Sayori looked at the new commer with an exasperated expression. "You've got to be kidding me. How many of you are there?" She couldn't help but whine slightly. The new arrancar looked like a child, but she knew that size doesn't matter. She had to learn that the hard way after Yachiru...I don't even want to remember that... She looked at the Quincy that she had forgotten was still in her arms. "Are you well enough to fight? Or shall I move you to a safer location?"

"Not today!" Jun Fon exclaimed as he grabbed both captains' arms and flash stepped away, just before the gigantic tidal wave of near-frozen water blew them over. "That was a close one, huh?" Jun Fon asked, reappearing on the roof of a nearby building, the two injured captains in tow. "Look, can either of you two fight? I'm not sure I can hold him off long enough until the Sotaicho gets here, even if I use my last resort." It was true; Fui seemed too powerful to beat without Turokenji's help, but if it was anything that he'd learned from training with Urahara, Yoruichi and Tessai, it was how to persevere.

Raizou was blasted away by the Kido, shoving him away a good few yards from Nato. He sank his zanpakutou replica in the earth to stop further increase in the distance, and flipped in mid air once again, stabilizing himself. He then stared at Nato with heightened interest, calculating and cold. His chest is scratched enough that his trench coat is nearly ruined in front.

 

"That was your only advantage against me, shinigami. Kido. Even with the powers of Zasalamel-dono, he cannot allow me to use Kido. But," Raizou pointed his zanpakutou towards the ground, "I can do as much."

 

The ground trembled with such intensity around them at a crack encircled their location within a few moments. Dark lightning erupted from the cracks, creating a cage like perimeter of about 100 meters around the two combatants. The cage closed up with another set of dark lightning, prompting Raizou to stab his zanpakutou to the ground.

 

"This is a potential your zanpakutou holds, but I'm pretty sure you haven't even grazed the tip of this technique." Raizou remarked, gesturing at the entire cage of darkened lightning. He then grabbed one of the lightning bars, producing a sword made entirely out of reiatsu and dark lightning.

 

"Let's see how you evade." He said abruptly, disappearing in thin air, reappearing behind Nato.

 

He swung his sword down, causing swords to materialize from the bars of the cage, aimed at the shinigami's direction. As the sword inched closer towards Nato, the swords around started to move towards him with equal speed.

 

"I'm utterly disappointed." Raizou said, looking rather sad. "I was promised the opportunity to test out the full extent of my power, but I guess this is the level of which you shinigami can perform."

Saren shook his head for a while, and grabbed his midsection. Something was stuck in between his palm and his abs. He thanked Sayori with a smile before standing on his own, examining the object in his palms. It was not an object, there were two of them. A small container filled with silvery substance and a golden cube. Saren knew immediately what they were.

 

"Kushinada-sama," He blurted out, then applying the silver liquid towards his wounds and swallowing the golden cube, "I really could never fathom that guy."

 

He stood up, looking refreshed and new. He tapped Sayori's shoulder to let him know that he's fine before looking over at Yomi, who seemed exasperated from being caged up.

 

"Yomi, I will repay my debt to you. You sit there," Saren glanced at the Arrancar, "Interesting. So another Arrancar huh?"

 

He drew out his crescent moon bow, its full glory seen as the dawn approaches. It has been one full night that they were battling, and dawn has finally arrive, as if heralding hope towards the exhausted shinigamis.

 

"Now, Kuchiki-san, allow me to be your partner in this one, as Yomi isn't fit." Saren smiled at the female captain before moving in position, ready to fire. "You're move."

Reinhardt stretched out his left hand, encasing his entire body in ice. He reinforced the ice with more reiatsu, forcing them to harden, and become angled in such a way that projectiles would simply be deflected instead of the armor absorbing the impact head on, just like how a stealth fighter deflects sound waves. The arrows struck the armor in time as he formed it, causing majority of the arrows to scatter.

 

"I hate interruptions." Reinhardt said, flicking his finger.

 

A ring of fire suddenly erupted from behind him and in front of him, courtesy of Schmerz. The minotaur has slammed its hoof down the ground to produce bright orange flames around his master. The flames formed a ring with tentacle-like figures made of flames bursting in and out of the ring. The tentacle suddenly extended towards the Quincy, and towards the three captains.

 

"Fui-sama, there's too many annoying people here. I suggest we get Baldur here immediately. Otherwise, we will be both forced to fighting at our full strength." Reinhardt commented coldy, not showing any emotions.

 

The bright orange flames around him started to destroy the ground beneath him with sheer heat alone. He then ordered Schmerz to form a platform made of flames for him to stand on, which the minotaur was only too happy to oblige. He slammed the melting earth with his gigantic fist, forming red flames that Reinhardt seemed to be able to stand on.

 

"Next move." Reinhardt muttered.

Iyusaka was glad to see Jun Fon helping. "Thanks a lot Cpt. Jun Fon. It seems the enemies are really tough. I just may have to use-" Iyusaka was interrupted as Takeda pulled on his haori to get himself of the ground. "Damn it...... and I was about to go bankai too." Takeda proclaimed. "In your condition? No way Takeda........ Your bankai might be powerful, but it takes too much out of you." Iyusaka proclaimed while he stood up and helped Takeda to get back up. "We can't defeat them, not yet at least......... Our powers are not fully restored yet. Well mine and Takeda isn't. How about you Jun Fon? And I will fight with you. I haven't sustained that much damage yet, so I can fight normally. Takeda has to stay here however." Iyusaka explained. "What?! Dammit!!!" Takeda exclaimed.

Fui stood there, unaware of the lingering barrage of arrows coming from behind him. From the corner of his eye, he saw Reinhardt forming an armor of ice, but he was unsure of what it was for. He realized it only to late that they were being attacked from behind. Suddenly, the water swirling around at his feet quickly rose and formed into a large hand. The hand froze over and simply palmed the arrows coming at Fui from behind. As the arrows hit the hand, they froze and fell to the ground, shattering as they did. Fui quickly spun around when he heard the sound of the arrows clattering against the frozen hand. "What was that?" Fui asked as he came around. The hand quickly melted and rose up in front of Fui, swirling around with power. Within the misty water, a pair of dark blue eyes could be seen. How it was that Fui sensed the attack coming was unknown. He looked down at the frozen arrows and then up at Kaosu. "You joined with the wrong race Quincy. It's a pity that now you might have to die." Fui said, a serious expression forming on his face.

 

"You are right Reinhardt, but I do sense Baldur approaching. He is still far away, but maybe we can buy time until he arrives." Fui said as he lifted his hand. The water at his feet lifted as well and began shaping itself. It formed into countless blades which hovered in the air in front of Fui. He then waved his hand in the air, and the blades all flew at Kaosu at once, heading towards him at incredible speeds. "Reinhardt, Fui will be on his way in a few seconds. He went to "handle" the twins. I am Kanki Ushio. He summoned me to come here right away while he took care of them, and had me assume his form for now." the Fui that stood there whispered to Reinhardt so that the others around them did not hear. "I will assist in whatever way that I can." he added.

"There are alot of us." Kasen exclaimed in answer to Sayori's question. Then, he looked at Saren as he stated that he would assist Sayori in her battle. "Aww man, ya know two on one isn't fair right?" he asked as he lifted his right hand to the back of his head and scratched it. "Oh well I guess." he stated as he then lifted his left hand and aimed it towards Saren. "This should be fun!" he exclaimed as his hand glowed red. Reiatsu swirled into his hand and began forming a ball the size of his palm before blasting out with quick speeds towards Saren. "Cero." Kasen muttered as he blasted it. Without even waiting for a counter, Kasen was gone from the spot he stood at. He was now above Saren with a quick sonido, aiming his palm down once more. "Want another one?" he asked. Without waiting for a reply, red reiatsu began swirling within his palm once more and he blasted it down onto Saren. Saren now had to dodge both the cero coming at him from in front as well as the cero coming down on him from above. Kasen then sonido'd once more and reappeared in the spot where he had started. "Your partner is in trouble." he said to Sayori.

Sayori was thankful that her bankai was still activated, and the fact that Saren wasn't too far away. It made it easier to block both ceros. "Kaze ni saizen ten no," She said appearing in front of Saren, "Sākuringu-fū." Instantly a green dome encased both of them seconds before the ceros made contact. Unlike the desperate sheild she put up when trying to block Sven's attacks this one was stronger. For one she is in bankai, and secondly the dome is competely made out of her reiatsu and not infused with wind.

 

Sayori grunted upon impact from the initial force, before concentraiting her reiatsu on the two points where the ceros were trying to break through. That should do it. "Dageki!" She pushed her reiatsu out on the two points causing the cero's to explode and smoke blocked the vision of Sayori and Saren. When the smoke cleared the green dome was still there and the occupants inside were un harmed.

 

The dome the receaded returning to a relieved Sayori. She the whispered to Saren so only he would hear, "I need a few minutes to recover. That defence requires a cool down time, and I will be vounrable until then." She closed her eyes, "That's why I don't really use it, but I didn't want to take any chances."

Saren looked amazed at how Sayori blocked the incoming Ceros with one smooth transition of skills. He then stared towards Kasen with a pair of serious eyes. His bow was drawn and his finger was quivering, waiting for the moment to release.

 

"Two against one isn't fair, but you Arrancars aren't fair either. One moment a sick and powerful Espada appears to play with us and now you. We didn't even get a break. However," Saren suddenly vanished from his spot, appearing directly above Kasen using Hiryenkyaku, "Shinsei Arashi."

 

An extremely bright glow emanated from Saren's bow, shining light a mini-Sun. It crackled with white energy as it charged up, then fired a thick beam of light towards Kasen. The beam stopped halfway before dispersing into a multitude of smaller beams, each with an arrow head. From within the beam, a massive streak of golden reiatsu can be seen, forming what looked like a body. Each individual arrow has this streak as they multiply more and more, heading towards Kasen with blinding speed, covering nearly every angle.

 

"You're mistake, Arrancar. I am the master of reiatsu among my brethren." Saren remarked coldly.

Kasen watched as Sayori appeared in front of Saren and formed a green dome of reiatsu to protect them. When he saw the cero explode, an expression of worry formed on his face. After the smoke cleared from the explosion of the two cero, a huge grin replaced the worried expression on his face and he began clapping. "Yay! You blocked them!" he exclaimed. "It wouldn't have been very fun if it had ended there." he said as he stopped clapping.

 

Suddenly, a puff of smoke exhaled from his mouth when he stopped clapping. He reached up and fanned the smoke away, exclaiming. "Ugh! That always happens!" Just then, he noticed that Saren was gone and then heard his voice from above him. "Oh, pretty light." he said while covering his eyes with his extra long sleeves as he stared into the light glowing on Saren's bow.

 

Kasen showed no sign of fear on his face as he stared up at the barrage of beams coming down on him. "Look what the Primera taught me!" he exclaimed as he lifted his right hand into the air. As he did this, the long sleeve that covered his hand slipped down so that his hand could be seen, and on it were black fingerless gloves. Reiatsu formed in his hand as he aimed it upwards, growing into a ball that he held charged. He then spun himself in place and quickly began picking up speed.

 

"Bala Top." could be heard from the spinning whirl that once was Kasen as the multitude of beams neared him. A mass torrent of bala blasted out at insane speeds from Kasen as he whirled around. They blasted out at different angles and moved with insane speed. They blasted into the many beams as they came at Kasen from every angle, exploding as they collided with the beams. The explosion produced a thick cloud of smoke around Kasen while he continued to spin, throwing the smoke away from him. Bala continued blasting out as he spun, and it continued to collide with the beams that hadn't exploded with the others. Bala were even shooting out in random directions, some heading towards Sayori.

 

When Kasen sensed all the beams to be completely destroyed, he stopped spinning and stood there. He showed no signs of disorientation and simply smiled up at Saren. "That was fun!" he exclaimed as he stared at the Bala heading towards Sayori with incredible speed.

Nato was prepared for the attack this time. Having experienced it before, he knew what to do. Before the blade was slashed down onto his back, he used Shunpo to quickly dodge the attack, and as he reappeared a few feet away from Raizou, he quickly made an incantation as he slammed his palms to the ground.

 

"Bakudō # 73. Tozanshō!" at this point, four light-teal beams of light emerged from the ground, and propelled themselves upwards from one point -- which was Nato's palms -- and created an upside-down pyramid which protected him from the swords raining down on him. He sighed in relief as the Bakudo spell worked, as he stood up inside the protective barrier.

 

"That was close." he grunted, before turning to Raizou. "If Kido is the advantage I have against you, then I will remember to use it as often as I can. However..." he held his hand up, and his Bankai generated another Zanpakuto replica. "I can't let you live after having insulted me and my kin. We Shinigami are proud of our existance, and we'll never surrender to scum like you, Arrancar." the barrier was dispelled when the attack had faded, and he charged at Raizou, delivering a clean blow to his chin, slashing downward with his Zanpakuto at his face at the same time.

Nato's blade once again pierced Raizou's defenses for the second time. This time blood splattered across towards Nato, covering his clothes with what looked like black blood. Raizou's body started to shake violently, separating from the blade, then hanging in mid-air. It turned upside down and then shook violently again. Suddenly, Raizou's body collapsed in on itself, as if being sucked in by an imaginary black hole. It gradually disappeared until there was nothing left, leaving a massive explosion. As the smoke subsided, confetti rained down to the ground in a colorful display.

 

"Pretty isn't it?" Raizou's voice echoed from out of nowhere.

 

This time, a hand erupted from a nearby tree trunk, pulling itself outwards. Inch by inch, a head suddenly appeared, and then a body, until finally the entire body was revealed. Raizou stared at Nato with extreme satisfaction, yet with intensity as usual. He now wears a haori with the number 13 symbol on the back. As light touched his face, Nato can see clearly that this time, it was Yomi that Raizou has impersonated.

 

"You're firing up, Captain Sanketsu," Raizou brought out two zanpakutou, one was Nato's, the other one was obsidian black, "Now, I will go all out. This would be the far extent of my abilities, and one that will kill me afterwards, but if I take you down with me along with half of Seireitei!"

 

He lifted one of the Zanpakutou to the air, then sank the obsidian blade to the ground. He did some seals in the air with his finger, looking dead serious.

 

"Bankai!" Raizou shouted.

 

A massive blast of reiatsu emanated from both zanpakutou, covering Raizou's entire body in a dome of black reiatsu. Energy sizzled once again, and the entire area shook as if being hit by an earthquake of great magnitude. The energy then slammed to the ground with such force that it formed a three meter deep crater around Raizou. The energy subsided, revealing Raizou's body covered in a black armor of lightning and a pair of earthen wings protruding from his back. He stared towards Nato with glowing black eyes, smiling widely.

 

"Don't worry, this is my real body, Captain Sanketsu. I will no longer use my dying technique, mainly due to the fact that this is a one way trip for me." Raizou said in a demonic-sort of voice, his pitch varying from high to low.

 

On his right hand, Nato's zanpakutou replica sizzled with lightning, hitting the ground with force that it causes smaller craters on hit. Sitting on his left hand is a massive obsidian scythe that causes a black patch of earth to constantly spurt out of the ground. Massive walls of earth keeps popping out of the ground only to be obliterated by the lightning that arcs from his other zanpakutou.

 

"Let's start." Raizou exclaimed.

 

Three thick slabs of earth suddenly erupted from below the ground, standing in front and on both side of Nato. The earthen wall suddenly grew spikes and were inching closer to the captain. Behind him, a thick wall of electricity suddenly popped to life, emerging from the ground.

 

"Enjoy your death!" Raizou laughed maniacally, looking darker and darker.

Nato quickly looked around himself, watching as the slabs of earth emerged from the soil, spikes protruding from the sides of them and preparing to stab him. In the same time, a large wall of electricity appeared behind him, making its way towards him from behind. "This is not good. He plans on killing me, but if I don't die, and kill him off, he will take me with him along with half of Serireitei if what he says is true. This can't be good for any of us." he summed up, thinking out a quick way to hopefully get out of this alive. He looked upwards, but saw that it was a long way up to escape from by merely flying upwards.

 

"He's a great thinker." he had to admit, but he had no time for games now. He had decided that this would be his final attack as well. "I think it's time I went all out as well then." he announced to Raizou. "I do not want to disappoint you, would I?" he chuckled for himself.

 

"That's right. These are not the only powers I possess in my Bankai Form."

 

With that, a giant crackle of lightning was heard from the skies outside, and the ground around Nato's feet shook and rumbled heavily, rocks cracking from the soil and lifting up in the skies. He stretched out both his arms, holding them horizontally out-stretched from his body, and spread his feet and legs a bit so he sort of stood in a cross-shaped pose, while a golden Reiatsu aura encased him. Then, lightning from all directions -- even the lightning from the dark lightning dome -- began to draw itself into his armor and fan-construct, making sparks of lightning crackle and sizzle around him.

 

Lightning began striking from the skies, and suddenly, Nato began growing a "second" body made of lightning. It grew to an immense size, breaking through the lightning wall behind Nato, and the earth slabs in front of him and on his sides as the lightning the being was made of had been solified. As it finished, it resembled a gigantic tiger-man, its head being a tiger's, but the rest of the body being a man's, and in its right hand, it wielded a massive lance of lightning. Its dressing was that of a traditional taoist, sporting a long toga dress from its waist and beads along its neck.

 

"Hatsubai Raitoningu; Byakko no Shugo-Sha!" *

 

Nato was in front of the massive being, and looked at Raizou with a dead serious look.

 

"This is also my ultimate technique. Using the utmost of my Reiatsu and Bankai powers, I summon the guardian of lightning himself; Byakko. His power will surely be rivaling yours, Arrancar, if not being greater than yours..." he suddenly felt his body tremble in pain, but he managed to mask it by looking seriously at Raizou.

 

D-Dammit! I've used up almost all my Reiatsu, and my wounds makes the strain on my body so much harder! I have to finish this quickly, lest my body will fail on me! he thought for himself. This ultimate technique he had developed proved to take alot of strain on his body, and if he didnt finish this fight quickly, he would surely die. He instantly whipped his hand towards Raizou, as if making a command, and the giant tiger-man roared loudly as he brought up the lance and swung it towards Raizou, a gigantic arc of lightning being tossed straight at him.

I am sorry I didn't list this technique in my App, because I kind of wanted to save it as a surprise for later. I hope this ain't counted as power-playing or God-Modding, and in case it ain't, could you add it in my App later? I can PM you about its info.

The bala that kid threw was coming straight for her, and she still hadn't had enough time recover from the earlier defense. She wouldn't be able to block it, and canceling it out with an attack is impossble. Sayori looked behind and saw the edge of the building. What the hell... She stepped back until she fell off of the edge, and handing from the underside of the roof, dodging, just barely her hair got singed on the way down, the cero. I'll just stay right here for another minute. Saren should be able to handle him for another minute...

 

"Monoroki." She whispered, as the wind began circling Saren.

Raizou's eyes widened with glee, as if bloodlust was overpowering his rational side. He laughed harder than ever as if a demon himself. He sank his scythe down the ground together with his other zanpakutou. He then focused an immense load of reiatsu around his immediate location. The earth around him condensed into a gigantic golem, nearly the same height as the lightning guardian Byakko. He then condensed dark lightning from his hands and palmed the earth with it, causing the golem to form a larger layer made of lightning, making it exactly as tall as Byakko. Its head is covered in a lightning sort of helmet that has horns. Its eyes were dark and glowing, and its mouth roared louder than the thunderstorms.

 

"Witness true power!" Raizou bellowed in his demonic voice.

 

He stretched out a palm, causing his own construct to move its own palms, blocking the lightning lance. The lance proved strong enough that the construct, along with Raizou, got pushed back a bit, causing large skid marks on the ground. Raizou made another big effort as he caused the entire earth to shatter around him and send a couple of large slabs of earth towards Byakko, while moving forward with his own construct.

 

"POWER OVERWHELMING!" He bellowed in his demonic voice, causing his construct to roar loudly, throwing an impressively quick set of punches towards Byakko.

 

From over the massive Eastern Wall, Zasalamel stood, watching at the on-going battle. There was a look of glee on his eyes.

 

"So, Privaron 666, you've decided to end your life huh? That technique is the epitome of my research into reiatsu manipulation and synchronization. I guess it's his call. I'll miss you my friend." Zasalamel remarked towards Raizou.

 

He sat on top of the wall, his reiatsu well hidden by the magnetic field he constantly has on himself.

"Damn it! He just don't know when to quit!" Nato exclaimed, moving his arms to make his lightning giant move its arms as well, blocking the rapid punches as Byakko and Nato were pushed back as well. "Damn! That's... too much..." Nato guwaffed as he suddenly spat blood from the corner of his mouth.

 

D-Damn it...... m-my condition is too worsened to fight in. If I keep this up... I-I will die. But... I have to protect Soul Society! Nay... I WILL protect Soul Society! No Arrancar or Hollow scum will defeat me! Mother... father... I-I wish you could see me now.

 

With that, he stretched his hand towards Raizou, as did Byakko, but towards the giant made of earth and lightning. "This is it! This... this attack will destroy you for good!" Nato shouted, as he began to muster the very last of his Reiatsu into one attack, while Byakko seemed to have no problem charging up the same attack, but many times bigger. "You said... that Kido was the one thing you lacked in using?! Well, bad news for you...... every move I make, Byakko copies!" he glared triumphantly at Raizou. "AND THAT... INCLUDES KIDO!"

 

"Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle!" Nato shouted, as his hand, and Byakko's, were charging up lightning spheres. "Hadō #63. Raikōhō!" with this, two yellow-ish beams of lightning -- Byakko's being bigger than Nato's -- fired straight towards Raizou and the earth/lightning construct.

"Inusaka-taicho's right," Jun Fon said seriously, his fury almost completely suppressed by the mental dam he had made. "Your reiatsu's lower than ours, and I think bankai'll only make it worse for you, hurry to the 4th division. The building's completely destroyed, but most of the healers are still alive,then hurry back if you're so eager to fight; Inusaka, you're strong enough to help me out. I'm at full power, but I don't think that, even if I use my last resort, that we'd be able to kill him without serious injury or death.

"We need to figure out a plan, that quincy's got him distracted, so we've got a bit of time."

Iyusaka smiled in relief as he stood up from the ground. "I'm glad to see you're talking with reason Jun Fon." Iyusaka stated as he helped Takeda up from the ground. "Spoken in the words of a true captain. You remind me of a younger me once, and let me tell you that I lived for a very long time now. Well, not as long as the Captain-Commander." Iyusaka explained jokingly. He then looked towards Takeda. "Listen to Jun Fon and go to the 4th Division barracks. Get healed up, and if you must, return here and help us fight." Iyusaka stated. Takeda sighed and shook his head in agreement. "Fine, but don't you guys kill them alright, I still want to have fun, hehe." Takeda proclaimed as he shunpo'd away. "(He also reminds me of my younger self......... how interesting......... a younger generation of shinigami are rising up......... I hope I'm still alive to see them grow.........)" Iyusaka thought to himself as he turned to Jun Fon. "Are you able to use bankai?"

Akiyama pointed his Katana forward, mustering a moderate amount of Reiatsu to protect himself from the Espada's burst. The full blast wasn't neutralized, but it was diverted to Akiyama's sides. As the blast dissipated, Akiyama mentally rolled his eyes. He didn't have time for this. He could sense the massive reiatsu fluctuations in the distance as numerous battles were waged, battles that he should be partaking in. He had no time for this fool who posed no immediate threat to the Soul Society. However, as long as the opportunity was available, Akiyama might as well take out an Espada.

 

Akiyama didn't bother responding to the Espada's question, as he already knew what he needed to know. Further conversation would be redundant. Akiyama could tell his foe's Espada rank made him overconfident. That would be a key factor in this battle. Akiyama knew he wouldn't be able to win a clash of Reiatsu with the efficiency the situation demanded. He would have to stay close and kill his foe with his enhanced strength and speed.

 

Akiyama shifted his Bankai to Earth. As the rings revolved behind Akiyama, he activated Shunpo. Akiyama's accelerated run took him to a position one foot diagonally behind and to the left of his enemy's left shoulder. Akiyama lashed out with a three-pronged attack. He stabbed at his foe's flank with his Wakizashi, slashed at the neck with his Katana, and kicked out towards the inside of his foe's right knee with his right leg. Akiyama knew his foe would sense Akiyama's Reiatsu fluctuating and expect an attack, which was precisely why he'd chosen this formation. If his foe tried to step forward out of the stab's range, he would be sliced. If he tried to duck out of the way of the slash, he would be kicked and stabbed. If he stepped back and blocked the slash, he would trip over the kick. Akiyama knew his foe wouldn't be able to activate Sonido and evade outwards at the rate his slash was traveling, meaning the Espada would be forced to release his Zanpakutou in order to protect himself... if he could process Akiyama's attack in time. Akiyama hardly expected to kill his foe this early; he only intended to make his enemy release his powers and expend energy quickly. Forcing his foe on the defensive would turn his overconfidence into a weakness... one that Akiyama knew how to exploit.

Kaosu hiyrenraku'ed to the right evading the flames as well as dodging the blades all with one swift movement. "I should have went for persision and strength. Oh well." Kaosu sighed. He then fired three large arrows at the new bount. The arrows rushed towards him and swelled with a glowing blue hue. Kaosu had made these arrows extra powerful since his other arrows were simply knocked away. Kaosu ran towards the shinigami to get closer to them. "If we work together," Kaosu spit. "We can surely defeat them. But you must have confidence and not flee." Kaosu fired three more arrows at the same bount, Kanki Ushio. "I'll distract this one."

Saren's eyes looked rather furious when he saw a bala missed Sayori by a few inches. He used Hiryenkyaku to move towards her position, but stopped when he felt something around him. It was like a sudden rush of wind surround him. He felt lighter and more agile, as if the burden of the world was taken from him. He re-calibrated his crescent moon bow, making two small curves to appear in front, one on the top, and one on the bottom.

 

"You bastard." Saren muttered furiously, walking casually towards Kasen with his bow drawn. There was something different with the air around him as he walked by, as if spirit particles were flowing freely in and out of his bow.

 

The winds around them changed rather abruptly, shifting from a gentle breeze to a rather strong gust. Its as if nature herself was also participating in the battle. The atmosphere was palpable, and the tension was so strong that even a pin-drop could cause dire consequences. Saren closed his eyes and drew his bow. The two curves on the bow started to glow brighter and brighter, a bright tri-pronged arrow forming along Saren's drawing arm.

 

"Tengoku no Yajirushi, Second Form"

 

A tri-pronged arrow erupted from the bow, heading straight towards Kasen. Saren used Hiryenkyaku once again, moving into another angle firing a second one, then a third, changing position to cover different angles, until finally stopping above Kasen, pointing his twelfth shot.

 

"Heaven's Gate, Twelve Disciples of the Messiah." Saren muttered.

 

This time, instead of a tri-pronged arrow, a golden streak of arrow formed. It shone brightly, coinciding with the rising sun, as dawn has finally around. Saren's position was directly along the rising sun's path, giving the golden arrow more luster, as it shone brightly. He then released it, aiming right towards Kasen. The arrow travelled and synchronized with the other eleven, all going after Kasen, homing in on the Arrancar.

 

"Nihil Obstat." Saren finished, closing his eyes as the arrows glowed more intensely.

That last statement of Saren was just a comment. And it means "Nothing Stands in the Way".

Raizou seemed unfazed by the massive current of energy heading straight towards him. Instead, he forced the entire earth around him to rise up, forming a circular wall of earth as tall as the constructs themselves. He then palmed tremendous amount of lightning towards the ground, covering the layer of the wall with intense black lightning. His construct roared loudly, causing the air around them to be charged with intensity.

 

"HAHAHAHAHA! I am the strongest! Not even the Primera or the Segunda Espada can compare to me! HAHAHAHAHA! I will destroy all of you, shinigami or Arrancar! MY... POWER.... IS..... OVERWHELMING!" Raizou laughed demonically, his eyes glowing darker and darker. His construct laughed with him in a much more sinister manner.

 

The massive kido collided with the barrier with such force that the surrounding area was nearly desolated with just the shockwave created by the impact. The gate itself buckled in on itself as the shockwave hit it, causing Zasalamel to even stand up and balance himself carefully.

 

"Jeez, that guy is getting serious. There's very little time left before his reiatsu cave in on him. When that time comes, not only will half of Seireitei be destroyed, but it'll also cause the very fabric of this world to lose its balance, causing much more than just physical damage in its wake." Zasalamel remarked, his eyes looking extremely serious.

 

Back in the field, Raizou stomped the ground with his left foot and pushed his hands forward, palms open. The earthen barrier enclosed in on the Kido blast and formed a massive dome, containing the attack. His construct then grabbed the dome and charged it with dark lightning, hurling it towards Byakko with tremendous force that it produced gale winds around it.

 

"Eat that, Shini------" Raizou shouted but stopped when he felt a shot of pain. He was running out of time. He focused his eyes and redirected his remaining strength towards his body.

 

"HAHAHAHA! I'll kill you before I die. I'll kill you!" Raizou exclaimed in his demonic voice, eyes glowing at its darkest.

 

From high above the wall, Zasalamel shook his head. He drew his zanpakutou and grabbed it by the blade using his left hand. He then charged it with his reiatsu, turning it yellowish. As Raizou glowed darker and darker, he pointed his zanpakutou towards the Privaron espada, causing a nearly invisible dome of negatively charged particle that's undetectable by even his fellow espada. He then proceeded to watching what Raizou and Nato are going to do next, his eyes still dead serious.

"I wonder who is distracted?" Reinhardt said appearing behind Iyusaka, Jun Fon, and Takeda.

 

"Isn't it not you?" Another Reinhardt appeared on the other side.

 

"Well, this could be interesting." A third Reinhardt appear on a third side.

 

"Ah, I find this annoying." A fourth Reinhardt appeared behind Kaosu.

 

All of them looked crystalline and smoke vents out of their eyes and mouth as they spoke. All of them spoke like the real Reinhardt, cold and emotionless. On their arms, a distinct glow was present. It looked as if atmosphere was condensing in around the battlefield. From across the field, Schmerz looked towards the three captains and the Quincy, a look of glee present on his minotaur face.

 

"SINCE WHEN DID YOU USED THAT, BOSS?" Schmerz bellowed excitedly at Reinhardt.

 

The Bount pointed to the seals on the ground. He then pointed towards Vereisen with a cold look on his eyes before turning back towards the three captains. He gave Kanki Ushio a bow before walking casually towards the three captain and Kaosu

 

"You didn't think that stream of fire and ice was just for show, did you? Of course I knew you'd sooner or later evade and neutralize that technique. However," Reinhardt pointed to the clones around the shinigami captains, "I made sure to place seals for them too. And as for that Quincy. I'm pretty sure Fui-sama has that one covered."

 

He flicked his fingers, and Schmerz suddenly pounded the ground with his minotaur feet, causing large cracks to form, and orange flames to erupt from the ground. The flames then formed around Schmerz, covering his entire body in armor of fire, engulfing even his weapon, leaving no spot empty. Reinhardt then motioned Schmerz towards the three captains.

 

"Do what as you please." Reinhardt said, disappearing in a thick layer of mist produced by Vereisen.

 

His clones all looked satisfied as the drew out a sword made of ice. A shield of ice is also present on their other arm, and their head are covered in a dragon-like helmet. The charged at the captains with intensity as Schmerz inched closer. The minotaur's flaming body melts even the ground he steps on, and the air seemed to get exhausted when he passed by.

 

"LEVEL 3 BOSS FIGHT!" Schmerz joked as he stomped on the ground.

 

Bright orange flames erupted from the ground, forming a pillar of fire that stretched up towards the sky until it split, heading straight towards the three captains and the Quincy.

Kaosu pulled out two Seele Schneiders and activated them while her turned to slash through the crystal like clone. then he formed his bow and jumped into the air firing the two down at the two clones that appeared at the side of the group of captains. Kaosu threw out some silver tubes shouting an incantation. "A silver rod strikes the five-fingered stone bed - Quintuple Restraining Frames!" A man-sized pentagonal Quincy cross forms attempting to envelops its target. the clone that appeared behind the three captains. While suspended Kaosu fired scatter shots at the Reinhardt that remained in his original place, before he turned to mist, and the bount clones if they had evaded or blocked his previous attacks. there was a total of 100 arrows being fired at each. Kaosu then hiyrenraku to appear on a building out of the way of the attack Reinhardt had used.

OOC: Takeda has already shunpo'd away, leaving only Iyusaka and Jun Fon as the captains present.

 

As the attack came closer towards Iyusaka, he simply smiled and began to talk. "I guess since I don't have to look after Takeda, I can focus more of my mind and power into this fight." Iyusaka stated calmly as he gripped the handle of Kesshoo Goon Ken tightly. "Very well then. Cpt. Jun Fon, we don't want to appear weak now, do we?" Iyusaka asked sarcastically as he looked towards the incoming flames. Iyusaka then held his zanpakuto at head level and swung down, releasing ten crystals containing reiatsu.

 

As the crystals impale through the ground surface, they grew into a giant crystal wall, blocking off the attack. As Reinhardt's flames made contact with the wall, a huge chunk of the wall shattered releasing a barrage of crystal shards that flew at Reinhardt. As the shards came close to Reinhardt, they exploded, creating a huge explosion. Iyusaka then looked at Jun Fon, then the quincy, and finally towards Reinhardt. "With that armor, that explosion won't cause much damage. So now it's our turn to launch the counter attack back at them." Iyusaka stated as he shunpo'd above the cloud of smoke caused by the blast and swung his zanpakuto towards Reinhardt. Iyusaka looked back at the quincy and Jun Fon. "You two, cover me!" Iyusaka exclaimed.

[Ultimate Assassin Ninjew]

Sven was growing excited as the shinigami, though gone into Bankai, was beginning to push him. He decided to push it to the next level as the shinigami changed his element. This would make it all the funner to him. It may even show the shinigami that he would need more then his Bankai to face him. "Fly in the skys Deragonu," Sven said as his blade melted and rushed onto his body. Sven becomes coated in a white, scale like armor. His mask formed over his face and looked like that of a dragon's skull. A long spiked white tail grew off his tail bone. His hands and feet became claws, as spikes appeared along his spine. Large white wings formed off his back, but were retracted on his back. The wingspan was a length of 15ft though while it was retracted it didn't seem like it. The sudden resurrection erupted a large blast of reiatsu, knocking into the shinigami as he went to strike from behind. Sven neither knew or cared at that point because he went into his resurrection. If the shinigami had somehow continued his attack Sven's wings and body felt the nick on his armor and turned around to face with with a smirk on his face. If not, he noticed the shinigami no longer in front of him and turned quickly, extending his wings as he did so and faced the shinigami with a smirk. "Now we will begin on our fun," he said.

Reinhardt smirked as his clones shattered only to reform again. The bits and pieces of icy that shattered gingerly went back into place, reforming the clones. Some of the arrows were deflected by the clone's shield while, Schmerz simply used his flaming body to block the arrows heading towards Reinhardt. The Orange flames started to turn a slight violet color, erupted from

the minotaur's body as it got hit with arrows made of spiritual particles.

 

"HAHAHA! MORE! HIT ME MORE WITH YOUR TECHNIQUES!" Schmerz shouted.

 

Just then Iyusaka released his own attack, causing an explosion in front of the real Reinhardt. Schmerz got hit with the explosion, prompting his flames to burn a completely violet color. The heat was extremely intense that the ground Schmerz was standing on has become magma. Somehow, Schmerz wasn't sinking in it, and instead seemed to be enjoying standing on it. Reinhardt snapped his fingers, and his clones suddenly turned towards Schmerz, stabbing him with their icy sword. On impact, the clones suddenly turned to water and evaporated, then the steam got absorbed into Schmerz. The magma bed expanded exponentially, eating up the nearby buildings in a sea of flaming earth.

 

"You really need to recall some laws of nature," Reinhardt said coldly from his hiding position inside a thick mist generated by Vereisen. Somehow, he is unaffected by the heat that Schmerz is exhuming, "Ordinary fire burns greatly from oxygen. The more oxygen there is, the greater the fire. The same is true with fuel sources. As long as flames are fueled with something, it will burn intensely. But Schmerz is different. His flames not only burns from the natural sources."

 

Spiritual particles around Schmerz suddenly materialized into a white glow, mainly coming from the houses the magma bed burned, and they merged with Schmer'z already hot armor. The minotaur let out a massive amount of steam from his nose, aiming it at Iyusaka and Kaosu. He then stomped the magma bed underneath him, causing a pillar of fire to rise up in the air. The pillar is now colored violet, instead of the earlier orange variety, and it seemed more intense. As what it did earlier, it split as it reached a certain height, going straight at the three opponents with enhanced speed and power.

 

"LEVEL 3 BOSS FIGHT, 2nd PHASE BABY!" Schmerz bellowed happily, swinging his violet-flaming axe around him, producing a wave of fire that encircled him and Reinhardt, creating a fire wall.

How does his Resurreccion enhance his speed? The others I can understand, as armor forms and his Reiatsu is increased, but speed isn't mentioned anywhere in his Resurreccion powers and his armor, wings, and tail seem like they would increase his weight, thus decreasing his speed. Also, how can a stab and slash from Akiyama be reduced to a 'nick' when Akiyama's strength and offense surpassed Sven's defense to begin with and have been amplified?

 

Also, I made up the Danku incantation.

 

 

Akiyama was sent skidding away from Sven by the pulse of Reiatsu. He used his Earth manipulation abilities to raise the ground at an incline behind him, slowing his motion. He stopped about five feet from the Espada.

 

Akiyama muttered a curse as he saw his foe's wings. This would make keeping to close range an irritating prospect. Akiyama changed powers, his Bankai rings revolving to place Water above the others.

 

Activating his powers of levitation, Akiyama shot up twelve feet into the air. He pointed at the space behind his foe. "Barrier beyond perception. The unbreakable glass. The fool's strikes injure not the shielded warrior. Bakudo 81: Danku." As a translucent barrier 8 yards tall and 6 yards wide appeared two feet behind the Espada, Akiyama propelled himself straight down towards his foe. He held his Wakizashi horizontally before his torso to protect from attacks, slashing diagonally down at the left side of his foe's head and neck.

[spoiler=OOC]Abilities - Sonido: Has a fast sonido. Can be used without Resurrection. In Resurrection, it is faster.

 

Zanpakutou Name and Appearance: "scale like armor that can withstand simple sword strikes."

 

In resurrection, basicly all of an espada's powers are amplified except of course intellect. Spirit Pressure is only increased the instant the change takes place.

 

The speed increase was stated in the abilities under sonido. So only when he uses Sonido is it increase otherwise its normal. It is reduced to a nick because of the armor like scales, the damage could be greater but he only feels a nick. There may be a cut on the armor, but Sven probably wouldn't notice or care.

 

 

Sven watched as the shinigami rose into the air. He didn't know what the shinigami was planning so he held out his hand towards him. "let me show you the power of an Espada," he said, "Cero Oscuras." A small jet of black began forming off his claws. It had a small high pitch sound as it charged. As the shinigami launched towards him, Sven released the cero. It blasted out towards the shinigami in a large black like beam. Sven's feet/claws gripped onto the ground and formed a small crator as he launched the cero. Anyone around could not see it however because it was still night out, but Akiyama would be able to because he was right there. Though not able to see it, everyone would be able to feel its power and instinctively turn in the direction it came. It may even be able to draw out the Captain Commander, which Sven wanted. This would be his way fo finding him. The shinigami though in a defensive stance would have to act swiftly if he did not wish to die. Sven's face held a large smirk and possibly a light smile.
