Aki enjoyed one of the best kisses of her marriage, and decided that they had enough time to have some fun. She placed her pointer finger vertically in the air in front of Rayos, disengaged from the kiss, and quickly ran into the bathroom. A couple of minutes later, Aki returned as she had been before she went into the bathroom the first time. "You know..." she said to Rayos, "...I think Latea will be just fine until we are done with the luncheon. Agreed?"

"head quarters this is gluttny ive got the duelist you saw eariler in my sights and i will capture him." gluttny said with a giggle.

 

Zolo walked up to the door of the cabin and knocked lightly wincing immidatly as he knew what was going to happen. the door flew open and someone squeeled.

"ZOLO!" the voice said as zolo was suddly tackled to the ground by his childhood friend and on off lover Rebecca. zolo did love her bear in mind but the red headed women was very speratic.

"hey becca can you let me up to breath." zolo said. rebecca stood up letting zolo recover and then looked at him funny.

"so have you finaly decided to come back to me agian or are you planning on being a bad boy agian." she asked inncentaly.

"im not staying but i need your help. i need to get to first and your the only person with a ship i can use."he said knowing that she was going to have a big requriment.

"i dont know what are you willing to do for it.' she said as she pressed herself agiasnt zolo's chest.

"I think Latea will be fine until tomorrow, and I really think that the luncheon can wait until dinner, don't you?" Rayos asked, wrapping his arms around Aki again and kissing her again and making his voice sound as much like a politician as he could manage, "We can just tell the Consuls that we were intensely deliberating the issues at hand and doing extensive research in order to formulate an unbiased and informed opinion given the current legislation at hand." He let his voice drop back to his normal tone "What do you think, they gonna buy it?"

The staggering line of flickering electronics finally stopped and a single light in Zolo's cabin started flickering on and off.

"Well, it might work, but I think that headache affected your memories a bit more than we thought, because we're also in Landing to get me upgraded. Remember now? It's been 12 years since my last tune-up. I'm technically obsolete, and I need the latest tech. And, of course, you know the only place where I'm going to get that overhaul, right?" She gave him one of those looks that said "Right?"

Zolo thought about her question for a second then a big grin came on his face. He wraped his arms around her waist as an evil plan formed in his head.

She's gonna kill me after this one but at least both of us can enjoy it and i still can get of nassira. Win-win situation in my oppion. He thought.

"I dont know becca how far were you planning on going." He wispared.

He moved his head in and kissed her sweetly.

Besides she's the one who broke up with me last time anyway. He thought.

 

"Well Zolo I think we could go as far as we want." Rebecca said in an inncent voice. Her eyes softned as she looked at Zolo and memorys of their past flashed through her head. "I missed you so much i never meant what i had said." She said buried her face into his chest. Can i realy do this to him. She thought.

 

Zolo looked away for a second from rebecca and noticed the light flickering in her cabin. He brushed it aside and returned his focus on her.

"Not Malion..." Rayos muttered, "I always feel like ripping that kid's head in half whenever I catch him staring at you're..." He looked down Aki "Everything, pretty much." He pulled Aki a little closer "I'm really starting to miss Leroy. He had the most redneck name in space, but at least he didn't constantly drool over you..."

 

Becca's lamp flicked off, and, at the same instant, the TV behind Zolo, directly in Becca's line of sight, flickered to life, displaying only static at first, though that quickly faded until it was just a white screen with a single black swoosh, resembling an uncrossed 'J'.

[Ace Daimon]

"My turn!" Alice cackled as she drew her card.

"I Normal Summon Flamvell Firedog in Attack Mode!"

A fiery canine started running alongside Alice's mech. (1900 ATK)

"Now I will attack your Legionnaire with my Firedog!"

The beast shot a fireball at Legionnaire, which never stood a chance. (Latea: 3300 LP) However, some of the debris from the attack actually hit Latea's armor, damaging it.

"Remember our last duel, you abomination?!?" Alice cried out. "Well, I've become a bit more proficient at my pyrokinesis, so I hope you don't mind if I turn up the heat of this duel, eh?!?"

Firedog started to flare up, which caused a humanoid dragon to appear out of the firestorm. (1700 ATK)

"And my Firedog's effect allows me to Special Summon a FIRE monster with 200 DEF or less whenever I destroy a monster as a result of battle, so my Grunika will attack your Debris Dragon!"

Grunika threw a fireball at Debris, destroying it and damaging Latea even more. (Latea: 2600 LP)

"And my Grunika's effect activates, allowing me to deal damage to you equal to the Level of the monster it destroyed x 200!"

Grunika breathed in, then spouted a blue flame that burned Latea even more. (Latea: 1800 LP)

"I end my turn!"

"Well..." Aki replied. "Doctor Malion knows me inside and out better than you do." She then paused and blushed as she realized what she had just said, and added. "Well, not in the way you're thinking, but he knows how my systems work and how to make them work better. Besides, he's upgraded me 16 times, and with each one I was light-years ahead of what was currently on the market. Plus, he told me that he has a surprise or two in store for for Aki V20, or did you forget what was coming up soon?"

Becca staired at the T.V. for a only a few second before she figured she need to get Zolo to go away.

"hey Zolo can you wait for me in my room." she asked in that voice of her's that could make him do anything. Zolo looked at her for a second then started to walk towords her room.

"Dont be to long Becca." he said just loud enough for her to hear.

"I wont." she said as she watched him remove his shirt before entering her room.

Dont worry Zolo I'll be there as fast as i can.

"Aki, how could I possibly forget?" Rayos asked her, giving her another kiss, trying to pulled her mind away from her next upgrade to more important concerns. "Aki, you're not trying to distract me for some reason?" He asked, giving her a soft kiss on the forehead.

 

The TV screen flickered a few times and then a silver, circuit laced hand started reaching out, then another, and the TV remote leaped through the air into the hands, which proceeded to adjust the hue, brightness, saturation, and pretty much every other video setting. The hands then dropped the remote and retracted back into the screen, and, after a couple seconds, a bright light flashed out of the screen and a silver haired being with a circuit pattern across his clothes and eyes appeared in the room "I hope that I'm not interrupting something, Gluttony." D.U.O.S said, offering the girl his hand, "I must say, you don't fit your sin's description at all." The Agent of Deceit, the lone CAD member not based on one of the Seven Deadly Sins of Terra, said "The thoughts going through my mind would be much more befitting with Lust, with a mild sprinkling of Envy for the guy in the back."

"Of course not." Aki replied. "Now, since we have so much time to research, where would you like to get started?"

 

"My turn! Draw!" Latea cried out.

"I Tribute my Shield Wing to Special Summon Dragunity Primus Pilus in Attack Mode!"

Shield Wing disappeared in a sudden gale, and a larger, more heavily armored winged soldier floated down onto the field alongside Latea. (2200 ATK)

"Now I will activate Pilus' effect, equipping itself with Dragunity Brandistock from my Deck!"

A pink dragon rushed out of Latea's Deck and turned into a pink lance, which Pilus grabbed.

"Attack Firedog and Grunika!"

Pilus flew at Flamvell Firedog, skewering the creature, then turning and adding Grunika to the shiskabob. (Alice: 3200 LP)

[Ace Daimon]

Alice smirked as she flipped up her face-down.

"Activate Trap Card! Backfire!"

Firedog and Grunika started to swell, then exploded, sending waves of fire at Latea. (Latea: 800 LP)

"My Trap Card is one of many new additions to my Deck, thanks to my promotion to Tetrarch! I've modified my Deck from utilizing brute force to also dealing extra damage to my opponent's Life Points, as you've seen so far, which is where my handy little Trap Card Backfire comes in handy! As a little insurance to guarantee my victory, every time one of my FIRE monsters is destroyed, you lose 500 Life Points!"

"Gee. Thanks for letting me know." Latea replied sarcastically as she looked over her singed and scorched body and armor.

"But I'm not done yet! I activate MY face-down card, Swallow's Nest!"

A huge mechanical portal materialized behind Latea, and she moved aside as Pilus entered the portal.

"This card allows me to Tribute my Pilus to Special Summon another Winged-Beast-Type monster from my Deck, and I choose Dragunity Cross-Wing!"

A powerful, four-winged, black-armored solider with two scimitar-like swords and a scarred face shaped like an "X" flew out of the portal. (2300 ATK)

"Now I will activate his effect, equipping my Naginata to him as an Equip Spell Card!"

The familiar sword-like Dragunity monster turned into a sword, which Cross-Wing placed on his back. (2300 ATK -> 2900 ATK)

"Cross-Wing also has a special ability, allowing him to gain ATK equal to half the ATK of the equipped monster!"

Cross-Wing swung his swords around, ready for battle. (2900 ATK -> 3350 ATK)

"Cross-Wing, attack her directly! Double-Cross Slash!"

Cross-Wing executed an X-shaped slash at Alice, then whipped out his Naginata and brought that down on the mech. (Alice: 0 LP)

[Ace Daimon]

Alice coughed up a bit of blood, but was still cocky.

"You honestly think that dueling me once will stop me?!? Think again, you perversion! I was simply testing your strength with a less-powerful version of my Deck!"

Alice converted her mech back into Duel Runner form, and sped off.

"I will be back, Latea! Just you wait and see!"

[Joey Miles]

"You!" Gluttny said in a very annoyed voice. "Of corse I dont fit my God Damn sin discription right now. If i showed Zolo and sign that I've changed after the last time he saw me then my cover would be blown and i couldnt get the old farts on the councel here to vote for the new law now could I?" Gluttny said still sounding annoyed. "Besides why do you think lust or evny would fit me better because i have a thing for Zolo!" she said. It was probley the fact that the guy had struck a nerve with Rebecca but she was just angery at him.

 

Damn what is that girl doing. Zolo thought. He could hear some noise in the livingroom but for some reason he couldnt get himself to leave her room. she'd better hurry up or im gonna have to try something diffrent.

The Duelhog pulled over to Latea, who was damaged from the fight.

"Come on, girl! Let's get you home!" Malion declared as he hoisted Latea into the back of the vehicle. Elrod stepped on it, and they zoomed off of the hyperexpressway and into the city.

 

Meanwhile, Janus was impressed with Latea's performance.

"Impressive. Even without her Synchro Monsters, she managed to pull off a One-Turn Kill."

Janus' hair gained pigtails.

"I wanna play with Latea some more!"

It then retracted the pigtails and became spiky.

"Yes...let's have some fun with the little b***hbot!"

The hair returned to normal.

"But how about we send our android?"

A pair of glowing red eyes lit up in the darkness behind Janus.

D.U.O.S. reached out and ran one hand through Becca's hair and down her arm "You're too seductive looking to be Gluttony." The deceitful program told her, the static covering his body giving her very faint electric shocks wherever he touched her, large enough to be noticed, but small enough to only register as a faint tingling sensation "That Zolo wants a relationship with you, despite knowing that you'll only end up hurting him." He thought about that sentence for a few moments " How very... me of you."

"No" she said pulling away from his hand. "I may end up hurting him or he may end up helping us but i cant leave him that will do more damage then anything else i can do." she said tears starting to collect in her eyes. "besides he give me the love that i desire and only from him do i feel truly loved. cant i just talk him with us. you know give him such a good night he wont know whats going on?" she asked.

 

"where is she." Zolo said out loud as he loosend his belt some. "maybe i should just find take her ship but then i might lose her agian." he said quitly.

"You're too soft." D.U.O.S. told her "Have you forgotten what our Master's goals are?" He asked, "You're going weak on us, aren't you? CAD doesn't need more Sins. CAD as a whole doesn't need to know about the Sins. Or maybe I misheard you, because it sounded like you were considering telling Zolo that you're one of us, in which case I'll have to kill you and replace you with a stronger Duelist. I always did consider you the weakest Sin anyway."

"no im not going soft and i wouldnt tell him i would just keep him happy. He loves dueling and as long as he's doing that he never asks a single question." she said then it struck her. "I am not a weak duelist!" she yelled at him. "I remeber our masters plans but whats the harm of using Zolo?" she asked with the same voice that she used on Zolo. "I could even make it worth your time." she said.

[Blackstone Dresden]

"Becca, you can't flirt with me." D.U.O.S. told her with a smirk "I'm more than willing to have you make considering Zolo's worth as one of our pawns worth my time, after you get rid of him, of course." The CAD agent placed his hand on Becca's shoulder again, "So, how about you get rid of him and we can start considering his future at CAD." His right arm, the one still held at his side, started shimmering silver and a Duel Disk slowly started to extend from it. At the same time, the circuit pattern lacing his skin, hair, and clothes started to recede. "Or, I could just pose as a burglar, Duel him, let him win, and, since you're going to be too shaken up afterward, he'll leave and we can have our fun."

"D.U.O.S. please just give me ten minutes with him." she said realizing that maybe it was time to let Zolo go. "I'll give him my ship then it will be just you and I" she said as she kissed him on the lips. "You just better remeber." she said as she pulled out her sword and held it to his throght."i expect alot from my men." she turned and walked away to her room with only a singal tear trailing down her cheek.

[Blackstone Dresden]

"Becca, you do realize that I have my programming backed up on about four hundred twenty one thousand eight hundred and sixty one different mainframes across this system. If you kill this body, I'll just reupload myself to any networked device in your bedroom and kill Zolo out of spite." He had absolutely no emotion in his voice as he spoke, and, when Becca turned around, he was gone and the TV was flickering slightly, despite the fact that it was off.

Rebecca ignored him and walked into her room to find her window open and Zolo gone. On her bed layed a note for her in his hand writing.

At one point i believe i would have stayed with you and let you hold my heart in your hands. At one point i would have gone through anything for you. but now i dont think i could. i believe its time to stop fooling ourselves and move on to a new tommorrow. I know that you've made your choices and ive made mine and i wont fault your for them but just know this next time we meet we will be enemys.

Rebecca crumpled the note in her hand and saw the key to her ship was gone.

"THAT SON OF A jabroni!" she yelled. she walked out to her living room agian and smiled.

"hey D.U.O.S lets go im done with this place." she said as she pulled her hair out of her face.

"Are you sure you can't be done with this place in a couple hours?" D.U.O.S. asked, "You have a perfectly unoccupied bedroom right now, unless you're too scared to follow-through with your promise to make coming here worth my time, that is." He said, his circuit pattern reappearing all over him as he spoke.

 

Meanwhile, aboard the Season's Greetings, a single computer screen flickered to life, displayed the coordinates of the nearest satellite, and died in a puff of smoke. The satellite, however, started repositioning itself, aiming for another satellite, then another, then another, hopscotching throughout the system.
