"I draw." James looked at the cad he drew, noticing his signer mark glowing. "I summon Brise the Savior. He allows me to summon a tuner from my grave and negate it's effects. I summon Vayu from my graveyard. Now I'll tune Vayu with Brise. Shadows of feathers collide, form the wings of the phoinex. Synchro Summon, go Blackwing - Cyclone. Now I play Speed Spell Ghost Summoner. Now I can bring back Stardust Dragon for the turn. Now..." James heard a faint voice in his head. Clear Mind... "I tune Stardust and Cyclone. Forces of light and darkness collide, become the truth of life. Accel Synchro Summon!" James disappeared in a flash of rainbow light and reappeared moments later with a dragon beside him. "Shooting Star Dragon. Now I activate his effect, I pick up five cards, for every tuner my dragon can attack. Draw! Breeze, a tuner. Draw! Bora. Draw! Sirrocco. Draw! Blizzard! And finally, Draw!" He looked at his card. "Ha... Blackwing Gale the Whirlwind!" Shooting Star split into three dragons of different colors. "Now my cards return to my deck and my dragon can attack you three times. Attack his Genus." One dragon sliced through his Tech Genus. "Now the other two, finish him!" The two other dragons dived right towards X, depleting his life points. "I win, now tell me, what are you and Rayos!?"

The impact of the three attacks knocked X's Duel Runner out from under his feet,"Congratulations, Signer." X said as the smoke cleared, dusting himself off "You managed to defeat my Tech Genus Monsters." Dark Grepher and Dai Grepher appeared behind them, their swords both bloodless, showing that Aki and Michi were, as per the agreement, alive. "I'm a villain of my word, so, as promised, you're finally going to know the truth about my brother and I. Rayos and I are neither human nor Spirit. We are, instead, the first hybrid of the two, born of a human mother and a Spirit father." He smirked at James' reaction, "Our father was partnered with a young human girl that first recieved his card at age thirteen. Over the next four years, he and the girl bonded, with our father taking on the role of her protector and guardian, as all Spirit Partners do. However, the relationship started to evolve. They fell in love, despite the Laws of the Spirit World forbidding such an event after the Yubel incident. Father ignored those laws, however, and because of that, two immortals, born of flesh and Spirit, were created into this world. They did their best to hide us, however, the Gods see all and our father was ripped in two. Rayos, always the optimistic fool, begged and pleaded for them to bring him back. I, myself, however, took up my Deck and challenged the Gods themselves to a Duel. Naturally, they destroyed me but the Sacred Beasts lessoned the punishment. They gave Rayos the choice: he could either both myself and Father die, or, he could accept us into his soul. However, they warned, the strain and agony of that course of action would be unbearable and, if he should survive, would surely drive him insane. Again, the optimistic fool took us into his soul, starting with myself, locked into the darkest recesses of his subconscious for all eternity." Genuine sorrow touched his features, "The screams from the young boy of fifteen, silenced only after his vocal cords were ripped to shreds, could have made even the Archfiends themselves weap. He endured, however, and the Gods forced our father into his soul as well. However, because of his undying love for Rayos, lodged himself in my brother's conscious mind and gave up his voice to save his son's and gave up his freedom to save his mind. Our father forced himself into an eternity of servitude for that punk." X was now crying, proving that his words were true, "But that wasn't enough for those sick sadists. Despite the Sacred Beasts pleas, the Wicked Gods coerced Obelisk into preventing Rayos from offending the Spirit World by using the forms of their subjects again. To prevent Rayos from Dueling, Obelisk himself chopped off the boy's left arm, so that he may neither draw nor hold a card again. And again, our father, out of his love for his son, gave up his own arm." He held up his own handless Duel Gauntlet, "Our father gave so much for Rayos, for the pathetic child that stood by as he died. I fought and died trying to avenge him, but it was Rayos that he saved, not me." He had to pause for almost a minute to compose himself, "That's what Rayos and I are, and that's why I allied myself with evil incarnate. Bryce is a means to an end. He's more powerful than I will ever become, and, through his power, I will kill the Egyptian and Wicked Gods for what they did. Even if, after the fight, the only one left alive in all of the multiverse is Rayos, Father will be avenged!" He barely managed to finish his sentence before he collapsed to his hand and knees, shaking so much that he didn't notice when his Duel Gauntlet turned into a streamlined Duel Arm, nearly identical to Rayos', but without the Wings Mark. In addition, while Rayos' claws and decorations could be described as draconian, the claws and general appearance of X's Duel Arm could only be called demonic. Rayos had the arm of a savior, X had the arm of a murderer.

James got off his D-Wheel and walked to X, unsure what to say. "Spirit... and human?" James looked at X's gauntlet. Can I honestly believe him? What if this story is a bunch of bull to get me to help him against Rayos. I... I can't decide. James went back to his D-Wheel, staring at the only card left on his duel disk, Shooting Star Dragon. The Crimson Dragon picked Rayos for a reason. James turned back to X, still unsure of the story he had just heard.

Jasmine yelled for James. "Get down here! We've got an injured solider here!" She looked to Drake, wishing she could help more, but she already did what she could do.l

[Blackstone Dresden]

"There's a reason I never beat Rayos." X said, "I didn't want to. How could I? Our father, and my true self, are still locked inside his subconscious. If I destroy him, I'm killing all three of us. That's why my life doesn't matter. I'm expendable, just a copy. Every time someone delves into Rayos's mind, another copy is born. Signer... James, I'm not asking you to kill Rayos, or to let me kill Rayos, I'm asking... No, I'm telling you." He stood back up and composed himself, "After this business with the Power of Chaos is resolved, leave the Spirit World and never return. I may have died the last time I dueled the Gods, but I won't fail now." He held his metal wrist and a malicious smile crossed his features, "I'm going to kill the Gods. If I have to kill you too, so be it." And with that, the hybrid disappeared, leaving a single blank Effect Monster card in James' hand.

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

Itsu finally sighed and grapsed her amulet. "Good luck, Rayos, Aki, and Cici." She whispered as she disappeared.

 

Aki awoke to find Michi hovering over her.

"Ugh...where are we?"

"Still in the Wasteland, though far, far away from Lucius and Grepher."

"You know, some people can be real pricks about a children's card game!" Aki started ranting. "I mean, why threaten someone for playing the game the way it was supposed to be played?!? That just doesn't make any sense to me!!!"

Michi poked Aki on the shoulder and pointed to a dust cloud approaching on the horizon.

"Quick, hold out your thumb! Maybe we can get a ride with this guy!"

Aki and Michi both assumed the standard hitchiking position, waiting for the rider to get closer.

[Blackwing-Master]

James looked to the card, then into the sky. "I... can't promise that. I'm a signer, if this world needs me, I will come back, but I won't get in your way." He turned down to Jasmine. "Drake isn't feeling better I'm guessing?"

"I think hes in more pain now." Jasmine looked to Drake.

"I think I know where to take him." James hopped on his d-wheel and drove down to Drake and Jasmine. "Just follow me." James drove, then stopped, looking to Cici and Eli. "If you want to come along, you can. We could use your powers in the battle against Power of Chaos." James started again, being followed by Jasmine.

[Blackstone Dresden]

Rayos sighed as he sped down the only road in the Spirit World, Faust's engines revving faster than possible in the human world. The sole surviving hybrid blew past Aki and Michi before realizing who they were, "Wait a second..." He said, doubling back and parking in front of Aki and her friend, "I don't think Faust has enough room for all three of us, so one of you two is going to have to wait here."

 

((Until TFF gets back, I have her permission to control her characters and Melvin. However, for the sake of brevity, Melvin and Bryce will be doing some behind the scenes evil and Rayos, Aki, and Michi will be offscreen until they reunite with James, Drake, Jasmine, Eli, and Cici))

 

"@#$%ing Spirit World..." Drake muttered, "I think I cracked a couple ribs when I dueled that @#$%& Yubel... Just lucky Red-Eyes didn't give me a third degree burn." He pressed a couple buttons on Vulcan's dashboard and a beam of light locked onto James' Duel Runner. "I'll follow you, just get me to Neos's realm. Yubel's gonna pay."

[The Dragon Duelist]

Eli looked down at James and smiled lightly. "I am in.." He looked at CiCi and nodded as he began to follow James. "With All of us together the Power of Chaos will not survive." All of his marks began to glow brightly as he jumped onto a chopper like Duel Runner. He put his helmet on and reved the engine up. "Let's go." His voice was calm and collect right now. He pulled his deck out and slid it into it's slot. He then starts to spin out on his Runner.

[Blackstone Dresden]

"Eli," Cici said, shaking her head, "I won't be able to help you, and, with Drake's current status, Jasmine's lack of Signer powers, the Left Claw Signer's lack of appearance, and Rayos and Aki's sudden disappearance, it's just going to be you and James against every single Neos." The Dark Signer sighed and shook her head, "It's not looking good for you. There are a dozen Neos Fusions and you're going to have to take on at least half of them on your own. Six consecutive Duels in the Spirit World, where every Life Point lost is a piece of your soul." She placed her hand on his shoulder and pulled him into a hug, eyes watering, "I'm so sorry..."

James looked back at Eli, giving him a thumbs up, then turned to Drake. "Right now I was thinking more along the lines of taking you to some spellcasters for them to treat you before getting revenge. I heard that Endymon was drain, weak, but there's somewhere else we can find spellcasters." James drove as fast as he could. They finally reached there destination. "Welcome to the secret village of the spellcasters." He noticed two appentice magicians and walked over to them. "Excuse me, but I have an injured friend here, do you mind taking care of him for a bit?"

The two magicians looked at eachother, then back to James. "Ok, but you'll need to carry him where we tell you to take him, and you and your uningured friends will need to work around the village as payment."

"I'm ok with it, I'll work for all of them." James went back to his d-wheel, and started it up, driving it beside a small hut. "They'll take care of you til you feel better, just rest."

[The Dragon Duelist]

Eli smiled back at CiCi and hugged her giving her a thumbs up as he walked towards his dyek runner. "Don't worry... when me and James get back... I can take you to meet my baby sister." Eli jumped and landed on his chopper smiling warmly to her. "I will see you later... Mom.." He smiled then after a moment he took off after James. "Alright let's do this!" He placed all of his Signer Dragon variations on his duel disk as he speed down the path. He stopped behind James looking at him. "James can we talk for a moment?"

James carried Drake into the hut, noticing an injection fairy lily. He walked out before she turned around. He turned to Eli. "Sure Eli. Something on your mind?"

Jasmine had just then made it to the secret village of spellcasters. "Finally. Could have waited for me!" No one answered. SHe sat down my a tree and pulled out her decks, looking from the Harpie Ladies to the X-Sabers. I won't go back on my world. I will avenge the X-Saber. She closed her eyes, as the Rescue Cat she rescued from the road appeared beside her.

[Blackstone Dresden]

"Killing the Power of Chaos is more important right now." Drake told James, shoving away the Spirits surrounding him, "After we get back, I'll worry about fixing whatever's busted." The Red-Eyes Duelist said, trying not to wince at every movement, "We don't have that much longer before the end of pretty much all existance. That's more important than my well being." He told James, strapping his Duel Disk back onto his wrist, biting his lip as he did so.

 

Red-Eyes Wyvern swooped down and landed next to Jasmine and Rescue Cat, dangling his tail in front of the latter and flicking it sideways, trying to get the Spirit to try and catch it.

[The Dragon Duelist]

He got off his duel runner and looked at James. "If it is just you and me dueling all of the Neos fusions then leave Wiseman and all the stronger ones to me." He placed his right hand on James's shoulder. "I have a strong spirit... and I am connected to the Ultimate Signer so I can handle more. Besides.. the other's will need you." He smiled lightly. "Trust me please... I have all my Dragon's on my side." He turned back and headed towards his duel runner.

[Blackwing-Master]

James looked to Drake, then to Eli, then back to Drake. "Drake, you're able to bare the pain at least?" James then turned back to Eli. "I don't mind if you want to take on the stronger,"

Jasmine turned to Eli and James. "But Drake has a score to settle with Wiseman, seeing as how s/he's the reason he so beat up and weak at the moment."

"I was going to say, We need to split the Neos' evenly, plus we have Jasmine and Drake on our side to help out. Don't worry, I'll, no, we'll be there, side by side, because the Crimson Dragon chose us for a reason." He got on his D-wheel. "And I'm pretty sure both Yusei AND Crow are stronger than Jack." James smiled, as if to say 'I'm just pulling your chain.' "Ok, Drake, as long as you can witstand the pain, let's go." He turned to the magicians. "Thanks anyways." He started to drive away slowey, giving the others a chance to catch up.

Jasmine picked Rescue Cat up, ignoring the dragon, got on her D-Wheel, and drove off.

[The Dragon Duelist]

Eli slid onto his duel runner taking off past James. "How about we see which of us is the better Turbo Duelist?" He looked to James and held his deck up and slid it into it's slot. "Come on.. it will give us good practice time." He sped off past him as he waited for him to say yess of no. His eyes were determined to win regardless if he won or lost this time.

[Blackwing-Master]

"In a normal situation, I would agree to it, but we're running out of time. Soon, Neos may be lost inside Power of Chaos' current form, for good, with no hope of escape. Trust me, if this would was not about to be destroyed or controled a giant blob that transforms into the dead, yes, I would duel you, but right now is not the time to have a 'fun' card game on motocycles, but after this ends, sure, I'll take you on then." James flew past Eli, tempted to activate the wings on his d-wheel and literally fly past him, but resisted the urge.

[Blackstone Dresden]

Drake shot out past James on Vulcan, purely to show off, and then matched speed so that they were driving next to each other, "If it means giving that miserable little @#$%& a taste of Red-Eyes' Inferno Fire Blast again, I can take it. Hell, you could lop off one of my arms and it wouldn't stop me from finishing what I started." He flicked a single card onto his Duel Runner and Red-Eyes Black Chick appeared in front of them, "There's a reason I didn't just kill her then and there." He explained to them, "We have no idea where Neos even is, aside from 'this way a few miles'. Chick, however, is there right now, aren't you?" He asked, to which the baby Dragon happily nodded, "I slipped his card into her Deck before she vanished, I doubt she'll notice until our rematch."

[Blackwing-Master]

James closed his eyes and smiled, reopening them after hearing what Drake said. "Nice, leaving a 'tracking device' of sorts. This will only make it easier to find them. Smart thinking there Drake." He turned away, looking behind to see if Jasmine was still behind them, which she was.

Jasmine finally caught up. "Heck, I didn't even know you did, and I was there watching the entire thing. Very sneaky of you Drake."

[Blackstone Dresden]

"It was the last thing I did before I blacked out." Drake told her, "I figured that she wouldn't exactly be paying attention after we both got blasted by my Red-Eyes." Drake told her, "I had his card tucked into my sleeve for more or less this purpose, actually. I figured that after we sent Neos a message, it would be rude of me not to leave a calling card. You know, a little reminder that a kicked their royal asses." He smirked, "And, I didn't even kill any of them." He told Jasmine, before muttering under his breath, "Unfortunately...", though he hid it with a smile that showed that he was in a good mood, or joking, depending on whether or not Jasmine overheard him.

ooc:sorry everyone, I was unable to get to a computer this week.

IC:"I should have figured you would do something like that." She looked back to make sure Rescue cat had not fallen off. "So whats the plan? Or do we even have one?"

"Well, I figure Rainbow Neos has the place heavily guarded by other Neos'. We can divide them evenly among us, Drake , of course getting Yubel, and the rest evenly among me and Eli, some of them to you, Jasmine, and Drake, if he can move after his duel with Yubel."

[Blackstone Dresden]

Drake shook his head and Chick started chattering in cute sounding draconian roars, "Chick says that Yubel, Neos Knight, and Rainbow Neos are holed up in their war room, with the other nine Neos Fusions guarding them. We're going to have to get through them to get to Rainbow." He shrugged his wounded shoulder and winced, "It's gonna hurt like Hell and I'm probably going to need an almost suicidal amount of painkillers when I'm done, but I'll manage." He shrugged again and let out another pained wince, "God, anyone got a WATER Monster that they can send out?" He asked, "I need something cold to numb my arm so I can actually draw when we get to the castle."

[Blackwing-Master]

"Well, that's gonna be a problem. You see, we have little time as it is, and each duel will take, at least, 30 minutes. I don't think we have enough time to get through them all and beat Rainbow Neos before he decides to pull the plug. As for water monster, I've got nothing. Blackwings and Dragunities don't have any water counterparts, and I left my spares at home." James started thinking about Mark again, seeing as his Ice Barriers would have been perfect right now.

"I've got nothing right now either. Sorry."

[Blackstone Dresden]

"Then we go in alone." Drake said, typing on his dashboard and manually overriding James, Jasmine, and Eli's screens, replacing them with a map of an elaborate system of rooms, "You see, Knight, Yubel, and Rainbow himself are sequestered here." A large rectangular room at the top of the map highlighted itself in red and three symbols, a sword, an eye, and a black cloud appeared in a circle in the middle of the room, "The only way in is through this corridor," The highlight around the room moved down to highlight three short hallways that merged into one long hall, "The only way to open this door is with three keys, each held by one of the Triple Contact Neoses, which are holed up in these three rooms." Three question marks appeared on the screen and slid down, one locking in each of the smaller rooms attached to the hallway, "Unfortunately, Chick didn't see who got what key, so I can't say for certain who's in what room." The highlight around the hall flowed down and highlighted the three new rooms, "And, of course, these three Neoses are in turn guarded by two more Neoses." The final six rooms at the bottom of the screen were highlighted as he spoke, "Now, here's how it's gonna play out: the four of us, obviously, are going to take out these four Neoses," A flame, katana, wing, and dragon's claw slid into the first four rooms on the bottom level and a timer reading 00:30 appeared at the bottom left of their dashboards, "Then, the two fastest Duelists will take out the remainders," A 1 and a 2 popped up in the remaining two rooms and the counter accelerated to 01:00, "Then, Eli, James, you two will be taking the rightmost and center Triple Contact Neoses. Jasmine, you and I will go for the one on the left." The four symbols each moved into the three rooms accordingly and the timer jumped up to 01:30, "After that, it's just a simple matter of defeating the last three Neoses." The flame, wing, and claw marks slid over the eye, cloud, and broadsword marks, respectively, and blinked them out just as the timer jumped to 02:00, "Account for walking time and a five percent margin of error..." The timer jumped up another twenty two minutes "Two and a half hours until we save the world." Drake said as they pulled up to the edge of the forest. Ahead of them, the Evil Heroes and Destiny Heroes were forming a perimeter around the castle, though all eyes were fixed on the four humans, "Oh come on..." Drake muttered, dismounting his Duel Runner. The timer on their Duel Runners read simply ??:??.

James looked at the screan as there plan unfolded. "My guess Rainbow's in the center so I'll go that way." James looked to see the army of d and evil heros ahead. "Catch up when you can, i'll create a distraction so you all can get in." James rev'd his d-wheel and ran right into the mob of "heros." He threw a card on his duel disk as a sword with a bird-shaped handle appeared in his hands. He swung it around, keeping the heros clear of his d-wheel. He activated the wings on his d-wheel, hovering right above the ground into the layer of the Neos'.

Jasmine stayed with the group, since, from the plans, she was supose to stay with Drake for the time being.

Rainbow Neos looked into an orb, seeing his army of Destiny and Evil heros as well as the four human, one flying into the building. "Fools! They never make it to me."
