Yugioh:Fusion of Worlds:Shadow of the Spirit World [Started/Not Accepting][PG-16]

"You're fighting unarmed?" Shadow asked, flicking one card from his hand to his Spell and Trap zone, causing the ground to shoot up beneath the Nature Knight. When the ground receded, the Monster's armored had turned from dark purple to brown and his demon motif was replaced by golem themed armor. In place of his single claymore, he instead held a pair of bladed knuckle dusters "Fine, I'll match you to the best of my options."

 

Battlestorm looked at James' hand and then wiggled his five claw tipped fingers in front of the Signer's face "Do you really want to shake my hand?" He asked "I can't guarantee that blood won't be drawn if you do." He gave a slight smirk and held up his closed fist to James instead.

 

"And what I meant was that while we're doing that we make sure to leave no survivors. We're not just thinning the herd so the Signers can swoop in and save the day anymore. I, at least, am out for blood. Two dead guards for every dead X Saber."

James laughed. "You may have a point." He did the same as the monster did to him. "Hey, I know one of the signers that uses transformation monsters. I think he may be in the human world, but if he's in the spirit world, he would be not too far from Neos Space."

"Now you're talking! But not right away, I say we duel them into death, seeing as how you destroyed the old card shop, I figured it was during a duel when there was no reason for the building to catch on fire in any other cases."

Rainbow Neos looked though an orb, allowing him to see the spirir world. "It's seams the Signers are all busy, but the two non-signers heading this way are what worry me the most." He looked to one of his guards. "Yubel, go after them."

The lady with three eyes and hair that was two different colors, pruple and white, teleported away, to the outside of the Mystic Plasma Zone.

"Alright, but first, I think we need to take out the warden here." Battlestorm said "With him dead or otherwise incapacitated, the Dragunities will most likely be freed from whatever Spell Card is holding them captive, and all these prisoners will be set free." He gestured to all sides, giving James the realization that they were in a maze of cells, each one occupied by no less than two prisoners. "I was the most recent captive, so they made the mistake of giving me a cell to myself until you came along."

 

"Or, how about as soon as we get there, we have our Monsters destroy everything in sight until a Neos shows up?" Drake suggested "And keep in mind that no matter what you say, Hammerer and Wyvern will outvote you no matter what."

Aki stepped forward, ready to fight, but then she backed off. "This is pointless. I can't win against that, so I am willing to act as a proxy and take any punishment you might be willing to inflict upon Michi. If you that, you have to promise me that you will let her go free."

Michi ran over to Aki and hugged against her onee-chan. "Please, don't! I don't want you to get hurt because of me! I'll try to do better! I promise!"

Aki turned around and hugged the teenage Duel Monster Spirit. "Don't worry. I promise that I will be just fine."

Aki then walked up to the Elemental Knight, arms outstretched and eyes closed. "Go on then. You want to make someone pay? Might as well be me."

Rayos, meanwhile, was stuck in the human world since Avian and Boulder were otherwise occupied and Spirit, being a mere Level 1, was exhausted from the effort of having to bring Rayos back from the Spirit World in the first place and was confined to his card until he was fully conscious.

Boulder sighed and picked Aki up, giving her a shallow cut on her shoulder since the "knuckle dusters" on his hands turned out to simply be interlocking protrusions from his armor and thus were permanently attached. After that, he set the cyborg down, out of his way, and sliced at Michi's throat.

[The Dragon Duelist]

Red Dragon Archfiend landed at the edge of the prison roaring. The Dragunities spirits flew at him as right as they got close he held his cards up revealing Dragunity monsters. They all stopped bowing before him as he walked along the path. "James! James!" He began to run through the area looking for his fellow signer. "Hello?! Anyone there?!" He dashed throught the corridors yelling at the top of his lungs. "James!"

The attack mised her jugular vein, but Michi buckled over from the slash, blood pouring from the cut across the bottom of her neck. Aki rushed over and grabbed the Duel Monster Spirit as she fell to the ground, holding onto her.

Michi looked up weakly at Aki, smiling. "Onee-chan...thank you...for standing up...for me...Tell Meata...to liberate...Master Neos...for me..."

Michi then turned her head straight up, blood coughing from her mouth.

"Look...I can...(cough)...see...my...(cough)...family.....They're...(cough)...right here...(cough)...with me....."

Michi then closed her eyes as her head slumped over, a smile on her face.

Aki picked up Michi's body and kissed the Pathfinder on the forehead before opening a portal.

"Getting revenge on you would be pointless, and the poor innocent girl you just killed wouldn't have wanted me to go down that road. Instead, I'm simply going to leave."

Aki walked to the portal and turned back to Boulder.

"By the way, tell Rayos and the other Signers that I refuse to fight in this war anymore."

She disappeared, and the portal closed behind her.

Boulder looked at where the girl used to lay and closed his eyes, focusing on residual energy "LIGHT..." He said with a shocked whisper "Not one hint of darkness or corruption..." He placed his hand on Michi's blood and the earth beneath it quivered and shook "I cannot give you your life back." He whispered to the blood, "But I can give you Drake's retribution. Three lives to join you in the afterlife." A circle of bronze six inches in diameter surrounded the puddle and Boulder glowed and turned blue. He moved his hand off the bronze and onto the ground immediately beside it, which then turned to pure ice. The Knight then turned back to Shadow Slayer and a swirling vortex appeared next to the ice. He repeated this process for fire, wind, and light, until there was only a one inch circle of earth left around the blood, with the six Attributes arranged in the circles around it. Elem, now back to his original form, placed his armored hand on the blood once more and started slowly dissolving into particles of light.

Aki's portal opened up on the edge of a sandy plateau overlooking an immense desert with three suns overhead. All of the sand and dust...caused Michi's dead body to sneeze?!?

Michi got up, and hugged Aki as the cyborg set her down on her own two feet.

"Great job making that fatal attack look fatal!" Aki complimented the girl.

"It was nothing!" Michi replied. "When you turned to me and telepathically transmitted the plans, THAT was genius!"

The two hugged as they overlooked their surroundings.

"Well, we'd better lay low for a few days until it's time for us to rejoin the group. From what I saw in Rayos' mind, we have less than 10 days until the end of the world."

"But what will we do until then, onee-chan?"

Aki then spied a town and smirked. "We get some new clothes. My treat."

Elem, unaware that he did not, in fact, murder Michi, poured the last of his energy into the memorial he created for the Pathfinder. He traced an ankh into the ground with his index finger and burst into hundreds of small points of light that, instead of slowly flickering out, sank directly into the memorial, making the ankh glow a vibrant shade of orange.

 

Spirit, still in his card, let out an unheard agonized scream and his card burst into a dozen points of light.

 

Meanwhile, in the human world, Rayos collapsed to his knees and held his head in agony, specks of light slowly rising off of his flesh and clothing, but nothing came off his Duel Arm.

 

Meanwhile, smoke started to collect in a perfect sphere next to Michi's memorial.

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

In his agony, a voice spoke out to Rayos.

"Rayos...It's Aki...Your Elemental Knight killed Michi, so I'm leaving you for a while to clear my head, as well as see how much destruction the Power of Chaos has done so far. Whatever you do, make sure that nobody does anything stupid, especially your Elemental Knights. I think they might be using their energy to do something to honor Michi, which is causing you so much pain, because I can feel your suffering from my end of the connection. I will try to stay in contact with you in your dreams. Goodbye, my love. And give the rest of the food to the local homeless shelters."

Jasmine just looked away. I knwo his hearts in the right place, well, kinda, but his methods seam wrong. "You know, at least a few of the guard are good, but corrupted? We don't want to KILL the ones that will become pure again when Neos is restored to his old self. Even if we just stun then, knock them out for a while, it will be enough to give the signers an easy path."

James looked at him for a second. "When did they lock you up? Before or after Neos was possesed." James heard the kid yelling his name. "I guess my search party is on the way, but i'll have enough time to help you stop whatever's possesing the Dragunities."

Aki's voice was the last thing Rayos heard before he exploded into thousands of points of light, leaving only his Duel Arm, still engraved with his Mark of the Dragon.

 

The cloud beside Michi's memorial solidified into a solid black sphere as soon as Rayos died.

 

"Can you tell a truly evil Spirit from one that's just corrupted?" Drake asked Jasmine "Can you tell if a corrupted Spirit wasn't evil to begin with?"

 

"Immediately after." Battlestorm told him "I was the member of a group of six Spirits, selected due to our possessing a certain innate talent, though the Goddess never told us what that was." He shrugged "Whatever it was, it was enough to elevate us to the highest circle of the Spirit World, subordinate only to the Neo Spacians, Yubel, Alius, and Neos himself."

 

Avian, flying along above Red Dragon Archfiend, let out an agonized shout and collapsed unconscious onto the Signer Dragon's back.

"Hmm... Interesting. Now, to free the Dragunities. Do you know where the guard may be?"

"I guess you have a point." Jasmine looked infront of them, seeing a lady with oddly colored skin. She skid to a hault before hitting her. "Can we help you?"

"Yes, I believe you can." Yubels third eye turned black as a small bubble of the area around them was turned to darkness. "Now, I have to take care of you both." She pointed at the Drake. "YOU! I know what you're planning to do to me. Don't think about it, won't work here anyways. Now, we duel, you win, your free to beat the crap out of any spirit you want, I win, I do with you both what I want. It's two against one, so the odds are on your side, but I quite like my chances. Besides, your not in much of a place to negotiate, now are you?

"Their guard is a member of my team." Battlestorm told him, "He's a bit of an arrogant ass, but I highly doubt that he'd imprison me of his own volition. He nodded once "No, scratch that, I'm absolutely certain that there's no way in the dozen dimensions that he'll have sold us out to the Power of Chaos unless his mind was invaded and taken over." He flapped his wings restlessly and finally got himself oriented using a sixth sense only Winged Beast Spirits could posses "Three corridors behind you, take a left, four passed that, right, five more, take two lefts, third ight after that. I can't get a good sense after that."

 

"Jasmine, there's no need for us both to be locked in a Duel." Drake said, drawing his plain black single bladed Duel Disk and slipping it on his wrist "I'll take the Power of Chaos's little w@#$%, you stay back so that when she calls in one of the Neoses to save her, you can Duel him."

Cici appeared out of a portal in front of the monument Elem had created, along with the dark sphere behind it.

"F**k! This wasn't supposed to happen!"

"No. It wasn't."

Itsu reappeared out of thin air, her amulet shining brightly before it faded back to a gentle glow.

"Shadow was right: There is a saboteur, but not Michi. Someone from outside this timeline is causing even more alterations. Someone planted that idea in Shadow's head to kill Michi. In the original timeline, Michi and Shadow quickly bonded, and Michi was accepted into the group."

"Then what the f**k are we supposed to do, you time-jumping c**t?!?"

"You're letting yourself go again, my friend."

Cici's eyes turned blue, and she blushed as she hung her head in shame.

"I'm sorry, Itsu. I'm still learning to control my abilities again."

"Your rage is needed at a later time. For now, continue training, but first..."

Itsu closed her eyes, and her amulet started to shine again, which caused Cici to disappear.

Like a rewound tape, Elem reappeared in front of Itsu as the shadow sphere disappeared, and, in the human world, Rayos unevaporated. The amulet stopped shining, and Itsu looked down at the knight.

"Do you know who I am, Elem?"

The knight nodded silently, unable to speak in his base form. He communicated no emotion and may as well have been an empty suit of armor because, aside from a single nod, he remained perfectly motionless.

 

Despite its apparent catalysts being revived the solid black sphere behind Elem and staring Itsu straight in the face didn't change or so much as move, even though time was already rewound and thus it shouldn't have been in existence yet. Inside of the sphere, which was now ten feet in diameter, a vaguely human shadow appeared, unseeable by those outside of the sphere "Soon." It whispered "Soon my resurrection will be complete."

"Good, because I am here to help." Itsu replied. "I want you to get to Rayos and bring him here. Something's afoot, and I want let him know what's going on before-"

A familiar face stepped from the shadows, and Itsu gasped.

"You! I should've known!"

[Ace Daimon]

None other than Melvin Ishtar, Itsu's old rival, stepped forth.

"Why hello, whorebiscuit! Surprised to see me? Can I have a hug?"

When Itsu didn't respond, he just frowned.

"Seriously, I come all this way to plant a few ideas in the heads of a couple of Duel Monster Spirits, and you don't even say "Hi"? Where are you manners, whorebiscuit?!? I thought we were friends!!!"

Elem looked at the crazy Egyptian and shook his head, standing up and placing himself solidly between Melvin and Itsu, though he left Cici wide open for Attack. The silent knight held his arm out to the side and snapped his fingers once, causing Spirit of Nature's card to appear in his hand. He flipped the card into the air and the sparrow/eagle hybrid flew out of it and grew in size so that his wingspan was as long as the Knight was tall. Spirit flew down and attached himself to Elem's back, causing them both to turn red.

 

A shadow flew down and formed into a human shape "Melvin, why did you have to go and reveal yourself to these three?" He asked, stepping out of the shadows to reveal his gray hair and eyes and tattered clothing, "Do you know how much of a bother it's going to be to kill them now? Sure, the Spirit shold be easy, and I have a bone to pick with Itsu, but Cici? She could have been useful for us later on." He sighed and rubbed at his wrists, calling attention to the two twin bladed solid gold braces he wore on his forearms. "Unless of course you two are willing to come back to my side." He held up the Sin World* Spell Card for Itsu "Someone has to carry on Paradox's work."

Appearance: Aryos's appearance remains shrouded in mystery. Bryce is taller-than-average with gray eyes that seemed to have been sucked into his head and deathly gray skin only found on one who has passed on to the next life. His clothing is tattered, with holes spaced sporadically around his shirt and jeans. Both are ripped and tattered with age and exposure to the elements. The dye has long since faded away completely, leaving them shades of gray, complimenting his hair, which is the same shade of gray light brown turns to when viewed in grayscale. He wears no shoes or socks, showing his emaciated feet and sickening gray toenails. His arms and hands are always covered by a matte black cloak and gloves.

Group: Other, works with Melvin for the time being.

Deck: 7 Sins (Ground)/ 4 Horsemen (Turbo)

Melvin turned to Aryos, annoyed. "Because I was BORED!!!" He replied, angrily. "For the past...however we've been here, all we've done to throw a wrench in Paradox's little love doll's gears is tell a few lies to a paranoid duel Monster Spirit and nudge a few leaders of the Duel Monster Spirit World down a path they wouldn't go normally!" He grabbed his superior by the shoulders, and brought Aryos in close so that their heads were almost touching. "I want to hug people, Aryos!" He hissed. "I want to hug them soooooo badly...."

He then shoved aside Aryos and activated his Duel Disk as a purple fog settled around the room.

"Which is why I'm staring with Whorebiscuit here!"

IC:James smiled and nodded. "You coming, or going to the signer with the transformations?" James started up his d-wheel. "If you're going to be on your way, thanks a lot, you've been a great help. Hopefully you find Rayos, the signer I think you're after."

"Do as you please. This will only make it twice as easy to get the both of you." She rased her arm with a duel disk on it that looked liked it was fused with her skin. "Prepare yourself."

"Drake, if we team up, we can take her down twice as fast." She unhooked her duel disk from her d-wheel and put one of her decks in it. "Now let me help you!"

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

Itsu replied. "No. I once was Paradox's right hand. Sin is a more appropriate name for my cards, because they represent my own sins. Every card in my deck is a reminder of a world that I destroyed or corrupted personally. I plan on using these vile weapons to mend the damage that I have dealt, along with my Eclipse Amulet, the very artifact that helped throw this strange fusion of worlds into the situation it's currently in!"

She then saw that Melvin was about to duel her, and smiled. "Very well, Melvin, but I defeated you once, and I can do it again!"

Bryce nodded "Yes, your cards represent your sins, mine, however, serve a much more, useful purpose. Whereas your are just your melodramatic self loathing, MY Sins are my windows into the souls of my enemies. Whenever I destroy them, I bend them to my will, showing them the way to the future that the great fool failed at creating." His twin modified Dia Dhanks glowed and he turned to face Cici "So, which Sin best defines you? Lust for the object of your affection? Or maybe Envy for his other options?"

 

((BWing, since Bryce's cards are the Sin Monsters, which he stole from Paradox before they were renamed for the TCG, can't you just let me call them Sins? They don't make sense otherwise))

 

Battlestorm smiled "Take it one step at a time, Signer. First, we have to get out and defeat the warden. Then, if you happen to be going towards Rayos, I'll go with you to fulfill my destiny." He folded his wings around himself and started off "Try and keep up, Signer."

 

"Jasmine, I can take care of this." Drake told her "Besides, if we keep tag Dueling against everyone that comes up, instead of alternating, we're going to be exhausted. Remember, we're not in the human world anymore. I had to make a conscious effort of will to not kill you during out last Duel. I'm reasonably sure that I can defeat her, but, if I lose, I know that my own Psychic powers will at least let me live. If you Duel with me, and we lose, I don't have the focus to keep us both alive."
