"It was really a practice duel." Zack said "(NOOOOT! It was never brodcasted! and he would NEVER tell anyone he lost.)" Zack thought with a smirk "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Gotcha! HAHAHA!" Zack laughed "you should of seen the look on your face! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Zack couldn't stop laughing at the (fake) joke. "To good. TO good! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Zack continued to laugh.

[meanwhile all the way back in Josep's office]

 

"aaahhhhhhhhhccchhhhooooo!! man....why do I feel like I've been insulted? He stands up and looks at the window, He's grown alot from his days in Duel academy, and hearing his daughter was having a good time made him smile, but for some reason he was just a little peeved off, he looked at his special wall, not of people that he's defeated, but of those that had defeated him, those duelists that he felt could grow to their true potential, on the wall was his own daughter, whom managed to surprise him with a Magic Cylinder, and another of a boy named Zack Fudo, who managed to defeat him in an exhibition duel. "man that kid was cocky...but he was cheery.....hmm, if I'm right, he would be at the academy.....I wonder how he's doing?"

 

 

"My dad never played Practice Duels, and he was never prideful, if he lost to you he would say so...." she looked back at Xander. "Xan-kun? you done yet? I can't make my turn until you end..." she was a little noticeably angry with Zack.

Zach tried to find his homeroom when he heard screaming inside Elliot's room. "wow Elliot, are you ok? you dont seem like yourself." Zach was at Elliot's side seeing what he was doing. "oh homework? well lets see here." Zach scanned the paper trying to figure out the answer. ".....oh man this is a tough one.

[Sander]

"Oh, I'm sorry, I was distracted by that kid over there. Yeah, I was about to tell him to shut up too!" he said with a loud voice, "Hey kid, you heard that or what?" he asked with a laughing voice, "Oh, and yeah Kimi, I end my turn." he said.

Donovyn woke up around 6, and fulfilled his usual ritual of checking his Deck. He looked at his schedule, and smiled. "How did I end up with first period free?" he asked himself. "Well, may as well enjoy it." he said. He went to get his breakfast, and took his time eating it. After he had finished he thought through the duel he had with Zack. "Next time, Zack, I will be expecting you to play that trap." When the bell rang, he went through his day. He was walking around, too check up on Elliot. Just a whim of his, really. He overheard Elliot talking to himself about his homework. "Seto had lost a duel to Yugi before the Duelist Kingdom tournament began, and dropped out of the tournament prior to it because of the loss. That duel ended with Yugi drawing all five pieces of Exodia, and Seto spent most of the duelist Kingdom trying to figure out how he'd managed to lose to Yugi, as well as working on the prototype of the Duel Disk." he said as if a history teacher.

"I feel like I'm in troooouuuuble." Zack said, then he laughed "HAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! It was seriously a funny one! But I'm not lying about my other nickname being 'King of the Stars'." Zack said with a smirk "(I wonder how my old friend's doing.)" Zack thought "HAHAHAHAHA! I-HAHA-can't-HAHA! Stop-HAHA! Laughing-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Zack said while laughing "(I wonder if he's still P.O'd at me for beating him in a Pro duel for second place.)" Zack thought.

"Yep, this is a tough question..... By the way Zach you wanna go grab some lunch? I'm really stressed out and I need something to eat..... Oh yeah, how's your homework coming along?" Elliot then stood up again and open up the front door. "{Sigh} I'm useless..... I can't help no one, everybody's just been helping me all this time." Elliot then sat down on the stairs, and started to cry funnily while holding up his fist. "No! I can't give up like that! I have to do something rational! I'll go catch some fish and cook for everybody! Yeah, that's what I'll do!" Elliot also saw Donovyn walking by and saying something about the answer to the homework question. Elliot then lowered his head quickly and comically "{Sigh} What's the point.... I can't even answer a simple homework question....."

Zach's stomach grumbled as Elliot ask him that question. "uh.....yeah lets go eat. and i cant figure out ANY of the questions. have a drink before we eat though. here." Zach got out his mini cooler and opened it. "what do you want to drink? i have juice, soda, water, you name it." Zach had a grin on his face. Zach usually does this when hes hungry. "go on you can pick one. trust me, there not props." Zach was kneeling down about to pick up the drink that Elliot wanted.

"Be right back, I'm gonna go get some lunch." 10 minutes later: "MMMM! My favorite! thirty cheese burgers, five root beers, and forty-five thousand fries! I wonder where I put it all. HAHAHAHAHAHA! Zack laughed as he walked back to the arena, sat down, when he got there, and packed it all away in two hours thirty-five minutes, he saw that the duel STILL wasn't finished "How long is this going to last?" Zack asked.

Comically and depressingly, Elliot reply to Zach's question. "Just let me have a can of soda, any would be fine....." Elliot then looked up and saw a girl about 16 years old walking by. "Huh, is she a student here? I've never seen her before, and believe me, if she was wearing that outfit I would've notice her and come and say hi." Elliot then looked back at Zach. "Hey Zach, have you seen her around here before?" Elliot asked curiously.

Zach pulled out a can of soda out of his cooler. he looked at the girl who walked by. "i actually dont know who she is to be exact. Here have a sandwich. but still i have no idea who she is." Zach handed the sandwich to Elliot with a grin. "oh man, is it me, or is it freaking cold in here. Damn im freezing." Zach shivered when he ate his sandwich that he grabbed out of his backpack. "oh my freaking god im freezing cold. do you feel cold."

"Before you can declare an attack I used Threatening Roar which keeps you from attacking this turn!" He smirked lightly as he crossed his arms. "If you cannot defeat my Easy Red-Eyes Deck' date=' how do you plan on deafeating my true deck?!"

"A cold? No, not really. Are you sure you're not just sick or something Zach?" Elliot then walked over and felt Zach's forehead. "Hmm, doesn't seem like it. And this room does not get air conditioning, so I can truly say that I don't feel cold." Elliot then took a bite of the sandwich and sat back down on the porch. "In fact, it's pretty sunny out here. Don't tell me you're freaking out again?" Elliot asked Zach while staring at him as if something was about to happen.

"Okay, I Draw! now then....here I go! ...awesome! I activate my Guardian Summoning Circle! then I can special summon 1 "Mystic Guardian for the turn! so I choose my Tomoyo! then I summon my Mystic Guardian Sasha! the actual Mystic Guardian Tuner, with her effect I can add 1 Chibi Brigade monster from the deck, grave or that has been removed from play, so I choose my Chibi Brigade Yumi but for now I can go ahead and Synch my two monsters on the field! The Spirits within call forth to summon a champion, Become the light in our opponent’s heart! Synchro Summon, Mystic Guardian - Zensaki!!!! the White Shadow appears behind her and with one Giant leaps it appears on the field as a tall man standing at 6'3" and an even larger sword to boot. "Any response? this'll be your last chance"

Donovyn was walking along, minding his own business. "(Hm, all I saw of Elliots deck was Brionac. I wonder what other surprises said Slifer student has.) Heh, listen to me, mulling over a Slifer as if it mattered. Still, that's a pretty nasty surprise for anyone not expecting it." he said, deep in thought. "I wonder, he got a half-decent look at my deck, and he knows the basic construct. Maybe that'll make dueling him more interesting. Plus, he seemed to need a break from the homework he got." he said, glancing in the general direction of the Slifer dorms. "And, I've made myself curious. How good is this Slifer Student?" He began walking toward the Slifer Dorms, shuffling his deck.

"{YAWNNNN!!!!!!!} So bored....." Elliot said as he was finishing the last peice of his sandwich. "Well, Zach, I hope you're not feeling cold anymore." Elliot said as he looked to Zach who was wrapped around four blankets. "Hmm..... I wonder what Zack's doing right now, probably eating up all the burgers, hehe." Elliot then saw Donovyn walking over while shuffling his deck as if he was getting ready for a duel. "Umm, hi Donovyn. So what are you doing here." Elliot said hesitantly towards the calm Donovyn.

[Spirit of DMG]

"Well, I was walking along, when I remembered I saw your Brionac card. Then I started thinking about how I haven't seen your entire deck, and the fact your a Slifer Student. So, I wanted to know how well you play your cards. In other words I'm here for a duel." he said, stopping a few feet away from Elliot, activating his duel disk, and inserting his deck. "With you." he said in the same calm voice, pointing at Elliot. "I request you to show me how well you duel, considering you have something like Brionac in your deck. That can't be an easy deck to master."

[Lord JZ of the Enigma]

"Then I guess it's time to end you, I'll increase the attack of Zensaki by using Yumi's efect, when this attack goes through, It's all over!" Zensaki's aura shone brightly, his sword gained strength as if it were a living being. "Mystic Savior Slash!" The warrior appeared infront of her monster and slashed down, a torrent of air following the swing of his blade as it annihilated the opposing monster.

"Gah, a-a duel?" Elliot said hesitantly while staring at the calm, yet determine Donovyn. "I wasn't really expecting this at all..... I haven't even gotten a chance to see my whole deck yet with all that happened yesterday." Elliot said as he slowly stood up from the porch. "But, I guess I could try out my deck." Elliot thought critically to himself. "(I might as well duel to see what are the strengths and weaknesses of my deck. {Sigh} I just wish I've seen this coming.) Very well Donovyn, I'll try my best." Elliot then activates his duel disk, and got ready to duel. "Alright, let's do this."

[Sander]

Well finally some real offense from this girl.. he thought as he activated his face-down card. "I activate this card, called Dimension Wall. So, all the Battle Damage that I would have taken, you take instead!" he said as he thought that he's going to win this long duel.

[Spirit of DMG]

Donovyn drew his five cards. He looked at them carefully, making an effort to keep a straight face. "I think I'll let you go first, then." he said, looking at Elliot over his hand. He relaxed all his muscles to avoid showing Elliot anything that could potentially help Elliot in the duel. "(All I need to do is win this, and I'll have a better sense of what I need to improve for my next duel with Zack.)" he thought

[Lord JZ of the Enigma]

"Damn....and here I thought I could win....oh well, I activate a special card from my deck....you see it's called "Mystic Sacrifice"....normally it would suck to draw it, as it makes me lose 1500 LP, so I can activate it during either one of our battle phases to tribute my Zensaki, thus losing your target and negating the battle, but as I tribute him, we both lose LP equal to his attack...so....I guess we tie?" she said with an unsure smile as Zensaki jumped to the center of the arena, he raised his sword and a large flash of light appeared leaving both of their Life Points to 0.

If you draw this card, you take 1500 damage and you must discard this card. During either players Battle Phase you can activate this card from your Deck to tribute 1 face-up "Mystic Guardian" on the field and inflict damage to both players equal to the ATK of the tributed monster.

Oh come on..a tie? he thought Come on Xander, don't let it show out that you're a sore loser he thought as he deactivated his duel disk, walked across the stage and shook hands with Kimi. "Nice duel" he said and walked off. "Don't take the me only saying *Nice duel* and then walking off without saying a word wrong, but we really need to get going." he said as he pointed to the clock. "I'm just getting my stuff" he said as he took his stuff, ran off, saying "Seeya!", and winking at Kimi when he said that.

[The Dragon Duelist]

He drew a card smirking as he did. "I set two cards face down." He thought for a moment. "I end my turn!" He stood there crossing his arms. "Your monster may be unaffected by spells and traps, but I am still going to win this!"

"Alright then, here I go!" Elliot said confidently as if he was a completely different person. "My turn, I draw!" Elliot drew the sixth card and carefully looked at his hand, trying to figure out the best strategy. "(Donovyn is an excellent duelist, even under pressure. So I can't look scared or else I'm done for.)" Elliot thought to himself as he picked up his first card. "Alright, I'll start things off by activating the spell card Water Hazard! Once per turn, if there isn't any monsters on my field, then I can special summon one Water monster and I choose Strategist of the Ice Barrier in attack mode!" The monster then rose to the field from the waving tsunami. "Now I activate my Strategist special ability. By discarding one Ice Barrier monster from my hand, I can draw one card, however, I can only use this effect once." Elliot then drew a card from his deck and carefully looked at it. "Alright, I'll now set a monster in defence and place two cards face-down and end my turn. Your turn!"
