Jack ran up to Zane and Brittney, appearing out of breath. As soon as he could form words, he said, "I'm sorry to interrupt your little date, but have either of you seen Lieutenant Crucifen? I was told to find him and tell him to get back to the camp. They said it was urgent, some of the men are complaining that there is no ammunition left!" As the last word left Jack's mouth, he looked up and Zane and Brittney his face clearly in a state of panic.

"The best part of believe, Jack, is the 'lie' in the middle. Which completely defines what you just said. Your sarcastic side believed making fun of a 14-year-old guy walking with a 17-year-old girl walking by making it look like a relationship was a lie in itself." Zane said with a smirk on his face. "Although, on the other note, I haven't seen him, and doubt the amount of ammunition would be a problem if the rebels actually did something to obtain some." Zane's expression grew dark. "All this is simply a one-sided war, and right now there's not a thing we can do." Suddenly, The ground under Zane's feet collapsed and he fell into a hole in the ground.

Jack suddenly saw Zane fall through a gaping hole that just happened to appear in the ground. He looked down to see Zane at the bottom of the hole lying on his back.

"Serves you right for trying to pick up a 17-year old girl. If you need help getting back up here, I'll gladly help you after all the lunch is gone." Jack yelled down into the hole and then he turned to Brittney and said, "You might want to get a doctor for your boyfriend, he might've broken a bone or two and while you're at it can you find Lieutenant Crucifen for me? Whether we are winning this war or we're not, we have a better chance of winning if we have ammunition.

"Listen He's Not My Boyfriend He's Just My Friend And If You Say One More Stupid Thing About Us, Your Going To Need The Doctor, And Not Just Fallin Down The Hole Cause Trust Me I Will Bury You Two Alive Down Their Cause I Dont Really Care At This Point" . Britney Said Rudely And Angrily At Jack. She Turned To Go Walk Back To The Rebels Because She Was Infront Of Zane When He Fell In The Whole, And In Her Quickness TO Get Out Of Their She Forgot About The Whole ANd Fell In Landing Right Next To Zane. "WHEN I GET OUTTA HERE YOUR TOAST JACK" . Britney Yelled Back Up The Hole As She Checked Her Leg, It Was Broken In Two Different Places.

Jack looked down into the whole and despite his attempt to keep a straight face, burst out laughing! As soon as Jack could speak, he yelled down into the hole, "Don't worry, you 2 lovebirds stay put, I'll get the doctor as soon as I've found the Lieutenant!" Jack was just about to walk away when 1 more funny joke came to mind and he yelled down into the hole one more time, "Don't worry I'll cover up the hole so you 2 can have your privacy!!!" With that, Jack quickly covered up the hole with a blanket without looking at Brittney's face steaming with anger.

 

When he was done laughing, Jack walked away, resuming his search for Lieutenant Crucifen while making a mental note to dig them out of the hole in maybe an hour or two.

Jason looked back to the forest. Yeah, he ran far enough today. The hill usually marked the distance but today he was feeling a little lazy. He started to jog back to his village. It was going to be a shorter jog back to the village, still it was going to be a good ten or fifteen minutes before he got back. He started singing a really old song on the way back to his village, to ake the jog more pleasant. After a little while he cam across a grassy field. With a hole in the middle of the plain. "What?" He walked towards the hole and tripped over a rock and fell in.

Adamo watched the scene below, and could hear some of what was said. As the ground beneath Zane collapsed, Adamo began to move. He was halfway down the hill when Jack covered the hole with a blanket, and began walking away. Hoping the man had a radio on him, Adamo pulled his out. "Soldier, you better turn around and dig those two out of the ground before I rain H*** on your life." Clicking off the radio, he tucked it into his belt, and slung his sub machine gun around his shoulder.

As soon as Jack had walked away, he suddenly heard a crash sound coming from the direction that he had come from. He walked back to the hole that he had covered and saw that Jason had accidently fallen into the hole with Brittney and Zane. If Jack had been laughing hard before, he tumbled on his back laughing. "Oh this is rich, the rest of the men will absolutely love to hear about this story. Don't worry, Jason I'm sure Zane wouldn't mind sharing. I'll come to get you 3 as soon as I've found the Lieutenant, in the meantime," Jack threw down his copy of "The History of NGL". "You can read this to keep yourself entertained." With that, Jack covered up the hole yet again and walked away. As soon as he walked away, the radio that Jack had conveniently forgotten about began to talk "Soldier, you better turn around and..."

Before the radio could say anymore, Jack threw it to the ground and stomped on it and continued looking for the Lieutenant, since it was probably Brittney that had called him.

"There's gonna be hell to pay when I get outta here Jack-@$$." Zane stood up and brushed the dirt off of his clothes. "Anyone hurt?" Zane looked over at the two, seeing that obviously Britney was hurt and likely Jason. He tried walking, but only fell over and cringed. "Crap, at least two of my ribs are broke. What should we do now? Considering it's likely Jack won't be back for quite a while." I swear if he brings a camera or some crap, he'll be the one in the hole when I bury him alive

Adamo saw what Jack had done, and his anger with the man continued to grow. Adamo broke into a run, increasing his speed. While Jack continued walking, Adamo began to accelerate, and soon got close enough for Jack to hear him. He continued running, but took a deep breath so he would have enough air to be heard. "Jack!" He couldn't tell whether he was heard or not, so he decided on a drastic decision, the kind of which gave him his reputation. He pushed against the ground, and leapt into the air. With a cry of "Jaaack!" he landed, tackling the man to the ground.

Britney Yelled Up The Whole As She Cracked Her Knuckles And Attempted To Get Up, Only To Fall Painfully To The Ground.

Jack had just walked away when all of a sudden, a flying shadow came tackling him yelling "JAACK!!" He immediately grabbed the man and threw him to the ground and said, "What the heck is the big idea, you almost made me think I was under attack!! Jack screamed at the man before he realized it was the Lieutenant he had been searching for. "Lieutenant, I'm glad I found you, the men need you now. We may have an ammunition shortage"

Jason grabed his arm which hit the ground first. "Yeah, I'm not in the best condition either. But I'll tough it out." Jason struggled to get up then fell back down. "Ow." He said in a monotone voice. He tried to get back up again, this time with success. He looked back up at the hole enterance. "No way we are getting back up there. Let's try to find an exit." Jason started to limp over to one side of the cave. "You guys can't get up?"

"I Definatly Can't Cause My Legs Broken And Next Time I See Jack Im Gunna Break His Legs And His Ribs And His Arms ANd Then We'll See Who's Laughing Now" . Britney Said In A Very Pissed Off Tone. She Tried Getting Up Again And It Worked OUt This Time. She Used The Walls For Support But She Had Lost Her Footing And Fell Onto The Hard Floor. "This Is seriously not working out for me guys, Im pretty much annoyed right now" . Britney Said As She Just Layed On The Ground And Waited For Someone TO Help Her.

Adamo shook his head, then stared at Jack. Gathering himself, he tried to calm down, but found it quite difficult. After a minute, he was composed enough to speak (or so he thought). "Jack...As your Lieutenant, I want you to turn around, walk up to that hole, and pull up the three people who fell in." He held up a hand before Jack could speak. "I don't care about the men right now. They can wait five f***ing minutes, because I am not leaving this spot until all three of them are out, and I learn that they are unharmed. If any of them are harmed, you can bet you'll have H*** to pay, unless you can supply me with a good excuse otherwise."

Jack listened sternly to the lieutenant, taking in every word that he said. He then proceeded to......................Laugh

 

"Sorry Lieutenant, I can't let them up just yet." Jack looks at his watch, and says, "Its only been 30 minutes, they still have 30 minutes left. Don't worry, I left them my copy of The History of NGL to keep them entertained. Plus I wanted to take a quick picture of the lovebirds before I let them up. I was just about to go get my camera and then continue searching for you." You can dig them up if you want, but don't expect any help from me. By the time you've dug them up, I'll be far away. Jack looked at the lieutenant and then just walked away.

Adamo growled, and clenched his fists, trying to suppress his anger. Unfortunately, his anger won. Adamo took a quick step forward, and slugged Jack in the back of the head, bowling him over. He proceeded to grab the man, lift him by his collar, and glare at him. "What...the...f***...is wrong with you?!" He shoved the man away, and watched as he stumbled and fell to the ground. "Jack...Jack...I thought you would have learned your lesson about following orders by now." He stepped forward, and raised his foot, as if about to stomp on Jack's head. He slammed it down...right beside his head. "Now...go get those three out...NOW!!!"

Jack felt a swift blow suddenly connect with his head. He saw the Lieutenant enraged as he yelled at Jack to bring the 3 back up from the hole. Jack listened and then with all his might slid out from under the Lieutenant, stood up walked towards the hole. "Fine I'll bring them back up" as soon as he was about to lift the blanket from the hole Jack suddenly had a malicious idea. He stood up and said, "Lieutenant, I don't follow anyone's orders" Jack lifted the blanket and kicked all around the hole trying to cause a cave-in. Suddenly a part of the hole did collapse... but Jack slipped in just as the side split off from the rock causing Jack to fall straight into the hole, landing on his head unconscious.

"Ah, the irony." Zane struggled to stand up and walked/limped over to Jack and kicked him in his unconscious face. "All in favor of leaving him behind and looking for an exit say aye." Zane yelled with a smirk on his face. "But first, who can walk and who needs help?" Zane looked up at the netrance to the hole and then around the hole. "By the way, anyone ever wondered how the hell a hole ended up here or just me?" Zane walked over to a wall and carefully sat down pondering the origin of the hole they were all in.

"AHHHH" . Britney Yelled As She Rolled Out Of The Way Of SOme Of the Cave That Had Almost Fallen ontop Of Her, Unluckily A Part Of It Landed On her Already Broken Leg. She Screamed In pain As She Tried Lifting It Off of her. "Seriously.......THIS IS NOT HAPPENING YOU BETTER KEEP ME AWAY FROM JACK CAUSE IM GUNNA KILL HIM" . Britney Yelled As She Attempted To Grab Alex To Choke Him But She Couldn't Move At All.

Adamo spun, and watched as Jack kicked the hole, falling in before it collapsed. He pressed a hand to his face, muttering "Aww, crap..." He began pacing, trying to figure out a way to get the four out of the hole. No doubt they would suffocate soon unless there was some secret tunnel that led out of there. After a minute, he decided on his option, thinking that there was no other way to do it without harming those trapped beneath. He pulled a small concussion grenade from his belt, and pulled the pin. He wedged it into the rocks that formed the lid, then spun and bolted away. After Adamo paused behind a tree, he silently counted to himself. One...two...three... At that moment, the grenade detonated, sending a small cloud of smoke into the air, and hopefully obliterating the lid over the hole.

Jack was awoken by a loud explosion. As debrie fell all around him he slowly tried to get up, but all of a sudden collapsed as he felt extremely dizzy. "How did I get down here? Last thing I remember I was kicking around the ho... The reality suddenly hit Jack that he was surrounded by an angry Brittney, Jason, and Zane, all wounded but alive.. At the bottom of the hole. Jack felt around his face, for some reason it felt like his whole face was broken. He saw Brittney fuming at him, Zane smirking, and Jason hurt. As his head started to clear up, Jack suddenly felt around his head and his fingers felt dried blood.

"Hmmm... I don't suppose there is a way for you guys to... forgive me?" Jack took out a roll of bandages that he kept with him just in case and wrapped some around his head.

"Now who the hell thought that blowing up a 15 feet deep hole would help us get out of the 15 feet deep hole?" Zane looked up at the entrance of the crater. "Thanks alot, you gave us air and all but hey that's perfect. It's definetly not like your causing large rocks to fall on us." Zane slowly walked over to Britney. "Anyone wanna help me carry her, we're gonna see where this cave goes. Oh, by the way, this hole was definetly man-made. So I guess that means there has to be something important down here, and since Mr. Blow us all to hell obviously can't do much, I'd say it's our best option."

Adamo heard Zane ranting, but ignored him, instead focusing on getting them out. After some searching, he found what suited him: a long, thick, sturdy vine, about 25 feet long. Satisfied, he tore the vine out of the tree it was in, and pulled it over to the hole. Again, he could hear Zane, and this time decided to reply. "Your welcome!" he cried. Then, with some difficulty, he secured one end of the vine to the ground, through a combination of digging holes, stabbing the vine with a dagger, and burying it. After a moment, he tugged and felt that it was secure. Then, he gripped the vine and slid down into the hole. "Alright...who's first?" he asked the group of ragged people.

Jack looked at Brittney and stepped away. "Sorry Zane, she's your girl....,, I mean friend, and she hates me so your only choice is Jason." Jack hands Zane a roll of bandages that he kept with him. "Its smart to keep bandages on you in wartime, you can use these to bandage her leg up first." Jack gave him the bandages and stepped away and felt his face. "In exchange for the bandages, mind telling me why my face feels like its broken when I landed on my head?"
