|Chance Destruction|1|DSAS|Spell Card|Spell||Quick-Play|||Pay 1000 Life Points. Flip a coin. If the result is Heads, your opponent selects and destroys 1 monster and 1 Spell, or Trap card they control. If Tails, your opponent selects and removes from play 1 monster and 1 Spell, or Trap you control.|

|Random Destruction|x|xxxx|2|DSAS|Trap Card|Trap|||||Both players roll a die. The player with the lowest result must flip 2 cards they control face-down. Then their opponent selects 1 of the cards and destroy it.|

|Fail Destruction|x|xxxx|3|DSAS|Trap Card|Trap||Counter|||Activate when your opponent destroys 2 or more cards you control. Negate that card's effect and remove it from play.|

The name of Fail Destruction doesn't really fit the effect. As it is now it should be called Fail Target.

Fixed it.

|Negate Remove|4|DSAS|Trap Card|Trap||Counter|||You can activate this card from your Hand by paying 500 Life Points and returning 1 card you control to the Top of your Deck. Activate when your opponent removes 1 card from play. Negate that cards effect and return that card to the top of the owners Deck.|

|Mist Valley Flyer|5|DSAS|Winged Beast/Effect|Water|3||1200|1300|You can flip this card to face-down defense position to negate the effect of a Trap card and destroy it.|

Wait, your entire argument is acting as if Spell Stun is a Spell itself, like Cold Wave. Activating Spell Cards in your opponent's turn is scarcely done unless they are Quick-Plays. The Spell Stun I am thinking of would be a Normal Trap Card - you would have to set it before you could activate it, and most people would activate to STOP OTK set-up, not to set up OTKs of their own as the card itself requires 2 turns of set-up should you be planning to use it for an OTK.

@ 0 - Chill - I don't think we have a good idea of what the Puppet / Marionette monsters will do so I will hold off my judgments until you submit them.

@ Pacman - I like pick and Choose V. 2.

@ InH - 3 destruction cards are cool. Last one makes for a good anti-meta setup.

@ InH (2nd posting) - The Counter trap is interesting and Mist Valley Flier is cool. But with Sunken Ship and all those other control WATER cards there might be too much synergy. We will see through testing.

@ Alfred/LeoMence - Would this be an acceptable version to Test, @3 ?

Spell Stun

Normal Trap Card

Negate the Effects of All Spell cards this turn.

Yeah.. but TBH, I would really love in my WATER deck ^^' Heheh...

Well, yeah we will test it. 2 Possible changes are to change the attribute to WIND like you asked or we could add a "This card cannot be Flip Summoned". Or something.

@ WereLord - I can duel you! :D

Pretty much:

Negate the effects of all Spell Cards on the field during this turn.

I think it would be fine. I was also wondering, are my Mezzos going to be released next set? If any of you still have the codes for them I'd like to playtest them at some point.

Remember no archetypes in the next set. The set after that, yes. And you could do a quick forum search for mezzo and find it. It's pretty far back.

Past 1 set. Last set had no archetype-related ones. The next will have no new archetypes. The one after that is fair game.
