"Well, I guess AKI must have found an older residence that you were in, maybe your family home, and waited there for you, thinking that you would show up. And I figured you might not remember what happened with Paradox, so I will refresh your memory."

She placed her pointer finger on Rayos' head before he could react, and said "This might hurt."

Tons of memories of fighting with other duelists across space and time poured into his head, and he remembered.

[Blackstone Dresden]

Mark drew six cards from his Duel Disk with blinding speed and slapped one onto his Monster zone, causing a white mechanical-looking legless angel with golden arms and a golden cape to appear between James and the portal. The angelic Monster shoved James away from the portal and the world shimmered, turning pitch black around James and bright white around Mark with a visible seam in between them, the portals nowhere in sight. He wordlessly placed another Spell on the field and the angel's arm turned into a spear. The Signer-in-name-only then set both arms at his side, waiting for James.

 

"I don't have a family." Rayos said, batting Cici's hand away "And I don't know anyone by the name of Paradox, and trust me, I would remember someone with that stupid of a name, unless of course you're talking about whatever life I had before I lost my memories, in which case I'm all ears because I have absolutely no idea how anything from my prior life could make AKI come back from the dead."

"Time is a perfectionist, my friend, and will attempt to correct itself if something happens to it, but there will be...inconsistencies...no matter what the change is."

The wormhole they had been falling through finally deposited them on a city street corner. It was night, and the moon was full as the city reveled in its splendor.

"We have arrived." Cici announced as people just walked past them, with no sign of AKI anywhere...

IC:James turned around. "Jasmine, grab my d-wheel! That's all i'll need. Find the others too." He turned back to Mark. "I figured you want to duel. Draw! I summon Sirocco the Dawn! I'll set two cards and end my turn. Now talk to me, you don't need to be so silent. Explain yourself."

Jasmine heard the echo of James' voice throught the vortex. Before she knew it, she was back on Earth, Harpie Queen at her side. "Don't worry James, i'll be there soon." She hopped on her D-wheel and drove off to James' garage, hoping he left his d-wheel there.

AKI drove through downtown traffic, hoping to evade her pursuers, until she spotted a familiar face.

"Rayos?" She stopped and pulled over to find Rayos standing on the curb with some other people.

"RAYOS!!!" She cried out, transforming in front of everyone. She managed to snatch up Rayos and hug him tightly against her leather bosom while the crowd simply stepped away from the 7-foot-tall cyborg and her boy toy.

"I knew you would return! I just knew it deep down in my heart! Or whatever I have in my chest cavity that has replaced it. I felt something in my hydraulics last week. Was that you?"

[Blackstone Dresden]

"If we're here, then where's AKI?" Rayos asked Cici, "And stop blabbering on about time. I just want AKI. Now, one more time, where is she?!" His glowing purple left arm resolved itself into a dark sphere of energy around his fist and the DARK-Attribute symbols that his pupils turned into flashed again. At about that time, AKI swept him up in a hug "AKI?" He asked, his eyes turning back to their normal orange color, the glow on his arm abruptly going out. He hugged the seven-foot tall robot back "How... When... Why... Who cares? You're alive."

 

((Vairon Soldier))

 

Mark silently drew and placed another Monster on his field, this one a mechanical white cube with arms and a single leg. "Vairon Soldier, destroy Sirocco." He said, his voice emotionless and dead. The mechanical angel rammed the bird through with his sword arm "Vairon Cube." He said again as the Tuner Monster slammed headlong into James' ribcage. He set one card face-down and relaxed again.

"Did he ever mention to you that AKI was a giant pink robot?" Drake asked, looking at the two of them.

 

"Nope" She said, picking her jaw up off the ground "You?"

 

"Uh uh. You'd think that'd be something that would come up in conversation once in a while..."

AKI realized she might be doing superficial damage to the object of her affection, so she put Rayos down. "I found the house your parents lived in, so I took up residence there, and waited for you, hoping that you would come by, but you never did. I kept everything nice and tidy, though, and I even have your favorite foods in the fridge! Just be warned, I turned an old gym room that your father had into my personal workshop so I could modify myself. You can have your parents' room, and you wouldn't believe how adorable your nursery is! It's just so CUTE!!!" AKI actually squealed when she said "cute". She then remembered something and showed Rayos her right arm, which had a claw-shaped mark on it. "I was tuning up the reflex servos in my right arm a couple days ago when this mark started glowing on my right arm, and my deck changed into this 'Dragosity' deck or something, and I got this really cool Synchro Monster called 'Stride Drageon'. At least, I think that's what it's called. Anyways, could you help me avoid these creepy Men In Black guys that want to kill me? Thanks!"

Sirocco went down with a scream. "No, i won't let you, Ghibli the hot wind, go! When you attack directly, i can special summon him from my hand. I choose in defense position." A four winged bird appeared on the field, protecting James from the Cubes attack. "Now are you done?"

Jasmine had made it to the garage. "Ok, d-wheel, d-wheel..." She turned around and saw it, pitch black with red flames, with wings much like Crows. "OK, i'll send it in." She placed the card down, and watched as a vortex opened. She pushed the D-wheel in. "OK, now to find the other signers." She hopped back on her d-wheel and drove off.

As to answer AKI's question, several black sedans puleld up with guys that looked like stereotypical shadowy government officials.

"Mister Rayos..." One of them stepped forward. "I am Agent Trueman of the Patent Office, Division Six." He whipped out a badge. "Someone who I am not authorized to disclose in your presence has come to claim every single AKI Unit in the city, including Unit 24-18-7 here, and we need to take her with us so that the original owners can collect her. Do I make myself clear?"

[Blackstone Dresden]

"AKI..." Rayos said gently "I've never been in this house in my entire life." He shook his head and pulled out the bag on a string around his neck "I think maybe you dropped this." He said, opening the drawstring on the bag and dumping a silver shimmering trapezoidal prism into the palm of his hand "Here, it looks like you're having some linguistic and memory issues, try plugging this thing back in?" He said, offering it to AKI "And maybe, just maybe, you could drop down about a foot in height so you're not towering above the crowd and scaring the living Hell outta them." And again, as soon as he stopped talking, Trueman showed up "Yes, you make yourself perfectly clear. However, I have a counteroffer. You leave and tell your boss who's name I'm not allowed to know that AKI Unit 24-18-7 has been completely incinerated by a third party that is of no consequence to him, and in return for telling your boss that blatant lie, I'm not going to rip you to shreds with my little friend here." He stated, rotating his mechanical hand 3600° and clenching his fist, his eyes changing from LIGHT-Attribute to FIRE-Attribute, his left hand erupting in a blaze.

 

Mark just stood there, relaxed, hands at his sides, his face betraying absolutely nothing, to the point where he may very well have fallen asleep on his feet.

[The Dragon Duelist]

The sound of a chopper echoed through a series of streets and alleyways as a young man approached what seemed like a hospital. He pulled his helmet off running into the building with great haste. He called out at some people. "Where is she?!" He had an upset look to his face as a doctor walked up to him. "Sir... who are you looking for?" The younger man looked up yelling. "My baby sister! Where is she?!" The doctor looked away not able to tell him the grim news. Tears began to form in his eyes as he fell to his knees. "No..." A pretty short young nurse placed a hand on his shoulder explaining to him that his sister was in a coma indused state. The young man looked up at her. "W...Will she be okay?" The nursed shruged explaining that they would not know of her fate until later. He stood up whiping the tears from his eyes grabbing his right forearm. "Ah!" He fell to his knees again as a sharp pain began to envelope him.

"I'm afraid that is out of the question, Mister Rayos..." Agent Trueman started as he and his colleagues shifted into shadowy figures before reconfiguring themselves as creepy men with spiky black and orange outfits. "We require that Unit 24-18-7 be handed over to our custody immediately." The lead Trueman generated a Duel Disk, and stepped forward to duel Rayos, when Cici intervened. "Tsk, tsk, tsk. I should've known. Truemans, creatures of darkness that are only able to imitate, not innovate; copy, not create. How about a little wager? If two of you can defeat Rayos and myself, AKI is yours. However, if we win, I get to have some fun with you all. Deal?"

The lead Trueman hesitated before smirking and beckoning another Trueman forward. "Deal."

IC:James heard this d-wheel fall out of the vortex. "Draw! I special summon Blackwing Gale the Whirlwind. Now, with his effect i can half the attack of one of your monsters. Half Varion Solider. Now, I activate the effect of Ghibli. I can switch his attack and defense for the turn. I'll switch in to attack position too. Ghibli, Attack Solider, Gale Attack Cube!" Both bird danced around each other til spliting apart to strike there target.

"There must be a way to know who is and isn't a signer." She pulled out the card. "Wonder what it looks like projected with the duel disk." She placed it down. In front of her D-wheel, appeared an Arrow, pointing in the same dirrection. "A sign to a Signer?" She followed the arrow.

[Blackstone Dresden]

"Urgent Tuning." Mark stated, as his two Vairons merged into one "The herald of heaven arrives on Earth. Cast judgment on this forsaken realm. Synchro Summon! Shining destruction, Vairon Sigma!" The giant mechanical angel landed in front of Mark and shot a burst of light out of its hand at Ghibli, destroying it on impact. "Now, Vairon Material's effect activates, allowing me to add one Vairon Spell Card to my hand." A card shot into his hand "Vairon Judgment's effect activates, equipping itself to Sigma." Sigma's arm was replaced with a large ornate blade.

IC:"Ghibli is staying right here!" I activate the effect of Jet the Blue Sky!" A red headed robin swooped in a protected Ghibli from destruction. "Now, i'll set one more card and end my turn.

When Jasmine finally came to a hault, she came to a hospital. "There must be a signer in there." She hopped of her d-wheel and unhooked her duel disk. She ran into the building, noticing the near by chopper. Once in, she saw a boy crying in front of a nurse. Signer? The card was still on the duel disk and aimed at the kid. "Must be, but now doesn't look like a good time to catch with him. Should i go for now?" Her duel disk all of a sudden turned off, spitting the card back at her. "Odd." She sat down in a waiting room chair, hoping the kid would calm down soon.

[Blackstone Dresden]

"Draw." Mark stated, "Now, Vairon Sigma, destroy Gale." As he called, Sigma's original arm mutated into Vairon Material "And, Sigma's effect allows me to equip him with any Equip Spell Card from my Deck, so my Vairon Material returns." The giant Fairy shot forward and stabbed through Gale the Hurricane.

"Yeah, sure, I'll bite." Rayos said, Duel Gauntlet spinning and locking into place. Six cards shot into his wrist dealer "I Summon Elemental Knight! Now, Double Summon allows me to Summon Spirit of Nature and equip him to my Knight." The white armored knight was soon joined by a six winged bird that landed on his shoulder. "Now, I Activate Fusion Sword Murasame Blade and end my turn."

The first Trueman drew his card, and placed a Trap Card face-down, then ended his turn.

 

"I draw." Cici declared. "And I play Terraforming, allowing me to retrieve Magical Citadel of Endymion, which I will now play."

A huge castle with towers and various magical spells floating in the air like a shield materialized around the four duelists. (MBC: 0 SC)

"Next I will Normal Summon Mythical Beast Cerberus in Attack Mode."

A large blue beast with mage's armor rushed onto Cicis field, and roared at the Truemans. (1400 ATK) (MBC: 0 SC)

"Now I play Recycle, which allows me to play 300 Life Points to place a card on the bottom of my Deck."

A glowing purple gemstone was creatd out of the activation of Recycle, and it floated up to a tower, where it set into a slot on the structure. (MCoE: 1 SC) Furthermore, a similar gemstone inset itself into Cerberus' armor. (MBC: 1 SC) (1400 ATK -> 1900 ATK)

"Next I will activate Mana Power Grasp, allowing me to place 1 Spell Counter on a card that I control, and I choose my Citadel."

Two more gemstones appeared, and floated up into the city. (MCoE: 3 SC) Another gemstone appeared on Cerberus' armor. (MBC: 2 SC) (1900 ATK -> 2400 ATK)

"Now I activate the effect of my Recycle, adding Mana Power Grasp back to the bottom of my Deck for 300 Life Points." (Cici: 3700 LP)

"I set a card, then I end my turn."

 

The second Trueman did exactly the same thing as the first.

"I draw." Rayos stated as another card shot directly into his Wrist Dealer. He briefly appraised his hand, moving a couple of cards around while he did, and finally selected one "I activate Spirit of Nature's effect, changing Elem into a WIND-Attribute. Now, I play the Spell Card Armor Change, upgrading my Elemental Knight to Nature Knight - Breeze Brawler!" The Murasame Blade and Spirit vanished completely as Elem was changed first to have emerald green armor, and then into an Warrior with an eagle motif, including clawed feet, gigantic metal wings, and a beaked helmet. He clapped his hands and Rayos vanished, replaced by a long sword.

 

"Now." The Knight began, his voice a whisper, "I Activate my own effect, discarding one card to add two copies of the same card to my hand." He grabbed the sword and tossed a Cyclone Wing into the air, slicing it in half and causing it to reform into two separate cards. "Now, I activate my Cyclone Wings." He pointed at the first Trueman with the blade as four large turbines appeared on his back "Now, since you're the one that threatened AKI, I'm gonna slice you in half."

"This Trap prevents you from destroying my leader's Trap Card, allowing him to activate it!"

"Activate Trap Card!" The first Trueman continued as he took a huge slash from Breeze Brawler. (Trueman #1: 1400 LP) "Damage Condenser!"

A large machine absorbed part of the blast and started to overload.

"Now I can send Skull Flames to my Graveyard to Special Summon Barrel Dragon!"

A huge, imposing robot dinosaur with laser cannons attached to its body appeared on Trueman #1's field. (2600 ATK)

"Do you end your turn, Mister Rayos?"

"Do you have something against Gale? Ghibli would have dealt More damage, but you choose Gale instead. Well, i won't let it happen, Icarus Attack. By tributing Ghibli, i can destroy Varion Sigma and your face-down before Sigma gets a chance to attack Gale." James watched as the bird was engulfed in lightening and destroyed also destroying Sigma and the face-down. "my Gale is safe. Do you end?"

Jasmine sat there, watching the kid cry over who knows what. She got up and went to the kid. "Look, i need to ask you something, do you have a red mark on your arm and a Dragon Synchro Monster?" She stared at him angrily, as if sick of hereing him cry over what ever, and wanted to get this done.

[Blackstone Dresden]

Breeze Brawler scoffed "That's it?" He asked, stabbing his sword into the ground "I set one card face down and end my turn." He stated, a small tornado swirling around him as he spoke.

 

"Wasn't the last time this happened when Rayos dueled X?" Ilana asked Drake, taking a couple long steps towards her Duel Runner.

 

"Yep..." Drake agreed, slowly backing away from the Duelists.

 

"And didn't that end with at least one dead person and a few hundred thousand dollars worth of property damage, caused by that kid himself?"

 

"Yeah, that's about how I remember it too."

 

"So long as we're on the same page here."

 

"I Activate my face-down, Angel Blast." Mark said as he grew giant glowing white wings that were large enough to wrap around Vairon Sigma and shielding it from the blast "That's why." He stated simply "I wanted you to waste your face-down on saving your worthless little pigeon so that when I get to your Synchro Monsters, you'll be wide open."

The first Trueman drew his card.

"I activate the effect of my Supersonic Skull Flame, allowing me to remove Skull Flame from play to Special Summon Supersonic Skull Flame from my hand!"

A whinnying sound bellowed out from the other side of the street as a centaur version of Skull Flame charged in. (2600 ATK)

"Next I activate Second Coin Toss, allowing me to retoss a coin flip that I dislike once per turn!"

"Now I activate my Barrel Dragon's effect, and I will toss 3 coins. If at least 2 of them are heads, your Breeze Brawler goes bye-bye!"

Barrel Dragon powered up its barrels as it got ready to fire. Trueman flipped the coins, only for 1 of them to become heads. Barrel Dragon then shut down.

"Dammit! I activate my Second Coin Toss' effect, allowing me to try again!"

Barrel Dragon tried again, only for none of the coins to result in heads. Trueman started swearing like a sailor at this point.

 

((Any response?))

[Blackwing-Master]

"Fine." He watched as his Gale fleww into pieces. "Now Are you done yet or do you want to try something else?"

ooc:I'm going to guess your done.

"Draw!" He frowned as he looked at his card. "I summon BW Vayu the Emblem of Honor in defense. I'll end with that."

Jasmine became even angrier with no reply from the boy. "Fine!" She tightened her fists. "If you want to contact me, go here." She handed her a piece of paper. "I'll be there for a while, but just for the rest of the day, then i won't be able to contact you." She walked by the door, about ready to leave. "I hope you do contact me." She turned around and walked out

[Blackstone Dresden]

"That was... kinda lame, not gonna lie." Breeze Brawler said, shaking his head in annoyance. "Cici, please destroy the second Trueman so that Master Rayos can get out of my body."

 

"I Draw and play Life's Charity, Death's Curse." Mark said "When I activate this card I flip a coin, represented here by this sphere." He held up his hand and a ball appeared in his hand, black on top, white on the bottom "If it lands white side up, you select whether Sigma is destroyed and replaced with a Level 8 Monster or Vayu gets destroyed, but if it lands black side up, I select whether Vayu is replaced by a Level 2 Monster or Sigma is replaced by a Level 6." He tossed the sphere into the air and it landed on the ground, black side up.

 

((If no response...))

 

"Now, I sacrifice Vayu and upgrade him to Level 2." Mark stated as the now pitch black sphere shot straight into Vayu. Perfect, now, as soon as I destroy his new Monster, he'll use Vayu, Sirocco, and the new Monster to Summon his precious Signer Dragon.

The first Trueman grinned. "But I'm not done! I play Trade-In, allowing me to discard Felgrand Dragon from my hand to draw 2 more cards!" He discarded the card, then drew 2 more. "Now I Normal Summon The Dark - Hex-Sealed Fusion!"

A gruesome creature made out of various parts took the field. (1000 ATK)

"Now I can Tribute this monster and my Barrel Dragon to Special Summon Gatling Dragon from my Extra Deck!"

The blob attached onto Barrel Dragon, and a purple ooze spread all over the creature, causing it to change shape. Eventually, the purple slime receeded, leaving a very different monster it its wake. (2600 ATK)

"Now I activate my Gatling Dragon's effect, flipping coins, and destroying cards based on the heads!"

Gatling Dragon powered up its cannons as Truemna flipped his coins.

"Ha! Two heads! Gatling Dragon, destroy Breeze Brawler and the Citadel!"

The central cannon misfired, but the other two sent a hail of lasers at their targets. Breeze Brawler was shredded into bits while the Citadel remained intact thanks to a magical shield.

"My Citadel can be protected from destruction at the cost of a Spell Counter, bt you both have activated so many Spells, that the price is not too great." Cici explained s a gemstone was destroyed. (SC: 7)

"No matter! Gatling Dragon, Supersonic Skull Flame, attack Rayos directly!"
