ryuujinn
Yomi nodded as the captain commander made his remark. It was indeed a chilling tale. Before he became a captain, the previous 13th Squad Captain used to say that there will be a day that the Gotei 13 will have to face its greatest threats of each time. It was a shame that when the greatest threat of their time surface, the former captains all died, leaving a young generation to take over. Now, its their time to face two threats that could turn the world upside down. Bounts and Arrancars. Both strong opposition in their own rights. There can be no more delays. Yomi then approached Saren and extended a hand, offering to help him stand up. Saren simply waved off a hand, and stood on his own gingerly, looking refreshed. His reiatsu has now been restored after sitting for a while. He gave Yomi a cold stare, and gave the Captain Commander the same level of coldness, if not more. His glance then fell over to Sayori, in which it became softer, and warmer, something Yomi, who never fails to see such stuff, noticed. "You really are fond of her, aren't you?" Yomi said, giving a hearty smile towards Saren. "Yes. Way more than I am fond of you and that old geezer." Saren replied coldly towards Yomi. "Well, you should come to the meeting. She could use your help, you know? Your reiatsu specialization will be of great help to her, and I'm sure she'll appreciate it." Yomi persuaded, still giving Saren a warm smile. Saren gazed towards Sayori for a while, then gave a sigh. It was true that he specializes in reiatsu reading and the like. After all, it was him that discovered the dome before anyone else. He turned towards Yomi, still giving a cold stare. "Why do I feel that you're using your fellow captain to enlist my aid?" Saren remarked, walking towards the meeting room. "Now why would I do that?" Yomi sniggered, looking extremely coercive. Both of them made their way towards the meeting room, with Saren keeping a rather wide distance with Yomi. It was true that he's fond of Sayori, but the way Yomi talked him into helping them out was freaking him out. Somehow, from the captain's warm and hearty smile, deep beneath them all, there's a devious personality, someone who's willing to do everything for his own gain. Then again, the way Yomi has been helping Seireitei, he was only doing all of it for the good of his home. Saren pondered how the human world was doing. He doesn't miss anyone there in particular, seeing as he's the only survivor of his clan, and other than himself, he's not met a lot of people. *Sigh*. I guess I'll tag along with these bunch for a while. Kushinada-sama. You and I will need to talk again. You've got a lot to answer for. Saren thought to himself, thinking of his encounter with Zasalamel earlier. Back in Las Noches, Zasalamel was pacing his study. On the table near him were two glowing spheres, encased in a magnetic field of his own devices. He was staring outside, towards the expansive sand dunes of Hueco Mundo. Saren Kushinada. Curious. So that Quincy Clan did survive. It's no surprise, of course. They're of my bloodline. But what is this scathing feeling, these surges of emotions. I am not human nor shinigami. Why do I feel this, uncertainty, this guilt? Curious. He and I will meet again, and perhaps it will be cleared then and there. Zasalamel pondered on himself, clutching the heart area of his chest. Allesk
Kaosu who had remained back and not really participated much listened to the Captain Commander. Even though it did not seam like he was invited to go to this meeting he began to move to its location. After all he did step in and help somewhat before he stopped and analyzed what was happening. He knew there was another quincy but he didn't recognize him. Also he wondered if the other quincy even noticed him. He didn't think so because he didn't really show any signs of it. But then again maybe he just didn't care. Kaosu shrugged he did not mind either way. Kaosu made his way to the meeting room and kooked around. No one reported about him so he stood by Iyusaka The shinigami whom fought alongside him against the bount.
.:Blu:.
As the captains begin to depart for the meeting, Iyusaka turned towards Sayori. "Cpt. Kuchiki, I wonder, do you have any feelings for that Quincy named Saren? Well, no need to answer, I shouldn't be so nosy anyways. You should hurry and get to the meeting." Iyusaka stated with a calm smile on his face. He then turned towards Kaosu. "If I may, you should attend the meeting as well. However, this is not a forced command, do as you will, but you would be an important ally to us." Iyusaka stated as he shunpo'd towards Takeda. Just then Iyusaka suddenly stopped for a second and stood perfectly still. Iyusaka then quickly turned his head around and looked around the area as if to find something. "..........." Iyusaka then turned back around and walked towards Takeda. "We should go to the meeting now Takeda." "Alright, I hope we don't get any paperwork afterwards." Takeda stated as the both of them left the area and headed to the meeting. Before Iyusaka left the area, he turned back to Kaosu. "Well, I hope to see you coming with us Kaosu." Iyusaka said with a calm tone. As they made their way towards the meeting, Iyusaka's face showed an uneasy expression on his face. "(I wonder........)" Iyusaka thought to himself. Both of them were moving at a slower speed to wait for anyone that would like to join them.
Hotaru987
Sayori giggled at Iyusaka's question regarding her and Saren's relationship. "No, at least no romantic feelings....He says I remind him of his deseased sister, so if there are any feelings then it would be one of brother and sister. Although I will not say that I understand his feelings, but I have to say I have become quite attatched to him myself. He reminds me of by brother...Not look wise, but personality wise. He seems to always be there at the right moment." Sayori then smiled and accompanied Iyusaka and Takeda to the meeting room.
namelessk
As the Captain's left for the meeting and there was no one in sight, the misty water rose into the air. It then began shifting and shaping itself. The water took on a humanoid shape, first growing feet and moving up to the chest which grew arms. Then the head grew, but it was still watery looking. The watery being snapped its fingers, and in a burst of reiatsu, colors began forming on it. It turned black on its body and it's face turned into a tanned color. Hair formed at the top of the being's head, red bangs forming to cover the figure's dark blue eyes. The eyes were something that Kanki Ushio could not get rid of. As his form fully shaped itself, Kanki Ushio looked down at his hands and his body. "Yes. Now on to the meeting." Kanki Ushio said as he began walking forward. He then disappeared in a burst of speed, moving quickly so he could catch up to the other Captains. "Wait! Captain's Kuchiki and Iyusaka." Kanki Ushio called out in a slightly different voice. It wasn't as deep as it was before. It was now calm and slightly quiet. "I am the 3rd seat of Squad 8." Kanki Ushio said, pointing to the Squad 8 insignia on the badge on his right arm. "My name is Trace Muryo and my captain requested that I come to the meeting in his place. He has been out on a mission and was recently sent word of the invasion. He sent a hell butterfly to tell me all of this." Kanki Ushio said to them as he moved closer to them.
.:Blu:.
Iyusaka and Takeda saw this new arrival. "Huh? So your captain told you to go huh? Well whatever, like I care. Just don't say anything stupid at the meeting, alright?" Takeda stated as he looked back at Kanki Ushio who was now disguised as Trace Muryo. Iyusaka then greeted Trace with his signature friendly smile that was shown on his recruitment poster. "Well it's nice to meet you Muryo." Iyusaka stated in a friendly tone. Takeda then came over to Trace and grabbed him by his collar. "Now listen here you! Since your captain is gone, your other division members better start to clean up the Soul Society, and that means you too when this meeting is over with, got that?!" Takeda asked with a loud tone. Iyusaka simply stared at Trace with uneasy and tracking eyes. "........... Well in any case, we should continue.........." Iyusaka stated calmly. namelessk
"I'll just watch." Trace said, flashing a grin at Takeda in response to his statement. He then turned towards Iyusaka. "Nice to finally be standing in your presence Captain Iyusaka. I've always heard so much about you." Trace said, smiling towards him. Then Takeda grabbed him by the collar and told him to clean up Seireitei after the meeting. "Someone is upset? Did I do anything?" Trace asked, still smiling. He reached up and then placed his hand on Takeda's hand which was grabbing his collar. "Please let me go Captain Takeda. You are ruffling up my shinigami robes." Trace said, trying to straighten himself out. "Plus, we're about to be late." he added.
.:Blu:.
Takeda let go of Trace and crossed his arms. "I am not mad, I'm just showing my authority is all." Takeda stated calmly. "Well let's go before the Captain-Commander gets impatient and assign me, uh I mean us, paperwork." Takeda stated as he looked towards the meeting hall. Iyusaka gave a smile at Trace's earlier statement. "Oh well I don't know about that. I'm not that famous am I?" Iyusaka asked in a funny way as he comically points to himself. Takeda then turned back to Iyusaka. "Ah! Don't be so modest Iyusaka! Have a little confidence in yourself will ya! Geez...... I'm stronger than him just to tell you Muryo." Takeda stated as he pointed towards himself. "Well anyways, I'm going on ahead." Takeda then went off. "Well Cpt. Kuchiki and Muryo, we should be going as well." Iyusaka stated as he shunpo'd away. Iyusaka's face showed signs of suspicion but he was still unsure.
Allesk
Kaosu eyed up the new shinigami who came over to themas they walked to the meeting. Kaosu felt slightly uneasy but he had no idea why. Shrugging the feeling off he smiled at the shinigami then looked away and continued to walk. "Thank you for the invitation. I shall join and see if the Captain Commander has anything interesting to say, and see where I may be needed." Kaosu said to Iyusaka. Kaosu hated to be late so he started to move a bit ahead of the shinigami while they stopped and greeted the 3rd seat. Kaosu thought about how much he wanted to get to training so he could become stronger. He wanted to become stronger with his defensive bow ability. He knew if he could get better defense he would not have to scout out things so much. "I hope there will be time to train." Kaosu said to no one in particular. Hotaru987
Sayori shook her head at Takeda, "Once a hothead always a hothead." She then smiled politly at Muryo, "Well, if your captain has requested for you to come then it's best you don't disobey. Let's go the Captain-commander would not care for tardiness." She flashed one last smile before she shunpo'd after Takeda and Iyusaka. I don't know about that kid...Why did he so suddenly appear like he did, I hadn't even sense his energy. Oh well, it's been a rough day I must be tired She thought entering the meeting chamber and standing in the 6th division caption's place.
.:Blu:.
Both Iyusaka and Takeda arrived at the meeting hall. They took their position and stood quietly awaiting to see if any other captains would show up or if the Captain-Commander would begin the meeting. Iyusaka closed his eyes as he entered into deep thought. "(That shinigami...... something's not right here, however I have no proof to backup my theories, so for now I'll just go along as normal.......)" Iyusaka thought to himself calmly. Takeda was clueless about everything that was happening. He didn't even get any weird feelings from Trace and just thought that he was another shinigami. Takeda looked around restlessly. If there were two things he hated most about being a captain, those would be meetings and paperwork.
namelessk
Kanki ushio, posing as Trace straightened himself up and brushed off his clothes while fixing them. He then followed after the Captains as they went off towards the meeting. These foolish Shinigami don't even suspect a thing. None of them can even sense the difference in reiatsu. I just hope that the Captain-Commander does not figure it out. Meanwhile, the Captain-Commander stood there, watching as everyone came in. Just then Kanki Ushio walked into the meeting hall and looked around at all of the Captains there. He didn't know where he was supposed to go. "Hello Captain-Commander. I am filling in for the Captain of Squad 8. He requested by hell butterfly that I do while he is away on an urgent mission." Kanki Ushio said. Turokenji was about to ask who Trace was when he spoke up. "Out on a mission?! At this time?" Turokenji bellowed. "Ah...there's no helping it. It's better that I don't do the mission myself anyway. Your spot is there, next to the Captain of the 7th Squad." Turokenji said, pointing towards the spot. "Wait, where is Captain Achiha? Nevermind. Stand next to Captain Takeda." Turokenji ordered. He watched as Trace moved forward and stepped into place next to Takeda. Then he turned his full attention to the Captains before him. "I cannot wait for the other Captains to join us. We will fill them in later. Now, I have called this meeting in order to discuss tactics. I need to know of the abilities that the Bount and Arrancar used. What types of abilities did the hollow who first attacked before the Segunda and Primera attacked have?" Turokenji asked. He wanted to know more, and he was not going to let them go unless they told them more about the Hollow and the Bount who had attacked.
.:Blu:.
Takeda stared at Trace with a "Don't make any stupid actions" expression shown in his eyes. As the Captain-Commander finished speaking, Iyusaka reopened his eyes. "If I may Captain-Commander. I've not much information on the Hollows that attacked. That I think Cpt. Yomi will be capable of answering. However I did encountered two modified Arrancars who goes by the names of Cyclops and El Higante. Cyclops I was able to defeat. However, he showed quite a strange ability. His body is filled with a form of liquid metal substance that was able to slow me down quite a bit. El Higante was more dangerous. He was able to combine himself with the remains of his brother Cyclops, making him more humanoid in appearance. It appears whatever he touches with his claws, he is able to produce. However this was limited to reiatsu-based materials as suggested when he was able to replicate the same crystals as my Kesshoo Goon Ken." "On another note, it seems that he can reform himself with the same substance that Cyclops' body was filled with. He was able to escape. As for the other Hollows, I'll let the other captains tell you of their abilities. As for the Bounts, well I've faced several of them. Me, Takeda, and Cpt. Jun Fon fought against a pair of twin Bounts named Kasaka and Asaka. Kasaka's doll abilities are based on the manipulation of fire, this is not as dangerous as his sister, Asaka's doll abilities. Her doll can produce a strange acidic liquid that can eat through reiatsu. She was able to corrode Kesshoo Goon Ken's blade. Futhermore, the acidic liquid also produces a type of hallucinogenic steam that when breathed in will cause the senses to go haywire. This was a dangerous ability that I faced first hand. I was however awoken from this illusion by Takeda when he disrupted the electrical signals in my nerve sensors when he punched me." "Finally the last opponent I want to report on is the Bount named Reinhardt. He controlled two dolls, Schmerz and Vereisen. Schmerz appeared to manipulate fire in quite a powerful way. He could also regenerate any wounds on his body. The same goes for Vereisen who I had the biggest problem with. She can control snow and ice, the snow that she summoned is a special unnatural snow that she used to hid herself along with Reinhardt as you've witnessed firsthand. The snow was also heavier than regular snow. An attack that Vereisen performed was really damaging, it was able to shatter my entire left arm and maybe really injured me if I hadn't dodged. Another ability of Reinhardt was the dome that couldn't be detected by the captains. It was designed to keep us shinigami inside according to Saren. Another unique ability that I remembered Vereisen using was some kind of defense mechanism that trapped Kesshoo Goon Ken's blade in snow and actually dissolved it. This maybe the same case as the acidic liquid Asaka's doll was able to produce in which it dissolve things that are reiatsu based." "If this is correct, then a lot of the one hit kidos will be deffective against him. I've also fought one of the Espada, he seemed to be well adept at using his zanpakuto, but that was all I could deduced from him due to the short fight. I'll let the other captains and Quincies tell you about the other opponents they've fought." Iyusaka stated as he closed his eyes again.
Hotaru987
Sayori waited until Iyusaka was finished with his report before starting hers. "As for myself I was not here for initial attack, as I was away on a mission. When I had arrived I received a message to meet up with Yomi-taicho, when he proceeded to inform me of the Chamber 49 spokes person and give me my next orders. I was told to defend the Northern Gate, where I had immediately engaged the Treice Espada by the name of Sven Trago." She paused looking down in embarrassment, "I regret to say that I had severely underestimated him and due to that I was quickly put on the defensive. Yomi-taicho had came at the right moment, saving me however bringing his opponent Reinhardt." "Be request of Yomi-taicho i retreated from the fight, only to resume the duties of the 4th division captain and tend to the wounded after Sven fired a massive attack on the district where we hadn't completely evacuated all of the residents. Skipping some minor details, if you don't mind, the next enemy encounter was after I had met up with Jun Fon-Taicho. It was Saren Kushinada, who had attacked us." Sayori smiled at him before turning back to the Captain Commander. "My next opponent was the Segunda Espada Zasalamel, and I was accompanied by Saren, and Yomi-taicho. He has a very unique ability dealing with the magnetic fields and polarities around him. Anything he touches is engulfed with a yellow glow, and he is able to repel the object with something of the opposite polarity. As I had recently found out, even Kido's have a certain polarity so those were little to no use against him. Immediately after him was a kid named Kasen. He was very swift in both his movements and his attack. However, he was subdued by Yomi-taicho who trapped him in a dome of earth." "My final opponent was the bount Baldur and his doll Krake. Baldur has a sword in which he can produce multiple blades from the hilt. They can stretch to any limit, but cannot materialize anywhere but his hilt. His doll, Krake, has the body density of diamond and a specialized ink that is highly cohesive. Anything it touches it instantly trapped and is at the mercy of his doll. Before I activated my bankai, however, I had been incapacitated greatly and hadn't the use of my legs so I was pretty useless after that. That was when Captain Kisune took over the fight. That's all." Sayori finished holdng her hands together behind her back.
namelessk
"Interesting. It seems that the enemies who invaded Seireitei were pretty powerful then?" Turokenji asked himself more than he did the others. He listened with intent as they went on about the Arrancar and Bount who had attacked. At hearing Sayori mention that Saren had attacked her at first, his gaze slowly moved to Saren, but then it moved away when she told him that Saren had helped her later. The Arrancar...for what did they send their strongest warriors? Why? "What about you Yomi?" Turokenji asked Yomi as Sayori finished. "They say that you know about the modified hollow that first attacked? So what about them? Turokenji bellowed. He was getting a little impatient. .:Abarai Renji:.
Nato soon found himself dashing towards Serireitei's center again, once more trying to find his way to the meeting room. The Shinigami's prayers have been heard; The Captain-Commander was back. Hopefully, things would solve themselves now, and with the Captain-Commander's surpreme intellect, they would surely find a way to counter the attacks of the Arrancars. Nato still had no idea about the recent Bount attacks, since he had been too busy fighting off Hormigas, Muertos Grande, and Raizou all in one day. "Damn, I could use a recovery day after this. Heck, even a whole vacation, perhaps. Life as a Shinigami is tiresome, but I have to live through it." he said to himself, dashing towards the meeting hall to hopefully get more info about the situation. As he stood outside the hall's entrance, he noticed Yomi, along with the Quincy from before, enter the vast hallway. He sheated his Nodachi Zanpakuto, before entering as well. "Yomi-San. You could of at least told me it would be a meeting soon." Nato chuckled a bit as he catched up to Yomi, taking a seat near him. "I hope I am not intruding on anything?" he added, seeing that the meeting was already in full swing, and he had arrived in the middle of it. Very impractical for a Captain of his position. He did not know how to excuse himself, other than the fact that he had helped repel at least three massive attacks in one day.
.:Blu:.
Takeda stared at Nato and gave a quick smirk. "Hehe, don't you know the meeting has already started?! You should be more professional, haha!!!!" Takeda exclaimed as he crossed his arms. Usually Takeda would be the late one, but now he felt pretty good of himself. Iyusaka opened his eyes and stared at Takeda intently with a serious expression on his face. Takeda was kind of creeped out by this and just looked away. Iyusaka then turned to Nato, giving him the signature smile. "Sorry about that Cpt. Nato, Takeda is one of the more, immature, captains of the group." Iyusaka stated in a sincere tone. Iyusaka then turned back towards his direction.
ryuujinn
Yomi gave an approving nod when Nato came in. He was rather glad to see that the captains are more or less active right now. He also nodded apologetically, showing that he was somewhat sorry for his inability to tell Nato about the meeting. When his attention was addressed by the Captain Commander, he immediately faced forward and bowed towards Turokenji. "Yes. Indeed, Jii-san. I've somehow faced the initial attacks from the modified hollows. First off, we were attacked by what looked like massive humanoid hollows that have destructive capabilities of an Arrancar, and also a modified hierro, not to mention possessing an advance level of regeneration. However, that big hollow was still a hollow, which made it all surprising. It successfully leveled the Western Rukongai Districts in the short span of time it was here." Yomi gave a short cough before continuing. "Second, was a group of average-sized humanoid hollows that have the ability to escape destruction by means of an ultra-high speed regeneration system, which allows it to regenerate any severed pieces of the body to form an entirely new entity, thereby allowing it to replicate endlessly. It also posed an ability to adapt to things that obliterate it, such as explosion, shattering, and the like, not to mention a speed to match even a captain class shinigami. However, one weakness noted was they can only seem to last for quite a time, as they expired after an hour or two, meaning that as long as we can keep them at bay for that long, they'll die out naturally." "Now, onto the rest of my report. I engaged several different hostiles all throughout the time span of the so-called attack. It was also the first time I encountered a bount such as the kid named Reinhardt, who, as Captain Iyusaka has said earlier, possessed the ability to wield the opposing forces of fire and ice. Destructive power is extremely high, with a defense that is nearly hard to bypass. However, he cannot compare to that other bount, whom he called Fui-sama, also assumed as the leader. That person has reiatsu comparable to the Primera Espada of the Arrancars, and possibly you too, Jii-san. If it had been who attacked first, we probably wouldn't be able to defend as we did earlier." "For the Arrancars, there were three notable opponents whom I've witnessed. First was the tercera espada, who seemed to have fought with Captain Akiyama earlier. He possessed destructive power greater than the other Espada I've witnessed so far. He even leveled the 4th Division barracks, and would've been successful have I not been there. Next is the Segunda Espada, who goes by the name of Zasalamel. In terms of destructive power, he seems to be more docile compared to the Tercera. However, I have not witnessed him do anything other than play around. He has the ability to conceal his reiatsu through a magnetic field, and specializes in the use of polarities, as Captain Sayori has reported earlier. He can repel forces that attack him that is of similar polarity, just like magnets, and can move with blinding speed when his body touches a ground or any foundation that he charged with the same polarity. Finally, the Primera Espada. I have little detail with him, as I've only seen him for a while. He seemed to have fought with the leader of the bounts, but it ended up in a stalemate. He seems unaffected by taunts nor provocations, and retains a cold atmosphere of calmness around him. A dangerous opponent really, especially with a reiatsu as vast as yours, Jii-san." Yomi ended his report with a sigh, before rounding back towards the rest of the captains. It has been a long day, and he hasn't even rested for a bit. Somehow, he wished he could've taken tea earlier. Guess this is what it means to be a captain.
.:Blu:.
Iyusaka stared at Yomi and gave a smile. "You're probably really tired huh Cpt. Yomi? Well, I guess that would be obvious. I mean, we did spend all night fighting and also during some parts of the morning. It's not surprising really. You should all get some rest after this morning if you're tired. After all, a well rested mind means a more healthy body." Iyusaka stated towards all the captains present. "However, I'm afraid some of us might not get the chance to rest. I, for one, still have to look over the damage done towards the Soul Society with the other Divisions. To be truthful, a captain's work is never really done." Iyusaka explained. "Heh, that sounds boring. I mean afterwards you'll have to file paperwork and all of that crap. Me on the other hand, will be working on the newest issue of Seireitei Communication Monthly. Maybe this month I'll add a recipe for soup that'll cure your morning restlessness." Takeda stated confidently as he took out a notepad and pencil and wrote down his idea. Hotaru987
"Yeah we will all be pretty busy for a while, but a short rest would be nice. Although, with all of the damage done to both the seireitei and the residents I doubt that would be possible for a while." Sayori said rubbing the back of her neck, forcing back a tired yawn. "As for me it'll be mountains of paperwork, and tending to the still full 4th division Barraks." I hope the loss of today does not fortell the future fortune of our battles to come.. Sayori sighed her hands returning to there joined position behind her back. ...Although Im not much of a tea person, Jasmine Tea is sounding quite relaxing right about now. namelessk
"Interesting..." Kanki Ushio thought as he listened intently to every word that the Captains uttered. The Arrancar had proven themselves to be formidable opponents by the enemies that each Captain described. It seems they don't yet know of the full power which Fui wields. They barely even know anything about his dolls. Kanki Ushio then seemed to drift off, thinking about the small fight that his master Fui had had with the Primera. The Primera was not at all serious about the fight, but he had gotten into Fui's blindspot not once but twice. How was he in one spot at one time and then in another at another time. How did he avoid death all three times that he was defeated by Master Fui. All of these questions ran through his head, and he would soon relay them to Fui once he got back to him. "You! What do you have to say for your status report?" Turokenji bellowed, awakening Kanki Ushio from his day dream. "Oh, I'm sorry Captain-Commander. I was not there for any of the attacks. I was helping move people out of the homes destroyed by the...Tercera Espada was it?" Kanki Ushio. "But you must know something?!" Turokenji commanded. "Ah...I didn't see any of the battles. When I was free to come and help fight, all I saw was you arriving and battling Fui. I couldn't see much, and..." Kanki Ushio hung his head at this. "I was suffocated by the spiritual pressure emanating from you and Fui." Kanki Ushio stammered out. He acted as if he was embarrassed by this so that they would buy his story more. Then he lifted his head. "But, I think I gained some intel on the abilities of Fui." Kanki Ushio began. "He seems to be able to control a doll which is made completely of water. I could not tell the exact volume of water that his doll could control, but I am certain that it dwarfs the amount of water that your own zanpakutou controls Captain-Commander. I could not tell much about his second doll except that he uses it as a defense. I think it was lightning that it could create. It looked similar to a wheel as well." Kanki Ushio finished. "I know most of that information." Turokenji bellowed. "Why do I even bother?" he mumbled slightly under his breath. "I am sorry Captain-Commander." Kanki Ushio said, hanging his head and stepping back in shame. "You should be. Anyone else have anymore intel?" Turokenji said and looked to Nato who had just arrived. "Captain Nato. Glad you could make it to our meeting. I heard that you fought some of the hollow as well. What intel do you have on them?" Turokenji asked in his booming voice. .:Abarai Renji:.
"Same as Cpt. Yomi, Sōtaichō." Nato said, standing up slightly, bowing as an excuse for his late arrival. "We encountered several humanoid Hollows with remarkable regeneration abilities, but their one weakness seemed to be a heavy blow or slice to the head, decapitating them. However, once that was done, they spawned numerous of the modified Hollows, like Yomi-San described. They had remarkable adaption abilities, being able to withstand not only an unknown-class Kido like Kongōbaku, but also several Bakudō restrictions, such as Hyapporankan." He drew breath then, and also took some time to register the thoughts in his mind before continuing. "Also, I encountered not only one, but two Arrancar beings. One by the name Muertos Grande. His skill and power were almost equal to that of my own, having several lightning-based attacks such as myself, leaving me in a disadvantage at the beginning of the battle, almost. However, with the help of who I thought was the Chamber Spokeperson, Raizou, I was able to wound him significantly, and after reaching my Bankai, he seemed to retreat. However..." He took another moment to breathe. The fights he had been in had somehow taken quite a toll on his old body. "That's when I encountered what I thought for a started was the Segunda Espada Yomi spoke of, for he had the name Zasalamel. But I was proven wrong, as it was no one other than Raizou, whose true identity was a spy Arrancar. He had the ability to morph into an exact carbon copy of whoever he had laid eyes upon, and so, it is of my belief he summoned us to the meeting to be able to memorize our appearances and use it to his advantage. I challenged him as he wielded, not only my own power, but the power of Yomi-Taichō as well. I had to fight him at the edge of my abilities, almost forfeiting my life in the progress. However, it was then I encountered the real Segunda Espada, who easily contained Raizou in some form of magnetic field, as he was about to self-destruct upon his death. He also negated my lightning attacks, which would indicate he has magnetic powers to reverse the poles of any attack which is lightning-based, so a fight with him would be in my disfavor." He sat down then, drawing irregular breaths, seemingly exhausted from his report. But that was how he was. He drew as much information as he could from any battle, and was happy to share it. "That is all for me, Turokenji-Sōtaichō."
ryuujinn
Yomi gave Nato a short, rather surprised look. He didn't know that Nato faced such an opponent. He remembered Zasalamel looking rather playful and seemingly harmless compared to the other Arrancars. To have been able to negate Nato's lightning attacks while keeping an unknown force of explosion suggests a rather higher level of power hidden behind the Segunda's playful nature. He stared at the other Shinigamis around the room, and happened upon Saren, who seemed to not care about the meeting and instead was staring towards the door, with occasional glances towards Sayori every now and then. Yomi approached the Quincy casually, standing behind him as Saren stared towards Sayori once again. "Ah.. Youth.. Such a wonderful age, isn't it, Kushinada-san?" Yomi remarked from behind the Quincy. "Wha--? I was just looking at the other captains, trying to see what they look like, and uhm," Saren frowned at Yomi's unbelieving expression, "What? I'm telling the truth." "Yes, well. You should introduce yourself to the Captain Commander, or should I tell Kuchiki-san to do that instead?" Yomi joked, looking rather thoughtful. "You bastard. Stop using her as an excuse to get me to do what you want, you bastard." Saren remarked in an annoyed tone towards Yomi, who the latter seemed not to mind at all. Saren then made his way towards Yomi's spot, trailing behind the captain. He wanted to make this quick. He's not necessarily a shinigami, so he doesn't think he need reporting. Yomi gave him a nod, signaling him to move forward. "Uhm. Yeah." Saren said staring at the rest of the captain as Yomi stepped behind him, allowing him to take the spot, "I'm Saren Kushinada, a Quincy of the Kushinada Clan. I simply came here to take revenge, but due to unforeseen circumstances, I was forced to help." Yomi then stepped forward, now standing beside Saren. He has a rather thoughtful look on his face once again, a warm smile embedded upon his lips. "I believe Kushinada-san here helped us a lot, even if he did it for Kuchiki-san," Yomi gave Sayori a short, friendly glance and smiling at her before continuing, "Assisted in the recovery of Captain Nato and myself, assisted in the recovery of Kuchiki-san twice if I recalled correctly, assisted in facing the Segunda Espada, and correctly deduced the existence of the reiatsu dome that was impossible to detect for us shinigamis. However, I seem to recall him having a slight run-in with Jun Fon-san. I, however, do not have any information regarding their fight." Yomi looked towards Sayori, as if expecting her to report the fight over the meeting. He then stared around to see if Jun Fon was anywhere to be seen. Saren was already making his way back to the edge of the room, away from the rest of the Captains when Yomi grabbed him by the collar of his clothes and pulled him back to his spot. "You will wait until Jii-san hears out everything you've done." Yomi said, keeping Saren in place by holding the Quincy's collar. "Kuchiki-san, I believe you have more to add to my report regarding our Quincy Friend here." "I'm not your friend, so let me go." Saren quickly retorted towards Yomi, though he gave Sayori an embarrassed look. "Just wait." Yomi replied. Yomi gave Sayori another warm and hearty smile, waiting for her to speak up. Hotaru987
Sayori smiled softly towards both Yomi and Saren, secretly trying not to laugh at how the two interacts with each other. Her eyes then settled on Saren seemingly thinking about how to start her explanation, before turning to the captain-commander. "Well, during the initial attack from Saren I am afraid that Jun Fon-taicho would have to tell you about that as I was barely conscious, having used up too much reiatsu fighting the Treice Espada and healing those that were injured. I am guessing, but I assume mid way through the fight is when Saren came over and healed me if not to perfect form, then pretty darn close. He used some type of silvery liquid as well as a reiatsu cube-" She pulled it out showing the others in the room. She almost forgot she still had it, "-that he fashioned himself. He says it would only heal the one who’s energy it’s adjusted too. It would kill any one else who tried to use it. "Saren is quite excellent in his mastery of reiatsu, as all of his attacks are attuned to the reiatsu of the target, with aim straight and true. There was one attack that he used, that I was not familiar with. His arrows took the form of a three-pronged arrow, and there was a white energy circling it that resembled sparks of lightening. Saren had intended to trap Jun Fon-taicho with no where to go, as he shot from every angle imaginable." "It was then, that I entered the fight with the thought of deflecting the arrows....However that didn't exactly go as plan. Some of the modified arrows were able to get through my defense, and to my surprise Saren came to my rescue. He was able to deflect most of them, but unfortunately he was hit by his own attack and was badly injured." "That's when he revealed why he seemed so compelled to help me. It was-" Sayori cut her eyes over to Saren almost as if asking for permission to continue. "Well...He said that I remind him of his sister who is now deceased. After that Jun Fon-taicho was carrying the unconscious Saren to the 4th division barracks, when Yomi intercepted out path, and the four of us continued to the barracks." .:Blu:.
Takeda simply stayed quiet throughout the whole thing, yawning a couple of times due to boredom. "{YAWN} (Man, when is this stupid meeting gonna be over? I have better things to do then just stay here and listen to the enemies' weaknesses. All things have a weakness, just sliced them up enough times and they're done for, sheesh, is that so hard to understand?)" Takeda thought to himself as he wiped the water from his eyes due to being really sleepy. Iyusaka still had his eyes closed staying quiet as the others tell their reports. Iyusaka still had a suspicion on Trace. "(This doesn't seem right at all..... I've been to the 8th Division a couple of times myself, but I've never seen this shinigami..... better keep a close eye on him)" Iyusaka thought to himself.
