Jasmine finally turned to Drake and shook her head. "That's all I'll need." She got on her d-wheel. "We should get going soon, Rayos and AKI will figure out where we are." SHe turned on her d-wheel and rev'd it up, starting to drive away.

James drove out of the cave, turned around and went back up the mountain. Could it be true? Am I destined to betray the Signers and become a Dark Signer? James turned to Gale. "You heard Crimios, what do you think, Gale?"

"I don't know what to think. Your a good guy, too good to be a Dark Signer."

JAmes gave him. "Remeber the Dark Seal?"

Moment of weakness, and you ended up not hurting anyone, and you came to your senses afterward."

James smiled and continued up the mountain.

Drake hopped on his Duel Runner and caught up with Jasmine "We should probably stay a little ways away from the Mystic Plasma Zone, and, since we're aren't Signers, conventional wisdom would tell us that we should limit ourselves to taking out the scouts, until Rayos, AKI, James, and the kid catch up." He revved up Vulcan and smiled a little "That being said, I think we should head straight for the Mystic Plasma Zone and take out a couple of Neoses, just to send Rainbow a message." Hammerer appeared next to him riding Wyvern like the Dragon was a motorcycle.

Jasmine smiled back. "I like that plan." Jasmine turned noticing Harpie Queen beside her. "So lets go." She rev'd her d-wheel again, passing Drake in a puff of smoke.

James had reached the top of the mountain, noticng there was more than Dragunities up there, looking at a Blue-Eyes White Dragon fly over his head. "Dang..." Then James and Gale where surrounded by Dragon-like warriors, poking them with spears. "Hault, intruders," announced the dragon warrior. "Crap." said James

Drake flicked a switch on Vulcan and fired up the Overboost, jetting him forward like lightning until he caught up to Jasmine. "Custom made." He told her over his Duel Runner's microphone, "I've got all kinds of fun stuff that you don't find on factory models like yours."

 

Spirit, who was still yelling at Gale to pay back his debts, was startled, not by the Dragunities and the Blue-Eyes, but by a vague shadow in the distance. He let out a stammered warning to Gale about the Blackwings and vanished in a sphere made from the six Attribute symbols, sans kanji.

Aki managed to get to the fridge, with Rayos' help, and plucked off a guide to local take-out installations, as well as the menus to each one. She managed to acquire a pen and circled what she wanted, and had Rayos make the calls.

 

Michi was bored. "So when are we going to go do something?!?" Ever since she helped AKI get back to the house she started in, she had no one to talk to, and wished that her nee-chan would return.

"Aki, I doubt we have time for all this..." Rayos said, looking at the rapidly growing list "Don't you remember what the not-unbearably-annoying Pathfinder said? The Spirit World's under attack, I think the lives of every Duel Spirit ever are more than enough reason for us to put off testing your personal tastes for a later date, like when all of existence isn't being threatened..." He remembered his conversation with Itsu I wonder how many times I've said that before... He thought dryly.

 

Shadow was standing next to Michi "You do realize I'm right here, right?" He asked the girl "And, I realize that you're probably from the far eastern region of Neo Space, but I'd appreciate it if you spoke English around Master Rayos and Miss Aki."

Aki grinned as she picked up the phone and a thin line of black material entered the phone. "Not if I make the orders all at once."

All across the city, take-out locations started receiving orders from the same address timed just perfectly so that they would all arrive within 1 minute of each other.

Aki then weakly got up and walked back to her old body, stumbling a bit, until she picked up her old Duel Disk, and rigged the device so that she could use it. She then went back into the living room/dining room combination, and sat down in a Lay-Z-Boy chair, Duel Disk ready.

"How about we duel until the food arrives?" She asked.

 

"You know, I've had it up to here with your complaints, you stupid baka!" Michi retorted. "I'm leaving!" She formed a portal and tried to travel to AKI, only to end up in the middle of New Domino City.

"Is there some form of wager on this Duel" Rayos asked, gently picking Aki off the chair before sitting down himself and placing Aki on his lap "Though, I must admit, there's something other than Dueling that's on my mind now that you're like that."

 

"Listen, crazy, I didn't say a word to you before that sentence." Shadow said, following Michi through the portal and grabbing her by the hand, "I just don't want you to confuse Master Rayos by speaking in a language that he doesn't fully understand."

Aki pulled down a board game and showed it to Rayos. "You mean Scrabble?" She asked helpfully.

 

Michi started to cry. "Look, I'm sorry for what I said, but that language is a part of me. I am the only survivor of my original home, and even though I speak Spirit Common, what you all call English, I like to spice up my everyday talk with the words of my home, so that I can always remind myself who and what I am fighting for. Is that what you want: to take away one of the few remaining links to my past?"

"No, not Scrabble." Rayos said, giving Aki a slow kiss, "I doubt it would be fair to play against someone that's probably got every single word ever uttered stored in her databanks, now would it?" The amnesiac asked, breaking the kiss with visible effort "Your body's still new, isn't it?" He asked rhetorically, slowly tracing her spine with his flesh hand "And, considering the fact that some of your muscles haven't been worked out in the first place, and the obvious stress of learning that the Spirit World is going to be destroyed, you could probably go for a nice massage, right?"

 

"I'm not saying that at all." Shadow said, holding the crying girl "I'm just saying that, considering the entirety of our home is coming to a bitter end soon, until this crisis is sorted out, I think it would be best, at first, for you to be slightly less connected with your past, so Master Rayos doesn't have to wonder what you mean half the time. After this is done with, you can feel free to be as connected to your past as you want." He got an idea "If it helps, you could teach me some of Spirit Eastern, if you think it would get you more connected to your past, or maybe it would be nice to just see the language spread and continue on?"

"Mmm..." Aki moaned as Rayos stroked her spine. She closed her eyes as Rayos' hand ran along her sensitive skin. "I'd love to." She whispered.

 

Michi turned to Shadow, still looking upset. "I would love to teach you my language another time, but I still don't think you understand. Talking like that reminds me of what those Alien hiretsukan did to my family, my friends, my hometown, and my homeworld. It reminds me of what I'm fighting for, and strengthens my resolve!"

Rayos continued to slowly work out the knots and tension in Aki's muscles, though for the life of him he couldn't figure out how she got so many in so short of a timeframe. "Aki, when was the last time that I told you I loved you?" He asked her, the claws on his Duel Arm retracting to normal human-sized fingers, albeit made of plate metal, and he moved from massaging her shoulders to her upper back.

 

"Michi, again, for the time being, it's best not to think about that." Shadow told her "Power of Chaos isn't going to care what the Aliens did to you, he's going to kill them all the same, in all likelihood after killing us. This isn't a time for us to be divided because someone fits into a different Archetype, this is the time to be united against our common foe."

Michi pulled Shadow in close so that their foreheads were almost touching. "The Aliens. Killed. Everyone. I. Know. Is that slow enough for you to understand?!?"

 

"Hmm..." The moan Aki emitted was either a sigh of deep thought or a gasp of pleasure from the massage. "I really don't remember. My old self would've remembered, but I have much more...organic limitations now. This body was created through a mix of dark magic, psychic powers I didn't even know I had, let along could use like I did, and nanobots, hence the reason for the biomass: I needed some more for my nanobots to be able to rebuild me. I knew this would work because someone else did this before I did."

"Rainbow Neos will kill EVERYONE, you, me, Master Rayos, Mistress Aki, your sister, the Aliens, everyone." Shadow told Michi "I'll help you kill every Alien later, but for now, we may very well need them to survive."

 

"That's too long." Rayos told Aki, moving his massage slightly lower once he got all the knots out of her upper back "I love you, Aki, and I always will, even if, by some miracle, we're living together three centuries from now, I'll still be with you, until you find someone better." He again kissed her neck, continuing the massage and warming both his hands, causing his irises to turn red on the edges.

"Factory model? If I remeber right, you rebuilt this for me." Jasmine smiled then looked ahead. "We should be there soon."

James had passed out sometime after the dragon warriors attacked. When he woke up, he was in a prison cell being guarded by Vanguards. "Hey! What did I do? I just walked, I mean drived, up the mountain." They ignored him. James looked around, noticing they had his D-wheel chained up next to the cell and Gale was chained to the wall and he had also passed out. "Just what I needed when this world is in trouble, something to make this day better." James sat on the floor, looking through his deck, figuring the only way out would be a duel.

Aki turned over, revealing that she was crying, and feebly reached up to wrap her arms around Rayos' neck. "Thank you so much, Rayos. I'm just so happy that you care about me as much I care about you." She leaned up and just barely kissed him before returning to the table, exhausted. She then managed to roll back over on her back. "Could you continue? That really felt good."

 

Michi reluctantly nodded. "Fine. But where do we go now?"

"Yes, but you only paid me for a factory model upgrade. The Overboost system and all my little additions that I gave to Vulcan after buying his parts off some pissed off Germans were quite a bit extra." Drake told Jasmine.

 

A humanoid Duel Monster was chained to the wall of James' cell "So," He said, his voice betraying an accent similar to Gale's "The Dragunities locked you up too?" He stretched his arms, revealing scaled hands with five clawed fingers. He stretched his legs, revealing a scaled, single clawed feet. He ruffled what looked like a cloak, hidden as it was in the shadows, and a black tipped white feather fell off it. "So, what did you do, Signer? Piss of one of the Knights? Get to close to the Arms?"

 

Rayos stroked Aki's cheek "Why are you crying, my love?" He asked, still massaging her back and shoulders.

 

"Well, Master Rayos and Miss Aki are currently occupied, the kid seems to have passed out again, Red Archfiend sure can pick Partners, James is in jail, and the LIGHT Duelist is still screwing up my senses, so I can't sense where in the holy Hell he is."

 

((BWing, maybe find a 6th person to join using the body Mark from WC09 and BRD, that way in case Cake never shows back up, we don't have to retcon him to have 5 Signer))

"Because..." Aki started. "Well...am I supposed to cry if I'm really happy? From what I've gleaned from Wikipedia, crying usually occurs when you're sad. Is that always the case? I mean, Wikipedia can never be wrong, right?"

 

"Well, who do YOU think we should go check in on first?" Michi asked Shadow. "Rayos and Aki nee-chan are important, and we haven't heard from them, but what about James? Do we need to bust him out? And what about the Red Dragon user and the kid you mentioned? Are they alright? And do we need to go find this LIGHT Duelist?"

 

((Going to bed.))

"Well, tears of happiness is one option, yes," Rayos said, nodding and wiping her eyes with his flesh hand "Crying from sadness is the most prevalent, but happiness, laughter, and blatant frustration are also possible." He picked her up off the table, though he wasn't fully sure where it came from, and sat back down on the chair before gently setting her on his lap, "Aki, my love, promise me something." He said, looking deep in her heterochromatic eyes, "Promise me that you won't ever change."

 

"I think that we're best to sit here and look after the kid." Shadow said, "James was arrested by the Dragunities, he can just talk his way out of it, or else his cell mate can bust him out." The Nature Knight told her, "Miss Aki and Master Rayos are going to come back of their own volition before too long, and the LIGHT Duelist would be a needle in a planet sized haystack for me right now."

"But you also mentioned another Signer with a Red Dragon or something. Is he worth checking out?"

 

Aki stared back at Rayos, but then looked down in shame. "Rayos, I-"

The doorbell rang, and rang, and rang again. Aki slowly got up and peeked out the window to see many delivery people standing outside the door. "Food's here!" She proclaimed excitedly before turning back to hand Rayos a credit card. "Could you please go get the food and pay them all with this? It's my credit card, in case you were wondering."

[Blackstone Dresden]

"That would be the passed out kid." Shadow said, pointing in the sky to where Red Archfiend was circling overhead like a vulture. "Kinda a dead giveaway, don't you think?"

 

Rayos shook his head and took the card before walking to the door and paying for Aki's food. He then took the edible mountain and deposited it around the table, chairs, counters, and on the cutting boards "Aki, you're food's here." He said simply, sitting down in the one chair that he made a point of sparing.

ooc:I said there where going to be up to 10 signers. 5 regular, and 5 sub-signers, with light blue versions of the normal marks.

James turned to the human-like spirit. "Heck if i know, I just drove up here and boom! They were after me." James turned to Gale, still out of it. "I don't see any reas... Wait, how did you knwo I was a Signer? I haven't used my dragon since my duel with M... an old friend."

Jasmine turned away from him.

A cat duel spirit was lying in front of the path Drake and Jasmine were going down.

"Oh no!" Jasmine slammed on the brake. "Go on without me!" Jasmine watched as Drake continued to get smaller and smaller. "Let's go." She moved the cat onto her d-wheel and started ti up, heading into the forest area. "I would guess that's where you live, seeing as how you're a beast monster.

Just as Jasmine turned into the forest, a lion creature with long claws came out of the trees, trying to attack Jasmine.

((BWing, James' cell mate is gonna be Rayos' new secondary Duel Spirit after Avian goes off to head the fight against the PoC from the Duel Monsters side of things. Also, remember my Surging Dragon Knights from page 2? Mind having Dragoequites/some Warrior Monster be come into play soon, preferably with Dragolegio's card))

 

"Your sleeve's rolled up." His cell mate said, pointing to the red tattoo on James' arm "The Dragunities must have checked you before they brought you in." He shifted slightly in the shadows and his cloak ruffled again, causing a single black-tipped feather to fall. "I wouldn't plan on getting out any time soon, Signer, I've been locked up in here for about a year and a half, still awaiting my execution. By the way, whatever you do, don't piss off a Dragunity Legionnaire that's been drinking. Next thing you know, you're gonna be sitting in a jail cell guarded by a particularly miffed Knight."

 

A pair of small fireballs shot down at the lion creature as Wyvern and Hammerer flew in between Jasmine and the creature.

Aki looked over the various meals, and picked out a basic combo meal with a hamburger, some fries, and an ice-cold Coke. She bit into the hamburger, and her eyes lit up. "Rayos, this hamburger is amazing!" She then tried a few fries, and liked that as well, and even got some ketchup and used that on both her hamburger and her fries, which only enhanced the experience. The Coke topped her first real meal all off.

"Time to find out if a chicken sandwich, waffle fries, and a chocolate milkshake are any better!" she declared, getting the next meal.

 

"How about we start with the KO Kid?" Michi suggested as she headed for the circling Dragon.
