"YES!" he exclaimed as he sprinted towards the town. He checked in at the local inn and rested in bed. He lay down his hammer, kicked off his shoes, and was drifting off to sleep when he heard a scream. Chris ran out of the room and saw a big man attacking a young girl, Chris estimated she was around his age. "Leave her alone!" he yelled. Chris dove at the man's legs and caused his head to collide with the wall. He got up and grabbed Chris in a bear hug, but could not hold him. IC: Yuki whirled around to see a person with a whip sword attacking the mugger, who had been charging at him a second earlier. The mugger was hit by the sword and was knocked back into a tree with a grunt. What just happened? The mugger wobbled to his feet, a hint of fear on his face. "I didn't expect to be fighting off two people. It's not worth the pay, I'm out of here." The mugger began to run away, into the woods. Yuki approached the newcomer who had seemingly saved his life. "I'm a traveler. I'm just tired of seeing bandits attacking random people. By the way, where am I, Mister....?" He asked, cocking his head, and wearing a confused look. "I'm sorry, I don't know you're name. May I ask what it is so I can address you properly?" He smiled softly again, and chuckled. "I was sent by my master to find you Mr.Yuki, I'm to escort you to the palace. You are summoned by the Council of Light." Jing said calmly. He turned from them and began walking towards the palace. When he was planning on not encountering anyone, he ended up having to fight a bandit, and he met two strangers, both quite misterious. "My status? How did you know...? Anyway, I'll gladly follow you, if it gets me to the palace." Yuki turned to John. "Would you like to come too? I have yet to repay you for helping me ward off the bandit." "I know you're out there." about a dozen ninja surround him, wielding either katanas, scythes or giant shuriken. Leon circles around and surround himself with orbs of energy horizontally, then detonate them, eliminating the ninjas before they could react. "Hmm, I wonder what if I had stay there with that girl. Probably she would make me her husban or something. Hehehe, sorry miss but I'm a person who cannot settle down and have a family just yet." Kuroshi said to himself as he looked at the clouds. "How pretty, it's times like these that make you just wish you have a house here. {Sigh} However, I have a duty to fulfill, I have to defeat those dreaded Darkness Knights." Kuroshi said as he closed his eyes. "Lazy as ever I see........" said a mysterious voice. Kuroshi then opened his eyes to see Dante, a legendary knight of the Old Order. "Well master, it's you. What are you doing here?" Kuroshi asked curiously. "Humph...... It seems that the Darkness Knights are up to no good. And you, what are you doing Kuroshi?" asked Dante calmly. "Well I'm heading towards the city." Kuroshi said as he lay his head back onto the stack of hay. "For what purpose?" asked Dante as he sat down, crossing his legs and arms together. "Well I have important business there." Kuroshi said calmly. "Humph....... picking up girls I presume......." Kuroshi then quickly rose up from the hay stack. "What? No! No such thing!" Kuroshi said hesitantly. "Well whatever you do....... Don't lose your focus........." said Dante calmly. "Yes I know that master." Kuroshi said as he lay back onto the hay again. After fetching supplies to last him a while, he stored it all in his backpack and went back on the road. After walking a few miles, he entered a forest and sat down against a tree. Then he heard voices heading towards him saying, "I know of your status because of the Light that flows through you. It shines as bright as his was, or so my master says." "Those who trespass within the sacred forest, are to be eliminated." Came Jing's calm voice as he lept from the tree top and landed near what appeared to be a young boy in all green. Jing entered his fighting stance and said, "What buisness do you have here? Those who trespass in this sacred forest are to be terminated." He slashed his sword at a target, from nearly ten feet away. However, the target was still slashed in half. "Very good, Kaze, you're getting better at that. Now, try to cut the next target with your blade, watch for the pegs." a woman said to him, sitting on a fence. "Thank you, mom. I'll try it." he said. He ran at the target next to the one he'd cut from a distance. He dodged nearly all the pegs, but almost tripped over the last one. However, he used some foot work, and managed to just barely keep his guard up while he recovered, and used the forward momentum to slash the target half-way through. "Not good enough." Kaze said to himself. "Well, I think you did pretty good, considering I'm not really cut out for training anything, let alone swordsplay." his mother said, reconcilingly. Still, I wonder if he followed us here, or it's mere concidence. "Jing, dont harm him. I...can't sense any killing intent coming from him. My uncle taught me never to harm those who serve the Light." Wasn't expecting people to be here, he thought. Then again, I wasn't expecting rogue ninjas popping out of nowhere begging for money and valuables like common thieves. You would do well to remember that there are those who would rather see you dead." After that Jing returned his attention to the young boy in all green. "Hurry up and answer my question, or I'll gut you here and now." He snesed another person coming. "Yuki someone else is coming, I sense Light and Darkness about him. Be on your guard." Leon Lonewolf Posted May 1, 2010 Report Share Posted May 1, 2010 Leon notices that 2 of them noticed his presence. they have the Light surrounding them, but the other seems to serve the darkness. He feels the the 2 can handle the 1, and ignores them as he passes by. He wonders if they know which side he is? It us extremely rare to bump into anyone with both Light AND Darkness. Not only had he met John, and Jing, but also these two strangers. One who apparently held both Light and Darkness. It's quite rare to see someone who wields darkness thes days...who is this guy? or rather, how can Jing sense it? "True, he may not serve the light, but we musn't be hasty. Although I, too, am curious as to who he is. Although... I can vaguerly sense Light, it seems that other one is growing fainter, or rather, it seems he's not looking for us." Kaze said, walking out the door with his sword hanging loosely from his hip. He walked along in the forest, stopping every now and then to practice either his control of wind, or his sword, or both. Kaze got bored after a few hours, and decided to see how far his wind mastery went. He began to spin the wind around him, trying to whip up a tornado. Kuroshi said as he smiled and waved goodbye. "Yeah, yeah, but enough with the 'Pops', I'm not that old." the farmer proclaimed as he drove his carriage away. "Humph...... Kuroshi, respect your elders......" Dante said as he walked into the city. "Huh, wait up for me master!" Kuroshi yelled as he ran into the city. "Wow sure is a lot of cute girls here!" Kuroshi exclaimed as he was drooling. Dante then took his sword and whacked Kuroshi over the head with it. "Ouch....." Kuroshi said as he was rubbing his head. "Don't focus too much on girls and focus on what we came here for......." Dante said calmly as he walked away. "Fine, fine...... {Sigh} You know master, sometimes you can be such a BORING person." For the rest of it, he just read their minds. It was so advantageous that they did not know of his powers. "So, what is the matter?" He asked, walking up closer with a smile. He knew everything, but he wanted to hear it from them, so it seemed less suspect. Someone was in the area, with powers in liht and dark. Spirit of DMG Posted May 2, 2010 Report Share Posted May 2, 2010 Kaze managed to whip up a small tornado. It was probably big enough to blow a few leaves around, maybe pick up a small child. It was nothing really impressive. He then got the idea to see how fast he was able to run. He removed the wind from immediately in front of him, and managed to run pretty fast. "Yeah, this is fun!" he thought, running fast enough to blow the leaves away. Or maybe that was just his messing with the wind to lower his wind resistance. Then he noticed he was holding his breath. Now watch Yuki, I'm leaving for a bit. He then turned to Yuki, "Very well, I'm sorry but you must travel without me for a small time. I am needed elsewhere. I cannot tell you how I know just that it is urgent that I leave." Without waiting for a reply Jing Sprang into the trees and left Yuki and John in the small clearing. Who the heck were these guys? And what was with them saying stuff about the Light and Dark? He stepped forward tentatively and said, "Sorry for disturbing you, my name is Chris Claustro. I was just passing through and heard voices, I bear you no harm. And I would never be a bad guy, which I'm assuming are these 'Dark' guys you're talking about." "Uh, pardon me, guys, but it seems to me that something is wrong. Is there anything I can do to help" He senses that most of the guys side the light. That didn't matter.
