Uh, Ekim, you do know that the lamp's burst is reiatsu based. The beasts are immune to any reiatsu based attack.

 

 

The gorilla, simply roared at Takeda when he tried to attack its shadow. With one massive swoop, the gorilla flailed and made a sweeping motion with its arms towards Takeda. The wind force around the swing was intense, as even the trees, the beasts, and Yomi himself was blown a few meters back simply by the force of the wind.

 

"Takeda-san, allow me to help you." Yomi remarked, jumping over a few beasts being hurled by the windforce, and landing right beside the gorilla.

 

It was a terrible move by Yomi, because the gorilla seemed very perceptive of their movements. At the moment Yomi's foot touched the ground beside the beast, he was immediately kicked by the Gorilla's palm-like feet, sending him flying towards Rnaki's direction. The gorilla then turned towards Takeda and started to pummel the ground. Each pummel created a shockwave whenever the gorilla's fist hit the ground. The shockwaves were strong enough to topple down trees.

 

The beasts fighting Rnaki were thinning out, thanks to his slashes, but they were more still coming at him. The lamp blast simply was not enough to kill the beast, as they were immune to its effects. But more were falling from Rnaki's blade.

 

Back over at Saren's group, they've already reached what looked like a small cave, which seemed to be the passage to go deeper into the jungle. Saren was rather unsure of the entrance, and decided to see how far the cave goes. He condenses reiatsu on his right hand and drew out his bow with his left. He then cocked the arrow-reiatsu on the bow and fired straight into the cave. It lighted out the cave as soon as it entered, and revealed that the inside was actually very spacious, as if its an entirely new world.

 

"Okay, the cave has an exit, everyone. It looks like we'll need to take this one to go over the next side. Be careful though. My tracing arrow disappeared near the exit. It detected several unknown anomalies inside, and they weren't those beasts, nor bounts, nor arrancars." Saren said seriously, entering first.

 

He immediately fired another arrow above their heads, but as the arrow hit the ceiling, it didn't shatter. Instead, it melded with the rocky ceiling, and started to crawl forward, lighting up the cave for them.

 

Meanwhile, above them, was Zasalamel's little group. He was amused to see that Saren's group really intended to take the gave. Then again, he didn't doubt Saren. Out of all the people in the jungle, Zasalamel has his eyes set for his ex-clanmate. He immediately motioned for the other Espadas to follow him towards the other side of the mountain.

 

"Rey-san, I don't know what the Heigou is too. It sounded really important, so I decided to see for myself too. It should be fun!" Zasalamel remarked.

 

Of course, being in the air has its perks. It meant that Zasalamel can by-pass labyrinthine-like mazes or any other obstacles that would otherwise impede them. And so they were able to make it to the other side of the mountain without too much of a hassle. Zasalamel then decided to move towards the sloping section of the mountain, overlooking the exit.

 

"Well, let's stay here kids, Rey-san. I estimate that they'll be having a rather long time in their hands before they can get out of the cave. Whoever made this cave sure does know how to create a maze." Zasalamel said with his palm on the face of the mountain.

 

After a few seconds, something was stirring behind the Segunda Espada. It was a massive beast, akin to mountain lions. It roared angrily at Zasalamel, and its red eyes suggested that they were food. The size of the lion was nearly twice as big as Zasalamel himself! But this didn't faze the Segunda Espada. He seemed happier, rather.

 

"Alright kids. You want to play with that cute cat? I bet its got friends." Zasalamel joked, but he was right. As soon as he finished his sentence, they were already surrounded by a pack of mountain lion-like beasts.

 

"Playtime." Zasalamel remarked, expanding his magnetic field to cover at least 200 meters of mountain face, where they were going to fight.

Rnaki saw yomi fly by him and Rnaki stuck his arm out catching him.

"Woa dont want to be healing any broken bones right now Yomi be careful." he said as he turned his staff into a large pair of clamps. his slamed them around one of the beasts an started to close them and the beast roured. "What kitty doese the nice doctor that hurts my feelings." He said as he crush it.

Great, caves. I think I would rather stay in the jungle. Sayori thought walking into the cave. Saren was able to light ther path, and she was grateful for that. This way no one would be bumping into one another.

 

Yori frowned at the new arrivals, "I hate cats.....In fact I hate most animals." She drew her sword facing one of the large beast. Even though she couldn't see them it didn't seem to stop her from running towards one head on. When she got close enough she moved to the side, using her size as an advantage, and avoiding the large claw sent towards her. Her sword then made a clean cut across the monsters eyes blinding him. "Now we are the same...I am just cuter." She giggled before slicing it's head clean off and turning to face another.

 

Meanwhile, Yoru was steadily using his fist to pound away at the over grown cats. "Now this is fun!" He laughed daning around the cat moving out of the way just enough to dode it's attacks. "To bad we don't have any yarn!" He said right before landing a punch right in the nose of the beast sending him flying. "Oh yeah! Yoru: 1! Kitty on steroids: Zer-woah!" Yoru flipped out of the way of a charging beast. "Sorry too slow."

"Hehe, other than that I've just been counting the vegetation this whole time and enjoying tea." Takeda stated jokingly at Akiyama's question. "Well, thanks for joining the party Akiyama. Looks like this big gorilla wants to dance eh?" The gorilla began pounding his fist at the ground creating multiple shockwaves that toppled trees. A tiger lashed out at Takeda from his left. Takeda was starting to get annoyed as he tried to keep his balance. As the tiger launched at Takeda, Takeda casually kicked it out of the way as he jumped up into the air. "Hey everybody! Is it alright if I release my Bankai out here to move things along?!" Takeda yelled out at the group.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

Iyusaka was intrigued by the cave. "Huh? This sure is unique, I can LSO sense some strange anomalies but it's only a slight sensation. Let's just hope nothing happens while we're in this cave. I'd hate for it to collapse while we're fighting." Iyusaka stated as he walked into the cave and began to follow Saren, observing the surroundings.

"Feel free, Takeda, though I'd conserve my strength if I were you!" Akiyama shouted, stumbled at the first of the gorilla's shockwaves, leaping into the air before the next one toppled him. Akiyama angled his fingers downwards, creating a small Danku below him to serve as a platform. He watched the gorilla's shockwaves, gauging the timing of the pounding. Right as the gorilla smashed the ground, Akiyama leapt off of the platform, landing during the interval between strikes and lunging at the beast. Akiyama activated his Shikai, his wakizashi materializing in his left hand. He shot towards the gorilla, holding his katana out at an angle to slash or puncture any strikes from the beast. He'd seen what happened to Yomi and would not fall prey to the same fate. Akiyama pulled back his wakizashi, ready to slash at the beast when the distance was closed.

Rey chuckled again. Zasalamel was being quite funny today.

"Alright, we'll theorize about the Heigou later. Let's play with the kitty-cats now." He released a weak wave of spiritual pressure that knocked some of the lesser felines off of their feet and pushed the larger ones back a bit. The biggest of the creatures just growled at him, the pressure an annoyance at best. Rey smiled. He'd once fought a hollow bigger than this thing back when he was an Adjucha, and he'd won with his bare hands. This time, he had a sword, though he doubted he'd end up using it.

"Yoru, Yori, could you guys take the kittens? The fat cat here is for Espadas only." He smiled, lunging at the creature. Right as he came within range of a paw swipe, Rey activated Sonido, zipping over to its flank. He slammed a fist up into its ribs, expecting his strength (which was considerable, he would admit) combined with his strong Hierro to shatter bone. Not waiting to see the results of his strike, Rey zipped back four yards to escape any retaliatory strikes. "Your turn, Zasalamel." An expression of glee could be seen on Rey's face. He loved fighting, and to be frank, he was damned good at it.

Yoru saluted Ray still toying with the lesser cats. He would kill it eventually but he was having way too much fun right now. The beast seemed to get angrier everytime it missed, and that only made Yoru laughed harder. Yori on the other hand frowned quickly decapitating another large cat her sword, which seemed to only be the right half of a whole, by her side. "Not to be rude Rey-sama, but I am not a Fraccion like I assume you think. I am the Octava Espada, and Yoru is the Fraccion-"

 

"Hey!" Yoru called over cutting Yori off, "You say it like it's a bad thing!"

 

"-However, I will handle the smaller ones if you wish, seeing as you are a higher rank than I." Yori continued still not concerned by the inturruption.

Rnaki relesed the large cat he had in his clamps and ran over towords the gorrila.

"Hey guys I'm gonna hole him down take him out when i do ok." Rnaki yelled as he slung the clamps around the gorrila closing them tight. he could feel the gorrila slowly trying to break open the clamps but Rnaki held them shut.

"Attack it now Ive got maybe 20 second left before he breaks theses clamps." Rnaki yelled as the gorrila stuggled more.

Akiyama smiled. 20 seconds? More than enough. "I got this." Akiyama brought his sword up from its defensive position. As he reached the gorilla, he slashed down the side of its head with his wakizashi while flipping his katana over and stabbing into the right shoulder with it. Tossing his katana up, Akiyama took hold of the katana with this left hand, snatched his wakizashi out of the air, and drove it into the beast's throat. Akiyama pulled his blades from the beast's flesh, launching off of the gorilla's chest with his feet. He shot over to Rnaki, standing next to the Captain in preparation to defend him. "Somebody else want to finish this thing off?"

Takeda's face showed some signs of irritation as he witnessed Akiyama taking care of the creature. "Aw c'mon, that was suppose to be my kill.... Aw, oh well...." Takeda stated as he landed towards the ground and absorbing the shadow of the gorilla, then lauching it at the other beasts as a powerful wave of darkness. Upon impact, it sent the beast flying back into the bushes, where some of them ran off and some were either dead or too injured to move. "I have a feeling that this guy has friends, I wouldn't be sticking around here for too long you guys." Takeda stated to the group.

Yomi gave a wide grin towards Rnaki. He was thankful that he caught him before he hit anything hard. He was up to his feet once again when he finally noticed Akiyama joining in the fight. He was lightened up by the circumstances as he knew that Akiyama was also a strong contender among the captains.

 

"Its pretty nice to see you around these parts, Captain Akiyama." Yomi shouted, fending off an attack from a rabid leopard-sort of creature. He then kicked the remaining beasts away, severing a head or two as he made his way towards the gorilla, who was still thrashing the ground.

 

The gorilla looked incredibly annoyed at the triple team that Yomi, Akiyama, and Takeda were doing. It was now jumping up and down as it slammed its fist on the ground, producing larger shockwaves. It has a wound on its fist, courtesy of Akiyama, but it doesn't seem to mind. Yomi jumped up, and yelled at Takeda, "GO DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO, TAKEDA-SAN!"

 

He then brought down his zanpakutou towards the head of the gorilla, hoping to take it out altogether. But there was something wrong. The skin of the gorilla wasn't like its normal counterpart. It was tough, like a squishy hierro. His blade left a wound, but it wasn't enough to take out the head. The gorilla flailed once again, sending Yomi flying away when its gigantic backfist hit Yomi by the side. Yomi landed on a tree, gingerly positioning himself so that he could cushion the blow.

 

Meanwhile, Saren's group was having a more smoother time in their hands, at least for now. So far nothing attacked them inside the caves, and they were already past halfway. Saren wasn't relaxing however. something was bound to happen, and soon. The cave was a little too eerie from the start, and something wasn't right. Its as if the whole place was lined with Reiatsu.

 

"Guys, listen-----" Saren started but stopped when he saw something bony grab his cloak. He immediately spun away, and kicked the hand, forcing to fly towards the rest of the group. It looked like it belonged to a skeleton. True enough, skeletal hands suddenly started rising up from the ground, followed immediately by a large amount of skeletons wielding katanas. The all have tattered looking shinigami robes, and their eye sockets glowed with blue fire.

 

"Sleepers! Defend yourselves!" Saren said, immediately moving beside Sayori, and drawing out his bow. He fired two shots, which passed through more than a few, shattering the skulls. However, through some sheer misfortune, the skeletons simply got back up, and started attacking again.

 

"Just my lucky day, huh?" Saren noted, kicking another skeleton back.

Zasalamel was simply sitting on the ground, seemingly unaffected by the cats. Actually, it wasn't that he was unaffected. The cats seemed to be unable to touch him. Earlier, as he expanded the magnetic field, he made sure that the polarities of the cats were changed to negative, thus, when he applied a negative charge to his body, the cats would get repelled back. Of course, this doesn't work on a captain or another Espada due to the spiritual pressure each one contains.

 

He simply yawned a couple of times and stared back at Rey and the two kids. He then heard Rey say something about the situation being his turn now. Zasalamel gave a smile from inside his bandaged face and faced one of the cats.

 

"Well, my turn fairly comes quick nowadays." Zasalamel send extending a hand towards the face of the cat. He then effortlessly applied a positive charge to his right hand, and without even touching the cat's head, he ripped it apart without much of an effort. "How's that for a turn?"

 

Zasalamel was laughing. It was fun while it lasted anyway. More mountain lions appeared, entering Zasalamel's magnetic field. BUt they still can't touch the Segunda Espada, being repelled back by Zasalamel's magnetic hierro.

Sven watched as Turantura had engaged the enemy and was making them work insteda of sit back and relax. When he noticed a second Bount, he wondered if Turantura had as well. The fact was Turantura had noticed the new Bount in his Pesquisa and allowed the Bount to defend against him. He always liked a good fight. As the Bount went to parry, he put his hand against the back of his blade and gathered Reiatsu to it. "Cero," he called out as the Bount pushed him back a bit. The cero formed around his zanpakuto and shot into the Bount from almost point blank. The liquid was instantly engulfed and obliterated by the cero and the bount would sustain grave injuries if she did not move. When they made the combo, Turantura used Sonido and appeared above them both. "Bala!" he called out. It was like a cero had formed, but it shot out even faster then before. It would hit them both or cause them to split up if they had moved away from it. Either way, this would allow him to fight more evenly without having to use more tricks. Sven ignored Reifujin as the comment was plain and boring.

Christine restated her question even though she knew Saren was busy. She wanted answers and she was going to get them. "Well. explain yourself?" she nudged on to him as she followed him to the cave. When he formed his bow, not only once, but twice she knew he was serious. "Well then Mr. stuck up. I'm definately not going to leave until you've explained everything to me," she stated. She held up her right arm, the one without the Sanrei Glove on it, but a small chain with a dragon on it. Suddenly a bright light shown in the cave. When it dimmed out one could see Christine with her bow on her arm. It was of a side view of a dragon that is curled at the tail. A person can make out the head and tail of a dragon, with the dragon's head actually visable not only from the side, but from the front as well. She grabbed towards the back of the bow as a blue thread appeared and a reiatsu arrow formed. Then she released and 5 arrows shot out of the bow and went through the cave, hitting 5 specific spots in the cave. The skeleton's heads shattered and their bodies fell. "More are coming. We must hurry," she said with a serious look on her face. Then as she said it, more did appear.

 

Kisune and Rogue were amazed to see the bow Christine had formed. Not only had they seen Quincy's bows before, but to see her's was like new. They would either have to be very careful or very grateful that she was here with them. "Then let's get moving. There is no time to waste afterall," Kisune said as he began to make his way to the front of the group. "Not so fast captain," Rogue said, trying to stay professional in this setting, but also careful. She followed him until they were both right behind the two Quincies. Rogue was leaning on Kisune as she cold and a bit frightened, though this was all part of an act. The being frightened part that is. Then upon seeing the skeleton's Kisune pushed Rogue between him, Sayori and Saren. He took out his zanpakuto and begun to slash through the heads of the skeleton's vertically and horizontally. This made sure that the heads weren't decapitated, but were destroyed.

Silvia looked at Kaishi after he had pointed the way to go. "Well then lets go," she said and began walking in front like she was in charge. Even if there was danger she could easily take it out and continue going. After a moment or two she turned around to see the others had not begun moving. "Well let's go. Now!" she called to them. She was getting slightly angry as though she was the "youngest" she was one of the more wise.

[spoiler=OOC:] For all Shinigami, don't overuse your powers. You've still got to fight the Bount and Arrancar when they appear. I say don't overuse your powers. because you have limiters on since you're in the real world. Check the OOC board for info on that.

 

 

"You're making a story about me? Awesome." Karek said, joy showing in his eyes and in the smile that he now gave Iyusaka. He enjoyed Iyusaka's company. He was the only Captain who asked him about his missions and asked to tell him a story whenever he got back from them. He enjoyed telling them as well, and so that only made their companionship even better.

 

He followed the group as they headed towards the cave. He listened to everything Saren said, making note of everything. Saren was the leader now, and so he would have to listen to him. As they entered into the dark cave, Karek looked around it, still gathering reiatsu to his ears in order to hear everything around him well. Since he couldn't see much within this darkness, he would need to enhance another of his senses to keep his guard up. Then Saren lit up the room with an arrow. Impressive. This Quincy is truly impressive, and especially for his age.

 

They continued walking when suddenly, Saren whirled around and a skeleton hand flew off of his cloak. Just then, many more skeleton rose from the ground wielding katanas. "Oh man. I thought this would be a smooth ride till the end. Oh well I guess. It should be expected." Karek said as he reached forward, grabbing the skull of a skeleton who came at him. He then threw it against the wall, and with his physical strength, it immediately shattered, but then after some time, it quickly reformed.

 

"Ah..what are these things?" Karek asked, now surrounded by a group of them. "Saren. I think these things are powered by reiatsu right? Is that why they reform so quickly?" Karek asked. Since they reform when a piece of them remains, then why don't we just destroy them completely? "I think we should destroy them completely instead of leaving any part of them to remain." Karek called out to the group. Just as the group of skeletons surrounding him lunged at him, he moved his arms and pointed them to the side. "You're gonna love this one Iyusaka, but cover your ears." Karek said, closing his eyes and focusing his reiatsu into both of his hands.

 

Physical pain could be seen on his face as he gathered the reiatsu. Gathering reiatsu didn't cause pain, so what was it that he was gathering? "Reiatsu Screech." Karek muttered. From both of his palms, a shrieking blast of sound burst out, forming a 360 dome of sound around him. With the echoing effect of the cave, the shriek was only enhanced and magnified, allowing it's power to grow past what Karek had wanted. It blasted straight through the skeletons jumping at him, shattering their bodies into nothing but dust. Hopefully, this was enough to prevent them from reforming. With the echoing effect of the cave, the shriek continued, passing over all of the Captains. It was aimed with reiatsu to seek out only the skeletons. It took out another good portion of the skeletons, shattering them into dust as well as they jumped at the others.

 

Karek moved his arms to the side and almost toppled over. Using that ability took it's toll on his body. "At least I took out alot of them at one time." he said, smirking.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the jungle where the Bount were, Kaishi began walking forward, making sure to step to the right of the hole his doll had made. His eyes seemed to glow with reiatsu as he walked, as if something had happened after he had released his doll. The ground in front of him was shifting up and down slowly, and then it stopped as he began walking. It continued to shift up and down, but less and less.

 

"Hmph." Kaishi wasn't too fond of Silvia's eagerness, but what could he do about it. They needed to work together to find this item. He moved forward as she commanded, now leading the way. "Reinhardt. Several groups can be sensed by my doll many miles from our location. About 3 or 4 of them. Do you think it is the Shinigami?" Kaishi asked Reinhardt. "If it is, what do you propose we do?" Kaishi asked.

Back on Kasen's side, he was having fun dodging the golden flames sent by the lion. He would fly straight at the lion as it was gathering a large ball of flames in it's mouth, and then when it fired it, he would sonido to appear behind it. The lion would turn around and repeat, and the cycle continued. Kasen then sonido'd high into the air and stared down at the lion. "These guys are interesting." he muttered as he watched the battle between Turantura and two Bount. He then looked at Sven and then at Reifujin, noticing that the fireball was still flying towards her. "Have some fun Tercia!" Kasen called out to Sven.

 

Just then, the lion was above him, a large ball of golden flames in it's mouth. It fired it down upon Kasen, but instead of one large ball of fire coming down on him, it split into many. "Cheater. No sneaking." Kasen said, aiming a palm upwards. A red aura of reiatsu formed withing his palm and immediately fired out. The reiatsu fired out moved quickly, like a bala, but it was as wide as a cero except with a different shape. It was a blade! Kasen swung the blade of red reiatsu around, cutting through the fireballs that attempted to rain down on him. The fireballs instead fell around him. He closed his hand and lowered it, and the cero blade dispersed into the air. "I'm getting tired of playing with cheaters." Kasen said, his face growing more serious.

Meanwhile, on the ground, the so called Bount that Turantura had thought he blasted with the cero was in fact Asaka's doll. As the cero impacted into it, it tore right through it, reducing it to nothing but a purple liquid as the cero passed. The purple liquid moved in the air and reformed next to Asaka.

 

"You're a fool. Giftige Risse cannot be destroyed so easily Arrancar." Asaka said, standing near her brother.

 

As the Bala came crashing down on them, Asaka's doll fired off a large wave of the purple liquid from her hands straight towards the Bala. The two collided, but as they did, the purple liquid seemed to go right through the bala, eating away at the reiatsu in it as they touched. The wave continued towards Turantura after eating through his Bala.

 

As this happened, Kasaka appeared at Turantura's right side, slashing his blade towards Turantura's rib. As this happened, a powerful wave of golden flames was released from his blade, it's aim to completely obliterate Turantura. This was their combo. They took advantage of their abilities to overwhelm the opponent. Both attacks were coming in at Turantura with incredible speed.

Rey grinned. He hadn't had fun like this in a while. Some of the other Arrancars and Hollows told him that the old Espadas were all tightasses and hated each other. The new ones were better, in his opinion. They work together a lot better.

"Sorry about that, Yoru. Feel free to take down the big cat, though I might get to him first!" Rey shouted in response to Yoru. He saw Zasalamel tear apart one of the animals. "That's pretty impressive, Zasalamel-Sama!" Rey leapt into the air, pummelling a pair of the beasts with a Spiritual Pressure attack that shattered their spines. He landed atop their bodies, seizing a lunging beast out of the air and ripping its head off. He discarded the head, tossing the body forward and propelling it into the crowd. "How was that?!" Rey shouted gleefully.

Christine was blasting arrows through the skeleton's when Karek used his attack. Her bow quickly dissipated since it was made from Reiatsu. 'Bloody shinigami," she said as the skeleton's were popping like popcorn. When he was finished she reformed her bow and continued her attacks. "Let's keep moving. If we don't we'll be stuck in here longer and we would even be limited in space," Kisune's voice rang out as he cut through another skeleton. He grabbed Rogue and Christine, even to both of their dismay's and used Shunpo to get to the other side of the cave. He hoped the others would soon follow or he'd have to go in there to help out more. Once outside he set the 2 girls down and looked back inside. Christine deformed her bow and had a glare in her eyes. "I was fine in there you know," he yelled out. Rogue simply dusted herself off and placed her hand on Christine's shoulder. "He only did it so that we wouldn't be wasting time or energy on something so weak," she told her. Christine gave a glare, but then retracted it and let it be. "Next time warn me before you go putting your hands on me," she said to Kisune. He just took in the comment and nodded his head.

Sven used sonido as the Bounts were focused on his Fraccion and Kasen. He appeared behind the Bount with the doll that used the purple liquid. When he ahd appeared his zanpakuto was in hand and poised to strike. As the doll fired the liquid towards his Fraccion's Bala, he stabbed his zanpakuto into the Bount's chest. This didn't kill the Bount, but injured it pretty badly. As the Bala was being destroyed and broke through Turantura used Sonido to move back to the ground. He did it because he sensed the other Bount moving to his side with his Pesquisa while the liquid was breaking through the bala. This put the Bount in the path of the liquid instead of himself. Turantura looked at Sven as he had just now noticed what his Espada had done. He gave a smirk as he looked at the other Bount. "Seems that the tides have turned again," he said in his cocky voice.

Silvia heard what Kaishi had to say and then pondered for a moment on what to do. "I say we go find them and play with them," she said, "Don't you think we should have some fun while were looking for something?" She waited a response from the others, but she didn't want to wait long.

As Sven's blade pierced into Asaka, her body simply melted and became nothing but ash which blew away into the air. "You shouldn't charge into the battle without first learning of your opponent's abilities." her voice cooed in Sven's ears. The world before him was quickly distorted. Swirling patterns moved before his eyes. His senses seemed to be dulled. There were many loud noises echoing around him, and it felt as if pins were pricking his skin, going even through his tough hierro.

 

Wafting up from the ground where Asaka stood was steam. Steam from where the purple liquid had touched the ground and decayed it. This was the same spot where Asaka's doll had blocked Turantura's blade for Kasaka, and Asaka had appeared near her brother before he had disappeared. When Sven went to attack Asaka, he had moved through the air, which was laced with reiatsu from the purple liquid when Giftige Risse had exploded from the cero. The twins had planned this whole battle out. Even Turantura would soon succumb to the illusionary effects of the purplish liquid. The only way for him to break out of it now would be to get help from someone else.

 

Kasaka meanwhile, missed his slash in the air, but he was nowhere near the blast. He had appeared on Turantura's side. Turantura had sonidoed, and that would mean the purple liquid wave heading upwards would continue on it's way, only a little part of it making contact with Kasaka. The little part of it that did make contact with him was countered by the flames he released as he had slashed. Kasaka disappeared, having the flames shield him from the purple liquid. He then reappeared on the ground. Outside of Sven's false reality, Asaka appeared on the ground next to Kasaka as well.

 

By now, Turantura would feel the effects. He would feel the dulling of his senses as well as the many sounds echoing around. He would also feel the many pin pricks in his skin going even through his hierro. His vision would begin to grow blurry in a matter of seconds. He would also need help from someone else to escape its effects, for the purple liquid was all throughout the air, and so even if he did escape it, he would only succumb to it once more by breathing it in subconsciously. "Look at them. They fell right into your doll's ability." Kasaka stated. "We should probably go off on the search for that thing with the others now." Kasaka said to Asaka. "Shush brother. We weren't supposed to tell them." Asaka said. "So what? They're in an illusion right now so they can't hear me anyway." Kasaka said and began cackling, placing his flaming blade on his shoulders. Somehow, the flames didn't even burn him.

 

Meanwhile, in the air, Kasen who was still dodging the flames of Kasaka's doll heard all of this. "Search for something? Is it a treasure? Oh boy. We get to go on a treasure hunt." Kasen called out from the sky. As the lion jumped up towards him, he sonido'd once more to avoid it's deadly teeth. He then appeared above it, spinning himself around before slamming his right left down onto its face. "Chill kitty. We have to go on a treasure hunt now." Kasen said as he watched the lion crash into the ground below him.

 

"Warmekonig! You'll pay for that." Kasaka said, pointing his blade towards Kasen.

 

"Brother, keep your guard up. I don't know if that illusion will continue to hold them." Asaka said.

Iyusaka and the others continued along the cave. Iyusaka's face showed signs of caution yet he tried to mask it with a calming smile. "(I'm not really the kind of person who likes caves.....)" Iyusaka thought to himself as he continued to put on a fake smile. Just then, a whole group of animated skeleton wearing shinigami uniforms appeared and attacked the group. The others were having an easy time destroying them, but they just kept on appearing out of the ground. Iyusaka's face became serious as he noticed the skeletons' zanpakuto and shinigami uniforms. "(What are these things? Why are they wearing shinigami uniforms?)" Iyusaka thought to himself while fending off the hordes of skeletons with his bare hands. There were too many however to fight using bare hands so Iyusaka unsheathed his zanpakuto. "Hado 54, Haien!" A purple ball of fire formed at the tip of Iyusaka's zanpakuto. Iyusaka then slashed horizontally as the ball was released, causing it to disperse into different directions, effectively killing most of the skeletons near him. However, more rose up from the ground. "We need to get out of here quickly and seal off this cave!" Iyusaka exclaimed to the group.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

Takeda gave a bloodthirsty grin at the gorilla. "Good! Not the kind to get defeated so easily huh?! That's the way I like it!" Takeda exclaimed as he shunpo'd next to the gorilla's left leg and slashed the leg shadow and the leg itself with great speed and power, then shunpo'd back to the others.

Sayori too was slashing away at the skeletons, becoming quite fustraited when they would just continue to come. She could't use any of her kido because they were in a cave, and she didn't want to cause the cave to collaps. It was then that Karek used an attack that got rid of all of the skeletons turning them all to dust. "Well, that was convinient." Sayori said only to frown when even more appeared. "We should take a hint from Kisune-taicho and get the heck out of here." She voiced still slicing away becomeing very annoyed. This was doing nothing but slowling them down, and at this point that was the last thing they needed.

 

Up in the sky, Yoru was still toying with the large cat he ws fighting from the begining, and frankly Yori was getting annoyed by that fact. So the female twin Sonido'd over to the overgrown cat and quickly decapitated it.

 

"Aww! Yori you're no fun!" Yori sighed.

 

"Brother, we don't have time to be messing around with these beast. Look, some of the shinigami's are leaving the cave." Yori pointed down where the three females were standing. "Also Rey-sama, I'm afraid you've gotten us mixed up. I'm Yori, and he's Yoru." The octava espada giggled.

Sven watched as his the bount turned to dust, but he knew that it wasn't over. As his senses dulled he simply closed his eyes and began to think. He ignored the sounds and even the feeling on his skin. He knew that his hierro was more then enough to protect him and so he wasn't worried. 'Well it seems that something isn't right. Usually these illusions are Reiatsu based since that is the basis for everything shinigami, hollow, quincy and even bount do. I guess the best way to counter it, is to show them my reiatsu and break through this illusion,' he thought.

 

Turantura was also feeling the same effects, but Sven did not know. Turantura was also mimicking his Espada, by closing his eyes and focusing on his plan for escape. By closing off their senses, the illusion could be seen as weakened, though it was probably not. However as they both focused on using their reiatsu, they slowly broke out of the illusion. Suddenly Sven's reiatsu spiked clearly and a red aura shown around him. The reiatsu in the air around him became a slow rolling mist off his body as it touched him. He opened his eyes to see Turantura's white aura showing. He too was breaking through the illusion, though at a slower pace. Sven turned to face the two bounts.

 

"I guess it is time I show you who I am," he said as he opened the small button on his shirt. A 3 could be seen on the right upper side of his chest. He sheathed his zanpakuto and held out his palm to them. "I guess it can't be helped. I must kill you both," he said with a slight sigh. He began to charge a cero in his palm and as he did so he kept his eyes on the bount, seeing what they would do. Then he used sonido to appear in front of the one without the flaming sword in hand. He grabbed the bount with his open hand and thrust the cero into her gut. "Cero," he stated as the cero exploded through his body.

 

Turantura opened his eyes as the illusion broke off. When he did, he saw Sven attack and only stood their with a smirk on his face. "They've done it now," he said to himself.

Akiyama rushed at the beast as Takeda finished his strike. "Takeda! Cover Rnaki! I'll finish this thing off!" Not waiting for acknowledgement from Takeda, Akiyama leapt at the beast from the side of its injured arm. He slashed at the beast's neck, specifically the jugular; if the beast failed to swat him away, which was likely due to the condition of his arm, the speed he was hurtling towards it at, and his reflexes, he would most likely kill it, or at least cause it a mortal wound.

Rey laughed, smacking himself in the forehead with his left hand as he ripped a tree out of the ground and tossed it casually at a group of cats with his right hand. The tree flew at more than 30 MPH. "Sorry, Yori. Anyways, are we going to keep playing around, or should we wrap this up?"

Saren was too busy fending the attacks to have heard Karek's comments, nor the other captains. He knew something was wrong from the get go, but he didn't have too much of a clue. It wasn't until he shot three more skeletons down that he knew what was going on. They were not really in a cave! They were actually being held in a cage of sorts that has set the illusions around them. No wonder the skeletons reform even after being broken to nothing.

 

"Everyone! Stop what you're doing. This isn't a real cave. We're being manipulated!" Saren shouted out frantically around him.

 

Kisune, Rogue, and Christine who were supposed to have made it outside of the 'cave' found themselves back where they came from, near Saren and the others. The wave of skeletons around them were still coming, but at a much slower rate, suggesting that something was slowing them down, but what? Saren was still too busy fighting of the skeletons to pinpoint the real cause. He needed time to concentrate, but there's just to many skeletons for him to conjure up one of his sensing tricks. Something must be done quick, or they would all be trapped.

 

Meanwhile, Yomi was finding it hard to fight more and more, as if he was easily being fatigued. Something must be up. He let Akiyama, Takeda and Rnaki do most of the fighting for him, focusing on the possible factors. And then it hit him. They were in the real world, which means that they have LIMITERS put on them. No wonder they can't even beat the gorilla beast easily. They were not as strong as they should've been if they were in Soul Society. Yomi quickly reached for his communicator.

 

"Saren. Status report. and also, please advise Kisune-san to order the removal of the limiters. Its going to take a while before the limiters actually get removed." Yomi said, but he heard static. Wherever Saren was, or the rest of his group, they were out of reach by the communicators. What was happening?

 

"Takeda-san, Rnaki-san, Akiyama-san we're up to our nose in trouble here. We have our limiters in place. We'd best defeat our foes fast." Yomi remarked, stabbing his sword into the ground. "Shatter the Earth, Tatsu no Koku!"

 

His zanpakutou immediately transformed into an elegant, brown, scythe that doesn't seem to absorb any form of light in its body or blade. It stood menacingly, taller than Yomi himself, and certainly didn't look to friendly. Yomi looked calm, however, as he pointed the scythe towards the gorilla.

 

"This should stop its movements, Takeda-san, Akiyama-san." Yomi said, sending the scythe to cascade down towards the muddy ground. "2nd Hour, Ground Breaker!"

 

The ground that Tatsu no Koku hit suddenly exploded into a multitude of larger slabs, forming into solidified rectangular pieces of earth that circled around Yomi. He then pointed the other tip of his scythe towards the gorilla. "3rd Hour, Shackling Dragon!"

 

The slabs of earth around Yomi formed a huge block of dragon made of earth out of the rectangular pieces, hurling it towards the gorilla. The Slabs of earth then scattered as it reach about 3 feet from the target, forming massive earthen shackles that clasped around the gorilla's hands and feet, completely shutting it down. The gorilla tried to move, but the shackles proved to be powerful enough to stop it.

 

"Kill it now!" Yomi shouted at them.

Zasalamel was already yawning when another mountain lion tried to attack from behind. Of course, it was futile, because Zasalamel's hierro was already charged. The feral cat flew away without much of an effort, hitting the other in its pack. There was so many things to do, and Zasalamel was getting extremely bored. He sat down and watched the exit to the cave. He was wondering why Saren and his group were not yet out when clearly they shouldn't find tunnels too hard, given Saren's quincy lineage. Zasalamel was privy to what Saren can do, after all.

 

"Man, this is getting boring. Can we finish them off now? I'm kinda curious what's taking our shinigami pals a long time." Zasalamel said, turning off his magnetic hierro. He then suddenly glowed white, charging his hierro positive, attracting nearby mountain lions uncontrollably towards him like a magnet attracts metal.

 

"Sorry. I love cats, but we need to get going." Zasalamel remarked sadly, drawing out his zanpakutou. As the mountain lions came within sword range, Zasalamel flicked his wrist, and twisted his body, performing a weird circular motion of blood and gore. Limbs and body parts of mountain lions flew out everywhere, and blood rained down on the other Espada and Arrancars present. Zasalamel himself was nearly covered in blood. In a matter of moments, he stopped.

 

The aftermath of the attack was incredibly brutal. Because the cats were magnetized, even severed limbs were being attracted to Zasalamel, and the result was carnage. Blood literally splattered on the floor. Zasalamel quickly wiped his sword with his blood-stained trench coat, and gave the other Espadas a quick grin from inside his bandaged face.

 

"Well, you can have those," Zasalamel pointed to the remaining 6 mountain lions, all of which looked undecided whether to attack or flee, "I'm going to check on our friends down there in a while."

Uwaki stood there the entire time not even unsheathing his zanpoutou. He watched as the others struggled to fight the gorilla. "I shouldn't have to fight if this worm doesn't." Uwaki said pointing to Kaosu. Kaosu hadn't even bothered to attack because he heard Yomi say that reaitsu based attacks would fail.

 

"You idiot, I haven't attacked because it would be useless! My attacks are reaitsu based. Yomi said those attacks will fail." Uwaki sighed when he realized that it was perfectly logical for Kaosu to do nothing because that is all he could do. Uwaki then proceeded to unsheathe his Zanpokutou.

 

""Germinate Hanazakari!" Uwaki said in a chant like voice. His zanpokutou then became like a metallic vine and stretched to the gorilla. The vine shot up his nose and entered directly to the brain. The vine then wrapped the brain and grew spikes piercing the brain from many places at once instantly killing the gorilla. This was only able to be done since the gorilla was held down by the shackles.

 

 

Adilei deep in the jungle felt the presence of a group nearby. The reaitsu felt somewhat like hers. Schlange sealed back into it sheath along her leg and she stealthily sprinted to the location of the sudden burst of reaitsu. Upon reaching the group she found a group of strange people. She new that the weren't shinigami since that didn't have Zanpokutou, but they didn't have masks to be hollows either. She figured she would watch them a bit longer to see what kind of power they possessed. Little did she know that they were bount's just like her.

 

 

Reifujin looked at the oncoming fireball. She shot out two cero's from her mouth towards it then Sonidoed away from it. She hoped that the cero's would obliterate it but just in case she wanted to get out of its line of fire because after all it was quite large. "Darling, your so amazing at getting your comrades into trouble by not watching what your doing." She said smiling. She looked down at the espada and they appeared to be in trouble, but she new they could handle it so she didn't bother to engage in the fight.

 

Baldur followed the group of bount. He didn't say a word he only kept walking. There was a lot going on in his mind. He knew that he wanted to get this artifact because Fui would be most pleased with him. So he was going to do anything he needed to to bring it back with him.

Karek's eyes widened upon hearing that they were being manipulated. "What?" Karek said in shock. He then stood up, or at least tried to get himself up. When he did stand up, there were more skeletons coming at him. For now, he couldn't use another sound burst like the one previously, so he had to unsheathe his zanpakutou. As they came at him, he did a circular spin, slicing into the bodies of the skeletons. They fell around his feet in halves but soon reformed. "Darn it." Karek muttered. He used shunpo and moved away over to where Saren was standing. "

 

"Saren. IF I give you enough time, would you be able to sense out who it is that is manipulating us?" Karek asked him. He had a few tricks up his sleeves to stop the skeletons from coming at them. He had two types of barriers that he could use, one with his zanpakutou and one without. Using the one with his zanpakutou would tire him out less, but he didn't want to use it yet, he didn't want anyone to know of his zanpakutou's abilities besides the Captain-Commander.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the jungle, the Bounts had begun moving forward while still waiting for a response from Reinhardt. "Reinhardt is in charge now according to Master Fui. He will tell us whether or not we should head that way." Kaishi said to Silvia. Kaishi's eyes seemed to flash blue as he said this. He wasn't trying to be intimidating, he was only picking up a signal that his doll had sent to him. The ground infront of him began moving up and down slowly once more, while reiatsu flared up from the spot. -------------------------------------------------------------------------

Asaka watched Sven as he began to stir, and saw his reiatsu building up around his body. She then knew that he was breaking out of the illusion, but she wasn't sure just how much time there was until he would break out fully. The, when he finally did, she uttered a gasp. "Run Kasaka. Warn Master Fui!" Asaka ordered her brother when suddenly, Sven was in front of her. She jumped back to avoid his hand, even knocking it aside as it came to grab her, but she was too slow to stop the cero that blasted out. As it came towards her, she held her hand out towards her brother, who only stared in shock. When he reached his hand out to hold hers, the cero washed over her body, decimating her completely. Her doll, without it's master remaining simply shattered into thin air, becoming spiritual particles which seemed to move into Kasaka.

 

"Asaka NO!" Kasaka called out. He then turned towards Sven, a look of utter hatred visible on his face. "You killed my sister. Now I'll kill you." Kasaka said, raising his hand into the air. Wärmekönig burst into flames and quickly moved around Kasaka, forming a powerful burning fire storm. The storm circled around him, becoming a huge spinning vortex. "DIE!" his voice roared from within the spinning vortex. As he said this, golden flames with purple reiatsu lining it's edges rushed out, straight at Sven and moving towards Turantura as well. It was moving at incredible speeds, that higher than a shunpo and near the sonido of a low tier Espada. Kasaka was protected within the fire typhoon spinning around him. The ground underneath him was even melting from the intensity of the flames. He was truly upset, and the purplish-golden flames now surrounding him was evidence of that.

 

Kasen who was in the air watching this, his mouth open in excitement and awe. "Cool!" he said, clapping his hands for the fireworks show. "Sven is always so quick. Now I wanna see what that other guy can do." Kasen said, watching with interest. He turned to look at Reifujin when she said something to him about getting his comrades in danger. "Hey, I warned you though." he said, a smile forming on his face. He turned back to the battle, watching it with even more interest now.

 

Then he remembered what Kasaka had said about going off to search for something. He cupped his hands to his mouth and yelled down to Sven "Sven! We have to go. This guy says there's a treasure that he was trying to stop us from getting!" He knew Sven was in a battle, and that was the reason why he did it. He wanted to irritate him. It was fun for him.

Note: Kasaka and Asaka have a special bond as twins. When one dies, the other takes control of the others' doll and their stats jump up from that. Kasaka now gains like +5 to his total stats. So it's kinda like Asaka became Kasaka in a way.

As soon as Kisune reentered the cave holding Christine and Rogue, he knew something was wrong. He still had set them down while Christine threw her fit. However when Saren said something about being manipulated. He saw that Saren was needing time to concentrate on locating them based on his slowing down of attacking. "Girls I would step back if I was you," he told Rogue and Christine. Christine had the look of why the heck should I, but Rogue grabbed her and moved her backwards. "Saren I will give you time to find out the cause of all this," he called to Saren. Then he unsheathed his zanpakuto and said, "Burn, Furendoregan." His zanpakuto's blade suddenly changed into a metal flame blade. Then a mass of purple flames rushed out from around him and spread along the group before hardening. "This should hold for a little while," he said with a smirk. Every few seconds, more flames rushed to realign the dome around them. "We don't have much time, the dome can be broken through. Find the problem now Saren," he said.

Silvia wasn't too happy when Kaisi said that Reinhardt was in charge. "Well what am I chopped liver," she said in anger and turned to face Kaishi. Then she pointed her finger at him and said, "You would be more willing to put me in charge if I was 'older' and hotter." She then gave a smirk and stuck her tongue out at the corner of her mouth. Then her face got serious. "It seems someone is trying to spy on us," she said in almost a whisper of a voice, "Let's let them watch until we want to attack." She could smell the reiatsu of Adilei, but couldn't make out if it was shinigami, hollow, quincy or another bount. Adilei was just a bit out of Silvia's range to do that.

Sven just lowered his cero arm to his side while his other arm went to his side from being smacked away. He looked at the other Bount with no emotion on his face. His red aura was still around him, what was Sven planning to do. Then as the fire storm appeared, Sven gave a wide smirk, almost a smile. "Fly in the skys Deragonu." he called out as he unsheathed his zanpakuto. A large shockwave spread out as Sven released his resurrection. Sven suddenly became coated in a white, scale like armor all over his body. His mask formed over his face and looked like that of a dragon's skull. A long spiked white tail grew off his tail bone. Meanwhile his hands and feet become claws, as spikes appeared along his spine. Large white wings formed off his back, but were retracted.

 

As the bount came at him, he simply stood there. His ressurrection could withstand this large scale and unprecise attack easily. When the bounts attack hit, Sven reached out with his clawed hands and grabbed the bounts throat. "You should have been more wise then attacking me with such a large scale elemental attack. My resurrection allows me to withstand it. You are pathetic," he said to the bount. Then with his other arm, he stabbed his claw and wrist through the Bount's chest with a single precise jab.

 

Turantura watched the whole thing and smirked. Just before they had come, they had been training. Mostly to boast Sven's resurrection abilities while also boasting his own. When Sven disappeared into the storm, Turantura sonidoed to the roof as to not get hit by whatever was coming at him. He however could in a sense see the fight as he used his Pesquisa to gauge the reiatsu levels. When the Bount's reiatsu dropped, he knew Sven had dealt the final blow.

Kasaka had felt the powerful surge of reiatsu from Sven even while within the fire storm spinning around him. He cackled madly, his power simply growing more. The golden flames raged even more, the purple hue on them growing. When the blasts of fire hit Sven, it immediately decayed his hierro where it touched him. True, it was elemental, but it also had the abilities of Asaka's doll mixed into it, and so upon touching him, it ate away the reiatsu fueling his hierro and devoured it, at a much quicker pace than it had eaten away reiatsu before.

 

As Sven reached his hand out, the fire storm hardened, blasting out even more to push him back. Again, the purple hue on the golden flames ate away at the hierro on Sven's hand. Then, when Sven's hand was coming towards Kasaka, he could do nothing, but one thing. "I can no longer live without you Asaka." his voice echoed. The fire storm exploded, blasting up into the sky for miles. The explosion covered an incredibly large radius, and shockwaves moved out, blasting into the sides of the warehouse. Some shockwaves even moved towards Kasen, aiming to swallow him up, but he simply formed a cero within his hand, concentrated it, and then shot it forward at the shockwave coming at him. The shockwave was cut in half, passing along him on both sides. "This guy..." Kasen muttered as the cero blade retracted. He noticed how the cero blade was half eaten away as it disappeared within his hands.

 

Sven, being in such close proximity to the explosion would suffer minor effects if he did not find some way to protect himself, for the purple hue on the flames would eat away at his hierro during the explosion and thus leave him open to the explosion's detrimental effects. "Told ya we shoulda left now." Kasen said, eyeing the large cloud of smoke left after the explosion. He could see the huge crater left there as well. "Wonder if he survived." he said.

"No." Kaishi said to Silvia. "Reinhardt is more powerful than you and he has been with Master Fui along with Baldur. That is why we should listen to him." Kaishi said, his eyes once again glowing. He pointed his hands forward, and the ground before him shifted up and down at such a quick pace that it began tearing up as it moved towards where Adilei was. From behind Adilei, a huge dark blue colored worm's head burst up, it's mouth drooling with saliva. It had the Bount crest on it's head inscribed in black. It stared at Adilei, it's mouth sucking in the air. Soon, Adilei would feel slightly drained, and realize that the worm was sucking in more than the air.

 

[spoiler=OOC:] On a serious note. Let the battle develop. It was supposed to take longer, but oh well. I changed my plans and now both of them are dead.

Iyusaka looked around the area which had turned into a cage of sorts. Iyusaka remained calm as he searched around the area while listening to the others. Iyusaka also noticed the movements of the skeletons had slowed. "(I wonder who created this cage, it seems to be slowing the movements of not only the skeletons but also myself and the others. Yet, the skeletons' slow movements are more visible. Is it because we have high spiritual pressure? I wonder....)" Iyusaka thought critically as he continued to fend off against the hordes of skeletons. Iyusaka then shunpo'd next to Karek and Saren. "Well, it seems we're really in a jam aren't we? Karek, have you noticed your movements been slower than usual? It's not that noticeable but if you really concentrate you can tell slight differences. Anyways, we'll have to do our best to defend Saren." Iyusaka then shunpo'd towards the skeletons and began slashing at them with fast speed.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

"Limiters?! Damn it, I forgot about that.... No wonder our attacks aren't doing much damage. If we activate Gentei Kaijo, shouldn't we ask the SDRI to set up a barrier?" Takeda asked. Takeda then saw Uwaki using his zanpakuto to kill the gorilla. "AW DAMN IT!!!! I WAS GOING TO KILL IT!!!! Gah, oh well....."

 

-Meanwhile-
