Zach was walking in the hallways after duel legends class. (damn, he gave us so much homework. I usually flunk but i dont want to in this class, who knows what Jazeth will do to me.) when he was mumbling to himself and went to the duel arena, he saw both Kimi and the other boy that was at duel legends class. "Yeah Kimi! beat his butt! your losing right now but keep at it!" Zach was watching the very fast duel. (man how did that boy get Kimi's LP to so far somewere around 2000 LP) Zach just sat at the chairs and watched the duel.

[Lord JZ of the Enigma]

"Heh, yep, I need to keep a few cards in hand for next turn....card advantage is key in this duel....so I'll go ahead and end, I really hope I don't lose cause of burn damage though....that make me feel silly." Nikita smiled back at her considering the fact that Nikita can do burn damage, but since Kimi can't see spirits yet to her Nikita was just standing there. "I end my turn!"

Zach was looking at Kimi's Mystic Guardian-Nikita and then he noticed something and thought about it. (wow look at that monster. Shes twitching at that boy from class. i dont think Kimi see's that because see looks like that her monster is just standing there it looks like.) Zach's stomach grumbled. he grabbed a black marshmellow from his backpack and started to eat it. "Kimi you can do it. beat him like a drumstick!" Zach was very enthusiastic about this duel.

[Sander]

"That will be the last thing that you will do in this duel" he said as he drew a card. "Oh, did I forget to mention that Wakeleen monsters that were removed from play to activate their burn damage effect return to my field during the next Standby Phase?" he said with a large smirk on his face. "Now, I'll activate their effects once again and remove them both from play, this time, starting first with Oputiel anf then Robiheb. If you have anything to respond, do it now or lose." he said with a serious tone in his voice.

You can remove from play this card to inflict 1000 points of damage to your opponent. Return it to your field in Attack Position during your next Standby Phase. If you controlled another "Wakeleen" monster when you removed from play this card by it's effect, select 1 Spell Card in your Deck and Set it. You cannot use that Spell Card this turn.

"Before you can declare an attack I used Threatening Roar which keeps you from attacking this turn!" He smirked lightly as he crossed his arms. "If you cannot defeat my Easy Red-Eyes Deck, how do you plan on deafeating my true deck?!"

"heh, you really get into this don't ya? well I do too and like I said, I'm not gonna lose by burn damage!!! I discard from my hand the member of the Chibi Brigade - Mimi! now then this turn I'll take no damage and since it's purposefully an unstated type of damage, it includes burn damage and battle damage for the turn....like a Kuriboh and a Kuribon fused together!" the little blue witch comes out and shields her with a wall of bubbles, then disappears as the damage is dissipated. then as Zach threw her a cookie she smiled. "Yay! cookie! om nom nom" she enjoyed the duel, she enjoyed the atmosphere, and she enjoyed Oreos.

Also, since I opted that you would find a way to negate the effect damage, I activate the face-down card that I had set with Robiheb last turn, Wakeleen Pyrotactics! Since I currently have 3 Wakeleen monsters removed from play, this card allows me to destroy 2 cards on the field. I choose the 2 face-down cards that you have there." he said as 2 mighty fireballs appeared from above and were falling onto the 2 face-down cards that Kimi had out.

"uwah!!!and I can't activate them without counters...this is bad....." the two crash and begin to burn the holograms. "and after I worked so hard to protect them.....oh well...now I'm at a disadvantage again...and with only one card in hand...I need a good card next turn....." she looks at the field, her opponent was also at a disadvantage after losing his monsters, but he still got their effects, "okay then, continue, unless that was your finisher for this move?"

"You wish" he said as he laughed a bit, "I still have a few tricks up my sleeve. I'll activate the Spell Card called One for One. Now I'll discard 1 card to Special Summon Wakeleen - Benhael from my Deck in Attack Position, and then I'll Normal Summon a Tuner Monster called Wakeleen - Dureros! Now I'll activate it's effect. When it's Normal Summoned, I can Special Summon 1 of my removed from play Wakeleen. Don't worry, that monsters effect is negated, but you know, I still have Benhael waiting. I'll activate his effect next and remove him from play to inflict another 1000 points of damage to your Life Points. Since I controlled another Wakeleen monster when I removed him from play, I can Special Summon 1 of my removed from play Wakeleen monsters. As with Dureros, that monsters effect is also negated." he said as he picked Robiheb and Oputiel from his Deck Box and placed them onto the field.

 

"Now, I'll use all those 3 monsters to Sycnhro Summon the one, the only Wakeleen - Draxinaq!" A half Fiend, half Dragon like creature appeared onto the field in Attack Position (1200/800).

 

"Now, since you have no face-down cards, I'm safe to attack your monster. Oh, and since my Life Points are higher than yours at the moment, it gains ATK equal to the difference. Since my math is that bad, I count 1300! So his ATK at the moment is 2500!" he said as Draxinaq attacked Nikita.

Zach was still watching the duel, but he wondered why Kimi hasnt attacked yet. "Hey Kimi, you alright? you seem a little shaken up." Zach was still enjoying the duel while eating his black marshmellow. (oh man, Kimi's getting beat up there. i wonder what she's going to do next. i mean, shes cornered by those Wakeleen cards. there like god cards.) Zach was worried about what the boy would do next.

"Ahhhhh!" she yelped as Nikita was destroyed and her Life Points took a deep plunge. "man...you really are good......but I'm still not done with, as long as I have Life Points, I'll stay strong." she looked at her Graveyard, having lost alot of monsters and taken heavy damage she would need a miracle next turn. "Hmm, you look pretty sure of yourself right about now....anything else to your turn?

"Damn, I thought that I've won here...so much of me being "not bad at math." he said, "Firstly, I'll activate Draxinaq's effect and remove from play 2 Wakeleen monsters from my Graveyard. I'll remove Oputiel and Robiheb. I'll end my turn by placing 1 card face-down" he said as he placed the card onto his duel disk.

"This is it then...I really hope I can pull this off, I draw!" she smiles for a second. "well looks like I got lucky, especially since you destroyed Nikita! now I can activate my "Parallel World Greed" Card, now then, by removing from play 3 monsters in my grave, I can draw two cards? any problem with that?" she stated as she took the three monsters from her grave and placed them back in her deck box.

"I have nothing to respond with" he said as he sighed when he saw that Kimi is able to draw 2 cards, possibly getting cards to make a comeback. Damn it...oh well, I still have Dureros in my Graveyard, waiting to spring it's effect when she tries anything funny!. "Go on" he said to Kimi.

"Okay...this next part is tricky.....I'll go ahead and Summon my Mystic Guardian Tomoyo! now then I'll also set a card and I'll have my Tomoyo attack your Wakeleen - Draxinaq, cause I know his effect only activates when he declares an attack, so Tomoyo should be able to get a good hit for 800!" The Confident looking Swordswoman appears and slashes at the Demon-esque creature slicing it in two.

This card can attack twice during the same Battle Phase. When your opponent targets a face-up "Mystic Guardian" monster on your side of the field (except "Mystic Guardian-Tomoyo) you can tribute this card to negate the attack.

"I'll activate my face-down card, Book of Moon. So I'll use this cards ability and flip your monster into face-down Defense Position" he said as he sighed because the attack was too close. "Any response?" he asked.

"unfotunately no...so I guess I have to end it right there...but next time, I will be getting my attack in, no matter what!" she looked at the field, she had some favor, but by now she knew that the power of this deck was in the removed from play section. She would have to be very cautious in her next turn, she just hoped she would survive until the next turn. "You're really good, but I'll still pull it off somehow!" she said with a grin.

[Sander]

"So, it's my turn" he said as he drew a card. "I'll set this card face-down and have Draxinaq attack your face-down monster!" he ordered. "Anything to responde with? It is getting a little bit too close for our next class." he said, kinda worried was right to do so; they had been dueling for almost 35 minutes now.

I can activate my mirror Force, but that's about it...either way, I won't be taking damage."she looked at the clock as well, this duels was taking to long, but she wanted to end it. "one of us has to win soon enough right?" she looked at her hand, and noticed yet again, they were equal in many things, including hand advantage, and field manipulation, from what she saw her Wakeleen monsters can still prove dangerous when removed from play, but her Chibi Guardian's were protective when in her hand.

Zach was eating like usual while watching Kimi and the boy duel when he saw the clock all the way back in the duel room. "HOLY CARP PEOPLE WERE GOING TO BE LATE FOR CLASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Zach grabbed all of his snack and his mini cooler and then he ran out of the door. (oh crap, i forgot where the room is god damn it. hopefully i can find it before the bell rings.) Zach ran for his life trying to find the class he needs to go to.

It's time he thought. I'll activate the effect of Wakeleen - Dureros from my Graveyard. I can remove him from play to either negate the activation of a Spell/Trap card or the effect of an effect monster. I'll choose to negate your Mirror Force, so your monster is destroyed." he said as he placed Dureros to his Deck Box.

Zack was in the seats, no one noticed him yet, he was even there BEFORE them, he noticed how good they were dueling, so he decided to get noticed "Not bad, not bad at all. But they don't call me the 'King of the Stars' for nothing, I got the title after beating ten pro's while I was in the pro league, I believe the last pro I defeated was.... Josep Zavara." Zack said in a calm voice, "I was the best in my old duel academy, they were scared of my skills, but only scared during a duel against me, Iv'e NEVER lost a duel." Zack said "(Hmm, better add THOSE to my deck.)" Zack said as he added his 'Dragon' set and one other monster to his deck and extra deck and removed some to "(THESE cards were made ONLY for me after I came in second at the Pro tournament.)" Zack thought with a smirk.

Elliot was in his room during most of the afternoon trying to complete the packet of homework given to him by Jazeth. "Okay, so if Joey, Yugi, Mai, and "Bandit" Keith are the semifinalists then where was Seto Kaiba during the events of-AH!!!! I can't do this. Usually I'm good at completeting my homework assignments but today I'm just SO, well, not me! {Sigh} I wonder what the others are doing right now.... I wonder if Kimi or Xander decided to duel Jazeth first..... Gah!!! I can't work like this! Maybe I need to get some fresh air." Elliot thought to himself. He then stood up from his bed and went outside, carrying with him his duel disk and deck. But before he could go, Zach barged inside.

"Okay then...this is it,do you have anything else?cause I'm still geared to win!" she stated as she looked at her hand, she could pull one more maneuver out, but it would depend on what she drew, of course if he had one more move she would have to use her last card, and who knew if that would work? "maybe I should have summoned "him" from the beginning, but it's not like it would have helped much......considering I could get even 1 "mystic counter" on the field.

 

She then heard what Zack said and for a second her heart felt like exploding. "You....did whattttttt!!!!!!!!" she pointed at him and it looked like the gates of hell were going to open up. "My father has never lost a professional duel! and he retired his position to train me! so I think I'll have to kill you later!"
