Zimiri of the Muse
I just finished "Hamlet" by William Shakespeare. Discuss the trajedy of hamlet, and any other work of this great man.[spoiler=hamlet summary]Hamlet's friend Horatio visits from some other place far away and talks to the people on guard at hamlets castle. The kings ghost appears and then leaves. Horatio tells hamlet. The next night hamlet goes up there and talks to the ghost, the ghost tells him his uncle the new king killed him. Hamlets gets pissed and swears to kill his uncle. He pretends to be crazy to hide his true plans. Months pass and hamlet gets the chance to kill his uncle but decides not to because he wasnt looking. He goes and talks to his mom and then stabs the kings high adviser because he was spying on them. The king sends hamlet to europe to be executed but then hamlet changes the orders and makes it so these two old friends of his get killed instead. He comes back from England and his girlfriend is dead. Her older brother Laertes gets pissed and blames hamlet and they fight. The king breaks the fight up and then talks to Laertes in private later on. He convinces him to fence hamlet with a poison sword. Hamlet doesnt know this and accepts his wager. The king said to laertes "he will die either way, if he lands the first blow he will drink from a poison cup, if you land first he will be poisoned by the sword." The match starts and the queen drinks from the poison cup not knowing it was poison. Then Laertes lands first. Hamlet falls and the poison takes effect. Laertes feels stricken by horror and drops his sword. Hamlet picks up the sword and stabs Laertes. His mother collapses dead. Hamlet gets really pissed and goes and cuts the kings head off. Then hamlet dies. the prince of norway comes in a becomes king for some reason.so hamlet, king claudias, queen gertude, laertes, opelhia (hamlets girlfriend), the kings adviser, 2 of hamlets ex friends, all die. cerberus21
MacBeth was my favorite. It really demonstrated the way power corrupts even the most noble of individuals.

Phantom Roxas
I played Hamlet in 8th grade (Awesome), read Romeo and Juliet as a freshmen, and finished Macbeth. All are pretty good, since it's Shakespeare. Huh. I need to read some of his comedies.
