Jazeth's glance peered deep into Elliot's mind. "Uh....." Elliot slowly and hesitantly stared into the textbook's never ending pages. Elliot stared as if his eyes were glued to the very book itself. "(Whoa, this guy sure is something..... I never been this nervous since the first time I ever duel.)" Elliot thinking to himself while his eyes were skimming through the words of the textbook. He then glanced over to Kimi. "(Huh, that's strange, Kimi isn't her normal preppy self today.... I wonder if it's something concerning the teacher.....)" Elliot then glanced back at his book.

[Lord JZ of the Enigma]

"So then....quick Question!" he looked at the students as most jumped up from fear. "You!" he pointed at a Slifer student. "During the Preliminary rounds of the tournament the arena could change depending on what?" he asked an unclear question, the student began sweating bullets considering he couldn't answer, a few Obelisk Students began laughing, but Jazeth wouldn't take that. "Ah so the question is so easy it's laughable isn't it? why don't you answer it then?" the blue student also became nervous. "Then you have no place to laugh and you may stay silent for the rest of the class, say anything and you will suffer detention for a month. " He then looked at Kimi. "How about you?"

 

Kimi looked him dead in the eye, she could see that he was taking his job seriously and that made her a little happy on the inside, seeing as he was working so hard so she would also have to do her best. "The Arena in Duelist Kingdom changed depending on the landscape that the players were dueling on, for example dueling in an open field gave the same abilities as the field spell card "Sogen" and a cave would be like "Yami"." She stated surely, Jazeth almost grinned.

 

"You are correct, next question then....to whoever knows the answer name the four semifinalists of Duelist Kingdom" he then waited for an answer.

Elliot rose his head and awnsered hesitantly, "Umm..... That would be "Bandit" Keith Howard, Mai Valentine, Joey Wheeler, and Yugi Muto, sir." Elliot was also sweating like crazy with the other nervous students. He was, himself, afraid of getting detention just for a wrong answer.

[Lord JZ of the Enigma]

"I see, so I guess that question was far too simple, I would like the class to also read up about some of the other events held within the tournament, and I would prefer if you all read more than just the duels involving Yugi Muto...." he went towards his chalkboard and began writing down some notes, many involving a few of the major duels that had happened in the tournament, and even a few things involving some of the technical difficulties that occurred, He was a teacher that knew his history well.

 

"man...who knew Jazu-kun would be such a rough teacher....it's actually pretty scary to see him like this....especially cause I can tell he's going easy on us....." she just writes a few notes and smiles a bit. But unbeknownst to her she's being watched by what looks like a black shadow standing next to jazeth.

Elliot sighed in relief and continue to take notes in his notebook. "(Boy, that sure was an ordeal.... Whew, at least I got that out of my system.)" Elliot then started to doodle on his notebook to make it easier to learn the notes. There was one picture, however, that Elliot didn't remember ever drawing. "(Huh, what's this. I don't remember ever drawing this this. It looks sorta like a dark silhouette holding two dragons by a chain, and next to the two dragons is Brionac. Huh, I must've not remember drawing this earlier. Oh well, it's just a doodle." Elliot then looked up and noticed a dark figure next to Jazeth. Elliot in disbelief, rubbed his eyes, and sure enough it was gone. "(Whew, for a minute there I thought I was seeing things.)"

After enough time had passed Jazeth's class had let out, but not before Jazeth had given them quite alot of Homework. "Remember, I want all of that done by tomorrow and on my desk before I arrive. " with that he simply began erasing the board for his next class.

 

Kimi sighed as she tried putting the inhuman textbook in her bag, but found it difficult. "never received this much homework before....Jazu-kun is really going tough on everyone....what do you think Elli-Kun?" She was already giving him weird nicknames it seems.

"(Umm.... Elli-Kun?)" Elliot thought and then smiled weirdly at Kimi. "You're right, this sure is a lot of homework. Well but I guess we have no choice but to do it, right?" Elliot then put his extremely heavy textbook into his backpack. "Ugh..... Hey Kimi, is everything okay with you and Jazeth, he seems kinda unusual towards you. Aren't you two suppose to be close since you're relatives right? But he doesn't even show any excitement, well none that I can pick up on anyways."

[Lord JZ of the Enigma]

"I'm not gonna lie...in my entire life I have only seen him smile for real....once.....and that was when he was dueling his own father for the underground championship.....that's just how Jazu-kun is.....but I worry he may not be having fun dueling anymore....though he has this really really strong card, the one that made him famous in the underground...and he kind of smiles when he uses it.....but it's always seemed kind of creepy cause it has a black aura around it (the Black shadow would seem like something creepy as well). But I haven't seen him use it lately....."

"Hmm, I see..... Hey I know! Maybe I should duel him! Yeah, it'll be a great idea. I can try to make Jazeth use that card and I'll also get practice with using my new deck! It's perfect! Well, what do you think Kimi?" Elliot turned and smiled with overflowing confidence in his eyes.

[Lord JZ of the Enigma]

"Hmm...yeah, maybe you can ask him...I don't know if he'll accept but it's worth a shot right? but you have to remember that he probably won't go easy on you, and your using a deck you don't know......actually now that I think about it....that's one of my dreams...to go against a pro with an uncertain deck, and to come out as the winner!.....you just keep taking all my dreams don't ya?" she joked

[Barian Warlord]

He smirked as he activated a trap. "I activate the trap card Torential Tribute to your summon's! It destroys all monsters on the field and sends them to the graveyard!" His monsters disappeared as a huge flood of water covered the field whiping it out completely.

"I activate My face down Heroes Stand Together, by paying 1000 LP I can add the effect of any of my Hero monsters to another so I'll pay 2000 LP to give Emperors Neos' effect to my 2 other monsters so you'll traps useless and I'll continue my attack." As the wave approaches my monsters and my traps activate and my monsters are shielded by a light from Emperor Neos and they now all directly attack you.

Emperor Neos is unaffected by Spell, Trap, and Monster effects.

Xander looked at the homework that he was given while sitting down in his place in the classroom, Damn, this is going to be rough. Whilst he was leaving the classroom, he heard Elliot and Kimi talking. "Sorry to interrupt your conversation, but I heard what you said about your dream and, well...that's a mighty fine dream you got there." he said while smiling and scratching the back of his head.

Zack woke up, got his breakfast (extra, like he said he would) and went to class, and found out... that he missed class! All over! Then he did something he'd regret two seconds later, he asked the teacher about class "Hey um sir? I guess I-I *gulp* missed class." Zack said in a worried tone, knowing he'd get extra homework, but he also knew that he'd ace it in ten seconds flat, it seemed that the teacher didn't hear him, so he repeated the same words in a less worried tone "Hey um sir? I guess I-I *gulp* missed class." Zack said.

"well, that's nice of you to say.It has been something I've been wanting to do for a long time. But Elli-kun over here is beating me to the punch" she said to Xander as she playfully punched Elliot's shoulder, then as Zack sat down "You sure you can afford being late.....Jazu-kun is pretty strict from what we've seen, and ....oh boy...he's coming over right now.....you better be careful Fudo-Kun, the fact that it took him this long to hear you tells you he's pretty mad..."

 

*note:since there are both Zach/Zack in the RP, Kimi will nickname them by their surnames so they will be:

Fudo-Kun=Ultra Dark Magician

[Sander]

"Free hour? Sweet I guess..could have been that the free hour was first, then this class. That could have saved Fudo-kun and would have allowed us to sleep a little bit more, but you know, can't argue against it." he said. "How rude of me, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Xander Royce, and you?" he asked curiously.

[Lord JZ of the Enigma]

Jazeth stared at the boy. "hmm, from the look in your eye your quite sure about your ability to do this homework, am I right?" He had appeared in front of the small group as if he were a looming shadow, and brought out an extra paper. "This is another paper brought on by the school board, I was going to give it to you all tomorrow, but since mr.Fudo is so sure of himself tat he can skip class I'm sure he would have no trouble explain the rules, mechanics, finalists, locations and playing styles involved in Battle City. You have until the end of the day to hand it in mr.Fudo." with that he turned around and left the class.

 

Kimi just stared. "wow.....he's really into this...you sure got him mad Fudo-Kun." she then looked at Xander and smiled. "Hi, my name is Kimi-Li Zavara, but you can just call me Kimi." she gave an innocent smile as she looked at the paper that Jazeth handed Zack, and it looked pretty difficult, even to her.

"Heh, I did it in my old duel academy... before it was destroyed." Zack said while the painful memory of his old duel academy came back "I aced it. Along with all of this, although, Iv'e gotta admit, in the old duel academy, we did this SOME at a time, not all at once." Zack said while dragging it back to his dorm to do it. 10 minutes later: Zack did all of the homework perfectly and put it on Jazeth's desk, all done perfectly, and went to the arena, and sat down in the first row, waiting for a duel to start, or for him to be challenged to a duel.

Jazeth didn't seem surprised, considering he gave out such easy homework, but looking at the questions and then at the boy's reactions he did notice one thing while he was in the Teacher's lounge. "The boy is working too hard for perfection.....he'll kill himself at this rate, but it seems he has the drive to succeed" he looked through the papers, and everything was pretty much correct except for one thing, in a rushed state it appeared that he hadn't checked his grammar and misused a few phrases. "I'll give him a 99.....he needs to know that there is no such thing as perfection...."

 

Meanwhil in the arena, Kimi seemed to be quite bored as she was just watching other people duel. "Now that I think about it...I haven't had a duel here yet......I totally want to show what I'm made of!" she started exclaiming while waving a flag that stated "Fight On!" where she got the flag will never be known (Hammerspace FTW!)

[Sander]

Xander followed Kimi to the arena, and kinda freaked out when he saw her spazzing out. "So, I assume you want to duel Kimi?" he asked as he placed his hand on his deck bos that was safely secured onto his belt. "I'm up for it" he stated. "And, before we duel, I'd like to ask something; are you in anyway related to Josep Zavara?" he asked while scratching his head, yet again.

[Lord JZ of the Enigma]

"Ara!!! really? yay!" she walked up to the stage and looked in her bag pulling out her duel disk, which to her was far more important then a giant textbook. "I finally get to duel here....I was hoping one of the guys would ask me yesterday...but they never did...so I was kind of sad....." she takes her deck out of the box on her belt. "So now then we can have some fun, don't go easy on me 'kay?" with that the wings of her duel disk opened up and the Blue ring began to glow." you first!" after the word Duel she kind of spaced out, but then it caught up to her. "You heard of my dad! yay! I knew there would be someone!!!" she exclaimed. "He's the man that taught me everything I know!"

[Sander]

"I didn't get to be the best player from Estonia by going easy on my opponents. Fun duel or not, winning beats losing everyday, even if the losers say otherwise." he said in a serious voice when he activated his duel disk.

 

"Alright, I draw then. I'll start by activating Allure of Darkness. I'm sure you already know what it does and what I have to do to pay it's cost." he said as he drew the 2 cards and removed from play 1 DARK monster (Wakeleen - Udoxap).

 

Hand: 7; field: nothing; Life Points: 4000.

 

"Then I'll Normal Summon Wakeleen - Oputiel, and then play this Spell Card called Double Summon. Now I'll Normal Summon again and this time it's Wakeleen - Robiheb. Ah, but I'm not done yet, I'll activate the effect of Wakeleen - Robiheb. By removing him from play, I inflict 1000 points of damage to your Life Points."

 

He smirked as 1000 points of damage was inflicted to Kimi. "Now, since I controlled another Wakeleen monster, I select 1 Spell Card from my Deck and place it face-down. The price is that I cannot use that Spell this turn." he said as he looked through his deck and selected 1 Spell Card, This is pretty good.. he thought as he added the card to his hand and shuffled the deck.

 

"But I won't be leaving my other monster out. He also can be removed from play to deal 1000 points of damage to you." he smirked as he placed Wakeleen - Oputiel and Robiheb to his Deck Box.

 

"I'll set 1 card face-down and end my turn" said Xander, whilst he was feeling really good. I'm really liking the consistency of this deck he thought.

"wow.....2000 Lifepoints on the first turn, and you didn't even attack, looks like I can't go easy either!" she looks at her deck and smiles she places her hand on the top of her deck. "DRAW! Now then, I set two face downs then I'll summon my Mystic Guardian-Nikita in face up attack position, if you have any card to go against it I suggest you use it now!" she stated as her monster appeared on the field.

"Actually, I do. I'll activate my face-down Trap Card called Wakeleen Raikou! When I have at least 2 Wakeleen monsters removed from play, I can activate this card and remove from play 1 monster that you control. Oh, and you take 300 points of damage to your Life Points as well" he said as he sent the Trap Card to his Graveyard.

"I should have known it would be something like that, but I get lucky sometimes," she smiled and reached in her hand. " I can discard my Chibi Brigade - Suri to negate your trap, that way my monster remains, and I don't take the damage....." she slides the card in her graveyard and looks at her opponent, Now then, Nikita! attack directly!" Nikita raises her blade and rushes towards her opponent, her eyes and blade begin to glow a fiery red. "If you need to activate something, do it now!"

Pretty good move she did there, looks like I have to get more serious than I already was.. thought Xander was he took 1700 points of damage from the direct attack, and his Life Points dropped to 2300. "Now, if you don't have anything else to do, I presume you're ending your turn?" he askec calmly.
