Takeda stared back at Yomi and Rnaki with serious eyes. "Well we should get going soon after Kaosu and Uwaki come through the Senkaimon. I don't know 'bout you two, but I sense and very heavy and dense reiatsu. Even though I might not be an expert on reiatsu, this specific signature is very intense, stronger than the Captain-Commander and Bount leader even by a substantial amount. This is probably the Heigou, from what I heard, I knew it was powerful, but this is just monstorous." Takeda stated with his rarely heard serious tone.

Rnaki shook his head for a second trying to clear it. he didnt know why but it had started hurting a second ago.

"Hey guys it may seem crazy but I've got this feeling like we're being watched." Rnaki said as he drew his zanpukto."That and yes i can sense it too Takeda it is pretty scary." Rnaki could feel the emense power it was overwhelming. It felt like it was going to crush him.

Takeda's face lit up with surprise. "We're being... watched?...." Takeda stated as he turned around in different directions trying to see if there's anyone else besides them three here, however, Takeda wasn't able to see anything. "Well whoever's here, they sure are able to hid themselves and their Spiritual Pressure well. HEY!!! WHOSEVER THERE BETTER COME OUT YA COWARD!!!!" Takeda yelled out loudly as he unsheathe his zanpakuto and slashed at the nearby bushes and trees, making them fall to the jungle floor. "Gah, gotta keep our guard up!" Takeda exclaimed.

Christine gave a short reply as Karek had asked her a question, "Bug off, shinigami scum." Then she decided to answer the other shinigami's question since it was more formal and poilte. "I am Christine Nuaga. A Quincy in which you shinigami scum were not able to kill," she said this with a lot of anger in here voice. It was obvious that she disliked the shinigami a lot, but since she had not gone straight to attacking she must be ok to be near for now. Then as Saren drew his Seele Schneider she drew her own, spinning it into her finger. "Why are you on a mission with shinigami, Quincy?" she asked with more anger then when she had responded to the shinigami's, "Don't you know what they did to our family's and friends?"

 

She was now getting upset as the thoughts of the large battle came back to her. She had seen her friends die next to her before she was forced to escape. Her eyes got a bit teary and then they stopped. Then as Saren killed a soul and the shinigami from earlier talked out it, she then knew something was going on. "Tell me. Why exactly are you here? Because if you don't, I will have to force it out of you. And I'd rather not have to fight another Quincy, especially one like you," she said to Saren.

 

Kisune and Rogue simply let Christine talk until she had finished talking. Kisune spoke up first, "How about this. You come with us and I'll tell you what's going on. We have no time to waste and if you try to waste that time, I will waste your life," he spoke with seriousness and authority, something a Captain has. Rogue looked at Kisune and didn't want him to get hurt, especially when the mission was so important.

As Kasen began fighting the Bount, Sven decided to watch the fight instead of help. Turantura was laughing the entire time because he wanted to see Kasen get injured. Sven knocked Turantura over the top of the building onto the ground near the Bount. "You can go fight," he told him just after pushing him. Turantura landed on the ground and brushed himself off. "Fine," he said as he drew his zanpakuto and rushed at the Bount while the doll was concentrated on Kasen.

Silvia followed Reinhardt and appeared next to him. "Oh, where are we?" she asked him, though full knowing where they were. She placed the bottle in her pocket and Drache spoke to her, "This place is no place for me. I think I will stay hidden until need be. Eat some human souls so we can get stronger." She gave a giggle and gave a light pet to the glitter on her shirt which was Drache. "Ok silly," she said playfully.

Kaosu placed on his head set and adjusted it so it fit comfortably. He then looked to see that Uwaki was the only one behind him and he was putting on his head set as well. "I don't trust you Quincy so don't try anything cause I will be watching you." Uwaki said pointing at Kaosu. Kaosu grinned then gave Uwaki a thumbs up. He lowered his hand then jumped through the portal leaving Uwaki. "Jeez, some shinigami are just a hindrance." Kaosu said to himself. He then appeared by the others and seconds later Uwaki arrived. "Well whats the hold up?" Kaosu said jokingly to the others. Kaosu closed his eyes and began to concentrate "Hmm.. I'm starting to become more acoustomed to sensing reaitsu. I sense some thick reaitsu dead ahead but it seams more like a cluster of-" Kaosu stoped he realized that the group he was talking about was group A. "Uhh I mean," Kaosu turned to face the right seeing that he was facing the wrong direction. "There!" Kaosu pointed forward. "I sense dense reaitsu, possibly a horde of hollows.. They have to be near the artifact due to the reaitsu it emits," Kaosu said.

 

Deep withen the forest Adilei stood. There were ten hollows around her, none of high strength. Schlange shot from the ground undearneath each hollow swallowing them whole, where the acids withen schlanges stomach broke them down quickly and their reaitsu was absorbed. "Why didn't I come here sooner?" Adilei giggled. More hollow began to apear around her

"Well it is nice to meet you Christine." Iyusaka stated as he gave a calm smile. "I see you're not so fond of shinigami either like Saren over here. Well, at least there is one Shinigami Saren holds in high regards." Iyusaka stated as he glanced towards Sayori and smiled. He then heard what Kisune had told the Quincy girl, and Iyusaka shunpo'd over to Kisune, Karek, Sayori, and Rogue. "Make sure not to give her all of the information of this mission. Afterall, she might be a doll in disguised, but of course I doubt it, but still, better safe than sorry." Iyusaka said quietly to the four.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

Takeda saw the arrival of Kaosu and Uwaki. "Good, you guys are here. It looks like this jungle is full of surprises and Rnaki said that he sensed someone watching us, so we gotta be on our guard." Takeda stated as he sheathed his zanpakuto yet still keeping a good grip on it.

"Oh Dears, Fight nicely." Reifujin said catchign up and seeing the fight break out. She looked at Sven and tilted her head. "Lovely how you make others do your work." She said chipperly then smiled at him. Her smile half concealed by her feathery mask. She began to blow a bubble and chew her gum as she watched the fight.

 

Baldur walked by Reinhardt he was completly quiet. He needed to be fully concentrated and conceal his reaitsu. He was not great at doing so so this required full concentration.

Karek watched Christine closely, taking in her every movement. Then he heard her call him "shinigami scum." "Scum am I? Heh...if you say so." Karek said and removed his hand from the hilt of his zanpakutou. He looked around the area, checking it out more. He was surprised by the arrival of the lion like beast, but after it was quickly killed by Saren, he had no more need to be cautious of it. Seems it can be taken out easily with one fatal hit. Better take note of that.

 

Then, he turned his attention to Iyusaka when he began speaking to him and the other three Captains. "Got it. I won't say a word." Karek said. If anyone said anything that they were supposed to, he would simply speak to them as he had before the Captain-Commander that time when he didn't want anyone to tell of Saren's knowledge of the spy.

 

He then stepped forwards and looked around some more before closing his eyes. "Why can't I head anything?" he spoke within himself. "It's because you're not focusing hard enough. Your own reiatsu is being blocked out by the dense reiatsu of this place." came a deep voice in response to Karek's question. The owner of this voice was unknown, but it was most likely Karek's zanpakutou which he was speaking too. He continued listening, gathering chakra to his ears to pick up any faint sounds.

"Ha. You're too slow." Kasen exclaimed, now flying within the air. The lion continued blasting golden balls of fire at Kasen, missing him each time. Kasen did loop-de-loops, continuing to dodge the balls of flame which flew at him. After finishing one loop around in the air, he turned around, only to see a large ball of flames being gathered in the lions mouth. The lion then roared and blasted it forwards, but somehow the roar split apart the gigantic ball so that it became many smaller balls of flame. These flew quickly at Kasen and with extreme speed.

 

"Cool. I didn't think you could do something like that." he said as he lifted up the sleeves on both of his hands and held them forwards infront of him. Red reiatsu began charging within both of his black fingerless gloves, and when it grew to the size of each of his hands he quickly spun around. "Bala Top." he said from within his spinning form. Red bala flew out in every direction as he spun, creating enough Bala to match the amount of fireballs heading towards him. The bala continued to fly out with incredible speed the faster he spun. Soon, there was a bala heading for each and every fireball formed from the larger ball of golden flames the lion had shot. The attacks collided within the air and exploded, creating a cloud of smoke.

 

Meanwhile, on the ground, Kasaka stared up at Kasen, gritting his teeth as he did. His doll had used one of it's most powerful techniques, and it had been so easily countered. What was this kid? Just then, he heard the crash from Turantura landing and looked to see him dashing towards him. Kasaka smirked as the man came forward, drawing his hand into the air in front of him. The tail of his doll became flames and quickly dispersed, moving into his own hand. The flames then took shape and formed a whip like blade with a golden hilt while the entirety of the blade itself was black. Kasaka whipped this forward towards Turantura while jumping back, cackling madly as he did. "Come on filthy hollow." he called out as he slashed down four times with the whip, sending the blade slashing into Turantura first from above, then to his right, to his left, and finally coming at him from his feet.

 

In the warehouse, Kaishi watched the other Bount go into the portal device. He put the vials which Reinhardt had given him into his pockets and headed forwards, walking through the portal as well. Like Reinhardt and Silvia, he appeared within the jungles of South America. As soon as he appeared, he gripped the butterfly pin on his red hoodie and then called out "Zeige Dich, Schmetterling." There was a flash of blue reiatsu and then when the flash was gone, there was a large hole in the ground in front of Kaishi. He lifted his right hand, pointing in the air in front of them. "Schmetterling senses powerful reiatsu that way." Kaishi said.

Akiyama nodded his head in a sharp bow. "Hai, Commander-Sama. Oh, and the Arrancar didn't really help me, per se. He just stopped me and started a conversation. I'm not sure why he didn't just attack me, considering that he didn't get any useful recon off of me. It was quite strange. Anyways, I should be going. Thank you for the information, Commander-Sama."

 

Akiyama rose from his kneel, turning away from the Captain-Commander and activating Shunpo. He raced out of the Fourth Division Barracks, sprinting to the Thirteenth Division.

 

Upon reaching it, he jogged inside and saw Sho. "Sho, I don't have much time. Can you brief me on the mission the Captains are being sent on? The Captain-Commander wanted me to join them."

Rey laughed out loud. "Sure, Zasalamel. I'll meet you there. Can we stop by the Amazon? I was hoping to pick up some Pirahnas to drop down the back of Sven's shirt."

 

Rey stepped through the Garganta, emerging beside Zasalemel, Yoru, and Yori. "So, what are we up to here?"

Christine gave an angry look then agreed to go along with the shinigami. "Fine then, but I won't like it. Even if Saren does," she said. She walked over to the man called Kisune and waited for the answer she wished to know. "Well what exactly is this mission of yours?" she quickly asked since she didn't want to spend too much time there. She kept the Seele Schneider in her hand, but had it lowered.

 

Kisune then said, "Might as well put that away. You shouldn't need it for some time." He watched as she put it back where she had grabbed it from before her continued. "We are all searching for a mysterious item that has a defensive mechanism whenever you try to track it. However it was last known to be in these jungles and we are trying to recover it. The reason that it can't be done alone is this mechanism and so that is why we are in a group. Saren is here to help with that because he is capable of tracking such items," Kisune explained the best he could without revealing the entire reason, but giving the details of the general mission.

 

Christine nodded and accepted the explaination. "I'll go ahead and stay with you guys only for my Quincy bretheren. Otherwise I would abandon you all and leave you to your business," she stated. Then she went up to Saren. "You look mighty young, might I ask how old you are and where you have been after the war?" she asked.

Turantura smirked as the bount formed a whip from his doll. "Not very bright are you," he said as he used Sonido and appeared behind the Bount slashing into his back while he had jumped back. "You see, I'm not just any Fraccion around. I am the Trecia Espada's Fraccion. One of the strongest you'll get to fight," he mocked. He jumped back to see what the Bount would do. He would have to be careful since his doll was in combat and he was concentarted somewhere else.

Great, we just got here and weird things are already starting to attack us. She thought after Saren took care of the strange hybrid looking animal. Once that was taken care of, she looked at the new quincy, who introduced herself as Christine Nuaga. She only sighed and completely ignored her. Not that she had a thing against quincy's, but this one didn't have her trust like Saren did, and to put it frankly she would've felt much better if she didn't come along. Although, this way we could keep an eye on her. I know I will. We've already been tricked once by a doll, and I'd be damned if that happens again

 

She closed her eyes. "As interesting as seeing another Quincy is, we need to move. With all of us standing here it's only a matter of time before more of those animal looking things come for us." She then looked at Christine. "I'm going to be frank with you, I don't trust you at all I just think it was to much of a coincidence that you appeared. Kisune-taicho was generous, because I wouldn't have told you anything. So just make a note that I will be keeping a close watch on you." Sayori answered not caring if she was rude.

 

"Ohh, looks like things are heating up down there!" Yoru giggled still upside down. "I hope they start moving it's getting boring up here!"

 

"Don't forget, we can't give ourselves away. Otherwise the game will be over, and that will be no fun at all. Besides, I am enjoying the sights." She turned her head to Zasalamel, "Right, Zasalamel-sama?"

Karek opened his eyes and stopped listening. He had made out some sort of faint sounds within the jungle. He had heard, not the random howling and outcries of the animals within the jungle, but speech. He had heard someone talking. He couldn't tell what they were saying however, because the speakers were too far away. For him to hear them, he would need full concentration as well as more reiatsu. The reiatsu surrounding him was suppressing his ability to concentrate his own reiatsu in order to increase the frequency with which he could hear sounds. When he saw the others move off, he quickly jogged off to meet up with them. Upon reaching them, he walked behind slowly, still trying to focus and strain to hear the sounds. He wouldn't alert the others yet, for the speech he heard could have just been from Team B. No, he would wait first until he could get a better signal.

As Turantura moved behind Kasaka and slashed at his blade his own was met by a purple blade whose hilt was black with purple cloth wrapped around the blade all the way down the hilt. The blade belonged to a woman in a skin tight purple outfit with long dark purple hair which reached down to her back, purple eyes, smooth pale skin, and long purple fingernails. Dripping from the blade was a purple liquid which ate away at the ground as it touched it. The woman stared into Turantura's eyes as she then pushed up with her own blade and slashed to her left, parrying Turantura and sending him away as well as getting some of the purple liquid on him if he did not somehow dodge this.

 

Kasaka immediately turned around upon hearing the clashing of blades behind his back. "Nice one Asaka." he said upon seeing his sister's doll standing there. "Hah. We're not just any Bount. My sister and I have the strongest combos you'll ever fight against." Kasaka stated as he lifted the whip which was in his hands. To be able to form a weapon from only the tail of his doll instead of the whole of it showed that his power had increased. The same could be said with his sister, but that was unsure for she had not even used all of her doll's powers the last time. The whip burst into flames which then reconstructed and formed into a golden blade with a black hilt.

 

Asaka suddenly appeared next to her brother. "I've got you covered brother." she said, staring at Turantura with cold eyes. "Alright." Kasaka said as he slammed his blade down onto the ground. A wave of fire rushed forward from the point of impact, aiming to swallow up Turantura if it reached him. Asaka's doll slashed it's own sword, sending with it a large wave of the same purplish liquid as before.

 

Meanwhile, as the cloud of smoke cleared, Kasen was seen pushing himself through, staring at the lion, which was now charging a rather gigantic ball of golden flames within it's mouth, with a gleeful smile. It then blasted this large ball of flames towards Kasen. The ball of golden flames moved with incredible speed as it headed in Kasen's direction. Kasen quickly sonido'd, moving himself upwards and over the ball of flames. He now saw it continuing and heading towards Reifujin who had just appeared out of the Garganta. "Uh-oh. Sorry!" Kasen called out, cupping his hands to his mouth.

Iyusaka stepped between the groups in an attempt to avoid any sudden conflicts. "Please, there may be some dangerous creatures out here that may be attracted to us if we allow any conflicts to occur. Let's just hurry and complete our mission shall we?" Iyusaka pleaded as he continued forward, signaling everybody to start moving. Soon Karek caught up with the others. "Well Karek, you might as well tell me one of your hilarious stories of your missions while we travel. It's been awhile and I've been meaning to catch up, hehe." Iyusaka stated.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

Izearya watched as Kasen and Turantura battled it out with Kasaka. "Make sure to hurry it up...... we don't want to attract unwanted attention to ourselves and have our cover blown......" Izearya stated in an emotionless voice as usual.

As Rnaki looked around he felt the presince of what ever was watching them leave. he let go of hi zanpkuto and turned towords Takeda.

"Somethings up here we've been here for a good while now and yet besides these strange animals we havnt run into anything." rnaki said. "Somethings wrong I think the emeny is focusing on the other group." He said sounding worryed.

Takeda felt the sense of the heavy spiritual pressure disappeared right after Rnaki had finished his sentence. "That's strange, that heavy spiritual pressure is gone....." Takeda then directed his attention to Rnaki. "And yeah, that's pretty strange why we're only seeing these weird creatures instead of any hollows or Bounts. Well, we should get going, we don't want to wait around here for too long. Yomi, let's get going already, we wouldn't want the enemy to get to the heigou first." Takeda stated.

Sorry for that. I'll be moving the plot along now.. :D

 

 

Saren shook his head. Whatever the other decide on, they can decide for themselves. Something wasn't right where they are right now. He knew that the two spots they landed on was the best spot to land, but somehow, there's this scathing feeling that something was watching them from afar. His gut feel was usually correct, but he didn't want to instill panic to the people around him. He'd have to be sure, somehow.

 

Just to be sure, Saren opened up his palm and condensed the spirit particles around it. He then drew out his bow and pointed it at the ground. The condensed spirit particles were then shot into the ground, causing a crack to form. Saren then examined the crack and the trajectory of the arrow. Upon touching the ground, he knew what was it that was wrong. Along the crack, where the arrow touched the ground, were traces of faintly blue residual spirit particles. It was nearly invisible, and the only thing that allows Saren to see it was because his senses were sensitive to reiatsu. The residual traces were bubbling, like a small puddle of acid.

 

"Hey. Listen up. Whatever happens, do not let any of those beast take a bite out of you. The spirit particles in this jungle is, in a way, mutated. Something caused the particles to change. Its not harmful when you use it as weapon like my arrows, but when it gets inside your body through wounds, it's going to be lethal." Saren explained seriously.

 

He then started walking north, following a trail of tall grass and thick vines. He drew out his Seele Schneider and proceeded to cutting up the vines and other obstacles on his path.

 

"Follow me, we have a lot of ground to cover."

 

Meanwhile, on Yomi's end, he was still waiting to see if someone else was dropping by. He's already taken into account the possibility of someone going along with them. There were still only three of them, and he knew that he'd have to get at least another one. But he couldn't wait any longer. Instead, he placed what looked like a small sphere below the Senkaimon. It glowed faintly in the dim light of the forest floor.

 

"That should allow whoever is coming that they're on the right direction. Only shinigamis can use it. Hopefully, someone else gets here. In any case, let's go." Yomi said, moving forward.

 

He drew out his zanpakutou and started hacking away at the vines and other organic obstacles on his path. He could've traveled by hopping on the branches, but it was too risky. He didn't know what the extent of the effects of the spirit particles around them, so he wasn't too keen on making any gamble. Twice has he spotted glowing red eyes in the distance, only to vanish when he got closer. Something wasn't right.

 

It wasn't until they reached a clearing that it became apparent what was wrong. Those pair of red eyes multiplied, and now surrounded their team. There were about 3 dozen pair of eyes around them, and when the sunlight reached through the thick canopy of the forest, it revealed 36 beasts of varying shapes and sizes. A look of hunger and feral aggression was present on their eyes. They just found food.

 

"Well, this couldn't get worse, could it?" Yomi said, readying himself.

 

It was then that the forest ground shook. To his right, Yomi could see trees getting uprooted one by one by an unknown force. It wasn't until the trees to his right got uprooted that he knew it was a massive beast. Standing more than 10-feet tall was a beast that existed only in the movies. It was a massive gorilla, with thick black hide and fangs dripping with blue fluids. Its eyes were red and certainly not looking too friendly. It beat its chest with its massive hands and pointed a finger towards Yomi and the group.

 

"Damn it." Yomi muttered, slashing away the nearest beast.

 

Above the jungle, in the safety of the magnetic field, Zasalamel was musing at the scenery. He was waiting for Rey to come out of the Garganta, which actually didn't take too long. Before he knew it, the Espada was there. Zasalamel clapped his hands, and started to make his way to the general direction that Saren was going. He was getting more curious about the Heigou and its abilities.

 

"Well, Rey-san. We're here to have fun. And me and the kids are playing a game of Sneak. We're going to follow the shinigamis to an artifact called Heigou, and then steal that artifact for ourselves!" Zasalamel clapped once again.

 

He started walking north, moving through the empty floor provided by the air, and his magnetic field went with him. He motioned for the other three Arrancars to follow him and expressly mentioned to them never to leave the magnetic field, stating that "Saren can detect presences from afar".

 

"By the way, Yori, yes. The sights are indeed wonderful. And Yoru, shinigamis can be boring at times. That's why if they bore me out too, I've got a special surprise for them waiting." Zasalamel said comically, opening a window-sized Garganta while walking.

 

Inside the Garganta are several weird looking hollows that seemed to be waiting. They all look different from the usual hollows seen in Hueco Mundo as they are somewhat akin to Arrancars. However, they don't have the reiatsu of an Arrancar. One would wonder what those are, but before any questions was raised, Zasalamel closed the window Garganta and proceeded to moving forward.

 

"You'll see them again later." Zasalamel said with malice.

Back at the 13th Division Barracks, Sho was about to close the Senkaimon when Akiyama arrived. Being the jumpy person that Sho was, he got startled when Akiyama suddenly spoke. He quickly fixed his robes and turned around, giving a bow towards the captain and immediately fixed himself.

 

"Ah yes, Captain Akiyama. Juukenjiro-dono and the rest of the Captains entered the gates to the south american jungle. You may use this one," Sho pointed to the Senkaimon to his right, "As this is where Juukenjiro-dono entered, along with Captain Takeda and Captain Rnaki."

 

Sho then gave another bow to the Captain before fixing his robes again.

Rnaki drew his zanpakutou nerversly and looked around seeing all the beasts.

"You know yomi you should never say it cant get any fing worse it always makes it get worse when you say that." Rnaki yelled as he yelled this he felt his zanpakutou hit the ground due to its weight. "Ok am i clear to unlease my Shikai cause other wise im not gonna be able to fight!' Rnaki yelled feeling a bit nervers.

Takeda looked around and saw a whole bunch of weird creatures. "Tsch, these guys are asking for it!" Takeda stated as he unsheathed his zanpakuto. He began to slash away at the creatures attacking him, killing two and wounding five in ten seconds. He was about to kill them if not for a strange rumbling sound. A giant gorilla came rushing out, its eyes looking at the group fiercely. "What the hell?! Gah! Damn it, why the hell is this stupid forest filled with some many weird creatures?!" Takeda then held his zanpakuto in a leaning forwards position. "Eat away, Kage-O Taberu-Hito!!!!" Takeda's zanpakuto released into its shikai. "Alright you damn ugly beasts, let's go!"

 

-Meanwhile-

 

Iyusaka paid close attention to all of Saren's actions and deductions. "Yes, you're right, we have to move now." Iyusaka stated as he moved forward.

Yomi pushed back a lion-sort of beast with one hand, before dispatching another with his sword. There were many of them there, but nothing a captain class shinigami can't handle. He glanced at Rnaki and nodded, which told him that he should also fight. From the corner of his eye, he also saw Takeda fighting. Well, there's little to say about Takeda. He's like a man born to fight, so Yomi wasn't worried. After another attempt at his neck by one of the beast, he did a 360 degree spin, pushing back the beast, then he jumped up to the sky and aimed at the Gorilla with his left index and middle finger.

 

"Hado #63, Raikoho!" Yomi exclaimed, sending a massive blast of yellowish lightning energy towards the chest of the beast.

 

As the Kido made contact, however, the beast looked unaffected. Instead, it gave Yomi a mocking gorilla-ish laughter. It seems the beasts were immune to reiatsu based attacks. Yomi quickly saw Takeda release his shikai. Somehow, the beast all turned toward him, and started to attack only him. Yomi suddenly had a thought.

 

"Takeda! Watch out! These beasts are attracted to reiatsu. And they're immune to it too. Don't use any reiatsu-based attacks, "Yomi glanced towards Rnaki, "You too, Rnaki-san. Use only your sword to kill them."

 

The gorilla didn't look to thrilled as Yomi divulge the secret. It charged towards the captain and attempted to crush him under its massive hands. Yomi evaded in time, but was blown away by the shockwave created by the massive hands when it made contact with the ground.

 

"Monkey see, monkey do." Yomi remarked, evading another attempt by the gorilla to bash his cranium.

Takeda stared back quickly at Yomi as he yelled out to him. "It's ammune to reiatsu-based attacks huh?!" Takeda then turned back and grabbed a dog-like creature as it pounced at him, breaking its back and tossing it. Takeda then faced the gorilla. "Hehe, then I guess this my kinda fight...." Takeda stated with a bloodthirsty grin on his face. "AHHH!!!!" Takeda then shunpo'd with lightning quick speed as he ran up the gorilla's arm and appeared in front of its chest. "Alright you ugly beast! Here I go!" Takeda exclaimed as he aimed a vertical strike towards the gorilla. The gorilla simply punched Takeda from his side, sending him back into a pile of trees. Takeda then stood up and wiped his mouth of blood. "Alright, this guy's really asking for it now!" Takeda then shunpo'd to the gorilla's shadow and struck down with immense force.

Rnaki closed his eyes for a second and put both hadns on his zanpukto.

"Let the world Feel pain no more and the power of death diminish. take the sacirfice of many turn to one and Ths hope for a new day come!" he yelled changing his zanpkuto into what looked like a plain staff. he quickly spun it in his hands turning it into a large scaple and smiled.

"time to do some medical work." he said as he bagan to slash at 4 of the beasts tearing through them with ease. he spun the scaple turning it into this time a large looking lamp.

"And now for the x-rays." he said as the lamp light up frying another 3 beasts.

Karek was focusing on the voices he had heard before when he heard Iyusaka's voice. It broke his concentration and his eyes opened up wide. He turned and looked towards Captain Iyusaka. "Ah..one of my missions? Alright." Karek said and smiled. "So the Captain-Commander sent me on a mission to take out some group of hollow who were capturing some city in North America, I think they call it. It's a pretty frosty place where he sent me. It was really cold there. Well anyway, I get there and it's not just some random hollow that're taking over the city, it's a bunch of five or six Arrancar." Karek said as he continued with the story. "Well anyway, I was kinda worried about this because I wasn't sure whether or not I could take them on by myself, so I ended up just watching them and taking note of their habits and movements for a couple of days. Then, after I note everything they're doing, I decide to bust into their main camping ground and take them all out when I realize I hadn't brought my zanpakutou with me." Karek went on. "I was in a real jam. I thought I was a goner for sure. Thought they were gonna cut my sweet beat short. Well, since I was already in there, I decided to just fight it out. I threw a couple of kidou at them here and there and used the powers my zanpakutou taught me to use outside of it when I didn't feel like calling on it." Karek said, jabbing right and left with his fists to emphasize his point. "In the end, there wasn't much of them left. There was one that put up a pretty good fight. I can't remember his name, but he was tough. Said he was a Privaron or something, and I could see that he was. He fought like he was on a whole different level from the other Arrancar. I got lucky to even come out of that one alive." Karek said, wiping his forehead as if he had sweat on it.

 

As he finished telling his story, he heard Saren call out to them and warn them not to let the reiatsu get into any wounds that they might get. "Don't have to worry about that. I'm not letting any of those beasts get near me." he said. He stopped walked and then closed his eyes once more, gathering more and more reiatsu to his ears to hear. He could make out the sounds a little better, but not by much.

Sayori nodded and followed behind Saren, listening to every word he said about the jungle. This jungle gave Sayori the creeps, and she hoped that they would be able to find the Heigou as soon as possible. "Saren, if by chance some of this reiatsu does get into one of our bodies, would it be possible to some how extract it?"

 

Yoru's eyes widened in glee at teh surprise Zasalamel had for the Shinigami if things got too boring. "Yes! You are the best Zasalamel-sama!" He giggled skipping after the two Espadas. Yuri followed behind, a smile on her face as well. "I hope they prove to be interesting....It seems like there is something going on somewhere else." She said more to her self, before running to catch up to Zasalamel.

Iyusaka was enjoying the story Karek was telling him, he even jotted down some exciting parts in a notepad. "Hehe, well that was quite some story Karek. I always make sure to jot down some parts for Midorame to study, he's writing a new book and the main character is based on you, hehe." Iyusaka stated as he continued to walk along slowly, waiting for the others to catch up with them two.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

In the Seireitei, Midorame continued to train Shimizu when suddenly he sneezed. "Gah..... What was that just now?..... I don't have a cold......." Shimizu then landed a hit with her zanpkuto handle right onto Midorame's head. {SMASH!!!!} "Uh-oh, Vice Captain Midorame are you alright?" Shimizu asked worryingly. "Gah..... yes I would love to accept this award......." Midorame said in a comical and delirious voice.

Akiyama nodded to Sho, muttering a quick "Thanks". He stepped through the Senkaimon, emerging in a forest of some sort. A short distance away, he could feel a powerful cluster of Reiatsu. Akiyama dashed off towards the cluster at as great a speed as he could muster.

 

In moments, Akiyama beheld a squad of Shinigami in combat with a group of animals. Takeda and Yomi were among the Shinigami. As Akiyama watched, Yomi tried to blast one of the beasts with a Kido, but the animal was apparently immune to the attack. Akiyama charged at the beast's back as Yomi shouted a warning to Takeda. As the beast struck Takeda, Akiyama saw another gorilla emerge from the forest. He sprung forward, leaping onto its back, wrapping his legs around its abdomen, covering its eyes with his left hand, and driving his Zanpakutou up through the weak skin on the bottom of its jaw with all of his strength. The blade went straight through its head, eight inches of steel poking out of the top of the beast's head.

 

Having already shifted its weight ahead to strike, the beast toppled straight forward. Akiyama unwrapped his legs as the beast fell, pushing off of its back as it crashed to the ground.

 

"Takeda-san. I see the beasts of the forest have been keeping you busy." Akiyama heard a roar from behind him, ducking straight down as a tiger lunged at the place where his head had been. As the beast soared over him, Akiyama stepped diagonally right and forward, his left arm shooting out to wrap around the beast's stomach. Akiyama spun, tossing the beast down so it flipped over in midair. He drove his sword into its throat, punching straight through into the dirt.

 

"So what are we up to today? Besides pissing off the entire animal kingdom, I mean."

Rey laughed at Zasalamel's joke. "Alright. This should be fun." He looked down to examine the Shinigami, noticing as a Captain with a 'Three' character on the back of his cloak entered the fray, brutally eliminating a gorilla before dispatching a tiger. "Ooh, that one's brutal. Did you see how he dealt with those animals? Wait... I know him. I ran into him earlier today. We talked for a bit." Rey turned to Zasalamel. "Wait, so what is the Heigou, exactly?"
