"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Zack screamed, the shadows around them disappearing, then Zack fell from the sky, slowly falling down in front of Kimi, he was slowly disintegrating "......." "(Looks like nothing can save me this time.......)" Zack thought with half his body gone, closing his eye "...... Looks like nothing can save me this time......." Zack stated "(Guys....... Elliot...... Dan...... Donovyn....... Kimi....... I'm sorry......)" Zack thought.

The man looked on as Zack fell from the sky and slowly disappear. The man looked at Zack with an eerie and cold look. His eyes were shining in a bright yellow color as he stood within a dimension drift. Zack's last glimpse of inside the dark world was the man. The dimensional rift then closed in a manner that resembles stitching of clothing. Inside the man closed his eyes and walked towards the darkness. "The fool has no idea of the power I hold........... During that duel, I was using only ten percent of my real abilities.......... Soon, the world will once again be shrouded in darkness for all eternity.........." the man coldly stated as he disappeared into the darkness.

Bio: Raised to be successful, James was born into wealth. His family pushed him to one goal that he didn't feel was himself. He dropped everything his parents have groomed him to be in order to be one of the greatest duelists the world has ever known.

"Zack!" she yelled as only half of him came down."Oh god...what happened here?" she could see he was in no position to answer any questions. she ran to him as fast as she could only for him to disappear faster as she came closer to him. "Am I really that useless....I've had to see 4 people disappear like this.....damn it......DAMN IT!"

 

[Meanwhile]

 

Jazeth was in the the underground arena(remember that place?) he was frustrated and rather angry with the fact that Jazeth had just made his mission that much harder. "With Onaga's base form locked i'll have to collect souls all over again......" he strikes the wall in anger. "Grah! well then...my next objective will have to be the girl....especially if she has that White Gold Disk....."

As Jazeth was frustratingly striking the wall, a dimensional rift opened up from behind him and out came the mysterious man. He stared at Jazeth with calm yet cold eyes as he walked towards him. "Humph......... you're easily angered....... aren't you Jazeth?" the man asked as he crossed his arms and closed his eyes. "Onaga will have to wait a little longer because of your little indescretion......... I'm already one step closer of ressurecting the Twilight God.........." the man stated as he reopened his eyes in a calm manner. "I've already taken care of the boy named Zack........... You have one less problem to deal with now Jazeth..........." the man explained as he continues to stare at Jazeth with emotionless eyes.

"Kimi...... don't worry..... I'll be fine..... just think of it as a little rest..... I'll be back don't worry... just..... do me a favor...... take care of my deck for me..... please......" Zack explained as he opened his eye again "...... I won't forget the friends I made here....... later......" Zack stated as the last of him disappeared. All that was left of him was his deck and duel disk, the top card of Zack's deck glowed......

"I don't need to be reminded by you....besides, it's not as if you fought Josep...." he looks at his hand, now bleeding. "And with the fool now gone I won't be able to regain the collected souls.....he pulled a card from his deck. "but since I now hold Zensaki...I still have a way to awaken Onaga.....so I'll be working on that end.....until then....I'll have to set my sights on one of those other children.....I wonder which one would be best.

 

[meanwhile]

"I'll take good care of them....don't worry about it, when you come back...your deck will be waiting for you...." She picked up his duel disk and and his cards and held them close, "I need to find the others....before this happens again."

"Humph........ Is that so?........" the man said in an emotionless voice as he stared at Jazeth's bleeding hand. The man turned around and walked towards the dimensional rift, stopping before completely entering. He turned back towards Jazeth, his eyes shined in an eerie bright yellow color as before when he stared at Zack. "Don't let your emotions get in the way of your mission........" the man stated as he turned his head around and walked into the rift. As he completely walked inside, the rift closed in the same manner as before, and the last glimpse of the man was him making his way into the darkness.

Zack was in the darkness, on the ground, no pupils on his eyes "I-it's p-pretty cold.......... I-I feel weak" Zack stated "....... Wait.... no..... no!" Zack yelled while getting off the dark ground "I-I can't let this happen!" Zack yelled while his eyes where going back to normal "I have friends waiting for me on Duel Academy Island! AAAAAAAAAARRRRGH!" Zack yelled. In the real world: The power that Zack was releasing was causing tremors on Duel Academy Island, more powerful than ever *Rumble! Rumble!*. In the darkness: "AAAAAAAAARRRRGH! ...... Kimi...... Elliot...... Dan...... Donovyn..... I'm coming back!" Zack yelled.

The man had just made his way towards a dark-lit room, with a huge table appearing to have ten chairs. "Humph........... so I guess the others have things they must do........." the man stated as he closed his eyes. Just then, a giant tremor occured. It couldn't be felt at where he was at, but he could sense the Duel Academy Island shaking. He reopened his eyes in a calm manner. "That fast huh?.......... I gave him too little credit........." the man stated as a rift opened up before him. He walked through and noticed the dark void was empty. "I guess I haven't completely broken his spirit........." the man stated with an emotionless tone.

Zack was still in the dark void "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!" Zack yelled, causing tremors that were getting more powerful "I WILL GET BACK! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRGH!" Zack yelled. "GRRRAAAAARRRRGH! AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRAAAAAARRRRRGH! Don't worry! I'm coming back!" Zack yelled, causing non-stop tremors that could be felt almost half way across the world "GRRRRRRRR! When I get my hands on that guy! No one wants to know what I'll do! Well, better get out of here first..... but I have no idea how!" Zack yelled while looking for a way out, when he saw a rift "!!! There!" Zack yelled as he ran into it. A few minutes later: Stardust fell in front of Kimi, then a bright white beam hit it, when the stardust and beam were both gone, all that was there was Zack..... with a thumbs up "See, told ya I wouldn't be gone long." Zack stated exited with his eyes closed and thumb up.

"You...you dummy! you didn't even give me time to miss you. "she said with tears in her eyes, as she walked over to him and punched him in the gut. "you're an idiot for making an innocent girl cry...even if that was impressive." she was wiping her tears from her eyes, and looked at her pocket, she took out the cards and gave them to him. "but I can tell you that they still missed you every second you were gone...."

"Thanks..... what's wrong with coming early though?" Zack asked while holding onto his gut "I see you're still hitting as hard as ever hehehe." Zack joked "But seriously, do you NEED too punch me EVERY time you see me?" Zack asked jokingly "(Why DOES she need too punch me EVERY time she sees me though? It hurts when she punches me.....)" "How do you punch so hard?" "(Seriously.... in one way, I'd rather still be in the shadow realm)" "I thought I was gone for a couple hours..... was I?"

"My parents run the Warrior Clan Dojo, so they have to know how to fight, and if I'm gonna be head of the Clan someday, I have to be strong.....even if I do cry alot sometimes...." she said as she picked up his duel disk and tossed it to him. "We may be needing that, but next guy that attacks us is mine, you just got out of the shadows, and you used a huge amount of energy, you should be tired...."

"No, not really, actually, it was a good rest." Zack explained while catching his duel disk "How's about next time a handicap duel next time?" Zack asked while putting the duel disk on his arm "Heh..... weird in there..... cold..... dark...... blind...... well, I was blind for like a minute..... that's the power of friends...... the power that stands by us all." Zack explained while holding up 'Hope of Friends' "This card is a symbol of friendship....."

"That's right....and right now we need to find our other friends so we can get these Dark Duelists as a group, fighting them one by one seems to be their goal. And I'll be honest, we're not doing so well taking down the major enemies....My father managed to severely hurt Jazeth...but there are still others, like that man you dueled, he seems like a huge amount of trouble....." Kimi looked toward where she felt the others. "and as I thought some of them are dueling even now....we should hurry and find them.

"Oh, and did I mention my Alchemist's other effect? When he's sent to the Graveyard, one of my removed monsters returns to my hand." he said, returning the only monster he had removed from play to his hand, Quai drew his card with a smile on his face. "I trust you remember my old friend, Dooms Day Warrior?he questioned of Gilford, Summoning the monster to his field. The warrior looked at Gilford, seeing he was unguarded. He turned and looked at Quai with a pleading look. "Go on," he said, "Warrior, attack him directly, you as well, Gustaph." he said, sadistically. Gilford was slashed by both blades, and his Life Points fell to 1700.

"Very well," Gilford said, drawing his card. He placed it in his hand, and placed one monster face-down on the field, and placed one one card face down. "This is all I can do for now," he said, ending his turn.

Quai grinned even bigger. "You won't have time to regret that." He dew his card, and chuckled manically. "I tribute my Chaosrider Gustaph," he said as the rider was destroyed, and Tribute Summon Caius, the Shadow Monarch!" he shouted, as the shattered peiced of the Chaosrider reassembled into the form of a giant in dark armor, wearing a tattered cape. "And with his effect," he added coldly, "I get to remove one card on the field from play when he is Tribute Summoned, and I choose your monster card!" he said, crescendoing at the end, pointing to the monster card Gilford had placed. "Now, Caius, attack him directly, he's wide open!" he said madly, sadistically. Caius formed a dark sphere in his two hands, which covered his entire torso, and flung it toward Gilford, who's Life Points had dropped to zero upon being hit.

"Fine, you have won." Gilford conceded. He removed his sword from the floor, and left. "I won because I am a warrior in my own right, and you still talk funny," Quai said. "You are a dark warrior, protector of my target. As I have lost, I shall back down, but I will attack again, as it is my mission to defeat him in a shadow duel." "Trust me, if anyone loses a shadow duel when he's involved, it'll be the one that's not him, now, leave," he said, "and don't say anything else," he added quickly. Gilford left the residence, and vanished. "What was all that about?" Donovyn said, hearing the conversation. "Just discussing him coming around for tea 35 years from now."

"Ya.... we should take the chopper because some are in the city....." Zack suggested "Come on." Zack stated as he ran to the helicopter. But before he went to the helicopter, he took his Duel Runner to the helicopter first. When he got onto it, he quickly got on and put his Duel Runner in a small room "......" "(The Shadow Realm...... I intend on ripping that guy to shreds before sending him there....... showing him true pain..... he needs to understand that true power...... is friends.....)"

Another mystery man with half his body hidden in the shadows appeared in the nearby forest, the only part of his body that was seen was a white cloak "Now to lure the powerful duelist....." the mystery man stated "*Ahem, deep breath* AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" the mystery man screamed, his scream sounded like a 12 year old's would "Hehehe." the man chuckled. "Huh? What was that?" Zack asked before hopping on his duel runner and heading towards the forest on the academy grounds......

As the mysterious man screamed out, a spacial rift opened up, and out came the man with white hair. He stared at the man with cold, unrelentless eyes as he stepped out of the portal. "Humph........ this is your plan to lure out the boy?........ Pathetic....... Why don't you just open a portal and come to him?........ Unless of course, your powers have faded........." The man stated calmly yet coldly at the same time while stepping back into the spacial rift. "Don't get yourself into a shadow duel that you'll lose....... The time is not right yet........ you'll get your chance to wipe them out........ later.........." the man stated eerily as the rift closed, leaving the other man there alone.

".... Right..... I'll just keep him trapped until then..... and I do still have them, that was just more fun..... and I know that will make him come to me...." the man replied. Zack was zooming around on his duel runner, looking for where the scream came from ".... Something doesn't feel right..... I'd better get out of here...." Zack stated, when his runner hit the edge of the forest, a dark aura made him turn around "What the?" Zack asked "..... I guess if I want out of here..... I guess I need to defeat the dark force..... luckily I got a couple of decks prepared just for them....."

Dan was in his dorm resting in his bed. "{Snoring Loudly!!!!}" Just then, Valafar appeared beside Dan and shook him to wake him up. "AHHH!!!! Where are ya Bigfoot?! Huh? Oh, it's only you Valafar, whataya want?" Dan asked tiredly as he wiped his eyes and stretched his arms and legs outwards. "I sense a dark prescence nearby. It seems to be coming from the woods." Valafar stated. "Is that so? Well what are we waiting for? A parade? Let's go!!!" Dan exclaimed energetically as he ran out the front door, followed by Valafar. As they made their way to the dense woods, they got sidetrack and started to follow a trail of dog-like footprints. "Hey Valafar check this out! This might be the prints of El Chupacabra!" Dan stated. "Hey you're on to something Dan! Let's follow it!" Valafar stated as both of them began following the footprints.

The mystery man felt Dan coming their way "He won't be able to get through the force field, once he touches it, he'll be walking away from the forest." the man stated. Zack was still on his duel runner, looking for the dark force who did that "Where are you! I'll find you! If you're with that man that sent me to the Shadow Realm, I'll rip you BOTH to shreds!" Zack yelled. "Hehehehe, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" a voice laughed from the forest "Do you think you can live up to that promise? HAHAHAHAHAHA!" "YES!" Zack yelled, he was releasing power stronger than ever before, causing powerful winds. The mystery man had only used 1% of his power to block it "HAHAHAHAA! I'm impressed kid." "(Where did that power come from?)". "COME OUT! YOU'LL REGRET TRAPPING ME HERE!" Zack yelled "AAAAAAAAAAAH!" Zack yelled, causing tremors that he hoped that anyone could feel. "(Where is his power coming from?)" "Fine kid! If you want a duel you'll get one!" the man yelled as a shadow drone with a shadow duel runner appeared next to Zack "Let's duel!" the drone yelled.

As Dan continued to follow the footsteps, he bumped into a weird barrier. Dan quickly stood up from the ground and stared carefully at the barrier. "What the heck is this?" Dan asked in confusion as he tried to poke the barrier with a stick. "It looks like some weird barrier thing. It has dark energy coming from it. That's not a good sign." Valafar stated. "We should probably go back to the dorms, it looks like we won't find El Chupacabra with this stupid barrier in the way." Dan stated as then walked out of the woods and into a large field that seem big enough for a turbo duel. Just then, Dan and Valafar noticed Zack and two mysterious people with him. "Hey it's Zack. Yo Zack!!!!" Dan shouted. "Dan, I sense dark energies coming from the other two." "Huh, really?"

Shadows appeared around Zack and the Drone "Not again." Zack stated. "My draw!" the drone declared "I summon Zure, Knight of Dark World in attack mode!" [lvl 4 Non-Tuner ATK: 1800] "I'll end my turn with that." the drone stated. "My turn! Draw!" Zack yelled [Zack SPC: 1. Drone SPC: 1] "I summon! Speed Warrior in attack mode!" [lvl 2 Non-Tuner ATK: 900] "Speed Warrior! ATTACK! Hyper Sonic Slash!" Zack yelled. "HAHAHA! What is that going to do? Help yourself lose?" the drone laughed "Not exactly, you see, during the battle phase of the turn that Speed Warrior is summoned, his attack points double." [900-1800] "But if you do that, they will-" the drone stated "Exactly." Zack stated with a smirk as Speed Warrior and Zure attacked each other and both got destroyed "I'll set a card face-down and end my turn."

Zach was sleeping in his bed like always, but this time he felt like he was in a coma. "Uhhhhhhhhh what happened, whats going on.." Zach got up and he felt like he broke his ankle. "OWWWW! oh right, my ankle broke when i was fighting my shadow. i wonder what happened to him." Zach got up limping to the cafeteria to get some lunch. (oh man, this... isnt good, i cant duel until my ankle heals, uhhhhhh.)
