mabye its some amazing smart combo thingy i dont see..but why gadgets?..

Everytime 1 of the Gadget monsters is Normal or Special Summoned, you search your deck for 1 Specified Gadget monster and add it your hand. So you're shortening your deck everytime you play one.

If played correctly, and assuming your opponent doesn't completely over power you, you could potentially have All the Exodia pieces in a few short turns. Especially since almost every card in the deck is a card that either draws or shortens the deck.

Uhh ultimate offering anyone?

Yessir' date=' that would empty 9 cards

Why not Cyber Valley and/or Battle Fader and/or Tragodia. You don't really have to run that many Nightmare steelcages since those monsters stop battles automatically. There is plenty of Spell/Trap destruction that would mess your Swords of Revealing light, Nightmare Steelcage and Gravity Bind up. You can run Threatening Roar even since you can chain it to a destruction. But if you wanna run stall, I'm gonna suggest Messenger of Peace because it can stall forever. Crystal Seer may end up getting 2 Exodia Pieces, which is the worst case scenario.

Might as well run 2 Sarcos since you ARE stalling a little

Pot of Avarice? After you spent your life emptying your deck? And you run summoner monk with 7 spells? I don't think summoner monk is a good idea. After drawing 1 gadget, you're pretty much guaranteed a steady flow of gadgets in your hand.

Backup Soldier....meh I don't know about it. Have you playtested it? I think it would be a dead draw most of the time. If you decide to run Cyber Valley it would be redundant. i don't know about spirit barrier either so I'll take it out. Also, Waboku can protect your gadgets and/or life points which is another possible add.

I like the idea and also like magical hats. (perhaps you can run that at three)

[b']Monsters: 25[/b]

Yellow Gadget x3

Green Gadget x3

Emissary of the Afterlife x3

Tragodia x1

Cyber Valley x3

Upstart Goblin x2 x3 (since you won't be attacking your opponent)

I so gotta make this, except I don't have Magical Hats. Oh well, more random filler cards.

When I get around to it, I'll playtest this and see how it runs.

I was thinking maybe using Jar of Greed/Legacy of Yata-Garasu and maybe By Order of the Emperor. BooTE would turn your Gadget's searching effect into a card drawing effect, which might be helpful when you're out of searchable Gadgets.

At least this Exodia deck is an alternative to Appropriate Exodia or Exodia FTK.

@ THe ReBeL: Card Trader is probably too slow.

I used to run a stall deck but running like 9 "continuous" (you know what I mean right) cards that prevents attack really slows your deck down. Like half the time, I end up drawing level limit, gravity bind, nightmares steelcages, swords like every turn and my opponent sets up a Judgement Dragon or something and OTKs me. Exodia pretty much requires you to empty your deck and those cards don't really help speed it up a lot. Plus, sangan and emissary need to be destroyed by battle (or be sent into the graveyard somehow) to activate.

imho ground collapse only really shines in ojama decks
