Breeze Brawler reformed himself in a gust of wind "I activate my Trap Card, Transform Barrier." A black shadowy figure appeared behind him "By sending on Transformed Monster in my Extra Deck to the Graveyard, I can negate the destruction of one Monster on my field, in this case myself, and destroy the offending card." He pulled his sword out of the ground, spun it lightly, once, and sliced Gatling Dragon in half, kicking the Machine's upper body towards Trueman 1. "Now then, are you sure you want to Attack me?" He flicked the sword in a circle again and stabbed it back into the ground "Keep in mind that I'll have no problem beating you to death in any of my five other forms, so if you feel the need to kamikaze your Flame, it won't slow down your death. Not. One. Bit."

 

"AKI, we're getting the Hell out of here now." Drake said, looking at the four Duelists "Trust me, as soon as Elem decides to cut loose, this entire block's going to get blown to bits."

AKI shook her head. "No. I'm staying here with Rayos."

Trueman hesitated, and turned to the second Trueman. They nodded, and deactivated their Duel Disks, holding their hands up in the air.

"We surrender." They both said simultaneously.

The other Truemen scattered and ran away from Cici, who started to approach her captives..

((Again, wouldn't Truemen make more sense?))

 

Breeze Brawler nodded and a card appeared in his hand "I activate the Spell Card Power Down." He threw the sword into the air and was replaced by Elem and Rayos, the former drawing two kodachi out of seemingly nowhere and starting to rip the slowest Truemen to shreds, the latter stalking up to the first Trueman.

 

"Trueman, I am hurt by your cowardice. To think that Elem's words would make you and your companion here forfeit the Duel. If anything, the threat of your imminent deaths should have made you try harder." His hand spun in about a dozen circles, first clockwise, then counterclockwise, and finally started spinning like a drill. "I used to think this glove was just a prototype Duel Disk." The amnesiac teenager said, his Gauntlet's Wrist Dealer folding itself back into itself "But I've been learning to control it, to know what it can do, to know what it wants, what it likes." A malicious smirk flashed across his face for the briefest second "And I've come to realize something: This arm, this glove, whatever it is, it does not like when people I care about are threatened. And you just threatened to kill the person I care about the most." The Gauntlet started spinning faster and faster, until you could feel the small cyclone of wind it was stirring up "I promise, it'll be quicker than you deserve."

The first Trueman was about to leave, but Cici placed herself in between Rayos and the Trueman. "Back off, boy. He's from the Spirit World, which is my jurisdiction." She turned back to the entity. "You will remain silent unless I ask you a question. You say anything else, you will be destroyed. You will not get an attorney, even if one volunteers. Got it?"

The Trueman nodded meekly.

"Now, I am not only your arrestor, but also your interrogator, prosecutor, judge, jury...and executioner, if needed. Really helps with paperwork and prevents all of that needless 'due process' crap, doesn't it?"

The Trueman nodded again.

"Good. Now, you're going to tell me exactly who you're working for, or I start dismembering you. I think you won't need your legs in the next few seconds."

She summoned a blade, and prepared to slice off her captives' legs, when he yelled out "Ohm!"

"The Shadowpriestess? I didn't know she was working for the Power of Chaos. Good work."

"Can I leave now?" The Trueman asked.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk." Cici mocked. "You broke the rules. I never asked you a question. And I thought you were smarter than that."

She swiftly beheaded the shadowy creature, then stabbed the body in the heart, getting black blood all over herself.

"Aww, man! Do you realize how hard it is to get this out of my outfit?!?"

The Trueman dissolved into black goo, which evaporated a few seconds later. Cici, now drenched in black goo, tuend back to her allies.

"So, I guess we go back to Rayos and AKI's place and get changed, eh?"

Rayos sighed, grabbed the second Trueman, and plunged his hand through his sternum , causing him to disintegrate into most of a Deck "Seriously, I don't know who's house that is, but I've never seen it before." He shook his head once again and walked over to AKI, giving the android a faint smile as he did.

 

"And besides that, the place looks condemned, so how about instead we just go back to my place? Cici can shower, I can reopen my garage and fix up Vulcan, Lavax, and Faust, and Rayos and AKI can catch up."

 

"And what about..." Ilana started

 

"You're helping me fix up Vulcan. Or did you already forget that incident in Satisfaction Town?"

"Fine, Vayu willl become the tuner monster Mistrial the Silver Shield." A blue brid with a silver metal shield shaped face appeared. "Now, show me what else you've got, old friend."

"Come on!" The arrow pointed towards the sattelite. "Fine" She rev'd up her engine and blasted off. She could feel the cold night air flowing through her hair. She hoped to see some familliar faces soon, running into the strange boy was kinda weird. She was half way across the Daeleus Bridge. ":C'mon, can't this thing go any faster?!" She drove off, still complaining.

ooc:you know which bridge i'm talking about. the new one connecting sattelite and Neo-Domino.

AKI glumly nodded and transformed into her motorcycle mode. "Does anyone need a ride?" she asked.

Cici shook her head. "No thank you, sweetie. I can manage on my own."

AKI was still perplexed at the mysterious woman who was covered in black goop. "I was just wondering, why are you helping us? You definitely don't seem to be a good guy."

"Because there is a delicate balance between the various factions of the Spirit World, and the Power of Chaos is upsetting that balance. Someone has to fix it, and the powers-that-be have contracted me to help them do the job, because they don't care what has to be done to restore the status quo, as long as it gets restored."

"Fairy Meteor Crush, equip to Sigma." Mark said as his Monster's blades turned to stone "Destroy his Mistral. Your move."

 

"Faust, online." Rayos commanded as his solid black Duel Runner drove over to him and AKI "Engage autopilot, destination two." He said as a few lights flickered on Faust's dashboard before a path to Drake's garage locked itself in "Duel Mode standby, Warrior Deck locked in." The amnesiac reached into his deck box and slipped his Deck into Faust's dashboard, followed closely by his Extra Deck and, after a moment's hesitation, Elem, Spirit, and his Transformed Monsters "Go." At the word, Faust revved its engines and headed off to the garage. "AKI, it seems that I need a ride now."

 

Ilana laughed as she hopped on Lavax and followed after the Duel Runner.

 

Drake shook his head and drove Vulcan over to Cici "As soon as you're showered up and everything, we need to talk." He stated simply before driving off after Ilana.

Cici ran in the path of Faust and grabbed the Duel Runner just before it managed to get away, alllowing her to get a ride. "Sure!" She cried back. "I'll see you there!"

AKI revved up her engines as a helmet formed around Rayos' head. "Well, mount me already!" It then dawned on AKI as to what she just said, and she scooted backwards a bit. "Umm...I mean...not in THAT way, of course!"

[Blackwing-Master]

"My, go, Draw! I summon Blizzard the far north. Now with his effect, i can select 1 Blackwing in my graveyard, and bring it back for another go. Now come! Blackwing Gale the Whirlwind!" A blue and green bird with big eyes came out. "Now i can half the attack of you monster with gale. Now, i'll activate the effect of the Vayu you sent to the graveyard, removing him and Sirocco to Summon Blackwing Armed Wing! Now, i'll go in for another summon, tuning Blizzard and Armed Wing. Combinding forces become one. Destroy the Path of Evil! Synchro Summon, go, Stardust Dragon!" A White dragon surrounded by shining light appeared. "Now Stardust, Attack. Shooting Sonic!" A huge blast of Light appeared out of the dragon's mouth, Aimed right at Mark's Monster.

Jasmine finally made it into Sattelite, but the arrow changed directions. "What?! I didn't want this to be a wild goose chase!" She sped off, hoping to run into the signer soon.

"Alright, as soon as Drake's done fixing up all of our Duel Runners, I'm having you go through your systems. I'm almost positive you've got a couple wires crossed somewhere." He said, tossing the helmet off to the side and hopping on AKI "Or else you have some fairly... interesting... things on your mind." He stated, "But, mind taking a roundabout route to Drake's, no real reason, just... haven't been in the city in a while and I want to take a look around." After a brief second, he realized that to others, it would look like he was talking to his Duel Runner "And maybe you could engage your Solid Vision hologram, so I seem slightly less insane."

 

"I activate my Field Spell, World of Balance." Mark stated "When this card is on the field, each player may only control one Monster Attribute, the same one as the first Monster they Summoned.. Because Vairon Soldier was a LIGHT-Attribute, I may only use LIGHT Monsters." He gestured to the white on his side of the field "While Sirocco was DARK, so you may only Summon DARK Monsters." He gestured again, this time to the black on James' side of the field "However, your Signer Dragon, the worthless Stardust, is a WIND Monster." Black tendrils wrapped around the Dragon and pulled it into the ground.

Activate only when each player controls one Monster or less. Both players may only Summon Monsters with the same Attribute as the first Monster they Summoned while this card was on the Field. By taking Damage equal to the ATK or DEF of a Monster of a different Attribute, a player may negate this effect for one turn and Summon the selected Monster in ATK or DEF position, respectively.

AKI did so, turning Rayos into her "rider", which made him look like Akiza Izinski with a polarized version of her helmet on. "There! Now we won't attract any attention!" Unfortunately, the crowd that had gathered around the duelists and had witnessed the duel and the brutal destruction of the Trueman. "Or not..." AKI sped off, drving along the coastal highway and through downtown to show Rayos the sights.

"I actually wanted you to have your hologram appear behind me, but this works too I guess..." Rayos said, shrugging nonchalantly, though he couldn't keep the hint of disappointment out of his voice as AKI drove him around the city.

 

Meanwhile, Drake, Ilana, and Cici arrived at Drake's house slash automotive garage "Ilana, start working on Vulcan, Cici, shower's upstairs, third door on the right. My cleaning service has still been going here weekly, so everything should work and be stocked up and everything like that." He looked around "Ilana, where're Rayos and AKI?"

 

"Out on a date probably, those two lovebirds have been separated for most of two years you know. Remember when Tara and I met up after I was broken free of the Dark Seal?" She let out a quiet purring sound "We could barely keep our...

 

"Ilana, what did I tell you about talking about stuff like that to me? She's my SISTER for god's sake." Drake said, closing his eyes "Jesus, you just like pissing me off don't you?"

 

"Of course." Ilana said, walking into the garage. Unlike Rayos, however, she managed to keep her true emotions out of her voice.

AKI understood what Rayos meant, and the feeling of the hologram clinging to his body changed to that of a pair of arms wrapped around his chest. Behind him was a cute girl that looked like Itsu, but with white highlights instead of black, and two golden eyes. Her bodysuit was strikingly similar to the orignal Akiza's riding outfit, but it covered her entire body, and seemed to be made out of a latex-like substance. Faint blue circuitry glowed on her.

"So, do you like this form? I was inspired by Itsu two years ago, and decided to have an extra avatar in her image."

 

((AKI still doesn't know that Itsu went evil.))

"I prefer your original avatar, actually." Rayos replied, turning around to get a good look at the new AKI, "Not that this one isn't... visually appealing.... It's just that your first one is more appealing to me." He placed his free hand on one of AKI's, idly noting that, despite the realism, she wasn't really there, and never would be. "AKI... I..." He started, before hesitating. He remembered that conversation he had with AKI the first day they met. Itsu, before she became a psychopath, was in love with someone else. Itsu, before she became a psychopath, was her universes version of AKI. It didn't take a long train of thought to connect those two dots.

AKI came to a complete stop, hurdling Rayos out of her. She drove up to Rayos, and her avatar got off of her body and smacked him upside the head. "You b*****d!!!" She smacked him again, and continued to smack him as she yelled at him. "Did you forget that I'm also psychic, and that I can read your f**king mind?!? Why didn't you tell me how I f**king died?!? Why didn't you tell me that I waited for you for nothing?!? WHY DIDN'T YOU F**KING TELL ME ABOUT ITSU?!?!?" She delivered a very powerful blow to Rayos' head, sending him flying.

 

((She's not going psycho, but she read your mind, and she wants info.))

((Rayos doesn't know he's in an alternate reality! Mainly because he's the alternate, the reality isn't, though he doesn't know that either, and as far as I care never will. And I know, I meant that it's solid it's just not really her.))

 

"No, actually I didn't, after my accident, or whatever happened, I haven't forgotten a single second of my life..." Rayos muttered, "And I didn't tell you because I didn't have the heart to do it. How could I tell you that Itsu went insane after you were killed? How could I tell you that she actively tried to destroy the multiverse in the name of some psychopath who's name I was never told? How could I tell you that when I can't even tell you how I feel about you?!" He stood up, dusted himself off, disheveled but in no pain and bearing no marks of any kind on his body, despite the beating he just took, and closed his Duel Gauntlet's fist "Faust." He commanded, causing the Duel Runner to flick back online from inside Drake's garage "Autopilot, engage, stealth mode, online, Duel Mode, disabled. Lock on." In the garage, Faust's original Riding Roid unfolded itself, upgraded to look like a human in leather with no skin showing. The Roid repeated everything Rayos told him "Come." He ordered, causing Faust to drive out of the garage and down the highway towards Rayos' location. "My Duel Runner's coming to pick me up. You should get back to Drake's garage." He ripped the string off his neck and tossed it over his shoulder, landing directly at AKI's feet "Here, maybe he can figure out how to fix you."

"I don't need to be fixed..." AKI replied. "Though let me ask you somthing? All of my systems are at peak operating capabilities. None of my parts are damaged, and they do not need replacing for years. Then why does my engine hurt?" AKI's avatar clutched her chest in pain. "Why does my alternator scream out in pain along my circuitboards for your gentle touch against my chassis? Why did my hydrogen fuel cells reach critical temperatures every time I that I hit you just then? Why can't I stop thinking about you every picosecond of my existence?!? Am I defective for obsessing over you?!? Am I malfunctioning?!? What's going on with me?!?" Her avatar got down on her knees as she clutched her head in pain. AKI in her Duel Runner form started to quiver and shake. "Help me...please..."

 

((Decided to make this a bit more dramatic than the Damian-AKI relationship.))

((And I'm going to bed.))

"AKI..." Rayos said sadly, kneeling down in front of her Duel Runner form and steadying her with his Duel Gauntlet "Remember the day we met? You told me that Itsu was in love with someone named Damian, and that if she was an alternate version of you, and she could feel love, then you could to?" He paused, giving her time enough to nod in agreement "You said that you had all of her memories, and thought that because of that you knew what love felt like" Again, he gave her time to respond that she heard him "Now, do you remember what I said next?" He asked her gently, placing his free hand on her avatar's shoulder and squeezing gently, once, to let her know that he was there.

AKI stood up and cleared her throat, but what she said next was a perfect replica of Rayos' voice. "AKI, you can't calculate or process or whatever your CPU does and find out what love is. The brain, or CPU in your case, has no jurisdiction with love, or any other emotion. The only way to find out what love is is to feel it for yourself, not from some alternate universe's memories. Just because you have Itsu's memories of Damian doesn't mean they have the same emotional connotation, and just because she's an alternate version of you doesn't mean you're the same. Actually, it means just that: you're not the same, you're altered from what she is." She even managed to perfectly replicate Rayos' body movements from when he was talking. She then cleared her throat again, and hugged Rayos. "I'm so sorry, Rayos. I never meant to hurt you. You're right. I can't go down the same road as Itsu, especially from what I can gleam from your mind, she became incredibly distraught over my destruction." AKI's avatar shuddered as she thought about what Itsu became. "I feel....what's the word? Remorse...for my counterpart, and I wish I knew her better outside of her memories."

The amnesiac hugged her back "I know, I feel the same way, AKI. I'm sorry too, for not telling you sooner. After you were..." He couldn't bring himself to say the word again, "I refused to give up on Itsu, hoping that she would know how to turn this CPU," He kicked gently and the bag still at AKI's avatar's feet "Into the you I knew and..." His throat seemed to stubbornly disallow him from uttering that word, so he resolved himself to holding her closer and thinking it, knowing that she could hear his thoughts anyway "AKI, I missed you so much..." He whispered.

[Blackwing-Master]

James could only watch as his dragon seperated back into the monsters used to summon it. "Fine, my Armed wing Still has enough juice to eliminate your weakened Sigma. Go!" The bird went towards the fairy (?) with it's blade aimed at it, shooting small light fragments until it came in to slice it in half. "Now Blizzard, Attack!" The brid flapped it's wings, shooting a small snow cloud at Mark. I can't get to him. I need to find a way "I end my turn with that."

The arrow finally locked on one spot, which Jasmine eventually found. Right there where Rayos and AKI. "Finally! Wait... Rayos became a signer?"

ooc:She doesn't know about AKI being the signer.

AKI's avatar placed a finger on Rayos' lips. "Shh...We can talk about this later. Don't we have a previous engagement to attend to?" Her robot inched forward, ready to resume their ride.

 

Cici stepped out of the showers, wrapped only in a fluffy white towel. Her long, black hair with intricate red designs flowed down behind her like a cape, almost reaching her feet, while the towel revealed that yes, her entire body was riddled with the ritualistic markings of a Dark Signer. Her body didn't seem as buxom and attractive as it did before, and in fact, it seemed rather frail and small. Fortunately, her incredibly long hair hid most of her body, along with her eyes. She snuck around the house, looking for her clothes, and hoping no one would spot her while she was her most vulnerable...

((She apparently doesn't know that Rayos doesn't quite fit the criteria to become a Signer either Also, I debated having Mark run Honest, but I figure that would be a really cheap way to end the Duel))

 

"I draw." Mark stated, adding one more card to his hand "Now, I Summon the Level 2 Tuner Monster Herald of Orange Light in Attack Position. Now, I set four cards face-down and end my turn." The Tail Signer showed absolutely no emotion as an orange stone wing angel wings appeared in front of him and four cards appeared at his feet "James, this is the turn when you shall finally pay for betraying my sister and I. With your defeat, I will lock you in this dimension and rejoin the Signers as their leader. No one will ever question my right, and Drake will happily give me my Dragon back." Finally, an arrogant smirk crossed his lips "Justice is served."

"Right, yeah, prior engagement..." Rayos said, hopping back on AKI's true form and giving the Avatar a hand as well, despite knowing that she wouldn't need one.

 

Faust drove up towards them, in the exact direction Jasmine's arrow was pointing, in fact, and, without having to be told a thing, altered course, heading for Jasmine instead of Rayos and AKI. "Go away." He commanded, his voice sounding like Breeze Brawler's, only louder, harsher, and more malicious sounding.

 

((For the sake of brevity, let's just say that Jasmine was in the audience during the final Rayos v. X duel so she'll recognize NK Shadow Slayer's voice))

Cici continued looking around Drake's huge mansion, but seemed unable to find her clothes. Geez! I thought I put them in the bedroom nearest the bathroom! She continued searching, but then spotted someone coming up the stairs. She hid behind a wall, hoping they wouldn't notice her.

 

AKI's avatar got back on the original's body, and all three of them sped off towards Drake's house. "So, what do you think of the city?"
