Cici smiled. "Unfortunately, since you have my husband's deck, I know his entire strategy! And this type of mass-destruction card is right up his alley!" She then flipped up her face-down. "So, I happen to have a little surprise!"

Negate the effect and destroy the card. A silver shimmering barrier formed around Cici and protected her side of the field from the gale.

"This is the testament to my Iron Resolve, the Iron Resolve that all Atlases have! This Trap Card, ironically, can easily defeat your Power Strategy!"

"Cici, you have seven Earthbound Immortals, hurry up and whip one out." X called, "And, if you happen to have gotten Psychic powers in your massive relapse, tell Melvin to get his Egyptian ass back here with my soda." He sighed, "Oh, and I'd be remiss if I forgot to mention that, in case the massive influx of Spirits in your soul jarred your brain, the Earthbound Immortal incident was about 25 years ago, this kid probably can't even drink In America yet." He shook his head again, "Dammit... Why the Hell did I get stuck guarding Melvin? He never shuts up about his Steves..."

 

Rayos, meanwhile, was getting ready to beat X's face in to keep him from trying to figure out which Dark Signer to root for.

Melvin handed X some sort of drink that looked like blood mixed with Coca-Cola. "Here you go! A Steveblood Special!" He then realized what he had just done, and took back what he said. "I mean, that isn't REAL blood. It's V8. Totally V8. What other blood-like beverage do you know of that I could add as an ingredient? Yep. That's V8, alright. Especially if 'V' means 'Vein', which it doesn't. It means 'Vegetable'." He then thought for a while. "Does the 'V' is V8 mean 'Vegetable'?"

"I thought it stood for Vampires will reign down like a swarm of locusts on everyone that willingly drinks this s@#$." X said, throwing his glass over his shoulder, "But I guess that's a little wordy to put on a bottle, so they changed it to Vegetable." He slapped himself with his flesh hand, "OK, dude, I gotta ask, did you pour Everclear in everything I've drank since I've come back to life?" He shook his head, "No, I haven't had anything to drink yet... Wait, what the Hell did you do to my sphere?!"

Cici replied. "I'm dueling the b*****d offspring of my husband, and we're in a torturous Shadow Game involving tons of pain and very slow deaths as we uk it out. Why would I choose to just end it? I'm having fun locking down his deck and using my new Zombies to hurt him. And, in case you haven't noticed, my own strategy just destroyed my ability to summon my Immortals, since I can't Tribute Summon them anymore!" Cici then replied "What Sphere?"

"So you chuck them to the Graveyard and revive them, you've gotta have a couple cards like that in your Deck." X suggested, "A decent part of your opening move involved sending cards to the Graveyard and since, for some reason, you started running a Zombie deck after your rebirth, I know that you have gotta have more than a couple cards to revive your fallen soldiers in your Deck."

 

Bryce, meanwhile, was watching this unfold from a rip in the space/time continuum in his dimension, known by his pawns as Hell. He waved a hand over Eli's deck and invisibly added Earthbound Immortal Scar-Red Nova to it. He then waved his other hand over Cici's deck and gave her a card allowing their clash to happen.

Cici placed her pointer finger on her lips, as if to tell X to not let Eli know that.

 

Itsu's siren had retracted back into her head, and was now checking out her Deck, making sure everything was in order, when she found a familiar face.

"Is this you?" Itsu asked her tiny little draconic companion.

Hope nodded as Itsu tried to get up, her wounds still healing. The Earthbound Immortals had done a toll on her, and she needed some R&R. She realized as she created a portal and went to go find Rayos.

 

Meanwhile, Aki stepped in front of Michi. "You really don't know who you're messing with, do you? I'm not just a Signer, I've also got some Dark Signer in me as well, not to mention I'm a Psychic as well. You want to continue with this, because I will try my hardest to stop anything you throw at us."

[Blackstone Dresden]

Rayos, meanwhile, had gotten the hell outta there before X decided to challenge him out of boredom. He was currently on Faust, who was going at top speed down what seemed like the only paved road in all of Neo Space, though for some reason he didn't meet anyone else, which, given the fact that he didn't actually have a driver's license and wasn't too far away from breaking the sound barrier, was probably for the best.

 

Grepher sighed and snapped his fingers, causing Psychic pain to shoot through Aki's leg, "B@#$%, this is the Spirit World. Everyone's Psychic here. Hell, we even have ACTUAL PSYCHICS." As if to punctuate his point, Armored Axon Kicker swooped down from the sky riding atop Thought Ruler Archfiend. "See?"

He smirked. "I had a feeling, but this is my deck now and I changed a few cards!" He held up a spell card. "I activate Burning Hope!"

He smirked looking at her. "Jack never shown you this card, because he said that he didn't think it suited him." He laughed as he looked in his hand.

Cici responded. "Well, I guess its time for me to use one last card!"

"I discard Earthbound Linekeeper to activate her effect!"

You may discard this card from your hand to your graveyard to negate the activation of a card effect that has a face-up Field Spell Card as a target and destroy the card. This card's effect cannot be negated or chained. This monster counts as two Tributes for an "Earthbound Immortal" monster.

 

A shamanic woman with red Dark Signer robes appeared, raised her staff, and blocked the effect.

"Now what are you going to do?" Cici taunted.

 

Aki was impressed. "But still, it's only a game. There's no need for you to be so hostile towards us and threaten us for naturally responding to one of our opponent's moves. Now, it's still your move, and your monster just got destroyed by my Felgrand Dragon."

 

Itsu appeared in the distance, on Rayos' right side, and extended her arm, then held oout her hand, curled it into a fist, and extended her thumb vertically.

He smirked at her. "Thank you... now I have all I need." He looked at his hand and shuffled some cards around in it. He thought to himself quietly planning out his strategy. Alright... I have all the cards I need to do this, but I don't know if I should.... He looked at her as his dark signer mark glew as bright as his signer mark. "I play two cards face down and end my turn!"

"Now, I set 2 cards, then I play Card Hexative, preventing your face-downs from activaing. Then, I will have my Reaper attack you again!"

Reaper on the Nightmare passed through Mad Archfiend and sliced Eli across the chest again.

He did not wince this time. "I activate the spell Mystical Space Typhoon! I use this on your Card Hexative!" He smirked as his traps became useful agian. "Now I activate the trap Path of the Majestic! Now by paying half my lifepoints I can special summon my Majestic Dragon from my hand and my Red Dragon Archfiend from the grave!" Both of his dragons roared loudly looking at his opponent. "Now I summon my battle fader! Since I have all the monsters I need on the field I synchro summon Majestic Red Dragon!" He looked at Cici with the more determination then when Jack dueled her. "Go Royal Decree! Now all trap cards on the field are useless! Majestic Red Dragon Attack her Reaper! And My Mad Archfiend attacks Mezuki!"

[Blackwing-Master]

James made it to the place where Cici and Eli were dueling and noticed X, who James barely remembered from the Shadow Droid catastrophe, and Melvin, the whack job with a staff who was going to duel James before running off. Joy, one crazy guy, a Shadow Droid, a Dark Signer, and a signer in one place. James looked to Eli noticing something different about him. The Scar-Red Nova mark.

Jasmine spun around on her D-Wheel. "Drake, you ok? We better get someone to take care of you." She got off her D-Wheel and picked Drake up, setting him on the back of her D-Wheel and driving off.

Cici coughed up blood as the impact tore a huge hole threw her torso, spilling her guts all over the floor. She was still smiling maliciously, though. "That...that hurt.....a lot, in fact...so you were able...to summon one of Jack's ace monsters. You still weren't able to...fully use it." She coughed up some more blood. "That card...has a few more tricks...up its sleeves...than just being...an incredibly powerful beatstick. Jack...he knew his deck...inside and out...you're just...scratching the surface."

He smiled warmly to her. "I know that... I asked Jack when I was young about the secrets of this deck, but he said that I should learn to use these cards myself and find out their true power." He reached out to his dragon and touched it lightly as he held up his hand. "I activate the card known as Hope of the Majestic."

Hope of the Majestic:

Effect: You can select one 'Majestic' Synchro monster on your field and negate it's end phase effect by paying half your lifepoints lifepoints.

 

His life points went down further as his body became pale. "Now I can keep him for one more turn. I place one card face down and end my turn.

He smiled at her. "You know CiCi-san.. I am having fun dueling with you." He gipped his chest lightly finally showing the pain. "Jack always told me that he wanted me to meet you..." His eyes started to become pale. "I... always... said... he should have... paid more... attention to.. you..." He fell face foward slowly the pain finally getting to him.

Activate my sending 1 "Earthbound Immortal" from your Deck to your Graveyard. During the turn you activated this card, "Earthbound Immortals" are unaffected by your opponent's card effects. This card's activation and effect cannot be negated or chained.

 

"I send Wiraqocha Rasca to my Graveyard to activate this card, but now, I activate the effect of my Mezuki, which can Special Summon 1 Zombie-Type monster from my Graveyard by removing itself from play!"

Mezuki reappeared and catapulted a card up into the air. The card then turned into a massive stone heart as a series of purple flames etched themselves into the ground, forming a condor.

"Bring forth the ultimate destruction! The strongest Earthbound Immortal! Come forth, Wiraqocha Rasca!"

The heart erupted into a huge black and pink bird of prey, which was about as large as Majestic Red Dragon. (100 ATK)

"Now I activate my Wiraqocha's effect, returning my face-down card, my Unmanpower, and my Reaper to gain 1000 ATK for each card removed, and to have you discard 3 cards from your hand!"

Wiraqocha sent out a huge gust, which scattered several cards about, then it grew in size to be larger than Majestic Red Dragon. (100 ATK -> 3100 ATK)

"Good game, Eli, but now, Wiraqocha Rasca, attack his Mad Archfiend! Death Singularity!"

A huge stream of black energy erupted from Wiraqocha's mouth, and clobbered Mad Archfiend.

He smirked as a trap card flipped up. "Go... t..trap... Maj..esti...c... E..xp..losion..." He blacked out as the card took effect.

Effect: You can tribute one 'Majestic' Monster on your field and inflict 300 points of damage for each level the monster has. You take the same amount of damage at the end phase of either turn this card is activated.

 

He chuckled up some blood. "L-..Looks... lik..e... it's a tie.."

Cici collapsed from the impact as they were both thrown out of the circle of flames and hundreds of feet from each other. They were both in pretty bad shape, though it was obvious that Cici, if she was dead, would come back soon. The question was, how would Eli do?

Cici, after laying still for a few minutes, bolted awake, and started to slowly make her way to Eli. She eventually reached him, and collapsed next to him, weezing. "Kid...you...still...alive?" She coughed, still producing more blood from her mouth and proving that the average anime character had an average 47 gallons of blood, though Cici and Eli apparently had much, much more.

He laughed histerically. "That was the funnest... duel I ever played..." He looked at her. "Carley... Jack spent that time... with me.." His breathing was heavy and his body was extremely pale. "I... told him... to tell you,... but.. he said he... was to tough.." He chuckled looking at her. "Every... time he came to see me... he mentioned you..." He closed his eyes thinking back. "In... fact... he wouldn't shut... up..." He rested his head at her. "I... am sorry... for taking all... that time away from you..."

Cici inched close to Eli, and feebly wrapped her arms around him. "It's alright...I'm...I'm sorry...I called you...a bastard..." Her wounds were slowly starting to heal, so she got a crazy idea. She kissed one of the nicks Eli got from the explosion, and the blood that was left behind started to heal the wound. She then started to rub some of her blood on Eli, occasionally spitting on him to get the job done. "I know...this is pretty gross...but would you rather die?"

[Blackstone Dresden]

Lucius sighed as his sword wing ripped itself out of Michi's leg and slammed itself back in, "I activate my own Trap Jammer, negating your Trap Jammer and allowing my brother's Trap to go through."

 

Grepher nodded at his brother, "OK then, now, I set one card face-down and end my turn."

 

Rayos sighed as he saw Itsu and just blew straight passed her.

 

Drake winced as Jasmine tried yanking him off his Duel Runner, "OK, OK, I'm apparently strapped in. Thank God Rayos talked me on installing some measure of Artificial Intelligence into Vulcan and Lavax, but damn, Jasmine, I think you just dislocated a joint somewhere."

Aki activated her Trap Card as her dragon was destroyed. "I activate Bond of Dragons, allowing me to Special Summon Guard of Frembell in Defense Mode!"

A fiery dragon fluttered onto Aki's field, protecting its mistress. (2000 DEF)

 

Itsu disappeared, but then, she reappeared in front of Rayos' path of travel, just a second away from him.

 

"My turn, and I set another monster, then another Trap Card, then I end my turn."

 

"I do the same."

"I Summon Lancer Archfiend in Attack Position, set one card face-down, and end my turn."

 

"I activate Extra Fusion, fusing my brother's Thought Ruler Archfiend with my Magical Android to Fusion Summon Ultimate Psychicker." A Summoned Skull knock-off and half human cyborg appeared behind Lucius and Grepher, respectively, which then combined into a large, serpentine, Summoned Skull knock off, "Now, my brother activates his face-down Trap Stun, so, I'll have my Psychicker attack the worthless traitor's core. You're up, and I swear, if you make me repeat myself this time, I'm going to behead you both and save myself some time."

Rayos swore loudly and swerved out of the way, though, since he was moving damn near the speed of sound when he did so, he immediately lost control of Faust and fell to the ground, flying off into a tree, where something audibly broke, while Faust's Ghost deployed, though by that time it was rotating lengthwise over the ground, each time it hit taking off a bit Faust's body, first its head, then its chest, then the Duel Runner itself slammed into another tree and snapped in half.

Itsu rewound time around the Duel Runner, causing the devestating crash to reverse itself, and then levitated Faust in the air using her telekinesis until its momentum decreased to nothing, at which time she set the Duel Runner down. She then went over to Rayos, and asked "Are you alright? Is anything broken or fractured?"

 

Cici continued to heal Eli, though she was becoming very tired in doing so.
