Chris rubbed the place the creature hit him in. "What was that for?!" he asked. He readied his hammer for a fight, but the creature put on a sad face with tearing eyes. Chris' heart softened and he lowered his hammer. The creature, however, leaped up at that moment and slapped Chris across the face with his tail. "Okay, that's it!" he yelled. Chris started repeatedly wacking at the creature as much as he could with his trusty hammer. The creature was quick and dodged every swing, but Chris stomped on its tail and pinned it in place. "Now tell me what your deal is, or I'll burn your face off," said Chris as he readied a fireball in his hand.

After awhile of sightseeing, Kuroshi finally decided to go to an inn for some rest. On his way there, he and Dante saw what appears to be a tiny yellow mouse walking happily along. "Well that was kinda strange." Kuroshi said as he watched the creature walked out of the city. "Humph........ This land is infested with other monsters stranger than that. Don't act like a tourist." Dante said calmly as he continued walking.

 

Kuroshi after awhile of wondering, finally decided to catch up to Dante as they entered the inn. "Well I am a tourist." Kuroshi replied as he followed Dante. "Don't make it obvious........." Dante responded as they went towards the inn keeper. "What can I do ya for?" the inn keeper asked as he was writing some important things into his check-in paper. "One room........" Dante said calmly as he pulled out a bag and set it on the table. Dante then walked up the stairs.

 

"Umm, I'm with him." Kuroshi said. "Sorry, but this is only enough for one person." the inn keeper said while counting the money. "Fine here, I'll take the best room you got." Kuroshi said as he pulled out an even bigger bag. "Oh, yes sir!" the inn keeper said as his eyes were mesmerized by the amount given to him by Kuroshi. Kuroshi then walked up the stairs and entered Dante's room. "Ha! I just rented out the best room!" said Kuroshi boastingly. "Humility is one of the seven virtues........" Dante said as he sat on a hay stuffed bed. "Err, whatever you say master." Kuroshi replied with a confused look and then walking off.

OOC: Since Pichu didn't exactly SAY the names, merely stated them in action, it's okay. Also, Fusion, since this is your first RP, I'll let you know, controlling another person's character is considered godmodding.

 

IC: Yuki was beyond cunfused at this point. Not only at Jing's misterious dissapearance. Putting that thought aside for later, Yuki decided to adress all the newcomers at once, even the animal, which made him even more confused. "I see no reason for us to fight. Dop your weapon, and you, little animal, you should calm down. There is no need to fight. Um, Chris is your name, right?" he asked, turning to Chris. "Well, my name's Yuki. I'm glad to see you mean us no harm, as I would hate to perform more senseless fighting. You see, I am on my way to the castle, for... reasons I'll keep to myself. Well, anyway, I can't stop you from fighting, but in these peaceful times, I hardly find a need to fight."

"Okay, now, let me try something else." he said, whipping up the small tornado again. He jumped on it, just to see if he could ride it. He could, but only just, he made it move forward as fast as possible, which was faster than walking, but not as fast as his full-speed running. "Alright!" he said, jumping off it, and running again. "(I can hold my breath for two minutes, that should get me somewhere pretty fast.)" he thought, continuing to run like that. He began running in small circles, to see if he could whip up a bigger tornado doing that and leaving a current of spinning air behind him.

OOC: ah crap, sorry Pichu, forgive a hopeless noob?

 

IC:

Chris let his fireball go out and took his foot off the creature's tail. "Sorry about that, I shouldn't resort to violence for every little thing." He lifted his hand behind his head in embarrassment and said, "Yeah my name's Chris, nice to meet you Yuki. I'm not looking for trouble or anything, but from what I heard earlier, it sounds like there are evil forces at work. You guys need help?" He surveyed the faces of the crew in front of him. There was this guy Yuki, who seemed friendly, then the guy who pointed a sword at him, not friendly, then another guy who Chris had yet to have any interaction with, then finally the yellow creature which had slapped him in the face with no reason. What a weird day this is turning out to be. he thought.

"Well, depending on what lies ahead, we very well might. To be honest, I don't really know much about Jing besides his name, yet it seems he knew of my relation to Sasuke even before we met. Something seems weird in all this business." Yuki said, and sighed. "Not only that, but all the other times I traveled to the city, I didn't meet many people, yet this time, I met several people, not to mention that mugger... I don't know if it's coincidence or not, but it's quite unnerving. So yes, you can travel with us to the castle." Yuki finished, smiling, and added embarrasedly "Wow, why am I talking so much? It's really not like me... I suppose I was kida worried." Yuki began walking through the path. "Well, we want to make good time, so let's get going, Chris. You too, John. Well, farewell," he added, speaking to Leon. "Unless, you want to come too?"

Black sent his message to Jing He let the chuckle roll in his mind, as he read the minds around him. "So, how far is this place we're headed to, Yuri?" He asked as they walked. He mentally fiddled with when he would dispose of these nuisances, That included Yuki as well, althoughh Yuki would stay as long as his Boss so used him. Black mentally rubbed his hands together as he pictured execuing Yuki for all to see. He chuckled, slightly.

Yuki turned to John, smiling. "It's not that far from here, maybe another hour or two. Although, that depends on if we meet anyone else along the way." Yuki said with a chuckle. Jing uneases me...but at least I have a few people with me, so if something does happen, I won't be by myself. Yuki laughed silently and continued on his path, hoping both John and Fusion would follow him on his journey. He felt somewhat calmer with company. Especially company that had already saved his life.

[Sploda]

Jing was lying on the floor, barely able to stand. His master had not been pleased with his progress. He had been ordered to befriend Yuki and gather his master's forces. For all he could tell though Yuki was suspicious of him and the followers were slow to gather. This didn't please his master.

 

"I-I'm sorry master, I won't let it happen again. I'll be successful." Jing managed to say through the pain. "I won't fail you."

 

"See to it that you don't. I don't have time to constantly be checking up on you. I need to unlock the Void, and that means I must focus." Creator said with a harsh, unforgiving tone. "Kiba and Kuro could come back at anytime, I must be prepared. Now enough of this, how does the experiment go?"

 

"The body is reacting well, soon we will be able to return her to the material plane." Jing replied, now in a kneeling position.

 

"Good, finally you succeded at something."

Jing cringed at these words.

Chris smiled at the acceptance he gained and said, "Sounds good to me, I was hoping for an epic adventure lately!" He put away his hammer and knelt down to tie the laces around his shoes. When he was ready, Chris stood up and with a determined look, said, "So I'll try introducing myself again, my name is Chris Claustro and as long as you aren't a bad guy, we're friends." He smiled and then asked, "So what castle are you talking about exactly?"

[Leon Lonewolf]

Leon shrugs. He really has nothing to do and if going with them will help him find his purpose i life, maybe allying with these strangers won't be such a bad idea. "I don't care. Might as well come. Might help find what I am searching for. The name's Leon. Leon Lonewolf," he said, extending his hand for a shake.

Chris took Leon's handshake and said, "Good to meet you, just know I got your back, that goes for all of you too by the way," he said glancing at the other 3 people there. He bent down and patted the creature on the head and said, "Even you, you little rascal." He stood up and wondered if he came off as too...friendly. If that was the word. This should be a good time to get stronger and maybe I'll even get a lead on the lowlifes that took my brother's life...

Kaze was able to whip up a tornado much bigger than either of the others he had managed to whip up. "YES!" he said, exited. Now, to stop it before someone gets hurt, like me." he said, trying to dissipate the tornado. He failed, miserably. "Oh, no." he said, trying again, putting all his effort into it. It seemed to be beyond his powers. "Oh, no. Come on, work." he said, trying repeatedly to stop the now out-of-control tornado. It began moving. "Great, what have I done?" he said, moving along side it, trying to make it subside. "Well, I tried." he said, running ahead to warn anyone who was in its way.

[Sploda]

Jing had just returned to the forest when he saw a huge tornado heading towards him. "Of all the possible times, why now?" He said as he began chanting. Once he was chanting, he pointed at the tornado and in a flash of light, it vanished. "I don't have time for this, I have to catch up with-" He stopped midsentence when he felt a presence closing fast. He looked in the direction it was coming from and saw a large swirl of leaves and dirt.

 

"This just isn't my day." Jing said distraught.

OOC: Lionheart, please make your posts at least 4 lines long. Yours are usually 3, which is 1 line below what Rinne asks for. Shouldn't be that hard, right?

Yuki chuckled. "What castle? Well, I think it's safe to call it the mother of all castles. The castle in which the Council of Light reside." Yuki turned to Leon and shook his hand. "My name is Yuki. It's ncie to meet you, Leon. And, it's nice to meet you too, Chris," he added, turning back to Chris. Well, I suppose we should get going. But, before that, what were you two doing here? Hardly anyone travels around this forest. Well, usually" he added with a smile.

"Ah you know, the typical traveler's excuse," Chris replied. "I've been traveling the land for about...hm, seven months now? I won't bore you with the details, but to make a long story short, I lost someone precious to me, and I want to find the scoundrels responsible for taking their life. I haven't had many fruitful results, but I've at least got the hang of wielding flame and using most of my power to accomplish difficult tasks. So if there's any possible combat situations coming up, you can count on me. So what can you guys do, you people seem like you know how to handle yourselves as well."

Kaze stopped running just short of smacking into Jing. He looked back at where the tornado was, and noticed it wasn't there. He stared, blinking, and then looked back at Jing. "umm...thank you?" he said, questioningly. "Yeah...thanks for cleaning up my mess." he said, now with a little more confidence and placing his hand on the back of his head. He gave a small, nervous laugh, with an even more nervous smile. "So...um...how'd you do that? And who are you?"

[Sploda]

"My name is Jing, and how I did that is irrelevant. However I seem to have lost myself in this forest and I was wondering if you wouldn't mind traveling with me. That is, as long as you don't summon up anymore tornadoes." Jing said with a sigh. He had hoped not to run into anyone before regrouping with Yuki. Ah well I guess it can't be helped. Jing thought as he began walking in Yuki's general direction, hoping to make quick progress.

"...okay." Kaze said, walking beside Jing. "My name is Kaze, by the way. Kaze Uindo." he said, offering his hand for a handshake. "And, don't worry, I don't think I'll be whipping up anymore tornadoes for a while. It was not fun realizing that I couldn't make it subside..." he said, looking back to where Jing had made it subside. Or, rather, vanish. "(That was fun, though. Until I noticed I wasn't able to do anything to stop it.)" he thought, placing both hands on the back of his head.

After a while of resting in their rooms, Kuroshi and Dante exited the inn and went to a small bakery. "Hey, what are we doing here?" Kuroshi asked tiredly. "We are here to get something to eat of course............" Dante replied calmly as he payed the baker for two sandwiches. "Here, eat up..........." Dante said as he walked pass Kuroshi and throwing him a sandwich. "{Sigh} I'm tired of eating this peasant food........ Can't we eat like a king?! For at least one day perhaps?" Kuroshi said as he looked at the sandwich and took a bite. Dante then stopped and turned his head back to Kuroshi, giving him the eye. "Gah, never mind master." Dante said nervously.

 

"Humility is-" Dante said before being interrupted by Kuroshi. "Yeah, yeah, humility is one of the seven virtues." Kuroshi said tiredly. "Humph......... Patience is another virtue.........." Dante proclaimed as he continued to walk. "So master, why are we here again?" Kuroshi asked as if he completely forgot. "Humph.......... We need to meet with the Council of Light........." Dante replied calmly. "Oh yeah, now I remember." Kuroshi said.

IC: Pichu drifed off. Then everyone was gone. Magicly, he walked up to Yuki. He saw the face and had a flashback. "I KNOW YOU!!!" Pichu yelled. "You called me an animal.. BIG mistake." Pichu laughed. He used Iron Tail, a move he just learned, and hit Yuki in the face. "Imma Pokemon." Pichu said hitting the ground. Then his voice became all sweet and his eyes grew huge. "My name is Pichu! Whats yours?" Pichu said as sweet as a little girl. Then he gave the puppy dog face, but he called it the Wittle Pichu face. "Plwease answer me..."

Before Pichu could hit Yuki with Iron Tail, Black swung his blade, and the segments shot about an inch in front of Yuki's face, blocking the hit effectively. As his blade retracted, he spoke with a chuckle. "Woah, little guy, don't go attacking people like that. You would not want to attack someone stronger than you. Anyways," He squatted down to Pichu's level, "I'm John. Nice to meet you, Pichu." He gave a smile (Look at my app) and patted his head, instead of shaking. "Quite the spunky little guy, arencha?"

Chris was taken aback by the creature's sudden attack. This one's a loose cannon. "Pichu, eh? That's a random name, although it seems to fit you perfectly." He looked over at John and wondered what his story was. That was nice swordwork, instantly blocking Pichu's attack without wasting any movement. Although that smile he's giving seems to be a little off to me. Ah well, I shouldn't judge people by their appearance, he seems nice enough.

[Pichu]

"Hiya John! And I sense your name is Chris..." Pichu said. He guessed Chris's name right. "And you're name is Yuki!" Pichu said turning to Yuki. Pichu jumped on a nearby rock and stood up. "LISTEN UP!" Pichu demanded. " You guys need me on your side due my Electric attacks and witts!" Pichu said. "And my mood swings will also help!" Pichu clacked. Pichu also had psychic powers. He could read minds. "I shall be Private! Sgt Yuki, Private Pichu; thats me, Corporal John, and Sgt Major Chris! Like a military team." Pichu yelled. Pichu has had military experience before. He was a leader of a failed secret team. He started 5 wars inculcating WWI. "So what do ya say? You in?"

IC:

Yuki chuckled. "Aren't we getting a bit ahead of ourselves? Thanks John, Pichu's faster than he seems. Although, I really need to help you once in awhile, since you've saved me twice already." Yuki turned to Chris. "Well, maybe we'll find some clues to whoever was behind that precious person's death." Next, he turned to Pichu. "As for you, I'm impressed you can almost pass off being psychic, but couldn't you have just overheard our names?" he said with a smile. "Well, either way, we should get moving soon. We want to reach the city before dark." Yuki said, and began to walk.
