"Damn...not only did he lose.....why do I sense....hmm, this duel was tampered with, and I don't even know who did it.....to top things off it seems that the Dean failed....damn it." he looks at Zack. "someone wanted me to kill you....and unless someone can actually stop your disintegration, then it looks like you just may." he stands along the other monsters and does what he can to keep him stable. "in my attempt to protect you...I was used as a tool to kill you...."

[The Dragon Duelist]

He seemed to have his deck in tact and seemed to wake up for a moment. "I... couldn't find.. the sorce..." He muttered before he blacked out again. He began to snore obviously exauhsted from what he tried to do.

Elliot stopped his duel disk and ran over to Zack and Josep. "Zack! Are you okay?" Elliot then noticed Zack was missing half of his body. "Zack! How did this happen?! Josep, what happened to Zack?!" Elliot said as he stared at Zack. "Is there any way to help him?!" Elliot asked as he looked over to the dean. "(No, not the dean too. What's happening with this place?! Ugh........ I feel a dark energy coming from that black cloud.......)" Elliot thought to himself as he looked back at Zack.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

"Yami eh?" Dan said curiously. "Well, it seems like this fog is never ending." Dan said as he began following Donovyn. "Well Kaiba, why do you even want to get to the center for anyways?" Dan asked confusely. "Shouldn't we just try to get out of this fog?" Dan said as he continues walking.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

"Humph........... Fool......... He really thinks he can beat us......... It seems the others are finally beginning to fall into our trap, our plan is working out perfectly............." proclaimed a mysterious black silhouette.

"UGH! I-I guess you didn't learn about it yet......... it was in Jazeth's homework assignment...... a Shadow Duel......... Josep had it so it wouldn't kill us...... only give us REAL damage........... but it seems that someone tampered with it, but I wonder how." Zack said answering Eliot's question, then turning what was left of his head to Josep "Who would want to kill me? Someone who's scared of me?" Zack asked Josep "Somehow.............. I think it has something to do with Jazeth...."

[Aqua Girl]

"Well..." The boy said, He jumped in to the Air and punched the Shadow duel Berrior, he expoded inorange energy his eyes glowing Orange them selves, "Hellp would be apritiated Yuu! I dont want to see him Die!"

 

Sudenly Yubel 's Image apered and The boy's left eye Turned green, then he exploded in energy of bolth green and Orange. On the inside of the dome a crack of light appered, suddenly the Dome Cracked and shattered, Forcibly Ending the Shadow duel.

 

(All this could not be seen by normal eyes, this is to heal you of your Shadow Sickness))

 

"Sensei Your always to rough, HaHa!" Knii said with a smile like Judai.

"In order, to find out whats causing it, and maybe even stop it. Ordinarily, yes, but if this fog expands over the entire duel academy, we'll end up having to find the center anyway. It'll be easier and faster to do it now, while its relatively small." he said, having regained his usual composure. He kept walking, hoping he was going in the right direction. "Do you have any tracking experience, other than dressing like the person you're looking for and hoping you get lucky? We need to know if we're heading in the right direction." he said to Dan.

Zack closed his EYE and waited...... he didn't know what he was waiting for, for him to be gone, or for Kimi or Michico to hurry up "Heh... strangely.... there is only ONE way to stop this.......... for a GIRL weirdly, that I completely trust to come and grab my sword and put it in my hand, the sword is a Duel Monster Spirit with enough power to both stop the desintagration AND restore my body....... weird how only me and a GIRL I completely trust can wield THAT sword." "Also if you put it like that, then even if we do find the center, when later we go out of the center, we'll have to find our way back......... This is really annoying." said Dan. "Maybe we should follow our ears or nose." Dan suggested.

"Hurry! Somethings happened Eva yelped, Gramming Kimi by the hand and Running at full speen, as they reached the spot where evry one was, Eva Frightened turned and grabed

"Huh, Kimi, you're here? And who are you?" Elliot asked confusely. "(Looks like that little girl can also see duel spirits......)" Elliot thought to himself as he stood up. "Kimi, I don't know what's going on here, but you might. Looks like your father was tricked into killing Zack in a shadow duel. Things are looking really bad........." Elliot said as he stared at Zack. "(Damn it! I'm probably the worst friend ever! I should've stopped the duel while I can!)" Elliot thought to himself as he blankely stared at Zack.

Zack saw the look in Eliot's eyes "Eliot...... I know what your thinking........ or should I say I have a IDEA of what your thinking, correct me if I'm wrong, but.... let me guess, you think this is YOUR fault right? Well your wrong... It's mine..... I got hot-headed and challenged Josep to a duel............. but then he turned it into a Shadow Duel, but tried to make sure that only the damage was real, but then someone tampered with it, and made it so that one of us would die.... and somehow.... I think they knew that I would lose..................... so they wanted ME dead.... it COULD be because their scared of me................. which would mean there're cowards and wont face me........."

"gaahh! Zack! oh my god, what happened!" she didn't really ask as she wondered why no one had done anything yet. "What is going on here?!"

 

Josep in his youthful appearance wouldn't be recognizable to Kimi, so he turned as he looked at Anii, who he knew had helped them in a way, with the barrier broken, Zack would have a few more minutes. with his cloak back on and his face covered he looked at Kimi. "This is what happens when you lose a Shadow game, make sure you don't lose girl...." with that he took out his sword and swiped the ground, with a large flash, he was gone.

 

"Zack!" Kimi looked around, there had to be something she could do, She was in such a panicked state she didn't hear the word Father at all, she didn't even know who the man in the cloak was.and on the ground she saw his Sword. "here take this...this is special to you isn't it? just hold on Zack...keep holding on to your sword, remind yourself your alive..." she herself did not know that the sword itself would help.

"It only took you how long to figure out its hard to know where you've been when you're in a place that will only let you see two feet in front of your face?" he said, as he kept walking. "Or, maybe a little bit further." he said, vaguely making out the outlines of three tall pillars. "Why does nothing make any sense, at all, anymore?" he asked to the atmosphere. "Something tells me that this will not go well." he said, walking toward them, inserting his deck into his duel disk, without activating it.

"Yeah..... you're right Zack...... I do think it's my fault....... I wasn't able to do anything.........." Elliot said as he continued to stare blankly at Zack. Elliot then directed his eyes towards Josep. "Josep, do you think there's any way to save Zack? If there is please do it." Elliot said.

"Hey Kaiba, I'm really tired of your attitude man! I mean sheesh, can't you be less, well, Seto Kaiba-ish?!" Dan exclaimed. As he walked towards Donovyn, he could see the faint outline of three pillars. "What the? Is it just me or do you also see the outlines of three giant pillars?" Dan asked as he walked towards Donovyn's position.

After Kimi handed Zack his sword, his body started to reproduce, when Kimi had her back turned, Zack got up and did the 'Shhhh' motion to everyone else, and touched her shoulder and said "Thanks Kimi :)" after that he spun her around and gave her a 'Thank you' hug "Thanks..... I wouldn't of survived if it wasn't for you..............................................................................." Zack said.

"KYYYYAAAA!" She yelped as the hug scared her, she turned around and accidently punched Zack in the gut. "what is wrong with you! you nearly gave me a heart attack......" she finally manages to calm down. "but at least you're alive....." she sighs as she looks at Elliot "Elli-kun...what are you talkin about Josep...I don't see my dad anywhere....besides iif he were to find out about what's going on in the island, he'd take me out of here for sure...."

"Well thats a cheep move Yuu" Anii Said, he walked over to the Ailing boy,

"I'm Eva frost me and Kimi are Room mates ^_^"

Zack said as he collapsed he dropped the sword and his body started to desintagrate again "............................................................................................... Not again......... Kimi.......... your the only one who can wield my sword right now, so please mind helping?" "I need to hold onto the sword for a while before my body is completely stable........" Zack explained. "Oh......... I know him because I'm a descendant of him............ and I have this." Zack showed Elemental Hero Neos.

Elliot there stared at where Josep used to be and saw no one there. "(Huh, where did he go......)" Elliot thought to himself. He then turned back to Kimi. "Ahaha, I could've sworn I saw him earlier." Elliot said jokingly. He then look to Zack. "Well, I'm glad you're okay Zack, but how's that punch from Kimi, hehe." Elliot said jokingly and relieved at what happened. Elliot saw that Zack fell to the ground and his body disinergrated again. "Gah! Zack, your body!" exclaimed Elliot. After Zack explained, Elliot once again was relieved. Elliot then turned to Eva. "Haha, WELL IT'S NICE TO MEET YOU EVA!" Elliot said with a friendly smile as he held his hand out awaiting a handshake.

"eh...uh sorry." she picked up the sword and placed it in his hand. "also...have you met Eva-chan yet? she's trying really hard to talk to you guys...just cause she's little doesn't mean she should be overlooked ya meanies!" she went behind Eva and placed some bunny ears on her, where she got them from, who knows? but it made her look adorable. "You have to speak louder too Eva-chan." she advised (almost literally, try to make your text really noticeable for cases like that)

"You mean This?" Anii Said as his eyes glowed yellow and Green, he showed His elimental Hero Neos, Suddenly The physical manefestation of neos apered and proclamed himself, "Gahhh Grandpa was a hound dog in his older years HaHa! Yuu just told me Grandpa/s Secret!"

 

Eva Blushed, and looked at the others, "h-hi I'm eva......" She said shyly, she then dashed behind Mobius.

"Well, could you be less Joey Wheeler-ish" Donovyn asked Dan in return. He walked toward the pillars. "and yes, I can see them" he concluded, in the same manner. He brushed the hair out of his face, which had been there for a few minutes. "I do believe that those are our destination," he said after several seconds. He activated his duel disk, and when he reached the pillars, he stood still. "(I wonder what's going to happen now)" he thought, a solemn look on his face.

Zack got up "Thanks..... sorry I scared ya." Zack said scratching the back of his head "I bet your wondering how that happened...... well........ your father was here for a visit, but he got more then he expected, the Dean went to stop this 'War' that he talked about, so before he left he put your father in charge....... he called me an idiot for a reason that I don't need to say right now, I got hot-headed and I challenged him to a duel, he turned it into a shadow duel, and he got younger and younger, thats how you never recognized him, and then someone tampered with the duel, and then that happened to me, that about covers it right?"

Kimi went from confused...to ridiculously confused. "What in the name of hell? my dad was here? and that means....oh god...."did he tell Elliot, Zack and Donovyn what I think about them...one of those would be really bad.....really really bad...." she thought trying to confuse herself so she would forget the ordeal. "Eva...I think we should go WAY over there....where I can never see anybody ever again...." she said with a slightly loony laugh.

Elliot saw Eva ran and hide behind Mobius, so Elliot went over and reassured her. "Hehe, c'mon Eva there's nothing to be shy about." Elliot said with a friendly smile as he kneel down towards Eva's height. "Wow, so you can see duel spirits huh? That's really cool! Plus your duel spirit Mobius is really strong! I'm kinda jealous actually." Elliot said as he stared at Eva with a friendly smile.

"(Humph, this guy's really asking for it!)" Dan thought to himself as he crossed his arms and looked to the other direction angrily. He then noticed Dan activating his duel disk. "Huh, what are you doing activating your duel disk? Are you expecting someone?" Dan asked curiously.
