Zack's anger grew "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Zack screamed in anger, causing the ground to shake and for pieces of earth to fly into the sky *rumble ruble* "Huh? I thought only psychic people could do that....... weird......." Zack said scratching the back of his head "I wonder of psychic abilities run through families like genetics, skipping one generation every time...... because my grandmother was psychic HAHAHA!" Zack laughed scratching the back of his head Then realizing what Axel just said, Zack grabbed him by the collar and lifted him up "That might be your way of power, but ours is more powerful, friends, bonds, they are the source of true power." Zack said still holding onto him with a more fierce grip.

She saw the Drone, she saw Zack back to normal, with a couple of rocks in his hair, she saw Axel in his usual moody self. and she saw Dan holding on to her....most noticeably he was grabbing her chest. "Gah....wha wha wha what the hell are you doing DAN!!!!!!!" She said as she punched him in the mouth. "Geez, I fall asleep and you guys take advantage of me? geez...I should just kill you all......" she seemed to have no recollection of what had happened, and in fact it was as if she didn't even know Elliot was gone, losing her psychic state had messed with her memory.

Axel looks Zack right in the face eyes glowing. "And were does that power come from, I'll tell you the individual parts, If you have ten monster that have 100 ATK then their weaker than one monster with 2000 ATK, unless YOU become stronger then even with all your cards helping you you won't be able to accomplish anything so before you get mad at me examine how weak you really are." Axel grabbed Zack's hand and pulled him off of him. "Until you realize your own weakness then you can't save anyone." Axel began walking away again.

Dan watched everything returned to normal and gave a sigh of relief. "{Sigh} Boy, glad that's over with......" Dan then looked down at Kimi and noticed that she was awake. "Hey you're awake!" Dan said happily. He then noticed that he was grabbing her chest. "Uh.........." Kimi punched him in the face with pretty good force. "{Muffled Scream} AHH!!! Kimi, you hit really hard........ Sorry about that, I didn't noticed. I was just trying my best to keep you from getting into the duel and end up hurting yourself." Dan explained.

"I have thought about it......... I was like you before........ strong even without friends........ then I made some............. it made me stronger by having friends............ friends are the source of true power......... losing friends might make me angry......... but it makes me stronger knowing that I'll get them back even if it costs me my life, that's what keeps me going. You can be stronger as well if you were to believe in this power as well." Zack said now leaving him alone, then he turned to Kimi "You don't remember anything?" Zack asked.

"Zack I'm not saying that strength doesn't come from your friends and bonds BUT if you aren't strong enough then your just a burden. Your strength doesn't come from bonds YOU rely on others YOU don't use your own heart or your bonds for strength YOU rely on their strength to fight for you and you wont be able to save anyone unless you learn how to fight with your own strength." Axel begins walking again and vanishes into the darkness.

"All I know is that Dan was fondling me......and I'm not gonna stand for that....no matter who it is...." she stands up and dusts her clothes off. "what's been going on? and why am I all dirty? jeez...I'm never falling unconscious anywhere near you guys....." she looks at Axel and Zack. "So what is with you guys? where is Elli-kun?" it seemed she really didn't know what had happened, but far away, Josep knew this would be for the best for now. "my turn to show up I guess.....let's see how much more they need...."

"Ugh, sorry Kimi, it was an accident. It'll never happen again, promise." Dan explained to Kimi. "Umm, will you excuse me and Zack for a moment?" Dan asked as he grabbed Zack and went the other direction. "Zack, what sould we do? Should we tell her about Elliot?" Dan whispered to Zack. "I don't know if it's good to keep secrets or not, but........ Well Zack, whataya think?" Dan whispered again.

In the dark alleys of Neo Domino City, a bright shine can be seen coming from the dark alleyways. A man can be seen standing over a body with the man's top portion of his head covered in shadows. "..............."

"Geez, I shouldn't of dueled him that one time if I knew he'd become THAT geez, what an idiot..... I'm not saying that all my strength comes from friends....... just most." Zack said then hearing what Dan said "..... I hate to say it but... we have to tell her.... I'l do it." Zack then walked up to Kimi "Elliot's gone to the shadow realm....... he was tricked by darkness." Zack said "(I hope she doesn't burst into tears again by explaining about Elliot..........)" Zack thought while pulling out Brionac and whispering to it "Elliot can you hear me? It's Zack........... please tell me that you're ok......" Zack whispered trying to keep anyone else from hearing.

As Zack explained to Kimi what happened, Dan went over to help. "Don't worry Kimi, Elliot's gonna be back very soon. It's a promise!" Dan said. "What we should do is just go on with our lives and prepare for anything bad that might happen later in the future. We gotta be strong, together we can do anything!" Dan exclaimed confidently.

The dark void in which Elliot was at appeared empty. A faint light could be seen from above the darkness.

In Neo Domino City, the man carried what appeared to be a young boy with blonde hair on his back. Due to the darkness, both of their faces were hidden. "I guess I've succeeded........ This time.........." the mysterious man said while he was continuing to walk through the streets of Neo Domino City.

Donovyn woke up alone in his room. He was barely able to move, and couldn't even turn over in his bed, though he could turn his head. He saw a note on top of his duel disk, which he was curious about, but couldn't lift his arm to reach. "Zack. Did you put that there?" he asked, knowing Zack was nowhere within earshot. He closed his eyes, and tried to think of how he could have ended up where he was, how he was. He remembered having a duel, against a cheating opponent, but he couldn't remember who it was.

Zach smiled at his cards as he drew. "ok im going easy on you and now i put down one card and i end my turn, dont worry i wont use Ordeal of a traveler, hehehehehehehe." Zach giggled as the Shadow Zach was making his draw face. "damn, ok then, The King of the Dead, destroy that Archfiend Soldier. HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!" "sorry, but you activated my Magic Cylinder. you lose 4500 lifepoint so you only have 200 left."

Zack put the card back where he put it "(The card usually shakes when he's there, he's probably in the city, better check it out.)" Zack thought "Guys, gotta go to my dorm, be right back." Zack said before running in the direction of the GIRLS dorm "OOPS! Wrong way!" Zack yelled as he went in the proper direction this time "Ok, better get to work." Zack said as he logged onto the computer "Pays to be in Obelisk Blue, then I get the fastest net." Zack said with a smile "Ok, on. Pays to be related to champions....... especially if your grandfather was the best Turbo Duelist." Zack said as he typed in instant message to the agent of his grandfather, it read: 'Hey Jake it's Zack, I need a chopper here on Duel Academy Island, that ok?' in no time flat, the agent responded 'Ok, anything for the grandson of our once best Turbo Duelist. Why do you need it?' 'A friend is missing.... he was in the shadow realm, I have a feeling he's out..... but first..... I have people to visit..... I need one here ASAP.' Zack responded 'Ok, it'll be there in 10 minutes, that good?' Jake asked 'Perfect, I'll be at the main building at three o-clock, see you there.' after that, Zack logged off the computer and ran outside, he needed to inform his friends about what he was about to do "Guys, I'm going to the city for........ family purposes." after that Zack ran to the main building. 10 minutes later: The chopper arrived, Zack hopped on and flew to the city.

"Family purposes? and what's with the helicopter...he's really nothing like any of his ancestors....." she stated, trying to keep her mind off of the fact that Elliot was gone, but did Zack really have to tell her? she was better off not knowing. as everyone went their separate ways Kimi looked at where the Drone was standing. "Why...why was I so worried over Elliot, more then anyone else?"

 

"Your just like your mother...she didn't like being honest to herself either." from behind Kimi Josep stood, his cloak down and his smile mimicking hers. "you've been through one hell of a ride here at school huh?"

 

"Dad? wha what are you doing here?" she was surprised to say the least, that the former world champion really would be dealing with the attacks at the academy. "Daddy...you really don't trust in our abilities?"

 

"Of course I do...sure, I think Donovyn is too secluded, Axel is too brooding, Dan is too overactive, Zack is too full of himself, Michico is too needy, Eva is too temperamental, and Elliot is too quiet, but hey, that's how people are, especially the right people for this sort of crazy job, I'm here to make sure if and only if you fail, that this Darkness does not spread, but I know you can."

 

"How can you be so sure dad? I mean...we've had so much trouble...and I can't help everyone, I can't even control my own power...how can you have faith in me when I don't?" she asked as she looked down.

 

"Simple, cause your you. Kimi, no person that ever saved the world has ever been 100% sure they could do it, there has always been doubts, but it's those doubts that push us, they push us to overcome them at the last moment...and I know you can....now then, about your powers...well I can't help you with those, but I can lessen their impact...."

 

Kimi was uplifted, she looked up towards her father and smiled. "Right! let's go!"

 

but before they left. "One last thing, about this Elliot kid...he'll have to beat me in a duel before he can even dream of asking you out, got it?"

Quai walked into Donovyn's room, and found him out like a light. "What happened here?" he asked, seeing the note left on his Duel Disk. He read the note, and was surprised by what he'd read. "Backhanding? Interesting choice. I always got woken up with a bucket of ice water." he said. "What exactly happened though?" He looked back over to the sleeping Donovyn. It was then that Donovyn woke up, he tried to sit up, and managed to succeed, albeit with some difficulty. "Well, at least I can move now." Donovyn said to himself, Quai hearing. "So, what exactly happened to you?" he asked. "I-I'm not entirely sure." "You aren't surprised to see me?" "Not enough energy at the moment. What's the note say?" "'Hey Donovyn, hope you're fine, and sorry for backhanding you..... it was the only way to wake you up. From: Zack.' So, who's Zack?" "So, I got backhanded. I'll have to return the favor at some point." Quai laughed.

After Zack got onto his helicopter and left, Dan was a little bit skeptical about Zack's reasons for going to Neo Domino. "(Hmm, is Zack trying to hide something? If he is, it better be for a good cause.......)" Dan thought to himself as he turned his attention to a man's voice he heard talking to Kimi. To his surprise, the voice Dan heard was from Josep Zavara, a man who Dan had always looked up to. Dan was amazed that he knew the daughter of a champion duelist. "Wow! Kimi! You'd never told me that your old man is THE Josep Zavara! Mr. Zavara, I'm a huge fan of yours! Can I get an autograph?!" Dan exclaimed as he pulled out a pen and a notepad entitled 'Duelists I Look Up To'.

In a familiar house in a dark bedroom, Elliot laid in a bed unconcious. At the front door, Elliot's parents and a man with the top portion of his face covered was talking. "Are you sure you don't want to talk to him?" Elliot's dad asked the man. "No, that won't be neccessary......... If he doesn't want to go back, then let him stay......... It's for the better........" the man replied. "Alright then, thank you." Elliot's mom said. "It's the least I can do........" the man replied as he walked off into the streets and then disappeared into the thick fog. "I hope Elliot's okay." Elliot's mom said worryingly. "Don't worry honey, everything's gonna be just fine." Elliot's dad replied as he closed the door.

Zach could Feel Shadow Zach's pain and fear, "My turn, now lets see here......... AH! ok then, TIME TO FINISH YOU OFF! i activate Just Desserts, its effect is inflict 500 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points for each monster on your opponent's side of the field so pretty much you lost 1000 lifepoints, and thats over what you lost so i win this duel. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!" Shadow Zach gasped and has a frozen face that was in fear. after that, he disappeared in a black fog. (wow he was easy, i didnt even break a sweat.) "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! MY ARM!!!!!!!!!" Zach fell on the floor and sprained his ankle.

"Hey Jake, do me a favor and go to my grandparent's place please.... I have a question for them." Zack explained "Sure thing Zacky." "Don't call me that." "Fine.....". A few minutes later: *Ding dong* a old man answered the door "Oh well-well-well, if it isn't the fifth generation of the Fudo's, Zack. How-ya doing?" "Fine, you?" Zack replied "Good. What're you doing here anyway?" Yusei asked "Well, at the Academy...... seems like I'm psychic....." "Well would you look at that, that's a surprise, oh, here's a birthday present for ya. Forgot to mail it to ya." Yusei said handing Zack a card "T-this is grandma's card!" Zack exclaimed "Yep, she wanted you to have it." "Wow, thanks grandpa, tell grandma I said hi." Zack yelled running back to the chopper "Sure thing Zack, sure thing." Zack hopped on the chopper and realized he forgot to ask the question....

"(Where am I.............. Who am I.............. Wait............ My name............ My name is Elliot.......... Elliot Rune.............. Why do I hear these voices.......... Why do I hear these names............ Zack....... Kimi......... Donovyn......... Zach......... Dan.......... Axel.......... Who are they............. I feel........... different.........)" Elliot then suddenly woke up, his face appears anxious, like he has just been through a nightmare. "{Panting}" Elliot then looked around and noticed that he was in his room. Elliot felt a huge headache so he placed his hand on his forehead and tried to calm himself down. "Ugh............. I feel like I've been hit in the head with a baseball bat........ Man, what happened.........." Elliot asked himself. He then stood up and went downstairs. His mom and dad were watching TV with his little sister. "Mom.... Dad.... Felicity.... What happened?" Elliot asked with his head still hurting. His parents and his little sister rushed over. "Are you alright Elliot?" his dad asked concerningly. "Yeah, I'm fine....... How long was I asleep?" Elliot asked. "About a day." his mom answered. "A day?! What happened to me?" Elliot asked.

 

"Well, you got hit in the head really hard." Elliot's dad replied. "Probably, I can't remember anything......." Elliot responded. "Well you should rest a lttle." Elliot's mom said. "Alright then, I'll go back up to my room....." Elliot proclaimed as he walked up the stairs and into his room. He turned on the lights and check his attire. "What the?! I must've been hit by something sharp too, cause my clothes are all torned. Aw man, my favorite jacket! Let's see what we can find in the closet." Elliot opened up his closet and picked out some new clothing. "Alright, these I'll do." Elliot said as he put on his new clothes. He then saw his pair of boots were also destroyed and next to them is a shoe box. "Gah! Great, now my boots are destroyed." Elliot opened up the box to reveal a pair of sneakers. "Hmm, not bad. Actually I might like these better than the boots." Elliot said as he put them on. "Alright, I'm all set!"

"How long have we been flying?" Zack asked Jake drowsy "I don't know *YAWN* about a day, are you sure you don't want to land?" Jake asked Zack "I'm sure, set it to autopilot, we need to get some rest." Zack said "Sure thing, we should only need about an hour...... I don't know why." Jake explained while directing Zack to the beds inside the plane "How big IS this plane?" Zack asked Jake "Pretty big, but doesn't take much fuel, we're still on full, now get some rest." "Sure thing." Zack said before falling asleep on the bed.

Zack got out of the bed and went up to the cockpit, to find Jake "Jake, I need to buy some cards.... mind stopping at the card shop." "Sure Zack but are you sure because-" Jake got interrupted "Yes I'm sure, why?" Zack asked "Oh nothing." Jake responded, trying to keep Zack from seeing his face...... because he was a terrible liar "(I hope he hasn't forgotten that he's famous for having a direct bloodline to Yusei......)" Jake thought as they landed, Zack walked out and realized that people were staring at him "(Oh man, I forgot I'm famous for having a direct bloodline to grandpa.....)" Zack thought, quickly running into the card shop before a mob came running after him, the card shop keeper was surprised to see him "M-mr. Fudo, everyone in Neo Domino thought you were in Duel Academy." "I was, I'm here for a reason." Zack explained "Now, which way is your bathroom? I need to hide before the mob busts your doors down." Zack explained while a mob was banging on the door screaming "Zacky!!! Where are you???" "Zacky, can I get your autograph and a date please???" "We love you Zack!!!!!" "Over there." the shop keeper said pointing in a direction "Thanks, cover for me." Zack said quickly running in the direction of the bathroom, everyone behind the doors quickly entered "Where is he?!" one of the girls asked "You just missed him, he went through the back door." "Quickly! Get him before he gets away!" the same girl yelled, then everyone quickly ran through the back door. After Zack heard that everyone was gone he walked out "Thanks." "No prob, just look around, find something you like." "Sure." Zack said before looking around.

Elliot then reached for his deck case that he always keep under his bed. "Alright, here you are." Elliot said as he placed his deck onto his bed. Elliot then opened the box, and to his surprise, Elliot's deck was missing. "What the?! Where's my deck?!" Elliot asked as he comically try to search above and under the box. "Don't tell me my deck vanished into thin air?! No! This can't happen!!!" Elliot then rushed downstairs. "Mom! Dad! Felicity! My deck's missing!!!" Elliot exclaimed. "Huh, oh yeah, about your deck. During the inccident, your deck was destroyed by a huge fire." Elliot's dad explained. "Wha-wha-what?! How could this happen (Man, what kind of inccident was I in anyways?!)?!" Elliot thought to himself.

 

"Well, if it helps, here's some money to go buy a new deck." his dad replied as he held out a clip of money. "{Sigh} I do need a deck anyways, so might as well buy one......." Elliot said as he took the money and went out. "Hey bro, do you mind if I come with?" Felicity asked. "Oh, sure, why not." Elliot replied. As they made their way to the card shop, Felicity was looking at her Naturia Deck. "Hmm, hey Felicity, where did you get that?" Elliot asked curiously. "Umm well, Mom and Dad bought it for me of course." Felicity responded. "Okay then here we are. Huh?" Elliot saw a huge crowd in front of the store. A whole bunch of girls where screaming. "Zacky!!! Where are you???" "Zacky, can I get your autograph and a date please???" "We love you Zack!!!!!" Elliot was surprised and kind of creeped out at the same time. "Wow, these fan girls sure are something, hehe." Elliot proclaimed as he scratched the back of his head.

 

Elliot and Felicity was able to squeeze into the store. Just then the crowd behind them went away. "Whew....... Man were those fan girls vicious......" Elliot said to himself. "Alright Felicity, you can look around but do bother anybody alright?" Elliot asked. "Alright, don't worry Bro!" Felicity answered as she ran into the cute cards section. Elliot then started to look at different decks. "Hmm, I wonder what to choose?" Elliot asked himself.

"Phew...... glad I lost those girls they're vicious..." Zack said walking in plain sight of Elliot, Zack couldn't recognize him because of his new look "*Gasp*!!! Oh no! More fans! Just my luck for being related to Yusei Fudo......." Zack said out loud, then he recognized Elliot's face "*Gasp*!!! Elliot?! Elliot!? Is that you!?" Zack yelled running up to him "I've kept your deck safe for you....." Zack said pulling it out of his pocket then Brionac out of his deck, he handed them to Elliot "This is where you were...... I forgot I was famous......" Zack said scratching the back of his head.

As Elliot was searching through the decks, Zack ran up to Elliot and handed him the Ice Barrier deck. Elliot was completely confused and creeped out. "Uh....... Who the heck are you?!" Elliot asked confusely as he handed the deck back to Zack. "Look man, I don't know you, and I don't want any trouble so just leave me alone." Elliot said as he backed off. "And I don't know how you know my name, but if you come any closer, I'm gonna have to use force." Elliot added as he was pretending to perform karate moves. "I'm deadly as a Armed Dragon LVL 7 so don't try anything funny, got it?" Elliot exclaimed as he backed away more.

It seemed that the shadows had disappeared for a while. and her father decided it would be best to train with the most powerful psychic duelist of all time, hopefully she would train her in the first place, even if Josep would have to duel her. but not only that, Josep needed to teach Kimi how to use a duel runner, and the stadium in new Domino would be best. But for now Kimi was just gonna buy herself some new clothes, but while in the area she noticed a huge crowd, all of them girls (and a few guys) begging to go out with Zack. "oh for the love of hell.....don't tell me....." she tried to avoid seeing him, she wasn't really in the mood for Zackness right now, then she saw someone in the crowd that looked like Elliot. "huh? Elli-kun?"
