"There's only two Elemental Heroes I know, and both of them have 'Neos' in their names!" The Pathfinder replied, summoning a Duel Disk, but before she could do anythng, AKI's avatar swiftly attacked the woman, her eyes glowing red. "Trust me. You don't want to do that." The two women fought hand-to-hand in a stunning display of fan-service, but AKI finally smashed the gemstone on the Pathfinder's chest, causing her to change back into a blonde-haired girl in a Neos-themed sailor fuku outfit before knocking her unconscious. AKI's eyes turn back to gold as she places the Pathfinder on her robot body. "Now, let's go find Neos." AKI told Rayos as she flew into the portal.

"AKI, make sure I make a point of telling you how much I love you more often." Rayos told her, reverting to his normal self with conscious effort, though Great Tornado was still active on his Duel Arm. He let out another focused effort and the Neo-Spacian ally reverted back to her card form, which he immediately pocketed. Then he hopped on AKI's Duel Runner form and wrapped his arms around the Avatar's waist.

 

Tara, meanwhile, had an eye on the two Signers "So, that scrawny little kid thinks that he's fit to replace my brother?" She asked, zooming in the image that her window, almost invisible against the black of space, showed her, "Aha, and his little doll thinks she's worthy of a Signer's power? Pathetic." She waved her hand over the window she created and brought up an image of a LIGHT Duelist, "Ancient Fairy Dragon... You traitorous |3!+(#, I'll deal with you when the time comes." She assured the man, sending out another pulse through the window, making him invisible to track by Duel Spirits "Four Signers against the Army of Neos? Maybe my Birthmark will find her way home after you're all slaughtered."

AKI entered the portal to find.....an area almost exactly similar to the Otherworld."Well this is odd." AKI realized, until the colorful swirls started to fade a bit to reveal a solar system similar to Earth's. "Miss Pathfinder..." AKI gently pokes the knocked-out girl. "Wake up..." The girl stirs, and looks around to see that she is in Neo Space.

"Help! Somebody help! Aliens have got me!" She screams, but AKI simply places her hand over the girl's mouth.

"Please explain to us how we are Aliens." The girl calms down, and sits up on AKI's robot body.

"Umm...you were in the Otherworld!"

"We accidentally arived there."

"Well...you could be Aliens in disguise!"

"Have Aliens ever used disguises?"

"Uhh...no...but-"

"Then why do you think they would start now?"

"Umm...uhh....."

"Then we're not Aliens."

The girl was silent for a few minutes, until she noticed them passing a planet,

"We're going the wrong way!"

"Then which way are we supposed to go??

"The Cosmic Observatory is near Gaia." She pointed over towards a dot in the distance. "Right over there!"

"Then let's go." AKI replied as she changed course.

 

((I would be more than happy to explain why they are able to cross a solar system in a matter of minutes.))

IC:James stopped and turned to Shadow. "I think i know who that tunerless signer is, you gave it away with transformation monsters." james reached into his pocket, and pulled out two cards, Genex Controler, and Trust Guardian. "Since I'm sure who it is, can you contact him and give these to him?"

"As long as they aren't on our side, Drake, I don't care. I just figured you'd be of help when it comes to dueling, seeing as how you and James dueled together in during the last attack." She threw down the card. "I guess you're prepared, cause yoyu won't be able to get back home until we fix whatever's wrong."

"One, no, wait, TWO of the signers have been retrieved, with, wait, is it who i think it is?" Pathfinder started to tremble in her suit.

ooc:trying to start a "long lost sibling" thing with the two Pathfinders.

Rayos nodded and tapped the Great Tornado card again, activating the Solid Vision in his mechanical arm and transforming him yet again into the Attribute Hero "I'm not flying unarmed through Alien space through a portal to Neo Space." Rayos blinked a couple times "I'm pretty sure that was the weirdest sentence I've ever uttered." He told AKI and Pathfinder, before realizing that he just contributed a very promising bit of evidence for her Aliens theory.

 

Shadow nodded and took the Trust Guardian card out of James' hand "Rayos' Shadow Droid counterpart ran a Destiny Hero/Genex Deck, I think it's best if we don't remind him of that psychopath." He closed his eyes, shown by the purple lights behind the visor of his helmet winking out, and muttered incoherently for a few seconds, before a blank card appeared in front of him.

 

"Last time we met, didn't you almost rip my face off after you heard what I did to the shop owner?" Drake asked Jasmine "What changed since then?"

Eventually, the three of them approached an obviously Neos-themed space station, and landed in an open hangar bay. The Pathfinder girl got off, and AKI's avatar disappeared as AKI turned into her robot form. Interestingly enough, the girl wasn't shocked. "You know, normally, people react to me changing." AKI stated.

The girl replied "Trust me. When you live with Neos, Alius, and the other Pathfinder, you see a lot more freaky things."

The girl activated a panel, and the door opened to reveal a comfortable living area, complete with a kitchen and a large living room where several couches faced a huge window overlooking the planet below.

AKI was a bit shocked. "There are MORE of you?!?"

"Well, another that carries the title 'Neo Space Pathfinder'. There are two portals to Neo Space, one to the Spirit World, and one to the Otherworld, and each one has a Pathfinder assigned to it. But ever since Neos disappeared..." The girl started to cry. "Alius and the other Pathfinder vanished shortly after, until I was the only one left!"

AKI placed her hand on the girl's shoulder. "There, there. Now, tell us who you are, and what happened." AKI sat down on one of the couches, and motioned for Rayos to do the same.

James tilted his head. "Dang! I knew that he played the D-Heros, but not Genexs. My bad. I have another, if i can find it." He pulled out Rose, Warrior of Revenge. "Any better, or more bad memories awating him with that card?"

Jasmine lookced down. "Now that I think about it, maybe you had your reasons, that he wronged you," she looked at him and smiled, "or was it because he ripped me off when i bought my d-wheel?"

"She better not be holding them up, this is very urgent and if the signers don't get back soon, who know what Rainbow Neos will do."

((TFF, if BWing says there are only two, and since it's his RP, there are only 2. I'd suggest changing "the other Pathfinders" to "the Neo-Spacians" and just say that every portal has a guard?))

 

"Actually," Shadow said, picking up the floating card and showing it to James "There's a Tune Warrior in the Sogen region that I'm on fairly good terms with, so he shouldn't mind that I called upon his card." He heard Pathfinder and closed his eyes and sent Rayos a message.

 

"AKI. We have to leave. Now." The amnesiac told his fellow Signer "Whoever this girl is, she's not Neo Space Pathfinder. She's a fake."

 

Actually, my Red-Eyes were just hungry... Drake thought, "Yeah, I heard some rumors about that guy, but you really pushed him over the edge." He told Jasmine, calling up Red-Eyes Wyvern and Volcanic Hammerer "Alright then, let's go to the Spirit World."

"OK, well are you coming with us or not, cause that spirit, i don't know what she is, is expecting the signers, so me and this kid need to get back."

"Figured. Ok, lets go." She passed throught the vortex, watching the swirling coors around her. Finally, she saw the light at the end of the vortex. The vortex ended right by where she left to the human world, and noticed the spirit. "I'm back!" She looked around. "but where's James?"

"He went to get a signer who fell off course going throught the vortex, he should be on his way back soon." She worried about the other signers and what was going on with the other Pathfinder.

"I am a Pathfinder!" The girl explained. "How else would I be able to get into Neo's Cosmic Observatory, his base of operations? There are two of us, with me being the junior Pathfinder. I...I don't remember the other's name, since I rarely talked to her, and I'm terrible with names to begin with! In fact, I forgot your names too!" The girl nervously chuckled until she realized that her guests weren't laughing. "I'm sorry. What are your names again? I didn't catch them."

"She's a Neo Space Pathfinder." Shadow supplied "I don't know much else about her though, I haven't been in the Spirit World in a couple decades, so my knowledge is sorta dated."

 

"So, we finally get to the Spirit World and James decides to go wander off with some kid?" Drake asked, shaking his head, "Yeah, you good guys are sure on top of things, aren't you?"

 

"Yeah, right, sure." Rayos told Pathfinder, taking AKI by the hand and pulling her behind him "AKI, Elem just told me that he, James, and a Signer I've never met are on their way to meet Pathfinder. A different Pathfinder. And, since this fake said that she's the only Pathfinder after the other died, she blew her own cover." He triggered his Duel Arm again "Get away from us." He told Pathfinder, backing away from her.

The girl perked up. "She's alive?!?" She ran over to the two and asked again. "The senior Pathfinder is still alive?!? Does she know what's going on and where Neos and Alius are?!? Is she coming back here?!?"

Aki placed her hands on the girl's shoulders to calm her down. "Slow down and explain to us your backstory. And for the record, we didn't introduce ourselvs, but I am AKI and this is Rayos, and we are both Signers."

"My name is Michi Shirube, and I used to be a normal girl in a normal city in the Spirit World, until the Aliens attacked. Due to some sort of lucky break, I happened to be the only survivor, and Neos found me, and took me in, making him his second Pathfinder. I've enjoyed my time learning about the Spirit World from Neos, and I only wish that I had been closer to the equivalent to my sister...Meata! Meata Rashii! That's the name of the other Pathfinder!"

"Well, I see no reason why not to believe her. Do you, Rayos?"

The wind started to kick up around Rayos and AKI "Don't try to fool us." Rayos told Pathfinder "Take one more step, and I'll send you flying through that wall. Now, drop the ruse, and let us go. I don't want to kill you, but you're currently endangering the entirety of the Spirit World for some sick joke." He thought of Ilana's status as a Dark Signer Shadow Drone "My sister already got mentally tortured by some sadist today, and you're looking to be a passable outlet for my anger." The wind kicked up again, sending the couch they were just sitting on flying "One more time: Let. Us. GO!"

Michi started to cry, and AKI turned and slapped Rayos before he could respond. "Calm down, you imbecile! She hasn't done anything to us other than mistake us for Aliens, and even that was just a misunderstanding!" AKI held Michi's head against her chest protectively as she stared down Rayos. "Now, even though their isn't a second Neo Space Pathfinder card, why can't there be two of them?"

"Right now, i think that's all we'll need. Thank Shadow, but you never did tell me if you were coming back with us, or going on your own."

"Well, sir, James went to go fetch a signer. My portals have been changing destinations on there own lately, i have an idea why. I don't want to repeat myself, so i'm just going to wait for the signers."

"asmine was looking up at the sky, the mix of different colors swirling around. "Relax Drake, James will be back soon. The kid might just be having trouble trusting James, seeing as, to the kid, James is a stranger, probably thinks he's nuts.

"She told us that the other one was dead." Rayos told her "She brought us here instead of taking us to the other Signers. Do you know why?" He asked "Because either she doesn't know about the other Signers, or she doesn't want us to help them. Now, if the former, she's useless to us, if the latter, she's trying to get us killed. AKI, I'm sorry, but I'm not willing to risk that she's just some good natured shapeshifter that wants to have some company. She's trying to get us killed, or to incapacitate us to allow whatever's trying to take over the Spirit World to win." He raised one hand "AKI, please, step out of the way, or forgive me for what I have to do."

 

"I have to come with you. Rayos IS a Signer after all. I'm as bound to him as Gale and Militum are to you." Shadow told James.

 

"Yeah, right. Except, last time, there were five Signers. Take Mark out of the equation, we're left with four. So, James and the kid, where are the other two Signers at?"

James smiled. "I thought maybe you would go back to Rayos, but ok, since he will come sooner or later." He got on his d-wheel. "Hey, kid, need a ride?" James looked at the other signer.

"On there way" SHe saw Rayos about to attack the other Pathfinder. "Except the got side tracked, I'll be right back." SHe teleported.

"That... was weird."

She landed between Rayos and Michi. "Stop!" She pulled out a card, Gravity Bind. Everyone became unable to move. "Now, allow me to explain, I heard and saw everything. Michi, or this Pathfinder," she would have pointed to Michi, if she could move, "Was seperated when Neos became corrupted, and she was, likely, under the impression that I didn't make it. You see, it was all a misunderstanding, now you, with the Gauntlet, will you please exscuse her for her uninformed state and not rip her to shreds? I'll release us all once you do."

AKI turned her back so that Michi was shielded by AKI's body. AKI held Michi tight against her chassis as she turned away from Rayos. "Rayos...I don't know what's come over me. I just feel...some sort of...connection...to this girl. I feel like I need to protect her, and keep her safe, even if it means from you. She did nothing wrong, and I will prevent you from harming her."

AKI closed her eyes and prepared for the inevitable...

Only for ANOTHER Pathfinder to how up!

Due to AKI's structure, she was already built to be able to operate under immense pressure, so the sudden increase in gravity just caused her to turn off her servo limiters. She turned to the Pathfinder, and nodded. "You must be Meata Rashii, if I remember correctly. Thank you so much."

Meanwhile, Michi managed to get the strength to get up and crawled towards Meata. "You...you came back...for me..."

[Blackstone Dresden]

"Rayos can take care of himself." Shadow told James "Besides that, I can finally speak without having him swimming around in the back of my subconscious mind."

 

"If I remember correctly, you have the Spirit of a Harpy in your mind, and you're calling that weird?" Drake asked, looking over his shoulder at Wyvern and Hammerer, then pointing at them "Um, hello, look at those two? You're saying that talking to a female Neos that then disappeared is weirder than them?" He looked back at the two "Uh, no offense."

 

"Fine." Rayos said, not lowering his arm, though the wind did die down around them "One shot. Take us to James and the other Signer, and I won't rip her head off. Double cross us, or pull anything that looks remotely suspicious, and I'll blast you both to shreds without a second's hesitation." He made a visible effort and turned off the Solid Vision in his arm again, making him look like himself again.

"Well, i understand how that feels," James remebered his time as a Dark Seal user. Then memories of Ivy, Tara, then Mark all flowed into his head. He frowned, then looked ahead. "We should be there soon."

"I'm just saying her explaining why James sin't here and then teleporting off in the middle of a conversation is kinda weird."

Harpie Queen Appeared after Drakes remark. "Someone say my name?"

"Well, James is off to find another signer, hopefully on his way back, but i can take you to someone you may know." She dropped MST, causing the force to disappear as the Typhoon came arounf them all, messing up the house. SHe then teleported them to the location where Jasmine and Drake still stood. "I belive these two maybe familliar faces."

"Aaaaand we went full circle." AKI pointed out. Michi ran up to the older Pathfinder and hugged her. "I was so worried! I came home about a week ago to find Neos gone, but you and Alius wouldn't tell me what happened, then you two disappeared as well! I just decided to continue guarding the portals, and tried not to think about where you all went, but now I want some answers! Meata, where did Neos go?"

Rayos' jaw almost literally hit the floor when he saw Drake "You're here?" He asked, amazed "I was sure you would have killed Jasmine as soon as AKI and I left the room."

 

"You're a Signer? I thought you hated Synchros, hence why I could never get you to use Colossal Fighter, despite your mass of Warrior Monsters."

 

"Everyone and their mother uses Synchros." Rayos told him "Not one person I've dueled knew what Transformation Monsters are." He shrugged "Besides, just because I have a Signer Dragon doesn't mean I have to be able to use it. After all, I don't even own a Tuner Monster."

 

"Yet." He said, finally noticing Harpie Queen "Yeah, no, I didn't say anything, why?"

ooc:did you mean Drake? James wasn't with Jasmine, he was still in the spirit world

"Well... whatever." She fadded away.

James saw the gang in the distance. "Hey! I'm back with the signer! What did I miss?" He came to a stop, not payign attention the the two Pathfinders.

"Great, now all of you listen, because i'll only say this once. Well, I was called by Neos before... before, being corrupted. You see, he got into a battle with Power of Chaos, who was in the form of Rainbow dark Dragon. He then fused himself with Neos, creating Rainbow Neos, but was then corrupted. now the spirit world is in danger of 1:Being destroyed by the power of Rainbow Neos, or 2:Being controled by a maniac. Either way, it won't end well. That's were you signers come in. You must defeat Neos before he decides our death. Hopefully he will be purified after being defeated in a duel, but I not sure. He is in the darkest point of the Spirit world, deep in Mystic Plasma Zone, hopefully still fighting PoC off, but we have to assume the worst. Please, signers, and friends, defeat PoC and restore the Spirit World ot it's former glory.

"Go in, Duel Neos, win, kill him, end of story?" Drake asked, shrugging "Yeah, sure, I can do that. You five can go home, I won't be but an hour." He smirked "Or are the Signers... and Jasmine... Here to take out the obstacles while I Duel the real Neos?"

 

"Drake, do you really think you're the strongest Duelist here?" Rayos asked "You've never once beaten me in a Duel."

 

"And you've never beaten me either, little brother." Drake added, looking around, "Hey... Where's Ilana? She's gonna miss my monumental victory."

 

"Ilana's...." Rayos said, "She's... Not coming..."

AKI, in the meantme, went to go check on Ilana. She knocked on her door, hoping she would be there. "Ilana, you still in there? I'm sorry about spraying flame retardant all over your room earlier. Fortunately, the stuff evaportates rather quickly, so it should be gone by now. I'm really sorry about what happened to you, and I want to help you. I feel like it's my fault you were hurt, because I could've detected what was happening much sooner if I hadn't taken that scenic dive with Rayos. Is there anyhing I can do to help you feel better?"
