/DARK/Lv1/0/0

Once per turn, you can select 1 monster on the field. This card gains that monster’s ATK, DEF, Level, Type and Attribute. This card cannot attack this turn if you use this effect.

Yeah, ok.

 

BTW Leo, you should probably change the title from "Possible Tournament" to "Set 5"

 

Again here is what I want in set 5:

 

Boss monsters are a good Idea. ZeroChill if you could do that that would be great' date=' or if you can pass that along to someone else that's fine too.

 

However, LIGHT and DARK won't be the only things that will get support. Surprisingly the only Type that hasn't gotten much support are Dragons. Also we need just a few more Spirit Monsters.

 

As for the archetypes I don't want Shamans or Phoenixians given any more support. The archetypes that need some more are Shock, Aquean and Enlightement. But we really must be careful about the synergy these cards get so I would want the support to be slightly UP'd. Also Alchemic is a large archetype and balanced now, i guess you can make some support if you want to but it's not really needed.

 

For the gods thing, let's wait until we hear from Leo because he might have already talked about it with Dog King.

K, this is like Mutated Corpse, and I put in the "Except..." clause because this card could start an infinite loop with 2 Plasmatons.

Here is something, not of YVD format:

 

Chaos Prism

Continuous Spell Card

 

When this card is activated, place 3 Counters on this card. During each of your Standby Phases, add 1 Counter on this card. You can remove any number of Counters from this card to send cards from the top of your Deck to the Graveyard. If any of the cards sent to the Graveyard were LIGHT monsters or DARK monsters, you can Special Summon them. When this card has no more Counters, destroy this card.

 

BTW, it would be good to update the members list and the meta list as well Leo.

Without that effect, this could be an easy +3
