As zolo got up and left the bar he headed back to the training grounds. as he walked along he noticed a kid being dueled by a duel drone. poor kid i cant let them do that to him. zolo thought. he ran over and pulled out his duel spinner.

"hey cyber dork why dont you fight someone who can actually duel." he said. as he activated the spinner.

(anyone want to be a duel drone for me?)

OoC: The second one. Duel Drone 2. The first one has Iron Chain monsters.

 

IC: "All right, all right!" Will cried. "Geez, lady..."

"It is my turn." The first Duel Drone wheezed. It must be running out of fuel. "Summoning of Iron Chain Blaster (1100/0). I attack Card Trooper, who has no attack points due to Iron Chain Snake's effect. I end."

"sheet..." Will cursed as Card Trooper was blown away.

"...So I lost Card Trooper. You guys are still going down!" Will drew a card. "I summon Primordial Terra Megistrus! (0/0)

When equipped to a monster by this effect, all attack and defense points the monster gains through its card effect is, instead of being multiplied by however many points, is now multiplied by a number 100 points greater. By sending a card this card is equipped to and equipped a "Helios" monster that gains lower attack and defense points to this card from your Graveyard, you can destroy one card on the field.

 

"Now, I equip it to Helios Trice Megistrus! This card allows Helios Trice Megistrus to times the number of cards removed from play be 400 to gain attack and defense points!"

A green and blue earth suddenly appeared, and the three Helios suns starting orbiting around it. Helios' attack and defense changed to 4000.

"But I'm not done! By sending Helios to the grave and returning Helios Duo Megistrus to the field, I can destroy one card on your field, like your last Spell card! This leaves you all open to defeat!"

One of the suns imploded, and Duel Drone 2's spell card was destroyed. Helios' points dropped back to 3000.

"Now, since Duel Drone 2 is wide open, I can destroy it with my Helios Duo Megistrus! Go! Burning Gaia Flare!"

The two suns launched a huge fireball at Duel Drone, who sparked suddenly and collapsed to the floor, utterly destroyed.

"Well, that ends my turn. Since Duel Drone Numero Dos is going to be out for a while, that means it's your turn, Izzy."

A huge, tough pig-looking creature with a tinier pig riding on top charged in. (1800 ATK -> 2300 ATK)

The two beans leapt into the air, each one of them becoming a ring, while Rosewhip and Wildhog jumped in between the two rings, becoming a total of 7 stars.

"Synchro Summon! Naturia Leodrake!"

The array erupted into a beam of light, which created a huge lion made out of plants. (3000 ATK -> 3500 ATK)

"Now, due to my Wildhog's effect, I have to destroy my Butterfly and one of your Traps."

Naturia Butterfly was grabbed by the Gaia Power and dragged into the roots, but so was one of Duel Drone 1's face-downs.

"Now, Leodrake, finish it off!"

Leodrake roared and charged at the Duel Drone.

[Blackstone Dresden]

"Turn Protocol initiated." The second one said in its rusted tone of voice "Junk Forward in Defense Mode. Tuning Forward, Armor, Synchron. Synchro Summon. Junk Destroyer. Destroyer's effect: Valkyrion and Gardna are destroyed. Direct Attack: Elrod. Turn Protocol concluded."

 

The third Duel Drone let out a few more mechanical clicks, placed one more card in its Spell and Trap Zone, and let out even more mechanical clicks.

"Ha ha ha!" Malion chuckled as he revealed his face-down Trap Card. "I activate my face-down cards, Scrap-Iron Barricade and Scrap-Iron Trap Hole!"

A pit made out of junk appeared beneath Junk Destroyer, sending it back to the Extra Deck, as a barrier of junk formed in front of Valkyrion, protecting it from Junk Destroyer's effect.

"My Barricade prevents a card from being destroyed by card effects for the turn, while my Trap Hole sends the Special Summoned monster back to your hand, or in this cas, your Extra Deck!"

Elrod thanked Malion as the third Duel Drone set a card.

"And for my last Trap Card..." Malion continued. "I activate Scrap-Iron Jury Rigging!"

A huge pair of rusted metal teeth clamped down on the Set card and tore it to pieces as the giant bear trap winched itself back down, and vanished.

"Any response, you rust-buckets?" Malion taunted.

 

Meanwhile, on a far-off planet, a couple was lying next to each other in a bed in a hotel room.

"Rayos..." A feminine voice called out as the woman, who had very long, currently unstyled red and white hair, as well a golden eye and a blue eye, nudged her partner, who had a large gauntlet attached to his arm. "Rayos, get up!"

The rust-jawed Duel Drone's jaw had apparently locked in place, because he made no sound but just fell back a few feet to let the others take the lead.

 

The third Duel Drone simply beeped and blipped but otherwise did absolutely nothing short of falling back to match pace with his lone surviving companion.

 

"Now?" The immortal amnesiac asked, nuzzling closer to her "What's so important that it can't wait another twenty minutes?" He kissed the girl on the cheek and wrapped his arm around her "I was having an amazing dream."

Aki returned the kiss, and scooted closer, her breasts against Rayos' back as she wrapped her arms around his muscular torso. "So...what was this dream about? Was I in it?"

 

"Thanks Elrod, Doctor Malion. I'm so glad to have you two with me. Now, I will finish these two off! I draw and I play Dragunity Knighting Ceremony!"

Dragonic Knight and Dragunity Knight - Gáebolg appeared on the field, the latetr of which knelt before the former. Dragonic Knight whipped out his sword, and placed it on both of Gáebolg's shoudlers, before flying away. Gáebolg turned to face Latea's opponents. (2000 ATK)

Tribus and Pilum returned to fly next to Latea. (1400 ATK) (500 ATK)

Pilum turned into 3 rings, which Tribus flew into, becoming a single star.

"Synchro Summon, Dragunity Arms Gram!"

The array exploded into a beam of light, and an orange-clad knight-like dragon glided out of the beam, and started running alongside Latea in tribus and Pilum's place. (1000 ATK)

"Now, I will Tune Dragunity Arms Gram with Dragunity Knight - Gáebolg!"

Gram flew ahead as Latea started to speed up. Malion and Elord dropped back a bit to give Latea some room. The android fired up her inertial thrusters, propelling her into a world of purple wind and a distant light.

"Accel Synchro Summon! Dragunity Arms Knight - X Karibull!!!"

Gáebolg was surrounded by four rings, which turned him into 6 stars. As the rings and stars collided, a bright flash of light echoed through the enormous tunnels. When the light receeded, a shining dragon with cannons for wings stood in its place. (2500 ATK)

Increase the ATK and DEF of this card by 1/2 of the equipped monster's ATK and DEF. This monster gains the effects of the equipped monster. A pair of solid-looking turrets, both blue and each one with three cannons, replaced the dual turrets on X Karibull's array. (2500 ATK -> 3700 ATK) "Now I attack you directly with Laevatein and X Karibull!!!"

Laevatein swopped in and slashed at the rusty Duel Drone, destroying it, as X Karibull charged up its lasers. (Duel Drone: 0 LP)

"FIRE!!!"

The cannons all unleashed a massive volley of energy beams, obliterating the final Duel Drone. (Duel Drone: 0 LP)

OoC: Oh, I didn't notice that. I'll change Will's LP to 1400. Not that it matters, anyway...

 

IC: Will saw Naturia Leodrake launch forward at Iron Chain Blaster. It would destroy it, for sure, but the Duel Drone would not be destroyed...not unless he used Primordial Terra Megistrus! "I chain with Primordial's effect!" Will shouted. "I send Helios Duo Megistrus to the Graveyard and take Helios- The Primordial Sun back to destroy your Iron Chain Blaster!" One more sun imploded, leaving just the Earth and the Sun. Over on the Duel Drone's side of the field, the Iron Chain Blaster was destroyed too. Naturia Leodrake leaped for the Duel Drone's throat. "No -zzt- cannot computeee..." The second Duel Drone fell to the floor, completely destroyed by this effect.

"Well, looks like we got rid of them!" Will said brightly, stepping forward and picking up the V.I.U. from where he had dropped it. "And I barely harmed the ship, see?" He gestured around the ship. Ugh. His statement was ruined by the marks left by the Duel Drone's meltdowns. "Um, well...yeah...hey, I missed half the duel!" Will said indignantly, looking down at the V.I.U. "Aaw...there's only two Duel Drones left..."

[Ace Daimon]

Izzy loomed angrily over Will. "Keith..." She wheezed, breathing deeply as she tried to calm down. "Go get...the straps...the whip...and...the gag." Keith saluted as he went to fetch the kinky bondage stuff. Izzy, thinking about all of the pain and torture she was going to inflict upon Will's person, started cackling evilly as she whipped out a button, which locked all of the doors on the ship, preventing Will from escaping.

"You are going to pay for what you did to my floor, in more ways than one!"

[Quiksilver]

"Unhun, sure..." Will said absentmidedly, wrapped up in the duel. "Hmm...nice...that got rid of them." He savored the victory as that doctor-like man completely thrashed the other Duel Drone. Just then, he comprehended Izzy's words. "Aahh..." He said, stepping back. "Can't we talk about this?...No?..." Uh-oh. Izzy looked serious...time to get out of here! To the door- sheet. It's locked. Well...looks like Will was done for.

[Blackstone Dresden]

"You could say that." Rayos said, smiling "But, I'm assuming we have more important things to attend to than simply what thoughts were in my mind while I was asleep in your arms. Or who else was there..." He added quieter, knowing that she could still hear him.

 

Meanwhile, while the computer technicians aboard the Season's Greetings were playing a game of Regiresian Hold 'Em, one of the computer terminals briefly booted itself online, unnoticed by everyone in the room, save for one of the tech's pet dog, who started yipping incessantly. A second later, the words LINK OK flashed onscreen and the terminal turned off.

"ok cyber dork yor done for. hey little dude run away." zolo said as he drew 5 cards from his spinner. the little kid ran and the duel began.

"ok lets start this off right by me going first. Draw!" he said looking at his hand.not bad, not my best but not bad.

"i play my Blast magician in attack mode. to start things off." he said with the magican appring on the feild.

(blast magician=each time a spell card is activitaded this card gains one spell counter. you can remove any number of speel counter from this card to destroy 1 monster with att equal or less then the counters removed x700)

"next i play my magical citadol of endoniom." a large magical city erupted on the feild and balst magican gained a counter. "then i play double summon to summon out my rapid fire magician. and get this each time a normal spell is activated you lose 400 life points. finaly i activate denkento the cure master. giveing me 1000 more life points and making you lose 400. i play one card face down and end my turn now."

"Well, we have an appointment with Consuls Katsuragi and Rodriguez of First at the Senate Building in the Federal District." Aki replied. "As you know, First's government is modeled after the old United States of America with a few Romanesque tweaks, such as two Presidents, called Consuls, that are from the differing political parties, Progressives and Traditionalists, respectively, so that the two parties have equal power. Ironically, this actually makes things much more effective, because the Consuls are also their party's official leaders, thanks to the idea of designing a system WITH political parties in mind instead of without."

"Thank you for the morning government lesson, Ms. Aki" Rayos said, joking playfully with her, "But you're forgetting that, youthful appearance notwithstanding, I'm three and a half centuries old... somehow... I know my governments." He slipped his flesh and blood arm around Aki's waist and gently flipped her around so that she was facing him. The immortal then gave her a quick kiss and smiled "Anyway, the Consuls can wait for an hour or so, can't they?" He smiled and and pulled the cyborg closer to him.

"Well, it's currently 5:99, pardon, 6:00 in the morning, and our luncheon is at 7:75, so we have an entire First hour before we have to get ready." Aki flipped Rayos over so that she was lying on his chest. She made little circles around his right nipple with her left pointer finger, which she knew was a sensitive spot. "Which is plenty of time to continue what we started last night." She kissed him, and wrapped her arms around his neck, supporting his head. "You know, we've been married for over 3 centuries, and in love for more than that, yet we never get tired of each other. Why do you think that is?"

"not much of a move you stupid robot. let me show you how its done. Draw!" zolo said. he looked at the card and smiled.

"time to put the hurt on. i play swords of reveling light!" large white swords sorrounded the drones monsters when the card was played and rapid fire magician shot at the drone killing another 400lp. then zolos blast magician and citydol gained another spell counter each.

"next i activate pitch black powerstone which gives my blast magician another spell counter puting him at 5. and now every turn i can move one of the 2 remaining spell counters from my powerstone to anything on my field that can use spell counters. now i end."

as zolo dueled he could clearly remeber how things used to be before the lincence law was laid down. he could duel every day agianst good duelists and enjoy himself but now. now things were going to far and to add to his troubles his planet was found to be rich in rousorces and they were planning on using it for just that. problem is if they did that his home would become poluted making zolo want to take out these idiots even more.

For most of a century, it was this big clunky thing that was impossible to hide in public, now, it's smooth, streamlined, and all I need to do is wear long sleeved shirts and gloves and no one can tell the difference between this arm." He wiggled his fingers "And this one." He tickled Aki's ribs with his flesh hand "And, after this much time, I still don't know why I haven't aged to dust, why I couldn't return to my original universe after the Paradox incident, why I never forget anything, or what exactly happened to me before waking up on that rooftop oh so many lifetimes ago. With so many mysteries left unknown, how can we possibly be sick of each other?" He kissed her forehead and held his lips there for a long moment "Let me rephrase that, actually." He said "With all of this to offer," he ran his metal arm down Aki's back and placed his hand on her hip, "How can I, or anyone else for that matter, EVER get sick of you?"

Aki decided to answer with another kiss, but before they could start going a bit further than foreplay, the phone rang. "Incoming message for Professor Drakensis of New Alexandria University." The phone rang. Aki reached over and picked it up. "Aki Drakensis speaking...Oh, hi Sybil!...No I was just busy getting ready to meet the Consuls...No, not anything important...Wait, what?...Check out the news now?...Alright...See you soon...bye!" Aki put the phone up, and flipped over and off of Rayos, ordering "Television. On. Channel 5." The news came on to show the footage of Latea, Malion, and Elrod dueling the Duel Drones, as well as Latea Accel Synchro Summoning.

"She's back." Aki stated in amazement.

Unbeknownst to all parties, like Aki and Rayos, one more person was watching Latea. "So the android decided to show her face again." The tall, well-groomed man said, stroking his beard. He stood, half-concealed by a ledge, on a Landing's building's balcony, three hundred meters of where Latea, Malion, and Elrod now stood. It would be nigh impossible to see from that distance without an enhancer of some kind, but that's what's Wrath high-tech glasses, which could also convert into a Duel Disk and look pretty sweet, were made for. "I wonder..." Wrath thought, and then a cruel smile twisted his face. Then, suddenly, he was gone.

 

It took Wrath less than two minutes to scale the building and find his way to the surface. Walking forward, Wrath saw the two men, Elrod and Malion, in their strange Warthog jeep. Perfect. They were looking the other way...Wrath walked forward swiftly, and, getting very close to the vehicle, slipped a tracking device onto the underside of the card. Smiling slightly, Wrath slipped away and blended in with the crowd. Now he could follow or send someone after the pair...and accomplish his orders to stir up trouble.

Latea skated over to the Duel Runner that had been attacked by the Duel Drones beforehand, and decided to check on the person riding it. Late thought to herself. "Are you having engine trouble?" Latea called out to the person in rags, and decided to reach for the hunched-over person...

 

Meanwhile, Elrod was detecting something from the falling-apart Duel Runner.

"Doctor, we have a problem!"

Malion looked down at the display, and gasped.

"Latea, get out of there!!!" He yelled, but to no avail.

The "Duel Runner" suddenly shifted from old and busted into a sleek, black Duel Runner with two sidecars. The entire contraption looked weaponized, angular, and threatening. The person in rags was now a young woman in a sleek black bodysuit with some armor plating attached, spiky hair that was colored and highlighted to look like it was on fire, and emerald-green eyes in two twin seas of black.

"Thought you got rid of me two years ago, didn't you, you perversion!!!" The woman roared at Latea as she initiated a duel. "Well, I, Alice Evans, now a Tetrarch, have triumphantly returned to settle this once and for all!!! You will be annihilated for being a heretic and a mockery of our Goddess!!!"

Latea gasped as her Duel Systems reactivated. "Alice! I thought I killed you in our last battle!"

 

Aki turned to Rayos after her brief moment of shell-shockedness. "Well, we have a few options. We could quickly get ready for the meeting, run down to Victor's place and check in on Latea, then go to the meeting..." She then rolled back onto Rayos and briefly licked him on the cheek. "Or we could continue having some fun until we DO need to get ready, and worry about Latea after we've met with the Consuls."

[Ace Daimon]

"Ha ha ha!" Alice laughed evilly. "I merely needed to be repaired, which is why my mission was aborted and I was sent back to Nike for some R&R, but now I'm ready to finish you off!!!"

She pressed a button on the Duel Runner, causing it to start to transform. The middle section of the vehicle lifted up a few feet and contracted as the front and back pair of wheels, along with the bottom section of the chassis, spun around 90 degrees. This bottom section then shifted to form a pair of legs as the sidecars moved to a position next to the newly-forming cockpit. The sidecars transformed into a pair of arms as the middle section transformed into a secure cockpit area for Alice, who then hooked up to the mech.

"How do you like my new Templar MkVII?" Alice cried out over a set of speakers built into her war machine. "It's the latest Nike Combat Vehicle, and much better than the standard Crusader MkIX, my old ride!"

Two kings from a few other Trap Cards went up to each other and shook hands as soldiers stormed in and executed Rapid-Fire Magician and Blast Magician.

Rayos shook his head and wrapped his arms around Aki again "After three centuries together, you still don't know me enough not to have to ask that question?" He asked Aki, smiling again and kissing her. "Obviously we should go check in on Latea, she's much more fun than being alone with you in our suite with the door locked." He grinned and kissed her again.

 

For a brief instant, the screen on Alice's Duel Mech flickered and four rapid clicks came out of her speakers. After that instant, however, the screen settled itself again and everything was seemingly back to normal.
