Dan was staring closely at the duel, and mostly at Jazeth's Hametsu. "Man, that thing sure has a creepy aura surrounding it. It makes me feel kinda nervous just by looking at it. But boy oh noy, that thing sure looks strong as heck!!!" Dan exclaimed excitingly. Dan then looked at the weird barrier. "Huh, that looks like it hurts." Dan stated to Kimi. He then examined it closely without touching it. "Man, I wish I could make something like this." Dan stated jokingly as he walked back towards Zack and Kimi. "You two are gonna duel?" Dan asked curiously.

[Lord JZ of the Enigma]

"Are....you...insane....my dad is injured in there!" she yelled as she looked back, but she wasn't going to try to get through the wall again. "Damn...if only we could get through....but this is just too strong. I doubt anything could pass this...their auras are so dense...."

 

"KIMI! Stay back! even if you pass that wall...the aura in here could crush you...just stay out there until this is over...." he yelled, though his eyes never left the field. "Just wait for me..will ya kid?" he pulled out his sword and pointed it at Jazeth. "don't worry Jazeth, this deck will be the deck that will be the one to defeat the darkness." he yelled as he waited for Jazeth's turn.

“Then it’s time for my lord to show his strength, now then, I draw! Now then, I know that there would be no point to attack unless I negate your monsters effects so I activate Great Weakening now then all your monsters effects are negated during the battle phase, which is perfect since all your monsters only gain their effects during the battle phase, and you can’t exactly summon something better…or can you?” He was smiling, he was hoping that he would be able to defeat Hametsu, which the latter was not too happy about. “Hametsu attack Sasha! And crush whatever hopes he has left!”

 

Hametsu obliges and rushes forward with his masamune in hand, he slices at Sasha only to be blocked by the younger Zensaki. “What is this? I thought I negated his protection effect?” he was baffled until he saw Josep’s Trap.

 

“I activate my Trap card Urgent Tuning, now then, with this card I can Tune two monsters during the battle phase, so I tune Zensaki with Sasha. “The Mystics Sing of a pure soul, his sword will cut through the Darkness, become the light in my opponent’s heart! Mystic Guardian - Zensaki!”. Zensaki glows as Sasha touches his shoulder and as the chant ends he transforms into his adult self, facing off against Hametsu, “Now then, since you were attacking a Mystic Guardian(let’s ignore the ruling, shall we?) other then Zensaki, I negate your attack, then, I’ll have Zensaki destroy Hametsu!” The two warrior separate and smile as their auras both glow Zensaki smiles at Hametsu. “It’s been a long time…..brother”

 

Hametsu smiles as well. “Same goes to you….runt….” they then rush forward and clash their swords in a blinding fury of power.

Zack yelled in his head, accidentally using his psychic powers and letting Kimi hear it "(Man, that felt like it was leaving my head and going somewhere else...... man I hate my psychic powers...... for now until I can control them.....)" Zack thought "(Let's see..... what else can I try to do? ...... I can't think, my mind is blank....)"

"I won't kill myself, so just calm down...I'm sure my dad will have something, he always does, even when he lets people wi.....oh god....this mark.....he wouldn't." she looks at the ground and realizes what he's done. "Dad!!!"

As Hametsu tried slashing the other three guardians, Zensaki was always quick enough to block him. “You think I’ll let you touch my friends?” Zensaki yelled as he pushed him backwards, he looked back at the girls who raise their swords, while Shirayuki raises her Steel fans. In a fury the three girls rushed towards Hametsu and used all their strength to push him back to give Zensaki an opening. “Take this!” He rushes behind Hametsu and impales him with his sword. “So…you really are willing to give your own life?” he looked at his own sword which was facing towards Zensaki, piercing his chest. “You die as well!” the two begin disappearing but not before Zensaki brought out a small dagger and threw it at Jazeth. “What the ….ahhh!”

 

Josep looked Jazeth in the eye as the symbol around them grew even larger, almost complete. “When Zensaki destroys a monster with his effect you take half of your monsters attack!” (Jazeth’s LP:3800)

 

“Even till now you demonstrate such skill uncle…fine then….by destroying my Hametsu I can destroy 1 card from the field thanks to the Gate way, so I choose, my own face down, so it activates the Vortex Demon Trap. Which will allow me to special summon 3 vortex tokens, but they won’t stay on the field for long, I haven’t summoned this turn, so I tribute my three tokens to Summon…..” the clouds appear to crumble around the island. ”The Lord of Pain and Misery, Sealed for Millenia by a curse placed on him from the Mystics. If he were ever to Return, It will mark the End of Humanity as the Skies will tear and the Seas will sway with Blood. Arise, The Wrath of Onaga!!!!!”

 

The winds blow to the point where trees are being ripped from their roots, from the seas a large green beast tore threw the waves and appeared to reach the roof of the sky itself. “How do you feel Josep, to see the all mighty God of Destruction in front of you? With his effect his attack will increase by 1000 for every Vortex Guardian in my Grave so his power is currently at 6000, but I‘ll have to end my turn….”

 

Josep looked at the Dark god and smiled. “It’s been a while…..Onaga” he stated with a smile, as Jazeth ended his Turn Zensaki returned to the field “Well it’s my turn….I draw!” the force of the draw completed the Symbol on the ground. “I have it…..I could end this right now with this card…..but I did what I needed to do…..Zensaki….you know what to do right?”

 

Zensaki looked back and gave him a thumbs up. “You better hope those kids win…..if not, then this is gonna be a waste….”

 

“No such thing as a waste Zensaki….I did what I have to lock Onaga for a bit longer….that’s all I wanted….” Josep stated as he pulled out his sword and struck the ground.

 

“What the hell are you doing Josep” Jazeth asked angrily.

Zack yelled as he pulled out two cards from his pocket "(I thought Divine-Beasts were banned................... guess all Ban-Restrictions are lifted in a Shadow Duel..........................)" Zack thought while staring at the cards, not knowing anyone who TRIED to look could see them "(You guys............. looks like I CAN use you guys during a Shadow Duel.... YEE HAW! Wow! Weird thing to think! Luckily......)" "!!!! These are fakes! I guess..... the shadows were my imagination....." Zack told himself while ripping the fakes in half, then feeling a sharp pain...... "(What did I just do?! I never do that! Not even to fakes!)" Zack thought before passing out.

Donovyn woke up from the sleep he had fallen into to find himself in Quai's living room. He sat up and looked around, "Whe-oh, right, Quai's," he said, remembering where he was. He stood up and walked into the kitchen, where Quai was sitting at the table, sipping coffee. "Donovyn, you shouldn't be walking unassisted until tomorrow, remember?" Quai asked. "Yeah, I remember, but he did say it was mental fatigue, didn't he?" Quai nodded, "Then that temporary death on the couch should have been enough. Especially considering the fact I've been doing nothing but getting rest for quite some time." Quai thought about the statement Donovyn had just made. "alright, but we'll limit it to walking, okay? Don't try to duel." Donovyn nodded in agreement. "We'll hang around here for a while, okay? What was that?" He added quickly, hearing something outside.

A few minutes later: Zack got up "Ugh............ what happened?" Zack asked while getting off the ground, not remembering what happened within the last few minutes "All I remember is getting here via Duel Runner with Kimi..... off of Jake's helicopter.......". The helicopter landed, Jake was just watching what was happening "Wha?" Jake asked as he saw the symbol under Josep "What is THAT?! Iv'e seen it somewhere before..... I don't remember..... maybe..... just maybe......" "(In a dream I had a few nights ago......)"

"Humph....... you don't remember huh?" a voice said behind Zack. The voice turned out to be the mysterious man from the Organization. "It seems you're losing your faith.......... Zack..........." the man stated as he snapped his fingers. Just then, the setting faded away into an area of darkness. Nothing was there except for Zack and the mysterious man. "Well Zack......... you want to help Elliot regain his memories, correct?" the man asked while a duel disk appeared out of nowhere and onto his arm. "Then let us duel to determine that factor.......... What do you say Zack........... Interested?" the man asked calmly.

Lightning had struck one of the Obelisks near the two duelists, but neither were fazed by the attack. “All righty then…Jazeth….you are good, in fact, you’re almost equal to your father, but even then….you haven’t accomplished what he could do…..he managed to Summon Onaga in his full form, while you only have that cheap copy of his power……but….I don’t have enough power to release Saigo…… the last thing I will do…..” he looks at Zensaki who nods in agreement to what he will do. “Zensaki….attack Onaga and end the duel in his favor……..”

 

Zensaki raised his sword and pointed it at the behemoth, but then the shield shrunk until it only covered Zensaki, his Blade began to glow brightly. “This is Zensaki’s power……using my Spirit…we’ll make sure Onaga can never be summoned! Zensaki! Attack Onaga with the Seal!”

 

“Don’t you dare!” Jazeth yelled as he was about to deactivate his duel disk, in a flash, Josep appeared in front of him and clashed his sword against the Duel Blade. “You……how dare you!”

 

Onaga slammed his fist down but Zensaki had jumped on top of it and began running up his arm, it was a long way to go, but in order to make it he would have to stab him in the heart.

 

“DAD! DON’T DO IT! IF YOU USE THIS THEN…..” Kimi stopped herself as she knew it was already too late, she was crying again, but she knew that her father had a reason, especially if it was to protect her.

 

“Kimi……I’m sorry…I only do this to make sure that this beast won’t get you….or anyone else ever again,” he sees the tears rolling down her face and points towards Eva who is still nearby. “What you need to do is to take care of her right now….as for me…..this isn’t goodbye…….I just have a little trip I have to take right now…..take care…..” he turned his back on her as the seal appeared under him, the price for using the sealing spell on Onaga, would be his own soul.

 

“Take this you ugly son of a…….” were Zensaki’s words as he plunged his sword into Onaga’s chest, the small beacon began to glow as the seal appeared on his body. “well that’s it for me…..” he stated as he saw Onaga’s fist, a sight he embraced as he was destroyed by the attack (Josep’s LP: 0)

 

“Heh….Rei…take care of Zensaki…..and in the meantime…..I’m…just…..” the seal began sucking the giant demon as if it were a black hole itself, RAAAAWWAWWWWWRRRR! It bellowed as it disappeared. “Yeah…I’m just gonna….take a nap…….”

 

Josep’s Sword fell on the ground, and he began disintegrating quickly. The great beast did the same as the seal shrunk into obscurity. Leaving nothing but an empty sky.

 

“you……you think this is it….there is more then one way to release Onaga! And I will prove to you…that I am greater then my father!” he yelled as he saw Josep’s last facial expression. “yeah….sure…..whatever” he said with one last smile, leaving only his duel disk behind. “Fine then, I’ll make sure this can never be used again….” Jazeth exclaimed as he took the Zensaki card and put it in his own deck. He looked at Kimi “I’ll be back girl….and when I do, it will be your end……” he yelled as he swiped the ground and disappeared in a dark flash.

"Well, looks like we'll end up finding out, huh?" Quai said as he walked along to find out what it was. "Donovyn, you have to stay out of it. No matter what, unless its friendly." "Right, the last part kinda goes without saying, don't you think?" Donovyn asked. "Well, maybe." Quai responded as he was nearly knocked off his feet by a gust of wind. He turned around to see a heavily-muscled man, who stuck a large sword into the floor, wielding a disk and a deck. "Well, it seems that either you're here to kill us, or duel one of us. Well, Donovyn's out of commission at the moment, so you'll have to settle for me."

"YES!!!!! I'll start!" Zack yelled drawing his five cards then his sixth "I activate the Ritual Spell card! Ritual of the Stars! I discard these two Stardust monsters from my hand 'When the stars align a new shining star will be born! Ritual Summon! Come forth! Stardust Master!'" [lvl 8 Ritual ATK: 3500] 8 blue stars appeared in one of Zack's monster card zones, they aligned into a circle, then a bright white beam shot down inside them, then growing until it covered the 8 stars, then when the 8 stars and white beam faded, a warrior that looked like a Buster Blader but with white armor and a gold sword took their place "I end my turn with a face-down! I activate the effect of Stardust Wyvern in my Graveyard! I summon! Stardust Knight - Kokami!" [lvl 4 Non-Tuner ATK: 100] "Now by the effect of Kokami! I special summon! Stardust Knight - Konami! From my deck!" [lvl 4 Non-Tuner ATK: 2000]

You could have just said yes," Quai said as Donovyn sat down on the stairs, and both Quai and Gilford activated their disks and inserted their decks. "I think I'll start this show!" Quai said as he drew his cards. "That is fine with me, whomsoever you are, for you can not defeat a warrior." "The name is Quai, Quai Akaida. And I'm more of a warrior than you are, plus, you talk funny."

"Very well then my turn........." the mysterious man stated as he drew a card and looked at it closely. A dark aura then surrounded the two, signalling a shadow duel was taking place. "I'll summon my Twilight Barbarian in attack mode and then I'll activate the spell Twilight Seal. By decreasing my Twilight Barbarian's attack by 500, all of your spells, traps, and moster effects cannot be activated until the end of your next turn. Then I'll play Sacrafice to the Twilight. By reducing my monster's attack to zero and paying 500 LP, I can destroy both of your monsters, and since my Twilight Seal's effect is still in play, you can't do anything about it......... I end......." the man stated as he watched both monsters disappeared.

"I activate from my hand Twilight Assualt. Now by paying 500 LP, I can transfer the attack of one Twilight monster in my hand to one Twilight monster on my field. And the monster that I'm choosing to transfer the attack is my Twilight Goblin whose attack is 1600." the man stated as the Twilight Goblin card began to shine and a beam of dark energy fired at Twilight Barbarian. As Kakuno attacked, Twilight Barbarian lift up its sword and slashed Kakuno in half.

Kimi was in the center of where her father had dueled Jazeth, she was visibly upset, but she wasn't going to cry anymore. "Damn...he took Zensaki's card....Dad...I'm sorry...." she looked up and saw Eva, it had seemed that had Josep defeated Jazeth, the seal would have hit her chamber, and she would have gotten hurt. "Dad...even when your life is in danger you were thinking about others......" she looks at Eva's prison and places her hand on the ice, while it was faint she could still feel her heartbeat. "Eva-chan...I'll get you out of there...you have my word...."

"AAAH!" Zack's screaming could be heard on the Island "*Heavy breathing* I-I end my turn with a face-down......" "(This guy's good...... "Well, guess what?" Quai said, drawing his next card, looking at it, "You will regret not attacking me. He played the card he had just drawn. Another young man in shoddy armor, wielding a thinner blade, appeared next to the Assailant. "For you see, my D.D. Warrior has a very similar effect." The Warrior pointed his sword at the Goblins. "And although he has only 1200 ATK, he never goes down alone, as you're about to find out!" The Warrior lunged at the Goblins, who quickly pieced apart his armor, but he fatally wounded all of them before going down. His sword shattered, causing a dark ball of energy to surround him, and the Goblin Attack force. The Assailant then saluted his fallen comrade, and looked to Quai, who gave a semi-wicked smile, and nodded. The Assailant rushed at Gilford, "Now my Assailant will attack you," then the Assailant slashed his sword through Gilford.

"Fine, then we shall see what happens next." Gilford said, drawing his card. "I summon Marauding Captain in attack mode. And with his effect, I Special Summon my Exiled Force." The monsters appeared on the field. "My monsters rely not on cursed blades to do their work, and by sacrificing my Exiled Force, who rely on their skills and numbers, I can destroy your Assailant of the Dooms Day." the Exiled Force rushed and overtook the assailant, sending him to the Graveyard. "Then my Captain will attack your Life Points without hindrance." he said, as the slightly aged warrior struck at Quai's Life Points.

"Man.....these duels are hitting too close to home.....weren't these cards games supposed to be fun...isn't that what we came to this island for?" Kimi looked around herself, in her depression she didn't notice she was alone. "damn....it looks live I've been abandoned....well then...." she stands up and looks at her duel disk. "we can't really just let ourselves get caught up in our heads like last time, right?" a small pink flash glows as if agreeing with her. "then we have to get Zensaki back...and then we have to learn about these guys.....we're all just entering a bunch of duels.....if they keep attacking us like this, of course we'll eventually die..."

 

Soon after saying that she heard Zack's screams. "Crap....speak of the unneeded devil...." she ran towards the direction of the scream. "This is what happens when we all split up!"

"Alright then," Quai said, drawing one card. "I'll set one monster on the field, and play the spell card Reinforcement of the Army, and call forth the monster Chaosrider Gustaph! And then he'll attack your Marauding Captain!" he said, as a large goblin on a motorcycle, wielding a spear appeared on the field, attacking the Marauding Captain.

"fine then, my draw!" Gilford said as he took a card from his deck and added it to his hand. "I Set one monster on the field, and that will end my turn." he said.

"Very well then..... my turn........" the man responded as he drew a card and placed it in his hand. I'll activate Heavy Storm to destroy your two face-downs, and then I'll activate my field spell, The Realm of Twilight...... Gaze upon the never-ending darkness and tremble as your worst fears become reality........" the man proclaimed as the setting changed into a swirling void of darkness. Then out of nowhere, an army of shadow creatures appeared, roaring at Zack in hunger. "My minions are getting hungry for your soul......... I'll sacrafice my Barbarian to summon my Twilight Archfiend Dragon........" A huge red dragon appeared from the vortex and roared in anger. "Now attack him directly......." the man stated as the huge dragon send a swirling ball of darkness towards Zack.

"AAAAAH!" Zack screamed "*Heavy breathing* When you activated Heavy Storm, I activated Magic Drain! Any cards to discard?" Zack asked "(Should I surrender? No, that wouldn't be me..... I..... need....... to....... WIN!)" Zack thought as his aura changed color again, from normal to blue and white with stardust falling off it...... "(I feel stronger...... I WILL WIN!)" Zack thought, the power he was releasing causing tremors back on the island *Rumble rumble* "I WILL WIN THIS!!!!!!" Zack yelled "I guess you have nothing to discard! I activate my trap! Stardust Revival.... when I take direct damage, I get to special summon one Stardust monster from my graveyard ignoring its summoning conditions! Meet Stardust Master! Oh ya, your turn is automatically ended. So my draw. I activate the effect of Kakuno in my graveyard. I summon Stardust Knight - Konami..... oh ya, since I activated the effect of Stardust Revival, I have to skip my battle phase, so I end my turn."

"That makes it my turn again." he said, picking up one card, "I Summon Dimensional Alchemist!" he said as the monster appeared on his field next to Gustaph. "Now, my Gustaph will attack your face-down!" he said, as the goblin sped toward Gilfords defense monster, destroying it. "Now, I activate my Alchemist's effect, and discard the top card from my deck, and give him an extra 500 ATK!" he said, as he discarded a card from his deck, shooting his Alchemist's ATK up to 1800. "And now, he'll attack you directly!" he said, as the Alchemist formed a dark sphere, and fired it at Gilford.

"I draw!" Gilford said, doing so, "And I play Heavy Storm, destroying both of your face-downs. Now I play my Reinforcement of the Army, and move my Gearfried the Iron Knight, and Summon him to the field!" he said, followed by the appearance of a man in heavy iron armor on his field. "Now, he'll attack your Alchemist!" Gilford shouted, followed by the launch of an attack on the Alchemist, who's attack had dropped to 1300.
